The nonlinear vibrations of a viscoelastic cylinder with an elastic shell subjected to two harmonic forces are investigated using the averaging scheme described in [3, 4]. Nonresonance, resonance, and subharmonic vibrations are examined. A linear model of a Timoshenko-type shell with an elastic filler is proposed for solving the problem of the parametric oscillations of the system. A class of operators is derived, which act in a Hilbert space, for which the problem of the determination of a spectrum of eigen-values permits an iterative scheme of solution. The local length-dependence of the natural frequencies and forms of plane transverse oscillations of a thin inhomogeneous rod in an elastic medium with a variable stiffness and arbitrary elastic-fastening boundary conditions is investigated. It is established that the presence of an external elastic medium, described by the Winkler model, can lead to an anomalous effect – an increase in the natural frequencies of lower oscillation modes as the length of the rod increases continuously. The extremely fine properties of this change as a function of the length, the mode number and the method of fastening are revealed. The oscillations in the case of standard methods of fastening are investigated separately. Simple examples, which illustrate the anomalous dependence of the natural oscillation frequencies of the rod in an extremely inhomogeneous elastic medium with different boundary conditions are calculated. 相似文献

We present a method for rational application of the deformation properties of a shell system with an elastic filler: design
of a shell with variable thickness while preserving the load-bearing ability of the system as a whole. For the equi-strength

The problem of the stability of a glass-reinforced plastic cylindrical shell with an elastic core subjected to twisting moments applied to the edges of the shell is considered. As in various other studies [4–6], the glass-reinforced plastic is treated as an elastically orthotropic material. The problem of static stability during axial compression of an orthotropic cylindrical shell reinforced by a continuous filler is solved. The filler is considered to be a three-dimensional isotropic linear-viscoelastic body, fixed at its outer surface to the shell. Transverse shear in the shell is taken into account. A method of determining the regions of dynamic instability of an orthotropic cylindrical shell "bonded" to an elastic cylinder is proposed. An expression for the core reaction is obtained from the coupling conditions for the forces normal to the lateral surface and the radial displacements of the shell and the core at the contact surface. When the reaction is substituted in the system of equations of motion of the shell, the part corresponding to the free vibrations of the cylinder is discarded. The system of equations of motion of the shell is reduced to an equation of Mathieu type, from which transcendental equations for determining the boundaries of the regions of dynamic instability are obtained. These regions are analyzed for various modes of loss of stability and different values of the core modulus of elasticity. 相似文献
