The life of solid lubricating coatings of the VNII NP type, based on molybdenum disulfides and various binders, has been experimentally investigated under deep vacuum conditions (10–8–5 · 10–9 torr) together with the composition of the gas released in the friction process. It is shown that both under atmospheric conditions and in a deep vacuum the life of the coatings depends on the chemical nature of the film-former. The depth of the vacuum also has an important influence on the life of the coatings, both the mechanism and the end result of this effect depending to a large extent on the physicochemical properties of the bind. Using the functional integral formalism for the statistical generating functional in the statistical (finite temperature) quantum field theory, we prove the equivalence of many-photon Green's functions in the Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau and Klein–Gordon–Fock statistical quantum field theories. As an illustration, we calculate the one-loop polarization operators in both theories and demonstrate their coincidence.  相似文献

We review the relationship between pure four-dimensional Seiberg–Witten theory and the periodic Toda chain. We discuss the definition of the prepotential and give two proofs that it satisfies the generalized Witten–Dijkgraaf–Verlinde–Verlinde equations. In this paper, a dynamical systems analysis is presented for characterizing the motion of a group of unicycles in leader–follower formation. The equilibrium formations are characterized along with their local stability analysis. It is demonstrated that with the variation in control gain, the collective dynamics might undergo Andronov–Hopf and Fold–Hopf bifurcations. The vigor of quasi-periodicity in the regime of Andronov–Hopf bifurcation and heteroclinic bursts between quasi-periodic and chaotic behavior in the regime of Fold–Hopf bifurcation increases with the number of unicycles. Numerical simulations also suggest the occurrence of global bifurcations involving the destruction of heteroclinic orbit.  相似文献

We give the first known bound for orders of differentiations in differential Nullstellensatz for both partial and ordinary algebraic differential equations. This problem was previously addressed in [A. Seidenberg, An elimination theory for differential algebra, Univ. of California Publ. in Math. III (2) (1956) 31–66] but no complete solution was given. Our result is a complement to the corresponding result in algebraic geometry, which gives a bound on degrees of polynomial coefficients in effective Nullstellensatz [G. We construct a new family of cyclic difference sets with parameters ((3 d – 1)/2, (3 d – 1 – 1)/2, (3 d – 2 – 1)/2) for each odd d. The difference sets are constructed with certain maps that form Jacobi sums. These new difference sets are similar to Maschietti's hyperoval difference sets, of the Segre type, in characteristic two. In previous article [M. Zhan, Phase-lock equations and its connections to Ginzburg–Landau equations of superconductivity, J. Nonlinear Anal. 42 (2000) 1063–1075], we introduced a system of equations (phase-lock equations) to model the superconductivity phenomena. We investigated its connection to Ginzburg–Landau equations and proved the existence and uniqueness of both weak and strong solutions. In this article, we study the steady-state problem associated with the phase-lock equations. We prove that the steady-state problem has multiple solutions and show that the solution set enjoys some structural properties as proved by Foias and Teman for the Navier–Stokes equations in [C. Foias, R. Teman, Structure of the set of stationary solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations, Commun. Pure Appl. Math. XXX (1977) 149–164].  相似文献

The class of generalized z–distributions is defined and their properties are investigated. Ornstein–Uhlenbeck–type and self–similar generalized z–processes are constructed and described. We obtain linear continuous operators providing a solution to the Stieltjes moment problem in the framework of Gelfand–Shilov spaces of rapidly decreasing smooth functions. The construction rests on an interpolation procedure due to R. Estrada for general rapidly decreasing smooth functions, and adapted by S.-Y. Chung, D. Kim and Y. Yeom to the case of Gelfand–Shilov spaces. It requires a linear continuous version of the so-called Borel–Ritt–Gevrey theorem in asymptotic theory.  相似文献

The Askey–Wilson function transform is a q-analogue of the Jacobi function transform with kernel given by an explicit non-polynomial eigenfunction of the Askey–Wilson second order q-difference operator. The kernel is called the Askey–Wilson function. In this paper an explicit expansion formula for the Askey–Wilson function in terms of Askey–Wilson polynomials is proven. With this expansion formula at hand, the image under the Askey–Wilson function transform of an Askey–Wilson polynomial multiplied by an analogue of the Gaussian is computed explicitly. As a special case of these formulas a q-analogue (in one variable) of the Macdonald–Mehta integral is obtained, for which also two alternative, direct proofs are presented.  相似文献

The results of a calorimetric investigation of a glass-reinforced textolite in uniaxial tension are presented. The specimens were deformed on the interval of strain rates from 0.3 to 10.5 mm/min at test temperatures from –30 to 80°C. Min–max control is a robust control, which guarantees stability in the presence of matched uncertainties. The basic min–max control is a static state feedback law. Recently, the applicability conditions of discrete static min–max control through the output have been derived. In this paper, the results for output static min–max control are further extended to a class of output dynamic min–max controllers, and a general parametrization of all such controllers is derived. The dynamic output min–max control is shown to exist in many circumstances under which the output static min–max control does not exist, and usually allows for broader bounds on uncertainties. Another family of robust output min–max controllers, constructed from an asymptotic observer which is insensitive to uncertainties and a state min–max control, is derived. The latter is shown to be a particular case of the dynamic min–max control when the nominal system has no zeros at the origin. In the case where the insensitive observer exists, it is shown that the observer-controller has the same stability properties as those of the full state feedback min–max control.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a composite generalized Laguerre–Legendre pseudospectral method for the Fokker–Planck equation in an infinite channel, which behaves like a parabolic equation in one direction, and behaves like a hyperbolic equation in other direction. We establish some approximation results on the composite generalized Laguerre–Legendre–Gauss–Radau interpolation, with which the convergence of proposed composite scheme follows. An efficient implementation is provided. Numerical results show the spectral accuracy in space of this approach and coincide well with theoretical analysis. The approximation results and techniques developed in this paper are also very appropriate for many other problems on multiple-dimensional unbounded domains, which are not of standard types.  相似文献

We prove that the kernels of the Baskakov–Durrmeyer and the Szász–Mirakjan–Durrmeyer operators are completely monotonic functions. We establish a Bernstein type inequality for these operators and apply the results to the quasi-interpolants recently introduced by Abel. For the Baskakov–Durrmeyer quasi-interpolants, we give a representation as linear combinations of the original Baskakov–Durrmeyer operators and prove an estimate of Jackson–Favard type and a direct theorem in terms of an appropriate K-functional.  相似文献
