Using the coherent state representation of Wigner operator and the technique
of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, this
paper derives the Wigner
function for the Hermite polynomial state (HPS). The tomogram of
the HPS is calculated with the aid of newly introduced intermediate
coordinate-momentum representation in quantum optics. 相似文献

New operator identities with regard to the two-variable Hermite polynomial by virtue of entangled state representation 下载免费PDF全文
By virtue of the entangled state representation we concisely derive some new operator identities with regard to the two-variable Hermite polynomial (TVHP). By them and the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators we further derive new generating function formulas of the TVHP. They are useful in quantum optical theoretical calculations. It is seen from this work that by combining the IWOP technique and quantum mechanical representations one can derive some new integration formulas even without really performing the integration. 相似文献

We construct a new type of photon-added squeezed coherent state generated by repeatedly operating the bosonic creation operator on a new type of squeezed coherent state [Fan H Y and Xiao M 1996 Phys. Lett. A 220 81]. We find that its normalization factor is related to single-variable Hermite polynomials. Furthermore, we investigate its statistical properties, such as Mandel’s Q parameter, photon-number distribution, and Wigner function. The nonclassicality is displayed in terms of the intense oscillation of photon-number distribution and the negativity of the Wigner function. 相似文献

We find that the squeezed two-mode number state is just a two-variable Hermite polynomial excitation of the two-mode squeezed vacuum state (THPES). We find that the Wigner function of THPES and its marginal distributions are just related to two-variable Hermite polynomials (or Laguerre polynomials) and that the tomogram of THPES can be expressed by one-mode Hermite polynomial. 相似文献

Non-Gaussianity and decoherence of generalized photon-added coherent state as a Hermite-excited coherent state 下载免费PDF全文
Generalized photon-added coherent state (GPACS) is obtained by repeatedly acting the combination of Bose creation and annihilation operations on the coherent state. It is found that GPACS can be regarded as a Hermite-excited coherent state due to its normalization factor related to a Hermite polynomial. In addition, we adopt the Hilbert-Schmidt distance to quantify the non-Gaussian character of GPACS and discuss the decoherence of GPACS in dissipative channel by studying the loss of nonclassicality in reference of the negativity of Wigner function. 相似文献

Nonclassicality and decoherence of coherent superposition operation of photon subtraction and photon addition on squeezed state 下载免费PDF全文
The statistical properties of m-coherent superposition operation (μa+νa+)m on the single-mode squeezed vacuum state (M-SSVS) and its decoherence in a thermal environment have been studied. Converting the M-SSVS to a squeezed Hermite polynomial excitation state, we obtain a compact expression for the normalization factor of M-SSVS, which is the Legendre polynomial of the squeezing parameter. We also derive the explicit expression of Wigner function (WF) of M-SSVS, and find the negative region of WF in phase space. The decoherence effect on this state is then discussed by deriving the time evolution of the WF. Using the negativity of WF, the loss of nonclassicality has been discussed. 相似文献

Some new generating function formulae of the two-variable Hermite polynomials and their application in quantum optics 下载免费PDF全文
We explore the theoretical possibility of extending the usual squeezed state to those produced by nonlinear singlemode squeezing operators. We derive the wave functions of exp[-(ig/2)((1-X2)1/2P + P(1-X2)1/2)]|0 in the coordinate representation. A new operator's disentangling formula is derived as a by-product. 相似文献

Comparison of nonclassicality between photon-added and photon-subtracted squeezed vacuum states 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, we introduce photon-added and photon-subtracted squeezed vacuum state (PASV and PSSV) and obtain their normalized factors, which have the similar forms involved in Lengendre polynomials. Moreover, we give the compact expressions of Wigner function, which are related to single-variable Hermite polynomials. Especially, we compare their nonclassicality in terms of Mandel Q-factor and the negativity of Wigner function. 相似文献

We theoretically analyze the nonclassicality and entanglement of two new non-Gaussian entangled states generated by applying multiple-photon addition and subtraction to a two-mode binomial state. The nonclassical properties are investigated in terms of the partial negativity of the Wigner functions, whose results show that their nonclassicality can be enhanced via one-mode even-number photon operations and two-mode symmetrical operations for the initial two-mode binomial state. We also find that there exists some enhancement in the entanglement properties in certain parameter ranges via one-mode photon-addition and two-mode symmetrical operations. 相似文献

The effect of two quantum state engineering processes that can be used to burn a hole at vacuum in the photon number distribution of quantum states of radiation field is compared using various witnesses of lower- and higher-order nonclassicality as well as a measure of nonclassicality. Specifically, the modification in nonclassical properties due to vacuum state filtration and a single photon addition on an even coherent state, binomial state, and Kerr state are investigated using the criteria of lower- and higher-order antibunching, squeezing, and sub-Poissonian photon statistics. Further, the amount of nonclassicality present in these engineered quantum states having enormous applications in continuous variable quantum communication is quantified and analyzed by using an linear entropy-based entanglement potential. It is observed that all the quantum states studied here are highly nonclassical, and the hole-burning processes can introduce/enhance nonclassical features. However, it is not true in general. A hole at vacuum implies a maximally nonclassical state (as far as Lee's nonclassical depth is concerned), but a particular process of hole burning at vacuum does not ensure the existence of any particular nonclassical feature. Specifically, lower- and higher-order squeezing are not observed for photon-added and vacuum filtered even coherent states. 相似文献

New operator-ordering identities and associative integration formulas of two-variable Hermite polynomials for constructing non-Gaussian states 下载免费PDF全文
For directly normalizing the photon non-Gaussian states(e.g., photon added and subtracted squeezed states), we use the method of integration within an ordered product(IWOP) of operators to derive some new bosonic operator-ordering identities. We also derive some new integration transformation formulas about one- and two-variable Hermite polynomials in complex function space. These operator identities and associative integration formulas provide much convenience for constructing non-Gaussian states in quantum engineering. 相似文献

Comparison between photon annihilation-then-creation and photon creation-then-annihilation thermal states:Non-classical and non-Gaussian properties 下载免费PDF全文
We investigate the nonclassical properties of arbitrary number photon annihilation-then-creation operation(AC) and creation-then-annihilation operation(CA) to the thermal state(TS), whose normalization factors are related to the polylogarithm function. Then we compare their quantum characters, such as photon number distribution, average photon number,Mandel Q-parameter, purity and the Wigner function. Because of the noncommutativity between the annihilation operator and the creation operator, the ACTS and the CATS have different nonclassical properties. It is found that nonclassical properties are exhibited more strongly after AC than after CA. In addition we also examine their non-Gaussianity. The result shows that the ACTS can present a slightly bigger non-Gaussianity than the CATS. 相似文献
