We propose a simple scheme to generate x-type four-charge entangled states by using SQUID-based charge qubits capacitively coupled to a transmission line resonator (TLR). The coupling between the superconducting qubit and the TLR can be effectively controlled by properly adjusting the control parameters of the charge qubit. The experimental feasibility of our scheme is also shown.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement quantum state transfer in a hybrid circuit quantum electrodynarnics (QED) system which consists of a superconducting charge qubit, a flux qubit, and a transmission line resonator (TLR). It is shown that quantum state transfer between the charge qubit and the flux qubit can be realized by using the TLR as the data bus.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement fermionic quantum SWAP and Fredkin gates for spin qubits with the aid of charge detection. The scheme is deterministic without the need of qubit–qubit interaction, and the proposed setups consist of simple polarizing beam splitters, single-spin rotations, and charge detectors. Compared with linear optics quantum computation, this charge-measurement-based qubit scheme greatly enhances the success probability for im- plementing quantum SWAP and Fredkin gates and greatly simplifies the experimental realization of scalable quantum computers with noninteracting electrons.  相似文献

This paper presents a scheme for faithfully distributing a pure entanglement between two parties over an arbitrary collective-noise channel with linear optics. The transmission is assisted by an additional qubit against collective noise. The receiver can take advantage of the time discrimination and the measurement results of the assistant qubit to reconstruct a pure entanglement with the sender. Although the scheme succeeds probabilistically, the resource used to get a pure entanglement state is finite, and so is easier to establish entanglement in practice than quantum entanglement purification.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a scheme for probabilistic remote state preparation of a general qubit by using W states. The scheme consists of the sender, Alice, and two remote receivers Bob and Carol. Alice performs a projective measurement on her qubit in the basis spanned by the state she wants to prepare and its orthocomplement. This allows either Bob or Carol to reconstruct the state with finite success probability. It is shown that for some special ensembles of qubits, the remote state preparation scheme requires only two classical bits, unlike the case in the scheme of quantum teleportation where three classical bits are needed.  相似文献

Based on superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) coupled to a cavity, we propose a scheme for implementing a quantum controlled-phase gate (QPG) and Deutsch-Jozsa (D J) algorithm by a controllable interaction. In the present scheme, the SQUID works in the charge regime, and the cavity field is ultilized as quantum data-bus, which is sequentially coupled to only one qubit at a time. The interaction between the selected qubit and the data bus, such as resonant and dispersive interaction, can be realized by turning the gate capacitance of each SQUID. Especially, the bus is not excited and thus the cavity decay is suppressed during the implementation of DJ algorithm. For the QPG operation, the mode of the bus is unchanged in the end of the operation, although its mode is really excited during the operations. Finally, for typical experiment data, we analyze simply the experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme. Based on the simple operation, our scheme may be realized in this solid-state system, and our idea may be realized in other systems.  相似文献

We have calculated the electron energy of the ground and lower excited states for H2^+-like impurity states confined in finite spherical quantum dots in GaAs. Based on the characteristics of energy levels, we have proposed a scheme for realizing charge qubit composed by the the ground and the first excited states of this confined double donor system for the first time. In the proposed scheme the charge qubit is coded in terms of the located electronic states.  相似文献

A quantum identification scheme including registration and identification phases is proposed. The users‘ passwords are transmitted by qubit string and recorded as a set of quantum operators. The security of the proposed scheme is guaranteed by the no-cloning theorem. We propose a scheme to implement quantum state transfer between two distant quantum nodes via a hybrid solid–optomechanical interface. The quantum state is encoded on the native superconducting qubit, and transferred to the microwave photon, then the optical photon successively, which afterwards is transmitted to the remote node by cavity leaking,and finally the quantum state is transferred to the remote superconducting qubit. The high efficiency of the state transfer is achieved by controllable Gaussian pulses sequence and numerically demonstrated with theoretically feasible parameters.Our scheme has the potential to implement unified quantum computing–communication–computing, and high fidelity of the microwave–optics–microwave transfer process of the quantum state.  相似文献

A phase-slip flux qubit, exactly dual to a charge qubit, is composed of a superconducting loop interrupted by a phase-slip junction. We propose a tunable phase-slip flux qubit by replacing the phase-slip junction with a charge-related superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) consisting of two phase-slip junctions connected in series with a superconducting island. This charge-SQUID acts as an effective phase-slip junction controlled by the applied gate voltage and can be used to tune the energy-level splitting of the qubit. In addition, we show that a large inductance inserted in the loop can reduce the inductance energy and consequently suppress the dominating flux noise of the phase-slip flux qubit. This enhanced phase-slip flux qubit is exactly dual to a transmon qubit.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to enable a controllable cross-Kerr interaction between microwave photons in a circuit quantum electrodynamics(QED) system.In this scheme we use two transmission-line resonators(TLRs) and one superconducting quantum interference device(SQUID) type charge qubit,which acts as an artificial atom.It is shown that in the dispersive regime of the circuit-QED system,a controllable cross-Kerr interaction can be obtained by properly preparing the initial state of the qubit,and a large cross-phase shift between two microwave fields in the two TLRs can then be reached.Based on this cross-Kerr interaction,we show how to create a macroscopic entangled state between the two TLRs.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed to controll the decoherence of three-level rf-SQUID qubit with asymmetric potential by designing an external electric circuit for superconductive flux qubit. Dynamical control of decoherence induced by the environment in a single quantum-bit system is investigated. We choose the suitable perturbations acting on the qubit system to decrease the decoherence due to pure amplitude damping. The scheme proposed here is based on the free-Hamiltonian-elimination technique and the paritykick technique, which concludes two homogeneous classical large-blue-detuned optical fields with different frequencies added to the qubit system. By applying this scheme, the decoherence can be completely suppressed.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a scheme to realize quantum information transfer from a double quantum dot (DQD) system to a quantized cavity field. The DQD and the cavity field are treated as a two-state charge qubit and a continuous-variable system, respectively. It is shown that quantum information encoded in the two-state DQD system can be transferred to quantum states of the cavity field with a continuous-variable basis through appropriate projective measurements with respect to the DQD.  相似文献

We present a scheme of quantum computing with charge qubits corresponding to one excess electron shared between dangling-bond pairs of surface silicon atoms that couple to a microwave stripline resonator on a chip. By choosing a certain evolution time, we propose the realization of a set of universal single-and two-qubit logical gates. Due to its intrinsic stability and scalability, the silicon dangling-bond charge qubit can be regarded as one of the most promising candidates for quantum computation. Compared to the previous schemes on quantum computing with silicon bulk systems, our scheme shows such advantages as a long coherent time and direct control and readout.  相似文献

An alternative simple scheme is proposed to implement the two-qubit Grover search algorithm in trapped ions by applying a single standing-wave laser pulse during the two-qubit operation. The scheme is insensitive to the heating of vibrational motion, which is important in view of decoherence. Moreover a third auxiliary internal electronic state is eliminated, and the qubit definitions are the same for both ions, which makes the experiment easier and simpler.  相似文献

Positive-operator-value measurement (POVM) is the most general class of quantum measurement. We propose a scheme to deterministically implement arbitrary POVMs of single atomic qubit via cavity QED catalysed by only one ancilla atomic qubit. By appropriately entangling two atomic qubits and sequentially measuring the ancilla qubit, any POVM can be implemented step by step. As an application of our scheme, the realization of a specific POVM for optimal unambiguous discrimination (OUD) between two nonorthogonal states is given.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed where two superconducting qubits driven by a classical field interacting separately with two distant LC circuits connected by another LC circuit through mutual inductance,are used for implementing quantum gates.By using dressed states,quantum state transfer and quantum entangling gate can be implemented.With the help of the time-dependent electromagnetic field,any two dressed qubits can be selectively coupled to the data bus (the last LC circuit),then quantum state can be transferred from one dressed qubit to another and multi-mode entangled state can also be formed.As a result,the promising perspectives for quantum information processing of mesoscopic superconducting qubits are obtained and the distributed and scalable quantum computation can be implemented in this scheme.  相似文献

This paper shows that a proposal for implementing all possible two-operator positive-operator-value measurements of single spin qubit can be obtained via introducing another spin qubit as ancilla. The realization process is accomplished from the free evolution of the Heisenberg XX model by considering nearest-neighbour spin interaction. A controlled-NOT gate, which is a significant operator for this scheme is also constructed and the generalisation to multiple-operator is considered finally.  相似文献

A scheme that probabilistically realizes hierarchical quantum state sharing of an arbitrary unknown qubit state with a four-qubit non-maximally entangled 丨X) state is presented in this paper. In the scheme, the sender Alice distributes a quantum secret with a Bell-state measurement and publishes her measurement outcomes via a classical channel to three agents who are divided into two grades. One agent is in the upper grade, while the other two agents are in the lower grade. Then by introducing an ancillary qubit, the agent of the upper grade only needs the assistance of any one of the other two agents for probabilistically obtaining the secret, while an agent of the lower grade needs the help of both the other two agents by using a controlled-NOT operation and a proper positive operator-valued measurement instead of the usual projective measurement. In other words, the agents of two different grades have different authorities to reconstruct Alice's secret in a probabilistic manner. The scheme can also be modified to implement the threshold-controlled teleportation.  相似文献
