Structure analysis by reduced data: V. New approach to refinement of crystal structures

A new approach to refining crystal structures using reduced experimental data is considered. The data reduction, which requires the establishment of the common and different characteristics of the measured data, can be done using the method of interexperimental minimization. The method is used to analyze the thermal motion of atoms. The method can also be used for the detailed study of different groups of those model parameters that are especially important for each specific case.
