Dinuclear Palladium(II), Platinum(II), and Iridium(III) Complexes of Bis[imidazol‐4‐yl]alkanes The reaction of bis(1,1′‐triphenylmethyl‐imidazol‐4‐yl) alkanes ((CH2)n bridged imidazoles L(CH2)nL, n = 3–6) with chloro bridged complexes [R3P(Cl)M(μ‐Cl)M(Cl)PR3] (M = Pd, Pt; R = Et, Pr, Bu) affords the dinuclear compounds [Cl2(R3P)M–L(CH2)nL–M(PR3)Cl2] 1 – 17 . The structures of [Cl2(Et3P)Pd–L(CH2)3L–Pd(PEt3)Cl2] ( 1 ), [Cl2(Bu3P)Pd–L(CH2)4L–Pd(PBu3)Cl2] ( 10 ), [Cl2(Et3P)Pd–L(CH2)5L–Pd(PEt3)Cl2] ( 3 ), [Cl2(Et3P)Pt–L(CH2)3L–Pt(PEt3)Cl2] ( 13 ) with trans Cl–M–Cl groups were determined by X‐ray diffraction. Similarly the complexes [Cl2(Cp*)Ir–L(CH2)nL–Ir(Cp*)Cl2] (n = 4–6) are obtained from [Cp*(Cl)Ir(μ‐Cl)2Ir(Cl)Cp*] and the methylene bridged bis(imidazoles).  相似文献

Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands. CXXVI. Palladium(II) and Platinum(II) Complexes with the Antimalarial Drug Mefloquine as Ligand The coordination sites of the antimalarial drug mefloquine (L) were studied. Reactions of the chloro bridged complexes (allyl)Pd(μ‐Cl)2Pd(allyl) and (R3P)(Cl)M(μ‐Cl)2M(Cl)(PR3) (M = Pd, Pt) with racemic mefloquine give the compounds (allyl)(Cl)Pd(L) ( 1 ), Cl2(Et3P)Pt(L) ( 2 ) and Cl2(Et3P)Pd(L) ( 3 ) with coordination of the piperidine N atom of mefloquine. In the presence of NaOMe the N,O‐chelate complexes Cl(Et3P)Pt(L–H+) ( 4 ) and Cl(R3P)Pd(L–H+) ( 5 , 6 , R = Et, nBu) were obtained. Protection of the piperidine N atom of mefloquine by protonation allows the synthesis of the complexes Cl2(Et3P)Pt(L + H+) ( 7 ) in which mefloquine is coordinated via the quinoline N atom. The structures of 2 , 3 and 4 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. In the crystal of 4 pairs of enantiomers are found which are linked by two hydrogen bridges between the amine group and the chloro ligand.  相似文献

Tri(1‐cyclohepta‐2, 4, 6‐trienyl)phosphane, P(C7H7)3 ([P] when coordinated to a metal atom), was used to stabilize complexes of platinum(II) and palladium(II) with chelating dichalcogenolato ligands as [P]M(E∩E) [E = S, ∩ = CH2CH2, M = Pt ( 3a ); E = S, ∩ = 1, 2‐C6H4, M = Pt ( 5a ), Pd ( 6a ); E = S, ∩ = C(O)C(O), M = Pt ( 7a ), Pd ( 8a ); E = S, Se, ∩ = 1, 2‐C2(B10H10), M = Pt ( 9a, 9b ), Pd ( 10a, 10b ); E = S, ∩ = Fe2(CO)6, M = Pt ( 11a ), Pd ( 12a )]. Starting materials in all reactions were [P]MCl2 with M = Pt ( 1 ) and Pd ( 2 ). Attempts at the synthesis of [P]M(ER)2 with non‐chelating chalcogenolato ligands were not successful. All new complexes were characterized by multinuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy in solution (1H, 13C, 31P, 77Se and 195Pt NMR), and the molecular structures of 5a and 12a were determined by X‐ray analysis. Both in the solid state and in solution the ligand [P] is linked to the metal atom by the P‐M bond and by η2‐C=C coordination of the central C=C bond of one of the C7H7 rings. In solution, intramolecular exchange between coordinated and non‐coordinated C7H7 rings is observed, the exchange process being markedly faster in the case of M = Pd than for M = Pt.  相似文献

Three new (N‐diphenylphosphino)‐isopropylanilines, having isopropyl substituent at the carbon 2‐ (1) 4‐ (2) or 2,6‐ (3) were prepared from the aminolysis of chlorodiphenylphosphine with 2‐isopropylaniline, 4‐isopropylaniline or 2,6‐diisopropylaniline, respectively, under anaerobic conditions. Oxidation of 1,2 and 3 with aqueous hydrogen peroxide, elemental sulfur or gray selenium gave the corresponding oxides, sulfides and selenides (Ph2P?E)NH? C6H4? 2‐CH(CH3)2, (Ph2P?E)NH? C6H4? 4‐CH(CH3)2 and (Ph2P?E)NH? C6H4? 2,6‐{CH(CH3)2}2, where E = O, S, or Se, respectively. The reaction of [M(cod)Cl2] (M = Pd, Pt; cod = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) with two equivalents of 1,2 or 3 yields the corresponding monodendate complexes [M((Ph2P)NH? C6H4? 2‐CH(CH3)2)2Cl2], M = Pd 1d, M = Pt 1e, [M((Ph2P)NH? C6H4? 4‐CH(CH3)2)2Cl2], M = Pd 2d, M = Pt 2e and [M((Ph2P)NH? C6H4? 2,6‐(CH(CH3)2)2)2Cl2], M = Pd 3d, M = Pt 3e, respectively. All the compounds were isolated as analytically pure substances and characterized by NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Furthermore, representative solid‐state structure of [(Ph2P?S)NH? C6H4? 4‐CH(CH3)2] (2b) was determined using single crystal X‐ray diffraction technique. The complexes 1d–3d were tested and found to be highly active catalysts in the Suzuki coupling and Heck reaction, affording biphenyls and stilbenes, respectively. 1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with picolines, [Au(PIC)Cl3], trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2], trans/cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] and [Pt(PIC)4]Cl2, were performed. After complexation, the 1H and 13C signals were shifted to higher frequency, whereas the 15N ones to lower (by ca 80–110 ppm), with respect to the free ligands. The 15N shielding phenomenon was enhanced in the series [Au(PIC)Cl3] < trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2] < cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] < trans‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2]; it increased following the Pd(II) → Pt(II) replacement, but decreased upon the transcis‐transition. Experimental 1H, 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts were compared to those quantum‐chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G*. New Pd(II) and Pt(II) 3,6-bis(2′-pyridyl)pyridazine (dppn) mononuclear complexes of the type M(dppn)Cl2 were prepared and characterized. From M(dppn)Cl2, the bimetallic homonuclear complexes M(dppn)MCl4 were prepared by reaction with Pd(PhCN)2Cl2 or K2PtCl4. Bimetallic heteronuclear species of the type M(dppn)M′Cl4, were prepared reacting the mononuclear complexes with the stoichiometric amount of M′Cl2 (M′ = Cu, Co, Ni). All the described reaction give product in high yield. The isolated compounds, almost completely insoluble in most organic solvents, were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ESR, reflectance spectra, and magnetic moment measurements. On the basis of these data the geometries around the metals are discussed.  相似文献

Hydrocarbon‐bridged Metal Complexes. L Dicarbonyl Cyclopentadienyl Pyridoyl Iron Complexes as Ligands Dicarbonyl‐cyclopentadienyl‐2‐ and 3‐pyridoyl‐iron (L1, L2) and 2,6‐dicarbonyl‐pyridine‐bis(dicarbonyl‐cyclopentadienyl‐iron) (L3) function as ligands in metal complexes and the N,O‐chelates [(OC)4M(L1)] (M = Mo, W, 8 a, b ) and [(Ph3P)2Cu(L1)]+BF4 ( 9 ) were prepared. Monodentate coordination of L1 and L2 through the pyridine N‐atom occurs in the palladium(II) complexes [Cl2Pd(PnBu3)(L1)] ( 10 ), [Cl2Pd(PnBu3)(L2)] ( 11 ) and [Cl2Pd(L2)2] ( 12 ). Ligand L3 forms the O,N,O‐bis(chelate) [Cl2Zn(L3)] ( 13 ). The crystal and molecular structures of L1, 8 b (M = W), 9–11 and 13 were determined by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

Summary Two ditertiaryarsines,o-phenylenebis(diphenylarsine), (pdpa) ando-phenylenebis(di-p-tolylarsine), (pdta) yield some new complexes of palladium(II) and platinum(II). These are: square planar M(pdta)X2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = Cl, Br or NCS; M = Pt, X = Cl]; [Pt(A-A)2] X2 · nCH2Cl2, [(A-A) = pdta, X = Cl, NCS or ClO4; (A-A) = pdpa, X=ClO4] and [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, (A-A) = pdta; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa]; distorted octahedral M(pdta)2-X2nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = I; M = Pt, X = Br or I] and [Pd(pdta)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, and five coordinate [M(A-A)2X] ClO4 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, Pt, (A-A) = pdta, X = I; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa, X = Br or I]. The [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2 complexes are novel in the sense that they contain bridging thiocyanate together with ionic perchlorate. The stereochemical assignments have been made on the basis of i.r. and u.v. spectra as well as conductance data.  相似文献

Summary The following palladium(II) and platinum(ll) complexes of rhodanine (HRd) and 3-methylrhodanine (MRd) have been prepared: Pd(HRd)1.5Cl2, Pd(HRd)2Br2, Pd(HRd)2Br2 · 0.25 EtOH, M(MRd)2X2 [M = Pd, X = Cl (0.25 EtOH) or Br; M = Pt, X = Cl or Br], Pd(MRd)3Br2, and M(MRd)4(ClO4)2 (M = Pd or Pt). The ligands are coordinated to the metal through the thiocarbonylic sulphur atom. Pd(HRd)1.5Cl2 has presumably a structure such as (X = Cl or Br) complexes have a trans-planar coordination. Pd(MRd)2X2 (X = Cl or Br) complexes arecis-planar coordinated. Pd(MRd)3Br2 has presumably a square coordination with two MRd molecules and two CI ionscis-coordinated in the equatorial plane, and a MRd molecule and a Cl ion weakly bonded in apical position. The M(MRd)4(ClO4)2 complexes have square planar coordination.Author to whom all correspondence should be addressed.  相似文献

Synthesis and Structure of the Nitrido Complexes (PPh4)2[(O3Os≡N)2 MCl2] (M = Pd und Pt) and [{(Me2PhP)3Cl2Re≡N}2PdCl2] The threenuclear complexes (PPh4)2[(O3Os≡N)2MCl2] (M = Pd ( 1a ) and Pt ( 1b )) are obtained by the reaction of (PPh4) [OsO3N] with [MCl2(NCC6H5)2] (M = Pd and Pt) in form of orange red ( 1a ) or red brown ( 1b ) crystals. The compounds crystallize isotypically in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 1052.35(6), b = 1376.70(6), c = 1607.3(1) pm, β = 94.669(7)°, and Z = 2 for 1a and a = 1053.27(7), b = 1371.6(1), c = 1615.9(1) pm, β = 94.557(7)°, and Z = 2 for 1b . In the centrosymmetric complex anions [(O3O≡N)2MCl2]2— a linear MCl2 moiety is connected in trans arrangement with two complexes [O3Os≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Os≡N‐M. For the M2+ cations such results a square‐planar coordination MCl2N2. The virtually linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Os‐N = 167.5 pm ( 1a ) and 164.2 pm ( 1b ) as well as Pd‐N = 196.2 pm and Pt‐N = 197.8 pm. The reaction of ReNCl2(PMe2Ph)3 with PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 in CH2Cl2 yields red crystals of the heterometallic complex [{(Me2PhP)3Cl2Re≡N}2PdCl2] ( 2 ). It crystallizes as 2 · 2 CH2Cl2 in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2138.3(5); b = 1260.9(3); c = 2375.6(2) pm; β = 96.09(1)° and Z = 4. In the threenuclear complex [{(Me2PhP)3Cl2Re≡N}2PdCl2] with the symmetry Ci the coordination of the Pd2+ cation of the central PdCl2 unit is completed by two nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd to complexes (Me2PhP)3Cl2Re≡N forming a square‐planar arrangement. The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 170.2 pm and Pd‐N = 197.1 pm.  相似文献

Thermal decomposition of Ni(II), Pd(II), and Pt(II) complexes of N-pyrimidin-2ylthiourea (AllPmTu) have been studied by TG, DTG, and DTA and by electron impact (EI) mass spectra. The complexes have the molecular formulae as [Ni(AllPmTu)Cl2(H2O)], [Ni(AllPmTu)2Cl2(H2O)2], and [M(AllPmTu)Cl2], where M = PdII or PtII, and [Pt(AllPmTu)2]. The TG curves show that Ni(II) complexes decompose in three stages to yield NiO as a residue, while Pd(II) and Pt(II) decompose in two stages to yield MS residues. The initial mass losses correspond to elimination of allylamine for Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes but, allyisothiocyanate for both Ni(II) complexes revealing that sulfur atom of thiourea part is involved in coordination to Pd(II) and Pt(II) but does not to Ni(II). Kinetic parameters (E #, n, ΔH #, ΔS #, ΔG #) of the decomposition stages are determined and correlated with bonding and structural properties of the complexes. The EI mass spectra of the complexes show fragments corresponding to the evolved and intermediate species.  相似文献

The reaction between 1,2-bis[3-(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-2-thiapropyl]benzene (bddf) and [MCl2(CH3CN)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) in a 1:1 M/L ratio in CH2Cl2 or acetonitrile solution, respectively, gave the complexes trans-[MCl2(bddf)] (M = Pd(II) (1), Pt(II) (4)), and in a 2:1 M/L ratio led to [M2Cl4(bddf)] (M = Pd(II) (2), Pt(II) (5)). Treatment of 1 and 4 with AgBF4 and NaBPh4, respectively, gave the compounds [Pd(bddf)](BF4)2 (3) and [Pt(bddf)](BPh4)2 (6). When complexes 3 and 6 were heated under reflux in a solution of Et4NBr in CH2Cl2/CH3OH (1:1) for 24 h, analogous complexes to 1 and 4 with bromides instead of chlorides bonded to the metallic centre were obtained. These complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared, 1H, 1H{195Pt}, 13C{1H}, 195Pt{1H} NMR, HSQC and NOESY spectroscopies. The X-ray crystal structure of the complex [Pd(bddf)](BF4)2 · H2O has been determined. The metal atom is tetracoordinated by the two azine nitrogen atoms of the pyrazole rings and two thioether groups.  相似文献

New complexes of type [M(tbg)2]Cl2 [tbg = 1-(o-tolyl)biguanide; M = Ni(II), Pd(II), and Pt(II)] were synthesized and characterized to develop new biologically active compounds. The features of the complexes were assigned from microanalytical and thermal data. The NMR, FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectra were established by comparison with HtbgCl. All complexes exhibit a square-planar geometry resulting from the chelating behavior of tbg. The HtbgCl and [Ni(tbg)2]Cl2 complexes were fully characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The HtbgCl species crystallize in the monoclinic C2/c spatial group, while the Ni(II) complex adopts an orthorhombic Pna21 spatial group. The structure is stabilized by a complex hydrogen bonds network. The in vitro antimicrobial assays revealed improved antimicrobial activity for complexes in comparison with the ligand against both planktonic and biofilm embedded microbial cells. The most efficient compound, showing the largest spectrum of antimicrobial activity, including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungal strains, in both planktonic and biofilm growth states was the Pd(II) complex, followed by the Pt(II) complex. The Pt(II) compound exhibited the most significant antiproliferative activity on the human cervical cancer SiHa cell line, inducing a cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase.  相似文献

The Fourier transform Raman spectra of solid samples and some D2O solutions, of complexes of formula KnMX4, M = Pt(II), Pd(II), and Au(III); X = Cl and Br are reported. It was found that the spectra of the tetrabromides contain more bands than the corresponding tetrachlorides; this indication that the two halides have different crystal structures is discussed. Fourier transform Raman spectra of M(NH3)4Cl2 M = Pt(II), and Pd(II), trans- and cis-Pt(NH3)2Cl2 (i.e. the pharmaceutical product “cis-platin”), and trans-Pd(NH3)2X2, X = Cl and Br are also reported here and the significance of the spectra discussed. Although many of these spectra have been reported earlier the quality of the new Fourier transform data is superior to that in the literature.  相似文献

Abstract

The water-soluble bisphosphines, 1,2-bis(bis(hydroxymethyl)phosphino)benzene (“HMPB”) (1) and 1,2-bis(bis(hydroxymethyl)phosphino)ethane (“HMPE”) (2) were synthesized in near quantitative yields by the catalytic hydroformylation of H2PC6H4PH2 and H2PCH2CH2PH2 in the presence of formaldehyde in aqueous media.1.2 The reactions of these chelating bisphosphines 1 and 2 with Pt(COD)Cl2 and Pd(PhCN)2Cl2 produced water-soluble Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes M[(HOH2C)2PC6H4P(CH2OH)2]2Cl2 (M = Pt, 3; Pd, 4) and M[(HOH2C)2PCH2CH2P(CH2OH)2]2Cl2 (M = Pt, 5; Pd, 6) respectively. The reactions of 1 and 2 with Re(O2)I(Ph3)2 and Re(O)2(NHC5H5)4]Cl to produce new water-soluble Re(V) complexes are also described. All the new compounds were characterized by 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy. X-ray structures of representative Pd(II) and Re(V) complexes as shown below confirmed the chemical constitution of this new generation of water-soluble metal complexes.  相似文献

Tetracloro-o-benzoquinone reacts with (diphenylacetylene)bis(tirphenylphosphine)platinum(0) to give the novel platinum(II) diphenylacetylene complex, Pt(C6Cl4O2)PhCCPh)(PPh3), (I), which reacts with hydrogen halides to give the compelexes cis-PtX2(PhCCPh((PPh3), (X = Cl or Br). Hydrogen chloride also readily removes the tetrachloro-o-benzoquinoneligand from the adducts Ni(C6Cl4O2)(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) and M(C6Cl4O2)(PPh3)2, (M = Pd or Pt) but it has no reaction upon Ir(Cl)(C6Cl4O2)(CO)(PPh3)2 at room temperature. The acetylene in (1) is susceptible to nucleophilic attact and reaction with diethylamine gives the vinyl adduct Pt(C6Cl4O2)(CPhCPh)NHEt2)(PPh3). Other reactions of (I) have also been studied. Attemps to prepare other olefin or acetylene complexes of platinum(II) by the action of tetrachlor-o-benzoquinone on the complexes Pt(L)(PPh3)2, (L = PhCCH,(Et)(Me)(HO)CCCC(OH)(Me)(Et), HOCH2OH, CF3CCCF3, CF2CF2, CF2CH2 or trans-PhCHCHPh) are also described.  相似文献
