本文以加补充项的富里哀—贝塞尔双重级数的位移模式,对扇形弹性薄板在各种边界件条下的弯曲和振动问题,提出了一种应用范围比较广的、便于计算的、解析形式的解法.作为算例,文中给出了各种角度的径向边界简支或固定的扇形板在均布荷载或集中荷载作用下产生的挠度和弯矩的分布曲线,并与有关文献的数值结果进行了比较.本文推广了加补充项的富氏级数法的应用范围,并计算出各种角度的径向边界简支的扇形板的自振频率和节线的图表.  相似文献

The present study is concerned with the free vibration analysis of a horizontal rectangular plate, either immersed in fluid or floating on its free surface. The governing equations for a moderately thick rectangular plate are analytically derived based on the Mindlin plate theory (MPT), whereas the velocity potential function and Bernoulli’s equation are employed to obtain the fluid pressure applied on the free surface of the plate. The simplifying hypothesis that the wet and dry mode shapes are the same, is not assumed in this paper. In this work, an exact-closed form characteristics equation is used for the plate subjected to a combination of six different boundary conditions. Two opposite sides are simply supported and any of the other two edges can be free, simply supported or clamped. To demonstrate the accuracy of the present analytical solution, a comparison is made with the published experimental and numerical results in the literature, showing an excellent agreement. Then, natural frequencies of the plate are presented in tabular and graphical forms for different fluid levels, fluid densities, aspect ratios, thickness to length ratios and boundary conditions. Finally, some 3-D mode shapes of the rectangular Mindlin plates in contact with fluid are illustrated.  相似文献

The problem of the bending of a Kirchhoff-Love plate in the shape of a strip under the impression of a thin linear rigid inclusion fastened at one of the edges of the plate when the other edge of the plate is rigidly clamped is considered. The problem is reduced by a Fourier integral transform to the solution of a convolution-type integral equation of the first kind in a finite segment with a regular kernel. The exact inversion of the principal part of the corresponding integral operator is constructed in the class of functions with non-integrable singularities on the segment edges. An effective asymptotic solution is given for the integral equation under investigation in this class of functions in the whole range of variation of the characteristic parameter λ. The results obtained are verified numerically. Analogous integral equations were examined in /1, 2/. The mode of investigation is similar to that proposed in /3/.  相似文献

The symplectic geometry approach is introduced for accurate bending analysis of rectangular thin plates with two adjacent edges free and the others clamped or simply supported. The basic equations for rectangular plates are first transferred into Hamilton canonical equations. Using the symplectic approach, the analytic solution of rectangular thin plate with two adjacent edges simply supported and the others slidingly supported is derived. Accurate bending solutions of title problems are then obtained using the superposition method. The approach used in this paper eliminates the need to pre-determine the deformation function and is hence more reasonable than conventional methods. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the approach as compared with those reported in other literatures.  相似文献

We solve the problem of the bending of a semi-infinite cantilevered plate containing a cut perpendicular to a clamped edge. Contact of the edges of the cut is taken into account in the two-dimensional formulation on the basis of the model of contacting edges on the face of the plate. We study the effect of the boundary on the distribution of the contact reaction and compute the coefficients of force and moment intensity and determine the breakinge load. We compare the results obtained with the solution of the problem not taking account of the contact of the edges of the cut. The present study deals with the bending of rectangular orthotropic thin plates with rotationally restrained edges under arbitrary transverse loads. The finite integral transform method is herein applied to obtain exact analytical solution. Unlike the conventional superposition method, the proposed method is simple and straightforward with more accurate results. In order to reflect the relative stiffness of the plate and the rotational elastic restraints, a new rotational fixity factor is introduced to define elastic restraints against rotation along edges and a general boundary condition will be presented. Simply supported or clamped edges turn out to be particular, limiting situations. The effect of rotational restraints, load distributions and aspect ratios on plate bending is investigated by comprehensive numerical results. The accuracy and convergence of the present formulation are assessed by comparing with previously reported results. Excellent agreements are reached and some new results are provided for further comparison by other methods.  相似文献

The method of matched asymptotic expansions is used to find a homogenized problem whose solution is an approximation to the solution of a mixed periodic boundary value problem in the theory of bending of thin elastic plates. A critical size for the fixed parts of the boundary is found such that the boundary condition of the homogenized problem is an intermediate case between that for the clamped edge plate and that for the free boundary plate.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the behavior of the vibration modes (eigenvalues) of an isotropic homogeneous plate as its thickness tends to zero. As lateral boundary conditions, we consider clamped or free edge. We prove distinct asymptotics for bending and membrane modes: the smallest bending eigenvalues behave as the square of the thickness whereas the membrane eigenvalues tend to non-zero limits. Moreover, we prove that all these eigenvalues have an expansion in power series with respect to the thickness regardless of their multiplicities or of the multiplicities of the limit in-plane problems.  相似文献

This paper presents a method for coupling isoparametric cubic quadrilateral h-elements and straight sided serendipity quadrilateral p-elements. The p-elements are used to model the interior of the domain while the h-elements are used to describe accurately the curved boundaries. At a common side shared by a p-element and an arbitrary number of h-elements, the field variables are minimized in the least square sense with respect to the degrees-of-freedom of the h-elements. This leads to a set of equations which relate the degrees-of-freedom of the coupled elements on the shared side. The method is applied to the calculation of frequencies for plates with curvilinear plan-forms. The effects of shear deformation and rotary inertia are taken into account. The frequencies are obtained for a sectorial plate with simply supported radial edges and free circular edge, an annular sectorial plate with simply supported radial edges and clamped circular edges, and a circular plate with one concentric ring support. Furthermore, new accurate frequencies are given for a fully clamped square plate with a corner cut-out. Constant meshes are used and convergence is sought by increasing progressively the degree p of the interpolating polynomial. The fast convergence and high accuracy of the method are validated through convergence and comparison studies.  相似文献

The Bubnov-Galerkin method is used to solve the problem of the bending of a clamped flexible orthotropic plate. An equation relating the deflection and the load is obtained. An experiment on a plate made of polyester plastic reinforced with satin-weave glass fabric is described. It is shown that within certain limits the deflections at the center of the plate and the combined stresses along the clamped edges are in good agreement with the theoretical values. A flat plate of finite width and infinite length lies on thesurface of a body of deep water and vibrates in such a way thatthe velocity distribution over the dock varies smoothly acrossits width and is simple harmonic in time. The amplitudes ofthe wave-trains radiated towards infinity are investigated inthe limit of waves having length small compared with the widthof the dock, by means of a formula expressing the wave amplitudein terms of a Green's function evaluated over the dock. Thisfunction is estimated in the short wave limit by an asymptoticapproximation which is uniformly valid over the dock exceptclose to the edges. Suitable edge corrections are presented,these being essentially the potentials in the correspondingproblems for docks of semi-infinite width. By this means itis found possible to derive the first two or three terms inan asymptotic development for the wave amplitudes, the firstterm agreeing with previous work, and the next term dependingon the nature of the velocity distribution V(x) near the edgesx = ±a. Explicit results are given for the cases whenV(x) is analytic, and when V(x) = O(ax) near the edgex = a.  相似文献
