The paper is devoted to a symbol calculus, Fredholm criteria and an index formula for the operators in the algebra and its matrix analogue . We continue the study of algebras generated by the Cauchy singular integral operator and integral operators with fixed singularities on the unit interval, started in R.Duduchava, E.Shargorodsky, 1990. Such algebras emerge when one considers singular integral operators with complex conjugation on curves with cusps. As one of possible applications of the obtained results we find an explicit formula for the local norms of the Cauchy singular integral operator on the Lebesgue spaceL 2 (, ), where is a curve with cusps of arbitrary order and is a power weight. For curves with angles and cusps of order 1 the formula was already known (see R.Avedanio, N.Krupnik, 1988 and R.Duduchava, N.Krupnik, 1995). We develop a constructive framework to define difference approximations of Dirac operators which factorize the discrete Laplacian. This resulting notion of discrete monogenic functions is compared with the notion of discrete holomorphic functions on quad-graphs. We establish the basis of a discrete function theory starting with a Fischer decomposition for difference Dirac operators. Discrete versions of homogeneous polynomials, Euler and Gamma operators are obtained. As a consequence we obtain a Fischer decomposition for the discrete Laplacian.  相似文献

In this paper we develop a theory of parabolic pseudodifferential operators in anisotropic spaces. We construct a symbolic calculus for a class of symbols globally defined on n+1× n+1, and then develop a periodisation procedure for the calculus of symbols on the cylinder ×. We show Gårding's inequality for suitable operators and precise estimates for the essential norm in anisotropic Sobolev spaces. These new mapping properties are needed in localization arguments for the analysis of numerical approximation methods.  相似文献

We determine the essential spectrum of the linearized Navier-Stokes operator with physical boundary conditions. In contrast to other approaches we do not make use of pseudo-differential operators. We describe the Fredholm symbol algebra for theC *-algebra generated by two dimensional singular integral operators, acting onL 2(2), and whose symbols admit homogeneous discontinuities. Locally these discontinuities are modeled by homogeneous functions having slowly oscillating (and, in particular, piecewise continuous) discontinuities on a system of rays outgoing from the origin.These results extend the well-known Plamenevsky results for the two dimensional case. The main objective is the study of a class of boundary value problems in weak formulation where two boundary conditions are given on the half-lines bordering the first quadrant that contain impedance data and oblique derivatives. The associated operators are reduced by matricial coupling relations to certain boundary pseudodifferential operators which can be analyzed in detail. Results are: Fredholm criteria, explicit construction of generalized inverses in Bessel potential spaces, eventually after normalization, and regularity results. Particular interest is devoted to the impedance problem and to the oblique derivative problem, as well.  相似文献

We study localization operators within the framework of ultradistributions. More precisely, given a symbol a and two windows φ1, φ2, we investigate the multilinear mapping from to the localization operator Results are formulated in terms of modulation spaces with weights which may have exponential growth. We give sufficient and necessary conditions for a to be bounded or to belong to a Schatten class. As an application, we study symbols defined by ultra-distributions with compact support, that give trace class localization operators.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to study a nonlinear system modeling a Non-Newtonian fluid of polymer aqueous solutions. We are interested here in the existence of weak solutions for the stationary problem in a bounded plane domain or in two-dimensional exterior domain. Due to the third order of derivatives in the non-linear term, it’s difficult to obtain solutions satisfying energy inequality. But with a good choice of boundary conditions, an adapted special basis and the use of the good properties of the trilinear form associated to the non-linear term, we obtain energy solutions. The problem in bounded domains is treated and the more difficult problem on non bounded domains too.  相似文献

We prove general theorems on mean ergodicity and mean stability of regularized solution families with respect to fairly general summability methods. They can be applied to integrated solution families, integrated semigroups and cosine functions. In particular, through applications with modified Cesàro, Abel, Gauss, and Gamma like summability methods we deduce particular results on mean ergodicity and mean stability of polynomially bounded C0-semigroups and cosine operator functions.  相似文献

Let G be a locally compact group. We show that its Fourier algebra A(G) is amenable if and only if G has an abelian subgroup of finite index, and that its Fourier–Stieltjes algebra B(G) is amenable if and only if G has a compact, abelian subgroup of finite index. For a contraction operator T with spectral radius less than one on a Banach space , it is shown that the factorization of certain L1 functions by vectors x in and x*. in , in the sense that for n ≧ 0, implies the existence of invariant subspaces for T. Explicit formulae for such factorizations are given in the case of weighted composition operators on reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces.
