Two new spirostane glycosides, chamaedrosides C (1) and C1 (2), two new furostane glycosides, chamaedrosides E (4) and E1 (5), and two new furospirostane glycosides, chamaedrosides C2 (3) and E2 (6), have been isolated from Veronica chamaedrys L. plants. Their structures were determined on the basis of chemical evidence and extensive spectroscopic methods, including 1D- and 2D-NMR experiments, as well as MS analysis. Compounds in which quadruply bonded Mo(2)(4+) units, Mo(2)(DAniF)(3) (DAniF = N,N'-di-p-anisylformamidinate), are linked by cyclic diamidate anions have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography and spectroscopic methods. As identified by the diamidate linker, these compounds are 4,6-dioxypyrimidinate (2), 2,3-dioxypyrazinate (3), 2,3-dioxyquinoxalinate (4), 2,3-dioxy-5,6-dicyanopyrazinate (5), and cyanurate (6). With uracilate, a dinuclear unlinked 1:1 adduct is formed, Mo(2)(DAniF)(3)(uracilate) (1). The cyclic voltammograms of 3-5 reveal significantly larger DeltaE(1/2) values (258 mV-308 mV) than that of the oxalate linked analogue (212 mV), which is indicative of greater charge delocalization in the mixed valent Mo(2)(4+)/Mo(2)(5+) species and hence greater communication between the two Mo(2) units. DeltaE(1/2) for 2 is substantially lower than those for 3-5. This difference is attributed to the meta disposition of the two amidate groups in 4,6-dioxypyrimidinate as compared to their ortho arrangement in the pyrazinate-type linkers. The absorption spectra of the linked compounds 3-5 are more complex than those of the analogous polyunsaturated dicarboxylate linked compounds and reveal at least two significant absorption bands within the region 420-550 nm. Compound 2 also has two bands but with significantly lower intensity. Time dependent DFT calculations upon 2 and 3 indicate rather different electronic structures for these two structural isomers. The two bands for 3 have delta --> pi character, and the pi type orbitals have substantial contributions from the Mo(2) units as well as from the diamidate linker. The excitations observed in 2 are mainly metal based. The differences between the electronic spectra of 2 and 3 are consistent with the electrochemistry in underscoring the profound physical effect of changing the symmetry of the diamidate linker.  相似文献

In the present investigation, we describe some novel calixarene based heterocyclic compounds (5a-5i) in which 1,3,4-oxadiazole and 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives have been coupled with 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,27-bis(chlorocarbonyl-methoxy)-26,28-dihydroxy calix[4]arene. All the newly synthesized calixarene based heterocyclic compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis and various spectroscopic methods like FTIR, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, and FAB-MS. All the final scaffolds have been subjected to antioxidant activity, in vitro antimicrobial screening against two gram (+ve) bacteria (S. aureus, S. pyogenes), two gram (-ve) bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa) and two fungal strains (C. albicans, A. clavatus) and also have been screened for their antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H(37)Rv.  相似文献

The reaction of [NiBr(2)(bpy)(2)] (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) with organic phosphinic acids ArP(O)(OH)H [Ar = Ph, 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl (Mes), 9-anthryl (Ant)] leads to the formation of binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bridging ArP(H)O(2)(-) ligands. Crystal structures of the binuclear complexes [Ni(2)(μ-O(2)P(H)Ar)(2)(bpy)(4)]Br(2) (Ar = Ph, Mes, Ant) have been determined. In each structure, the metal ions have distorted octahedral coordination and are doubly bridged by two arylphosphinato ligands. Magnetic susceptibility measurements have shown that these complexes display strong antiferromagnetic coupling between the two nickel atoms at low temperatures, apparently similar to binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bridging carboxylato ligands. Cyclic voltammetry and in situ EPR spectroelectrochemistry show that these complexes can be electrochemically reduced and oxidized with the formation of Ni(I),Ni(0)/Ni(III) derivatives.  相似文献

Experimentally determined or ab initio calculated molecular geometries carry no information about their origin. Employing the Jahn-Teller (JT) vibronic coupling effects as the only source of instability and consequent distortions of high-symmetry molecular configurations, we have worked out a procedure that allows us to trace the origin of particular geometries and determine the detailed electronic mechanism of their formation. This procedure is illustrated by considering a series of X(4) clusters with X=Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, and S. It shows explicitly why Na(4), Si(4), and Al(4) have a rhombic geometry in the ground state, while Mg(4) and P(4) are tetrahedral, whereas S(4) is a trapezium. Even when the minimum-energy geometries are the same (as in the case of rhombic Na(4), Si(4), and Al(4)), the electronic mechanism of their formation is quite different. In particular, in Na(4) and Si(4) the rhombic minima are produced by a strong pseudo JT coupling between two excited states in the square-planar configuration (different in the two cases) that stabilizes one of them and makes it the ground state by rhombic distortions. The rhombic configuration of Al(4) is due to the pseudo JT effect in its ground-state square-planar configuration, and the trapezium in S(4) is formed by two pseudo JT couplings essentially involving excited states. In several cases this analysis shows also the tunneling paths between equivalent configurations.  相似文献

Condensation of 4-hydroxy-3-formylcoumarin with 4-aminobenzyl(triphenyl)phosphonium bromide has led to the formation of a phosphonium salt existing in DMSO solution as a mixture of two enamine forms, Z and E, according to NMR spectroscopy and quantum-chemical simulations data. Basing on the obtained salt, the ML2 metal chelates of zinc(II), copper(II), and nickel(II) have been synthesized. Luminescence properties of the ligand and its complex with zinc have been studied.

In the present work, the molecular structures of two new synthesized dyes:(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-ylamino)(5-p-tolylisoxazol-3-yl)methanol(PS-1) and N-(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)-5-phenylisoxazole-3-carboxamide(PS-2), have been investigated using density functional theory(DFT) in dimethylformamide(DMF) for the first time. The electronic spectra of new dyes in a DMF solvent were carried out by time dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) method. After quantum-chemical calculations two new dyes for the optoelectronic applications were synthesized. FT-IR spectra of the title compounds are recorded and discussed. NucleusIndependent Chemical Shifts(NICS) calculations have also been carried out for the title compounds. The computed absorption spectral data of the title compounds are in good agreement with the experimental data, thus allowing an assignment of the UV spectra. The HOMO and LUMO molecular orbitals, excitation energies and oscillator strengths for the dyes have also been calculated and presented.  相似文献

Two novel species, trichloromethanesulfenyl acetate, CCl(3)SOC(O)CH(3), and trichloromethanesulfenyl trifluoroacetate, CCl(3)SOC(O)CF(3), have been generated in situ by the heterogeneous reactions between trichloromethanesulfenyl chloride, CCl(3)SCl, and corresponding silver salts, silver acetate (AgOC(O)CH(3)) and silver trifluoroacetate (AgOC(O)CF(3)), respectively. Photoelectron spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations are performed to investigate these two molecules, together with their precursor, CCl(3)SCl. Both of these two compounds may exist in the gas phase as a mixture of gauche and trans conformations. As for the dihedral angles delta(RSOR') of the gauche conformers, 107.0 degrees and 108.5 degrees are derived by theoretical calculations (at the B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) level) for CCl(3)SOC(O)CH(3) and CCl(3)SOC(O)CF(3), respectively. The first vertical ionization energies of CCl(3)SOC(O)CH(3) and CCl(3)SOC(O)CF(3), which have been determined by photoelectron spectroscopy, are 9.67 and 10.34 eV, respectively. According to the experimental results and theoretical analysis, the first ionization energy of these two molecules both come from the ionization of the lone pair electron of S atom.  相似文献

The microwave spectra of (methylamino)thiophosphoryl difluoride, CH(3)NHP(=S)F(2), and two deuterated species, CH(3)NDP(=S)F(2) and CD(3)NHP(=S)F(2), have been investigated in the region from 26.5 to 39.0 GHz. The rotational constants of the ground vibrational state have been determined and have been shown to be only consistent with the trans conformer (CH(3) group antiperiplanar to the P=S bond) with C(s) symmetry. The a-type R branch transitions have been assigned for the trans conformer for the three isotopomers on the basis of the rigid rotor model. Near-trans and near-cis forms without molecular planes of symmetry are predicted by all ab initio calculations with the near-trans form being more stable. However, the double-well potentials governing the interchange between the two enantiomeric near-trans as well as the two near-cis forms are too shallow to accommodate the zero-point energies of the nu(24) asymmetric torsion. Thus, the trans conformation with C(s) symmetry may be more accurate in explaining the microwave experimental data. The "adjusted" r(0) structural parameters have been obtained by systematically adjusting the ab initio MP2(full)/6-311+G(d,p) structure of the trans conformer with C(s) symmetry to fit the microwave rotational constants. The determined heavy atom distances are r(C-N) = 1.459(5), r(P-N) = 1.621(5), r(P=S) = 1.879(5), and r(P-F) = 1.550(5) A, and the heavy atom angles are angleCNP = 124.7(5) degrees , angleNPS = 118.3(5) degrees , angleNPF = 103.2(5) degrees , angleFPS = 117.0(5) degrees , and angleFPF = 94.6(5) degrees . The adjusted r(0) parameters have also been obtained for aminodifluorophosphine, H(2)NPF(2), with a slightly pyramidal -PNH(2) moiety. The results indicate that the previously reported short distance of 0.981(5) A for the N-H(o)(outer) bond from the microwave study is too short, and the adjusted r(0) value of 1.007(3) A is obtained from the combined data. Adjusted r(0) parameters are also reported for (dimethylamino)difluorophosphine, (CH(3))(2)NPF(2), with C(s) symmetry with the PNC(2) portion of the molecule being planar. The previously reported C-H distances from the electron diffraction study are too long, and the anglePNC(i) and angleC(o)NC(i) angles are also found to be in error. These results provide a reasonable explanation why the microwave and electron diffraction results differ for the structures of these latter two molecules.  相似文献

In this work, two selectively deuterium-labeled isotopomers of the (S)-2-methylbutyl- [4'-(4' '-heptyloxyphenyl)-benzoyl-4-oxy-(S)-2-((S)-2')-benzoyl)-propionyl)]-propionate (ZLL 7/), one labeled on the phenyl ring (ZLL 7/-phe-D2) and the other one on the biphenyl fragment (ZLL 7/-biphe-D2), have been investigated by deuterium NMR (DNMR) spectroscopy and other experimental techniques. These compounds possess the paraelectric SmA, the ferroelectric SmC, the antiferroelectric SmC(A), the re-entrant ferroelectric SmC(re), and the ferroelectric hexatic phases down to room temperature. The orientational ordering properties of the two labeled fragments have been determined by means of DNMR, and the mesophase behavior at two magnetic fields is discussed. In particular, the effect of the magnetic field on the supramolecular structure of the SmC and SmC(re) phases is commented. This study revealed to be useful to understand the structural and conformational properties of the ferroelectric/antiferroelectric/re-entrant/hexatic smectic phases. Mesomorphic properties, spontaneous tilt angle, polarization, and layer spacing have been studied for the labeled materials and compared with those obtained for the nonlabeled compound. The two self-consistent set of data, from optical and DNMR measurements and X-ray results, allow us to associate at the transition from the SmC to the SmC(A) phase a change of the molecular conformation.  相似文献

Seven isomorphous 1D chain Ln3+ complexes Ln(BTA)(HCOO)(H2O)3 (Ln = Pr (1), Gd (2), Eu (3), Tb (4) Dy (5), Er (6) and Yb (7)), and two formate coordinating and bridging 3D Ln3+ complexes Ln(HCOO)3 (Ln = Pr (8) and Nd (9)) have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Although the Ln3+ ions in 1-7 have different radius, the trivalent lanthanide ions in 1-7 show the same coordinated environment. The well-defined single crystal structures of 8 and 9 are first samples for formate-bridged Ln3+ metallic complexes. The luminescent properties of solid samples of 2-5 at room temperature and the magnetic property of 2 have been also reported and discussed in this paper.  相似文献

A series of metal complexes were synthesized from equimolar amounts of Schiff bases: 1,4-bis[3-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldimine)propyl]piperazine (bappnaf) and 1,8-bis[3-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldimine)-p-menthane (damnaf) with metal chlorides. All of synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, spectral (UV-vis, IR, (1)H-(13)C NMR, LC-MS) and thermal (TGA-DTA) methods, magnetic and conductance measurements. Schiff base complexes supposed in tetragonal geometry have the general formula [M(bappnaf or damnaf)]Cl.nH(2)O, where M=Cr(III), Co(III) and n=2, 3. But also Fe(III) complexes have octahedral geometry by the coordination of two water molecules and the formula is [Fe(bappnaf or damnaf)(H(2)O)(2)]Cl. The changes in the selected vibration bands in FT-IR indicate that Schiff bases behave as (ONNO) tetradentate ligands and coordinate to metal ions from two phenolic oxygen atoms and two azomethine nitrogen atoms. Conductance measurements suggest 1:1 electrolytic nature of the metal complexes. The synthesized compounds except bappnaf ligand have the antimicrobial activity against the bacteria: Escherichia coli (ATCC 11230), Yersinia enterocolitica (ATCC 1501), Bacillus magaterium (RSKK 5117), Bacillus subtilis (RSKK 244), Bacillus cereus (RSKK 863) and the fungi: Candida albicans (ATCC 10239). These results have been considerably interest in piperazine derivatives due to their significant applications in antimicrobial studies.  相似文献

Low-temperature and NOE NMR spectra of four of the title compounds indicate that they adopt a synclinal (sc) conformation, in agreement with the prediction of ab initio computations. In the case of the most-hindered derivative (compound 4), the conformation is syn-periplanar (sp), as is also shown by X-ray diffraction. Such stereolabile sp- or sc-atropisomers exist as two conformational enantiomers: the corresponding enantiomerization barriers, covering the range 6.6 to 9.7 kcal mol(-1), could be measured for all the examined compounds. In two cases (compounds 3 and 5), the minor antiperiplanar (ap) atropisomer has been also observed, and the sc to ap interconversion barrier measured (11.7 and 11.9 kcal mol(-1), respectively). In addition, restricted rotation of the isopropyl and tert-butyl substituents has been detected, and the corresponding barriers have been determined.  相似文献

Stark widths and shifts of neutral and ionized heavy atom spectral lines have been measured and calculated. The Stark parameters of three SnI (284.0, 286.3 and 303.4 nm), five HgII (226.2, 398.4, 222.5, 615.0 and 326.4 nm), two PbII (220.4 and 438.6 nm) and one HgIII (235.4 nm) spectral lines were measured for the first time except the Stark widths of one HgII (398.4 nm) and one PbII (438.6 nm) line. Stark width values for a number of corresponding transitions were calculated on the bases of semiclassical and semiempirical formulae.  相似文献

On the basis of the CASPT2 (multiconfigurational second-order perturbation theory) geometry optimization calculations, the ground states of the o-C(6)H(4)(+) (C(2v)), m-C(6)H(4)(+) (C(2v)), and p-C(6)H(4)(+) (D(2h)) radical cations were determined to be 1 (2)B(1), 1 (2)A(2), and 1 (2)B(1u), respectively. For o-C(6)H(4)(+) and m-C(6)H(4)(+), the first excited states (1 (2)A(2) and 1 (2)A(1), respectively) lie very close to the respective ground states. The small distance value of 1.419 A between the two dehydrocarbons in the ground-state geometry of m-C(6)H(4)(+) indicates that there is a real chemical bond between the two dehydrocarbons (the distance in the 1 (2)A(1) geometry of m-C(6)H(4)(+) is very long as in the m-C(6)H(4) molecule). The (U)B3LYP isotropic proton hfcc (hyperfine coupling constant) calculation results imply that the ground and first excited states of o-C(6)H(4)(+) will have similar ESR spectrum patterns while the ground and first excited states of m-C(6)H(4)(+) will have completely different ESR spectrum patterns.  相似文献

A series of ternary Zintl phases, Ca(2)CdP(2), Ca(2)CdAs(2), Sr(2)CdAs(2), Ba(2)CdAs(2), and Eu(2)CdAs(2), have been synthesized through high temperature metal flux reactions, and their structures have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. They belong to the Yb(2)CdSb(2) structure type and crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Cmc2(1) (No. 36, Z = 4) with cell dimensions of a = 4.2066(5), 4.3163(5), 4.4459(7), 4.5922(5), 4.4418(9) ?; b = 16.120(2), 16.5063(19), 16.904(3), 17.4047(18), 16.847(4) ?; c = 7.0639(9), 7.1418(8), 7.5885(11), 8.0526(8), 7.4985(16) ? for Ca(2)CdP(2) (R1 = 0.0152, wR2 = 0.0278), Ca(2)CdAs(2) (R1 = 0.0165, wR2 = 0.0290), Sr(2)CdAs(2) (R1 = 0.0238, wR2 = 0.0404), Ba(2)CdAs(2) (R1 = 0.0184, wR2 = 0.0361), and Eu(2)CdAs(2) (R1 = 0.0203, wR2 = 0.0404), respectively. Among these, Ca(2)CdAs(2) was found to form with another closely related structure, depending on the experimental conditions--monoclinic space group Cm (No. 8, Z = 10) with lattice constants a = 21.5152(3) ?, b = 4.30050(10) ?, c = 14.3761(2) ? and β = 110.0170(10)° (R1 = 0.0461, wR2 = 0.0747). UV/vis optical absorption spectra for both forms of Ca(2)CdAs(2) show band gaps on the order of 1.0 eV, suggesting semiconducting properties, which have also been confirmed through electronic band structure calculations based on the density-functional theory. Results from differential scanning calorimetry measurements probing the thermal stability and phase transitions in the two Ca(2)CdAs(2) polymorphs are discussed. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for Eu(2)CdAs(2), indicating divalent Eu(2+) cations, are presented as well.  相似文献

The platinum mixed-phosphine complexes (SP-4,2)-[PtCl(8-MTT)(PPh3)(PTA)] (2) and cis-[Pt(8-MTT)2(PPh3)(PTA)] (3) (MTTH2 = 8-(methylthio)theophylline, PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane) have been prepared from the precursor cis-[PtCl2(PPh3)(PTA)] (1), which has been fully characterized by X-ray diffraction determination. Antiproliferative activity tests indicated that the presence of one lipophilic PPh3 and one hydrophilic PTA makes 1-3 more active than the analogues bearing two PPh3 or two PTA. The reactivity of cis-[PtCl2(PPh3)2], cis-[PtCl2(PTA)2], and cis-[PtCl2(PPh3)(PTA)] with the bis(thiopurines) bis(S-8-thiotheophylline)methane (MBTTH2), 1,2-bis(S-8-thiotheophylline)ethane (EBTTH2), and 1,3-bis(S-8-thiotheophylline)propane (PBTTH2) has also been investigated. New binuclear complexes have been prepared and identified by spectroscopic techniques and their antiproliferative activities on T2 and SKOV3 cell lines evaluated.  相似文献

Four dinuclear and trinuclear Cu(I) complexes that contain 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl derivative ligands including 1,4-bis[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]benzene (1,4-bmb), 1,3-bis[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]benzene (1,3-bmb), 1,3,5-tris[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]benzene (tmb), and 4,4'-bis[2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl]biphenyl (bmbp) have been synthesized. The formulas of these complexes are [Cu(2)(1,4-bmb)(PPh(3))(4)][BF(4)](2) (1), [Cu(2)(1,3-bmb)(PPh(3))(4)][BF(4)](2) (2), [Cu(3)(tmb)(PPh(3))(6)][BF(4)](3) (3), and [Cu(2)(bmbp)(PPh(3))(4)][BF(4)](2) (4), respectively. The crystal structures of 2-4 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The Cu(I) ions in the complexes have a distorted tetrahedral geometry. For 3, two structural isomers (syn and anti) resulted from two different orientations of the three 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolyl chelating units were observed in the crystal lattice. Variable-temperature (1)H NMR experiments established the presence of syn and anti isomers for 1-3 in solution which interconvert at ambient temperature. Complexes 1-4 have a weak MLCT absorption band in the 350-450 nm region and display a yellow-orange emission when irradiated by UV light. One unexpected finding is that the yellow-orange emission of complexes 1-4 has a very long decay lifetime (approximately 200 micros) at 77 K. An electroluminescent (EL) device using 4 as the emitter and PVK as the host was fabricated. However, the long decay lifetime of the copper complexes may limit their applications as phosphorescent emitters in EL devices.  相似文献
