The synthesis of high temperature superconducting phases in the NbGe, NbSn, VSi, VGe, VSn, NbC and MoC systems is described by method consisting in the thermolysis of volatile hydrides or organometallic compounds on resistively heated wires. For face-centred cubic NbC a higher transition temperature than previously reported was obtained. The A15 phase boundary of NbGe is extended towards the stoichiometric 3:1 composition, affording samples of Nb3 Ge with a Tc onset of 15.8°K. 相似文献

We studied the conductivity and superconducting transition temperature Tc of SnAr films. The films were prepared by condensing the SnAr mixture on a sapphire substrate held at 5 K. A plot of the conductivity as a function of Sn concentration shows a metal-insulator transition which agrees with a percolation model consisting of Sn clusters embedded in solid Ar. A drop of Tc is observed below the percolation threshold. 相似文献

Amorphous TiFe, ZrFe and HfFe alloys prepared by low temperature implantation of about 10 at% Fe were found to have superconducting transition temperatures, Tc, enhanced above the values of the pure crystalline elements. In addition, Tc = 2.6 K for TiFe is about 1 K higher than Tc of the equivalent amorphous TiCu alloy. A correlation between the recently observed dband behavior of similar binary transition metal alloys and the forming ability is extended to (Ti,Zr,Hf)-Fe alloys to explain their superconducting properties. 相似文献

The superconducting transition temperatures (Tc) and magnetic susceptibilities of amorphous Zr100?xNix alloys have been measured. Tc decreases linearly with increasing x. The results are compared to those for amorphous ZrPd and ZrCu alloys and discussed in terms of changes in the electron to atom ratio on alloying. 相似文献

We present the results of a study of the crystalline structure of the high-temperature superconducting (above 110K) phase in the single-phase ceramic compounds YBaCuO. We have concluded that the crystal symmetry of this HTS phase with chemical composition Y1.2Ba0.8CuO4−δ is orthorhombic type with crystallographic lattice constants a=0.3815 nm, b=0.3457 nm, c=2.650 nm. 相似文献

The effect of short-term low-temperature annealing in air and in vacuum on the properties of HTSC films of YBCO is studied. It is shown that, under certain conditions of preparation of initial samples, a transition from the HTSC phase with the superconducting transition temperature Tc=90 K to a phase with Tc=60 K occurs without a noticeable change in the oxygen content. It is found that, as a result of short-term annealings, a transition from the HTSC phase with Tc=60 K to the phase with Tc=90 K can occur only through the vacuum annealing stage, which converts the sample into the superconducting state. Short-term annealings lead to multiple reversible “switching” of the films from one phase to another. The obtained results are of practical interest, since the proposed method can be used to quickly obtain superconducting YBCO films in various phase states. It is shown, in addition, that the annealing procedure makes it possible not only to increase the oxygen concentration but also to produce a structural rearrangement of a YBCO film. 相似文献

Bulk superconducting La2CuO4+δ single crystals are obtained by using electrochemical intercalation technique from the as-grown insulating samples. Oxidation is carried out by constant current I=10μA at temperature T=70℃ and room temperature, respectively. Structure and magnetic properties are studied by low-temperature X-ray diffraction and susceptibility measurements. A superconducting phase with Tc of 19K and δ-0.12 can be attributed to the formation of oxygen clusters. Room temperature oxidation is inhomogeneous: two superconducting phases with Tc1 of 24K and Tc2 of 8K and an antiferromagnetic phase are coexisting in the crystal. It is found that the appearance of Tc in this system has the "step" tendency. 相似文献

Abstract We report here a calculation of the band structure and superconductivity of Arsenic in the simple cubic phase under pressure. The effect of pressure on the band structure is obtained using Andersen's linear muffin-tin orbital method under atomic sphere approximation. McMillan's formula is used to calculate the superconducting transition temperature (Tc). The theoretically calculated valve of Tc in sc phase at 26.6 GPa is 3.62 K. In this paper, the preparation process of the tetragonal LaBaCaCu3O7-x (LBCCO) superconductor with Tc=84 K is repored. The superconductivity and structure of the LBCCO superconducting phase are investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope(TEM) and superconductivity measurements, The results indicate that the superconducting phase with Tc=82K in the LBCCO system has a tetragonal structure with a=0.3966nm, c=l.1838nm and space group P4/mmm. About 50% of the Ca and La atoms are located in 1d sites (i.e. Y site in the YBCO structure). It is confirmed that there is in fact no orthorhombic to tetragonal transition in this material. The relationship between the oxygen content and Tc is also presented. 相似文献

Electron spin‐freezing at Tf=8 K has been detected in superconducting (Tc=12\ K) single crystal La2CuO4+y (y\simeq0.03) by ZF‐μSR. According to diffraction data, the crystal is in Bmab phase without any traces of structural phase separation. TF‐μSR experiment has shown that no Abrikosov flux line lattice is formed below Tc. The data allow us to assume that the magnetic and superconducting regions in the crystal are space separated on the microscopic scales ~ 102 Å. The presence of large field induced broadening of the Knight shift distribution k\sigma > 1000 ppm indicates that the crystal contains micro‐regions possessing enhanced magnetic susceptibility. 相似文献

The results of synthesizing a new layered phase—nickel oxybismuthide LaO1?δNiBi in a series of superconducting oxypnictides—and its properties in the superconducting and normal states are reported. Although the temperature of the transition of this phase to the superconducting state, T c ~ 4 K, is much lower than the value T c = 55 K reached at present in oxyarsenide SmO1?δFeAs, the similarity of the crystal structures and ρ(T) dependencies indicates that the mechanism responsible for the appearance of the semiconducting state is the same in lanthane oxybismuthide and samarium oxyarsenide. 相似文献

Thin Tl/Te-films are condensed onto a cooled substrate at 4 K. An amorphous phase is obtained. The maximum superconducting transition temperature of the amorphous Tl/Te-films is 4.2 K. Measurements of the energy gap by superconducting tunneling yield a ratio 2Δ/k T c =4.6 for amorphous Tl/Te-films and 2Δ/k T c =3.8 for disordered, pure Tl-films. 相似文献

The hyperbolic metric of the dispersion law (the effective mass tensor components of carriers are opposite in sign) in the vicinity of the Fermi contour in high-T c superconducting cuprates in the case of repulsive interaction gives rise to a superconducting state characterized by the condensate of pairs with a large total momentum (hyperbolic pairing). The gain in the energy of the superconducting state over the normal state is due to the fact that a change in the kinetic energy of pairs (because of the negative light component of the effective mass) dominates over the change in the potential energy (corresponding to energy loss). The shift of the chemical potential upon the transition to the superconducting phase is substantial in this case. With increasing repulsive interaction, the superconducting gap δK increases and the resulting gain in energy changes to an energy loss at a certain critical value of the repulsive potential. The low temperature T c of the superconducting transition and the large value of δ K in this region of potential values are the reasons for the high value of the 2δK/T c ratio and for the developed quantum fluctuations that are observed in underdoped cuprate superconductors. 相似文献

Investigations of the pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc up to 17 kbar, and of the normal conductivity up to 50 kbar are reported. It is observed that below 8 kbar, the value of Tc increases linearly with the pressure. In addition, there is a significant drop of Tc at about 9 kbar which may be due to a phase transition. 相似文献
