In this paper we consider the well-posedness for a class of nonlinear integrodifferential equations of parabolic type. We use integral estimates to deduce an a priori estimate in the classical space C^{2+α,1+\frac{α}{2}}. The existence of the solution is established by means of the continuity method which is similar to a parabolic initial and boundary value problem. Moreover, the continuous dependence upon the data and the uniqueness of the solution are obtained. Finally, the results are generalized into a class of nonlinear integrodifferential systems.  相似文献

A non-local abstract Cauchy problem with a singular integral is studied, which is a closed system of two evolution equations for a real-valued function and a function-valued function. By proposing an appropriate Banach space, the well-posedness of the evolution system is proved under some boundedness and smoothness conditions on the coefficient functions. Furthermore, an isomorphism is established to extend the result to a partial integro-differential equation with a singular convolution kernel, which is a generalized form of the stationary Wigner equation. Our investigation considerably improves the understanding of the open problem concerning the well-posedness of the stationary Wigner equation with in ow boundary conditions.  相似文献

A priori estimates for a solution to a system of fully nonlinear parabolic equations are obtained in a bounded domain under the condition that the solution vanishes on the boundary of the domain. The method of obtaining a priori estimates is based on the possibility of reducing the problem under consideration to the Cauchy problem for a scalar equation on a manifold without boundary in some linear space. In this paper, we study the linearization of the Cauchy problem and the mixed problem for the system of Grad--Hermite moments in nonequilibrium thermodynamics in the neighborhood of the equilibrium state. Stability conditions for solutions of the Cauchy problem are proved as a generalization of the classical Hermite--Biller theorem on stable polynomials. For the mixed problem, we prove an analog of the Vishik--Lyusternik theorem on small singular perturbations of general elliptic problems. The last observation allows us to introduce the Shapiro--Lopatinskii condition, which implies the well-posedness of the mixed problem.  相似文献

For a coupled nonlinear singular system of thermoelasticity with one space dimension, we consider its initial boundary value problem on an interval. For one of the unknowns a classical condition is replaced by a nonlocal constraint of integral type. Because of the presence of a memory term in one of the equations and the presence of a weighted boundary integral condition, the solution requires a delicate set of techniques. We first solve a particular case of the given nonlinear problem by using a functional analysis approach. On the basis of the results obtained and an iteration method we establish the well-posedness of solutions in weighted Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

We consider the initial-boundary value problem for the semilinear wave equation where is an exterior domain in , is a dissipative term which is effective only near the 'critical part' of the boundary. We first give some estimates for the linear equation by combining the results of the local energy decay and estimates for the Cauchy problem in the whole space. Next, on the basis of these estimates we prove global existence of small amplitude solutions for semilinear equations when is odd dimensional domain . When our result is applied if . The local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the Hirota equation is established for low regularity data in Sobolev spaces Hs(s≥-1/4). Moreover, the global well-posedness for L2 data follows from the local well-posedness and the conserved quantity. For data in Hs(s > 0), the global well-posedness is also proved. The main idea is to use the generalized trilinear estimates, associated with the Fourier restriction norm method.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish global well-posedness and asymptotic stability of mild solutions for the Cauchy problem of the fractional drift-diffusion system with small initial data in critical Besov spaces. A system of loaded ordinary differential equations with multipoint conditions is considered. The problem under study is reduced to an equivalent boundary value problem for a system of ordinary differential equations with parameters. A system of linear algebraic equations for the parameters is constructed using the matrices of the loaded terms and the multipoint condition. The conditions for the unique solvability and well-posedness of the original problem are established in terms of the matrix made up of the coefficients of the system of linear algebraic equations. The coefficients and the righthand side of the constructed system are determined by solving Cauchy problems for linear ordinary differential equations. The solutions of the system are found in terms of the values of the desired function at the initial points of subintervals. The parametrization method is numerically implemented using the fourth-order accurate Runge–Kutta method as applied to the Cauchy problems for ordinary differential equations. The performance of the constructed numerical algorithms is illustrated by examples.  相似文献

The present paper first obtains Strichartz estimates for parabolic equations with nonnegative elliptic operators of order 2m by using both the abstract Strichartz estimates of Keel-Tao and the Hardy-LittlewoodSobolev inequality. Some conclusions can be viewed as the improvements of the previously known ones. Furthermore, an endpoint homogeneous Strichartz estimates on BMOx(Rn) and a parabolic homogeneous Strichartz estimate are proved. Meanwhile, the Strichartz estimates to the Sobolev spaces and Besov spaces are generalized. Secondly, the local well-posedness and small global well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the semilinear parabolic equations with elliptic operators of order 2m, which has a potential V(t, x) satisfying appropriate integrable conditions, are established. Finally, the local and global existence and uniqueness of regular solutions in spatial variables for the higher order elliptic Navier-Stokes system with initial data in Lr(Rn) is proved.  相似文献

Results of a study of variational inequalities appearing in dynamic problems of the theory of elastic-ideally plastic Prandtl-Reuss flow are given. The concept of a generalized solution is formulated for the general-type inequality and is used to construct the complete system of relations for a strong discontinuity. A priori estimates are obtained which make it possible to prove the uniqueness and continuous dependence “in the small” on time of the solutions of the Cauchy problem and initial-boundary value problems with dissipative boundary conditions, as well as the estimates of the nearness of the solutions of the variational inequality and of the system of equations with a small parameter describing the elasto-viscoplastic deformation of the bodies. The problem of the propagation of plane waves in an elastoplastic half-space with initial stresses is used as an example to illustrate the difference between the discontinuous solutions with the Mises yield condition and with the Tresca-St Venant consition in the theory of flows.  相似文献

In this paper we mainly study the Cauchy problem for a generalized Camassa–Holm equation in a critical Besov space. First, by using the Littlewood–Paley decomposition, transport equations theory, logarithmic interpolation inequalities and Osgood’s lemma, we establish the local well-posedness for the Cauchy problem of the equation in the critical Besov space $$B^{\frac{1}{2}}_{2,1}$$. Next we derive a new blow-up criterion for strong solutions to the equation. Then we give a global existence result for strong solutions to the equation. Finally, we present two new blow-up results and the exact blow-up rate for strong solutions to the equation by making use of the conservation law and the obtained blow-up criterion.  相似文献

We are concerned with the Cauchy problem of the quantum Landau equation in the whole space. The existence of local in time nearby quantum Maxwellian solutions is proved by the iteration method and generalized maximum principle. Based on Kawashima?s compensating function and nonlinear energy estimates, the global existence and the optimal time decay rate of those solutions are obtained under some conditions on initial data.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an improved non-local boundary value problem method to solve a Cauchy problem for the Laplace equation. It is known that the Cauchy problem for the Laplace equation is severely ill-posed, i.e., the solution does not depend continuously on the given Cauchy data. Convergence estimates for the regularized solutions are obtained under a-priori bound assumptions for the exact solution. In a Hilbert space H with indefinite J-metric, the uniform well-posedness of the Cauchy problem is studied for the equation dx/dt=Ax, where A is a maximal J-dissipative operator. We develop a modification of the energy inequality method and use it to prove the well-posedness of the Goursat problem for linear second-order hyperbolic differential equations with operator coefficients whose domains depend on the two-dimensional time. An energy inequality for strong solutions of this Goursat problem is derived with the help of abstract smoothing operators, and we prove that the range of the problem is dense by using properties of a regularizing Cauchy problem whose inverse operator is a family of smoothing operators of a new type. We give an example of a well-posed boundary value problem for a two-dimensional complete second-order hyperbolic partial differential equation with Goursat conditions and with a boundary condition depending on the two-dimensional time.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notions of Levitin?CPolyak (LP) well-posedness and Levitin?CPolyak well-posedness in the generalized sense, for a parametric quasivariational inequality problem of the Minty type. Metric characterizations of LP well-posedness and generalized LP well-posedness, in terms of the approximate solution sets are presented. A parametric gap function for the quasivariational inequality problem is introduced and an equivalence relation between LP well-posedness of the parametric quasivariational inequality problem and that of the related optimization problem is obtained.  相似文献
