In order to elucidate the molecular specificity of the antimelanoma response induce by GM3 included in proteoliposome preparation, we designed syntheses of a series of neoglycolipids containing the trisaccharide portion of GM3 or its fragment. In the present paper, we synthesized two neoglicolipids containing as a lipid, a racemic glycerol unit substituted by two aliphatic octadecyl ether chains. The di‐ and trisaccharide derivatives were prepared as glycosides of the spacer by a sequence of isopropilidenation‐benzylation‐hydrolysis followed by sialylation. The condensation between the oligosaccharides and the lipid was performed by an amidation reaction.  相似文献

A de novo asymmetric synthesis of the octahydroisobenzofuran skeleton contained within the eunicellin family of natural products has been completed. The key transformations involve the convergent assembly of a tetrasubstituted tetrahydrofuran by condensation of a functionalised allylsiloxane with an aldehyde; controlled epimerisation of a C4 aldehyde by intramolecular trapping; installation of the isopropyl substituent by stereoselective Michael addition to a 5,5-bicyclic enone; and ring expansion of the 5,5-system to the target structure by radical-mediated cyclopropane fragmentation.  相似文献

Soft PVC was obtained by using a new plasticizer, based on cardanol, a renewable resource characterized by chemical and physical properties very close to those of diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP). Cardanol acetate (CA) was obtained by solvent free esterification of cardanol, and used as secondary plasticizer, by partial substitution of DEHP in soft PVC formulations. Ageing tests were performed in order to study the stability of properties of the soft PVC formulations related to plasticizer diffusion. Tensile properties and hardness changes were used to monitor the macroscopic effects of plasticizer diffusion. Soft PVC obtained by partial substitution of DEHP by CA showed a significant modification of mechanical properties related to a higher plasticizer evaporation during ageing tests. Migration tests confirmed that CA is characterized by a higher diffusivity in soft PVC compared to DEHP.  相似文献

Racemization is the key step to turn a kinetic resolution process into dynamic resolution. A general strategy for racemization under mild reaction conditions by employing stereoselective biocatalysts is presented, in which racemization is achieved by employing a pair of stereocomplementary biocatalysts that reversibly interconvert an sp3 to a sp2 center. The formal interconversion of the enantiomers proceeds via a prochiral sp2 intermediate the formation of which is catalyzed either by two stereocomplementary enzymes or by a single enzyme with low stereoselectivity. By choosing appropriate reaction conditions, the amount of the prochiral intermediate is kept to a minimum. This general strategy, which is applicable to redox enzymes (e.g., by acting on R2CHOH and R2CHNHR groups) and lyase-catalyzed addition-elimination reactions, was proven for the racemization of secondary alcohols by employing alcohol dehydrogenases. Thus, enantiopure chiral alcohols were used as model substrates and were racemized either with highly stereoselective biocatalysts or by using (rarely found) non-selective enzymes.  相似文献

Cotton cellulose was swollen in a sodium hydroxide solution and carboxymethylated by a two-bath method for different periods of time for each process. The kinetics of acid hydrolysis and the crystallinity of the swollen and carboxymethylated samples were measured. The proportion of broken bonds, rate constants for hydrolysis, and permeability of cellulose to hydrolyzing agents were calculated. The susceptibility of glycosidic linkages to acid hydrolysis was improved by carboxymethylation more than by swelling in alkali. The increased accessibility of carboxymethylcellulose to acid was regarded as a consequence of increased intra-and intercrystalline swelling and of the glycosidic bonds' weakness caused by the electron-attracting carboxymethyl group on the C-6 position.  相似文献

A series of cellulose benzoates with different degrees of substitution (DS) were prepared by aminolysis under homogeneous conditions. Using them as a stationary phase, the dependence of the chromatographic chiral recognition of cellulose benzoate (CB) on its DS was studied under normal phase conditions. For most enantiomeric pairs, chiral recognition decreased along with the decrease in DS. However, some enantiomeric pairs were resolved only by CBs carrying unsubstituted hydroxyl groups. Many of the compounds were quite strongly retained by cellulose benzoate with a DS of 2.8. A study of the retention behaviors of simple achiral compounds led us to the conclusion that the change in the retention behaviors by introducing free hydroxyl groups into tribenzoate is not caused by hydrogen bonding including the hydroxyl groups, but by a specific unidentified change.  相似文献

Summary: Zeolite-chitosan composites have been prepared by encapsulation of zeolites by a gelling solution of chitosan or by in-situ synthesis of zeolites inside a chitosan gel. The preparation of the composite implies modifications of both components. Zeolites are dealuminated by the acid solution in which chitosan is dissolved and the morphology of the chitosan fibrils is stabilized by iniorganic species issued from the dealumination of the zeolites or from their synthesis medium. Zeolite-bearing chitosan xerogels present surface area and porosity similar to the textural properties of chitosan aerogels.  相似文献

The present paper aims to show whether the shrinking of the microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) tablets can be derived from underlying processes and whether these processes can be visualized on a nanoscale level. Tableting of MCC was performed on an instrumented eccentric tableting machine to a maximum relative density (ρrel,max) of 0.90 of the tablets. The apparent density of the tablets was analyzed by helium pycnometry after tableting. The breaking surface of a MCC tablet was analyzed directly after tableting continuously by video in an environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) at constant humidity. Further the breaking surface was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) after freeze fracturing. The results show that firstly apparent density by helium pycnometry increases after tableting and that secondly inside the tablet the fiber strength decreased while also the gaps between the fibers increased as was visualized by ESEM. Further the results by TEM indicate that the decrease in fiber strength is caused by a parallel orientation of the MCC microcrystals which is induced by a mechanical activation due to tableting. In conclusion the measured shrinking MCC tablets after tableting is caused by processes on a nanoscale level.  相似文献

Summary: We report a new methodology to determine the gelation and vitrification of a thermosetting material during the polymerization process by detecting the evolution of cure shrinkage through a thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) and a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The gelation and vitrification determined by the evolution of cure shrinkage correspond favorably with that measured by conventional rheological techniques. The isoconversional phenomenon at gelation point was further confirmed by monitoring cure shrinkage at temperatures ranging from 90 to 110 °C. Whereas, vitrification was observed to occur at higher degrees of cure with increasing cure temperatures. Inhibited cure shrinkage was also observed in the vitrification region where the reaction transitioned from chemical to diffusion controlled.

Combination of dimension change detected by DMA and heat flow detected by DSC for determining the relationship of cure shrinkage and degree of cure.  相似文献

Arrays of 84 polymer gradients, fabricated on a single glass microscope slide, were generated by inkjet printing, allowing a combination of high‐throughput and true combinatorial methods. The gradual change of composition within the polymer gradients, consisting of two different monomers and a cross‐linker, was validated by XPS and fluorescence analysis. Cellular screening of the gradients allowed the rapid identification of optimal polymer compositions for binding of the suspension cell line K562 and the adherent cell line HeLa. The polymers identified were identical to those identified by previous microarray data, providing proof of concept for the successful application of the polymer gradient arrays as a screening tool. In addition, the polymer gradients could be readily modified by conjugation enabling the generation of bio‐molecule gradients.  相似文献

Samples of nanostructured silver were prepared by a mechanochemical technique and by electrodeposition. In the former, the microstructure was stabilized by intergranular cosegregation of Mg and O atoms. The excess Gibbs free energy of these samples was investigated by e.m.f. measurements at 453 K in a solid state electrochemical cell with AgI as a solid electrolyte. Electrodeposited pure silver samples had a labile microstructure even at 298 K. Their structural relaxation process was monitored in situ by chronopotentiometric measurements in an aqueous iodoargentate electrolyte. The time dependence of the e.m.f. could be quantitatively described by a parabolic law of grain growth without any adjustable parameter. A total synthesis of tetrodotoxin was accomplished. A Diels–Alder reaction between a known enone and a siloxy diene gave a tricyclic product, the steric bias of which was used to construct the remaining stereogenic centers. A nitrogen atom was introduced either by a four‐step sequence involving a Curtius rearrangement, or a three‐step sequence featuring a newly developed transformation of a terminal alkyne into a nitrile. Introduction of the guanidine moiety followed by the formation of the heterocyclic system by cascade reactions led to tetrodotoxin.  相似文献

Quantum calculations are used to examine whether an AH???D H‐bond is unambiguously verified by a downfield shift of the bridging proton's NMR signal or a red (or blue) shift of the AH stretching frequency in the IR spectrum. It is found that such IR band shifts will occur even if the two groups experience weak or no attractive force, or if they are drawn in so close together that their interaction is heavily repulsive. The mere presence of a proton‐acceptor molecule can affect the chemical shielding of a position occupied by a protondonor by virtue of its electron density, even if there is no H‐bond present. This density‐induced shielding is heavily dependent on position around the proton–acceptor atom, and varies from one group to another. Evidence of a hydrogen bond rests on the measurement of a proton deshielding in excess of what is caused purely by the presence of the proton acceptor species.  相似文献

Zeta potential is an important parameter for characterizing the electrokinetic properties of a solid–liquid interface. In this paper, zeta potentials of polydimethylsiloxane surfaces modified by polybrene (PB) solutions of different concentrations in Phosphate buffer solution and pure water were reported. The zeta potentials were measured by an induction current method. The measurements were validated both by a calibration curve based on the data reported in the published papers and by comparing the zeta potential determined by using the Smoluchowski equation and the measured velocity of the electrokinetic motion of particles in a microchannel.  相似文献

Summary The thermal behavior of KH2PO4, NaH2PO4 and Na2HPO4 under non-isothermal conditions using TG method with different heating rates was studied. The values of the reaction rate were processed by means of Friedmans differential-isoconversional method. A dependence of the activation energy vs. conversion was observed. Therefore a procedure based on the compensation effect (suggested by Budrugeac and Segal) was applied. A less speculative data processing protocol was offered by the non-parametric kinetics method suggested by Serra, Nomen and Sempere. Three steps were observed by non-isothermal heating: a dehydration, a dimerization and a polycondensation. The differences in the intimate reaction mechanism are determined by the initial number of water molecules.  相似文献
