Critical behaviour with dimensionality d = 2 has been observed for the 300 K antiferrodistortive phase transition in Al ur6(ClO4)3 and Ga ur6(ClO4)3 by means of the temperature dependence of the ESR parameter D. The systems exhibited d = 2 behaviour in the static critical behaviour for T<Tc?40 K for T>Tc + 40 K. From the ESR data including line width measurements the local order parameter relaxation rate ω1 has been obtained for various temperatures above Tc, with a lowest value of ω1 = 150 MHz at Tc + 15 K  相似文献

A Tb-123 phase with the composition, TbSr2Cu2.7Mo0.3O7+δ, has been synthesized in single-phase form by the solid-state reaction route. Its phase purity has been confirmed from neutron powder diffraction studies. The as-synthesized Tb-123 sample does not show superconductivity down to 5 K. On the other hand, an unusually high antiferromagnetic ordering temperature (TN) of around 7 K is seen for the Tb moments. After 120-atm-O2 post-annealing, bulk superconductivity is achieved in this compound with a superconducting transition temperature (Tc) of about 30 K, without any significant effect on TN. To achieve higher oxygen content and higher Tc, the as-synthesized sample was subjected to high-pressure oxygenation, carried out in a closed cell, at 5 GPa and 400 °C in the presence of AgO as an excess-oxygen source. This sample exhibited superconductivity onset at around 80 K with a Meissner fraction larger than 10% at 5 K. Our observation of superconductivity at 80 K is the highest Tc to-date for the Tb-123 type compounds.  相似文献

The temperature dependent (30-300 K) Doppler broadening of the positron annihilated γ-radiation measurement has been investigated on single crystalline Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ (Bi-2212) high Tc superconducting samples along two different crystallographic orientations. It has been observed that throughout the temperature range the electron momentum distribution has a larger value along the crystallographic c-axis than in the a-b plane. The temperature dependent Doppler broadened positron annihilation γ-radiation lineshape analysis shows a step like increase of S-parameter at the temperature region 92-116 K.  相似文献

A small polycrystalline ingot sample of NpCo2Si2 (weight ≈ 1.5 g) has been studied by neutron diffration between 2 and 160 K on the multi-detector D1B of ILL, Grenoble. At 100 K, the crystal structure is body-centered tetragonal (space group 14/mmm) with a = 3.886 Å and c =9.649 Å. Below TN = (44 ± 2) K, seven superlattice lines are observed which correspond to a simple tetragonal lattice with lattice constants as above. They are consistent with a type I antiferromagnetic structure of the Np (2a) sublattice, with (001) ferromagnetic sheets coupled antiferromagnetically according to the sequence +-+-. At 6 K, the neptunium moment obtained from the diffracted intensities is: (1.48 ± 0.20)μuB, and makes an angle 52° ± 15° with the c axis. The cobalt moment is certainly smallet than 0.3μuB. The Np moment correlates well with the 237Np hyperfine field deduced from Mos?sbauer spectroscopy; the sublattice magnetization-temoperature curve follows very well the J=12 brillouin curve. The magnetism is therefore probably of lovalized character in this compound. An isomorphous sample of NpCu2Si2 (a = 3.990 Å c = 9.920 Å) was shown to be ferromagnetic below (41 ± 2) K, with the Np moment [1.5 ± 0.2)μuB] aligned along the c axis.  相似文献

A high-quality single crystal of Ce3Pt23Si11 has been grown using the Czochralski method. The crystal structure is presented and the chemical composition has been checked using an electron microprobe analyzer. Measurements of the electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility performed at low temperature show a ferromagnetic transition at Tc=0.44 K.  相似文献

The observation of NMR signals from 55Mn nuclei in Mn2Sb has been reported. A temperature variation study of the domain and domain wall signals in Mn2Sb confirms that the magnetization is aligned parallel to the c-axis at temperatures higher than 240 K and that it is in the basal plane below 240 K. The temperature dependence of the anisotropy in the hyperfine field at the Mn(I) and Mn(II) sites has been determined.  相似文献

The effect of interstitially dissolved hydrogen on the transition temperature Tc of superconductivity has been investigated in cubic A-15 type (Cr3Si type) hydrides Ti3SbHx, 0 ? x ? 2. Neutron diffraction studies of an Er0.75 Lu0.25 alloy single crystal show a transition to a c-axis longitudinal spin wave at 68 K and a transition to a slightly distorted antiferromagnetic conical structure at 40 K. No ferromagnetic transition has been observed down to 4.9 K.  相似文献

The phase field of the Chevrel phase SnxMoyS8 was investigated by metallographic methods. A shift of the phase field away from the “ideal” compound SnMo6S8 towards the molybdenum-rich side of the phase diagram was observed. The degree of off-stoichiometry could not yet be determined, however, the c/a ratio of the hexagonal lattice parameters can be used to characterize the samples. Measurements of the superconducting transition temperature indicate two superconducting “phases”, which differ in the c/a ratio of the lattice parameters. While phase A showed a linear variation of Tac with c/a in the region from 11.0 to 13.0 K phase B was independent of the c/a ratio with a Tbc = 10.8 ± 0.2 K.  相似文献

Low-field magnetic susceptibility and the magnetic field dependence of magnetization of Metglas 2605 A (Fe78Mo2B20) were studied between 300 and 600 K and in fields up to 10kG. It is shown here that for an amorphous ferromagnetic alloy, the various methods of determination of Curie temperature Tc give the same value, which in this case is (564 ± 1) K. The critical exponent γ is 1.7 ± 0.1. Our low-field susceptibility measurements on Metglas 2605 (Fe80B20) gives a Tc of (634 ± 3) K while the reported high-field method value is 647 K. These results are discussed in terms of crystallization temperatures.  相似文献

The effects of hydrostatic pressure and substitution of Rb+for the ammonium cations on the ferroelectric phase transition temperature in NH4H(ClH2CCOO)2 have been studied by electric permittivity measurements. The transition temperature (Tc) decreases with increasing pressure up to 800 MPa and the pressure coefficient dTc/dp=−1.4×10−2 [K/MPa] has been experimentally determined. The substitution of Rb+ for the ammonium cations has been shown to considerably lower the ferroelectric phase transition temperature Tc. In mixed crystals, additional electric permittivity anomaly has been clearly evidenced. The results are discussed assuming a model, which combines polarizability effects, related to the heavy ion units, with the pseudo-spin tunnelling.  相似文献

Nb-sheathed Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 superconducting wires have been fabricated using the powder-in-tube (PIT) method for the first time and the superconducting properties of the wires have been investigated. The transition temperature (Tc) of the Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires is confirmed to be as high as 35.3 K. Most importantly, Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires exhibit a very weak Jc-field dependence behavior even the temperature is very close to Tc. The upper critical field Hc2(0) value can exceed 140 T, surpassing those of MgB2 and all the low temperature superconductors. Such high Hc2 and superior Jc-field performance make the 122 phase SrKFeAs wire conductors a powerful competitor potentially useful in very high field applications.  相似文献

Neodymium-substituted bismuth titanate (Bi3.25Nd0.75Ti3O12, BNT0.75) ceramics was prepared by chemical co-precipitation along with calcinations. The lattice instability has been investigated by variable-temperature Raman scattering and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that there was an orthorhombic to pseudo-tetragonal phase transition at about 695 K, in terms of the evolution of temperature dependence of Raman scattering frequencies. Some changes at about 695 K in the XRD lines, the lattice parameters (a, b, and c) as well as the orthorhombic distortion b/a have been detected in the high temperature X-ray diffraction, which confirmed the conclusion that the BNT0.75 ceramics undergoes a ferroelectric to paraelectric phase transition at about 695 K.  相似文献

The superconducting transition temperature Tc1 and the reentering temperature Tc2 to the normal ferromagnetically ordered state in the system ErcY1?cRh4B4 were determined as a function of the concentration of Er. Comparing our results with the recent theory of Maekawa et al., the exchange interactions J′ among local spins and I between local spins and superconducting electrons were estimated as J′ ? 0.30 K and I2N(0) ? 0.046 K, where N(0) is the density of states. A sudden decrease of Hc2 at Tc2 was observed in a high concentration region suggesting the first order transition.  相似文献

Amorphous magnetic glasses (FexNi1?x)80P14B6 (0.1 ? x ? 1) have been studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy. At 4.2 K, well-defined and very similar spectra have been observed for samples with different Fe concentration. This suggests that the Fe hyperfine field distribution is insensitive to the amount of dilutant. The value of the average hyperfine field at 4.2 K increases with Fe concentration. A value of 232 kOe is obtained by extrapolating to zero Fe concentration. The relationship Heff(O) = (232 + 33μ) kOe, similar to that of crystalline Fe-Ni alloys describes the results. The values of Tc = 60 K, 234 K and 425 K have been determined for samples with x = 0.125, 0.25 and 0.375 respectively. The TC vs. x relation suggests a critical concentration of xc ? 0.1, above which ferromagnetism exists. By fitting the measured values of TC to the results of a coherent potential approximation, exchange interaction temperatures of JFeFe = 617 K, JFeNi = 800 K and JNiNi ? 0 K have been obtained.  相似文献

Low temperature irradiation of thin films of Nb75Ge25 (Tc = 3.2 K) and Nb80Si20 (Tc = 4.7 K) with 20 MeV sulfur ions leads to an increase of Tc of about 0.5 K and a decrease of ? of about 1.5 to 3.5%. Annealing up to room temperature partly restores the initial values. Qualitatively the results can be explained by irradiation induced smearing of the structure factor, which is partially recovered by annealing.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the elastic constants, c11, c33, c44, and c66, in KCP are described. In the temperature range 10–100 K softening is observed in c44, while c66 decreases almost linearly with decreasing temperature. A Ni54Mn25.7Ga20.3 ferromagnetic shape memory alloy thin film has been fabricated by using the RF magnetron-sputtering technique. The structure and magnetic properties of the film were systematically investigated. The results show that the film is in ferromagnetic martensite state at room temperature with the Curie temperature (Tc) of about 370 K. The saturation magnetization (Ms) of the film reaches 45 emu/g at 300 K, which is about 80% as large as that of Ni–Mn–Ga bulk material. The magnetization hysteresis loops significantly depend on temperatures. The residual magnetization (Mr) and the coercive force (Hc) increase with decreasing temperatures. The grains homogeneously distribute in the film. The microstructure of the film consists of martensite plates. The interface between the martensite variants is clear and straight, indicating a good mobility.  相似文献

The upper critical field Hc2(T) of the highest Tc(~23K) Nb3Ge superconducting films has been found to be ≈370kG at 4.2K. Measurements on lower Tc films show very broad transitions reflecting nonuniformity. The Hc2(T) characteristics are consistent with other Nb3X type II superconductors.  相似文献

Magneto-structural correlations in Pr0.15Gd0.85Mn2Ge2 have been studied by synchrotron diffraction in the temperature range between 11 and 300 K. This compound crystallizes in the ThCr2Si2-type structure (space group ). The unit cell parameters a and c were determined by Rietveld refinements as a function of temperature. Anomalies in the temperature dependence of the unit cell parameters a and c, the c/a ratio and the unit cell volume V at about 240 and 140 K, which is close to the magnetic phase transition temperatures, indicate a pronounced magneto-structural correlation. Spontaneous volume change and linear magnetostrictions are derived as a function of temperature.  相似文献
