We consider pseudodifferential operators with symbols of the Hörmander class S 1, δ m , 0 ≤ δ < 1, in Hölder-Zygmund spaces on ? n and obtain a Beals-type characterization of such operators. By way of application, we show that the inverse of a pseudodifferential operator invertible in a Hölder-Zygmund space is itself a pseudodifferential operator, and hence, the spectra of a pseudodifferential operator in the space L 2 and in the Hölder-Zygmund spaces coincide as sets.  相似文献

We consider toroidal pseudodifferential operators with operator-valued symbols, their mapping properties and the generation of analytic semigroups on vector-valued Besov and Sobolev spaces. Here, we restrict ourselves to pseudodifferential operators with x-independent symbols (Fourier multipliers). We show that a parabolic toroidal pseudodifferential operator generates an analytic semigroup on the Besov space \(B_{pq}^s({\mathbb T}^n,E)\) and on the Sobolev space \(W_p^k({\mathbb T}^n,E)\), where E is an arbitrary Banach space, \(1\le p,q\le \infty \), \(s\in {\mathbb R}\) and \(k\in {\mathbb N}_0\). For the proof of the Sobolev space result, we establish a uniform estimate on the kernel which is given as an infinite parameter-dependent sum. An application to abstract non-autonomous periodic pseudodifferential Cauchy problems gives the existence and uniqueness of classical solutions for such problems.  相似文献

We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the complete continuity (the Fredholm property) in Hölder-Zygmund spaces on ? n whose weight has a power-law behavior at infinity for pseudodifferential operators with symbols in the Hörmander class S 1,δ m , 0 ≤ δ < 1 (slowly varying symbols in the class S 1,0 m ). We show that such operators are compact operators or Fredholm operators in weighted Hölder-Zygmund spaces if and only if they are compact operators or Fredholm operators, respectively, in Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

For an order-continuous Banach function space Λ and a separated inductive limit E:= indn E n, we prove that indn A {En} is a topological subspace of Λ {E}; moreover, both spaces coincide if the inductive limit is hyperstrict. As a consequence, we deduce that if E is an LF-space, then L p {E} is barrelled for 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞.  相似文献

We consider multiparameter singular integrals and pseudodifferential operators acting on mixed-norm Bochner spaces Lp1,…,pN(Rn1×?×RnN;X) where X is a UMD Banach space satisfying Pisier's property (α). These geometric conditions are shown to be necessary. We obtain a vector-valued version of a result by R. Fefferman and Stein, also providing a new, inductive proof of the original scalar-valued theorem. Then we extend a result of Bourgain on singular integrals in UMD spaces with an unconditional basis to a multiparameter situation. Finally we carry over a result of Yamazaki on pseudodifferential operators to the Bochner space setting, improving the known vector-valued results even in the one-parameter case.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the exposition of results announced in [1]. We construct a reduction (following an idea of S. P. Novikov) of the calculus of pseudodifferential operators on Euclidean space ? n to a similar calculus in the space of sections of a one-dimensional fiber bundle ξ on the 2n-dimensional torus $\mathbb{T}^{2n} $ . This reduction enables us to identify the Schwartz space on ? n with the space of smooth sections Γ(T 2n , ξ), compare the Sobolev norms on the corresponding spaces and pseudodifferential operators in them, and describe the class of elliptic operators that reduce to Fredholm operators in Sobolev norms. Thus, for a natural class of elliptic pseudodifferential operators on a noncompact manifold of ? n , we construct an index formula in accordance with the classical Atya-Singer formula.  相似文献

This paper uses frame techniques to characterize the Schatten class properties of integral operators. The main result shows that if the coefficients {〈k,Φm,n〉} of certain frame expansions of the kernel k of an integral operator are in ?2,p, then the operator is Schatten p-class. As a corollary, we conclude that if the kernel or Kohn-Nirenberg symbol of a pseudodifferential operator lies in a particular mixed modulation space, then the operator is Schatten p-class. Our corollary improves existing Schatten class results for pseudodifferential operators and the corollary is sharp in the sense that larger mixed modulation spaces yield operators that are not Schatten class.  相似文献

We develop an abstract theory of unbounded longitudinal pseudodifferential calculus on smooth groupoids (also called Lie groupoids) with compact basis. We analyze these operators as unbounded operators acting on Hilbert modules over C(G), and we show in particular that elliptic operators are regular. We construct a scale of Sobolev modules which are the abstract analogues of the ordinary Sobolev spaces, and analyze their properties. Furthermore, we show that complex powers of positive elliptic pseudodifferential operators are still pseudodifferential operators in a generalized sense.  相似文献

We study relations between Schatten classes and product operator ideals, where one of the factors is the Banach ideal ΠE,2 of (E, 2)‐summing operators, and where E is a Banach sequence space with ?2 ? E. We show that for a large class of 2‐convex symmetric Banach sequence spaces the product ideal ΠE,2 ○ ??aq,s is an extension of the Schatten class ??F with a suitable Lorentz space F. As an application, we obtain that if 2 ≤ p, q < ∞, 1/r = 1/p + 1/q and E is a 2‐convex symmetric space with fundamental function λE(n) ≈? n1/p, then ΠE,2 ○ Πq is an extension of the Schatten class ??r,q (© 2010 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Very few Banach spaces E are known for which the lattice of closed ideals in the Banach algebra of all (bounded, linear) operators on E is fully understood. Indeed, up to now the only such Banach spaces are, up to isomorphism, Hilbert spaces and the sequence spaces c0 and ?p for 1?p<∞. We add a new member to this family by showing that there are exactly four closed ideals in for the Banach space E?(⊕?2n)c0, that is, E is the c0-direct sum of the finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces ?21,?22,…,?2n,… .  相似文献

A Banach space X is said to have the kp-approximation property (kp-AP) if for every Banach space Y, the space F(Y,X) of finite rank operators is dense in the space Kp(Y,X) of p-compact operators endowed with its natural ideal norm kp. In this paper we study this notion that has been previously treated by Sinha and Karn (2002) in [15]. As application, the kp-AP of dual Banach spaces is characterized via density of finite rank operators in the space of quasi p-nuclear operators for the p-summing norm. This allows to obtain a relation between the kp-AP and Saphar's approximation property. As another application, the kp-AP is characterized in terms of a trace condition. Finally, we relate the kp-AP to the (p,p)-approximation property introduced in Sinha and Karn (2002) [15] for subspaces of Lp(μ)-spaces.  相似文献

We present some results concerning the general theory of Banach ideals of operators and give several applications to Banach space theory. We give, in Section 3, new proofs of several recent results, as well as new operator characterizations of the Lp-spaces of Lindenstrauss and Pelczynski. In Section 4 we prove that the space of absolutely summing operators from E to F is reflexive if both E and F are reflexive and E has the approximation property. Section 5 concerns Hilbert spaces. In particular, we compute the relative projection constant of Hilbert spaces in Lp(μ)-spaces.  相似文献

The weighted Sobolev-Lions type spaces W pl,γ(Ω; E0, E) = W pl,γ(Ω; E) ∩ Lp,γ (Ω; E0) are studied, where E0, E are two Banach spaces and E0 is continuously and densely embedded on E. A new concept of capacity of region Ω∈ Rn in W pl,γ(; E0, E) is introduced. Several conditions in terms of capacity of region Ω and interpolations of E0 and E are found such that ensure the continuity and compactness of embedding operators. In particular, the most regular class of interpolation spaces Eα between E0 and E, depending of α and l, are found such that mixed differential operators Dα are bounded and compact from W pl,γ(Ω; E0, E) to Eα-valued Lp,γ spaces. In applications, the maximal regularity for differential-operator equations with parameters are studied.  相似文献

For a Banach space E and for 1 ? p < ∞ let ?p<∞ let LEp(μ) = LEp(S,B,μ) denote all Bochner p-integrable E-valued functions on a measure space (S,B,μ). Under study are convergence theorems for integrals of functions in LEp(μ) with respect to Nemytskii measures. Weak integrals are then denoted to Hammerstein operators, and a study of topologies generated by vector measures leads to a characterization of compact Hammerstein operators.  相似文献

We consider pseudodifferential operators with operator valued symbols a(x,ξ) acting on a UMD Banach space X. Assuming some regularity of Hölder type in x and Mihlin type in ξ we prove L p (? n ;X) boundedness of such operators. This result is then applied to the study of L p -maximal regularity for nonautonomous parabolic evolution equations.  相似文献

The α-modulation spaces M s p,q (R d ), α∈[0,1], form a family of spaces that contain the Besov and modulation spaces as special cases. In this paper we prove that a pseudodifferential operator σ(x,D) with symbol in the Hörmander class S b ρ,0 extends to a bounded operator σ(x,D):M s p,q (R d )→M s-b p,q (R d ) provided 0≤α≤ρ≤1, and 1<p,q<∞. The result extends the well-known result that pseudodifferential operators with symbol in the class S b 1,0 maps the Besov space B s p,q (R d ) into B s-b p,q (R d ).  相似文献

Using a classical result of Marcinkiewicz and Lizorkin about the Lp-continuity for Fourier multipliers, the authors study the action of a class of pseudodifferential operators with weighted smooth symbol on a family of weighted Sobolev spaces. Results about Lp-regularity for multi-quasi-elliptic pseudodifferential operators are also given.  相似文献

This study focuses on vector-valued anisotropic Sobolev-Lions spaces associated with Banach spaces E0, E. Several conditions are found that ensure the continuity and compactness of embedding operators that are optimal regular in these spaces in terms of interpolations of spaces E0 and E. In particular, the most regular class of interpolation spaces Eα between E0, E depending on α and the order of space are found and the boundedness of differential operators D^α from this space to Eα-valued Lp,γ spaces is proved. These results are applied to partial differential-operator equations with parameters to obtain conditions that guarantee the maximal Lp,γ regularity and R-positivity uniformly with respect to these parameters.  相似文献

In this paper operator-valued multiplier theorems in Banach-valued weighted Lp spaces are studied. Also weighted Sobolev-Lions type spaces are discussed when E0, E are two Banach spaces and E0 is continuously and densely embedded on E. Several conditions are found that ensure the continuity of the embedding operators that are optimally regular in these spaces in terms of interpolations of E0. These results permit us to show the separability of the anisotropic differential operators in an E-valued weighted Lp space. By using these results the maximal regularity of infinite systems of quasi elliptic partial differential equations are established.  相似文献

Building upon the ideas of R. Arens and J. Eells (1956) [1] we introduce the concept of spaces of Banach-space-valued molecules, whose duals can be naturally identified with spaces of operators between a metric space and a Banach space. On these spaces we define analogues of the tensor norms of Chevet (1969) [3] and Saphar (1970) [14], whose duals are spaces of Lipschitz p-summing operators. In particular, we identify the dual of the space of Lipschitz p-summing operators from a finite metric space to a Banach space — answering a question of J. Farmer and W.B. Johnson (2009) [6] — and use it to give a new characterization of the non-linear concept of Lipschitz p-summing operator between metric spaces in terms of linear operators between certain Banach spaces. More generally, we define analogues of the norms of J.T. Lapresté (1976) [11], whose duals are analogues of A. Pietsch?s (p,r,s)-summing operators (A. Pietsch, 1980 [12]). As a special case, we get a Lipschitz version of (q,p)-dominated operators.  相似文献
