The ordinary quivers of Hochschild extension algebras for self-injective Nakayama algebras

Let T be a Hochschild extension algebra of a finite dimensional algebra A over a field K by the standard duality A-bimodule Hom_K(A, K). In this paper, we determine the ordinary quiver of T if A is a self-injective Nakayama algebra by means of the ?-graded second Hochschild homology group HH₂(A) in the sense of Sköldberg.

A combinatorial classification of 2-regular simple modules for Nakayama algebras

Enomoto showed for finite dimensional algebras that the classification of exact structures on the category of finitely generated projective modules can be reduced to the classification of 2-regular simple modules. In this article, we give a combinatorial classification of 2-regular simple modules for Nakayama algebras and we use this classification to answer several natural questions such as when there is a unique exact structure on the category of finitely generated projective modules for Nakayama algebras. We also classify 1-regular simple modules, quasi-hereditary Nakayama algebras and Nakayama algebras of global dimension at most two. It turns out that most classes are enumerated by well-known combinatorial sequences, such as Fibonacci, Riordan and Narayana numbers. We first obtain interpretations in terms of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of the algebra using homological algebra, and then apply suitable bijections to relate these to combinatorial statistics on Dyck paths.     

Tilting Modules Over Quasi-Hereditary Nakayama Algebras #

The structure of Ringel duals of quasi-hereditary Nakayama algebras and of quasi-hereditary left serial algebras is described.     

Braid Action on Derived Category Nakayama Algebras

We construct an action of a braid group associated to a complete graph on the derived category of a certain symmetric Nakayama algebra which is also a Brauer star algebra with no exceptional vertex. We connect this action with the affine braid group action on Brauer star algebras defined by Schaps and Zakay–Illouz. We show that for Brauer star algebras with no exceptional vertex, the action is faithful.     

Nakayama Twisted Centers and Dual Bases of Frobenius Cellular Algebras

For a Frobenius cellular algebra, we prove that, if the left (right) dual basis of a cellular basis is again cellular, then the algebra is symmetric. Moreover, some ideals of the center are constructed by using the so-called Nakayama twisted center.     

Left-sided quasi-invertible bimodules over Nakayama algebras

Bimodules over triangular Nakayama algebras that give stable equivalences of Morita type are studied here. As a consequence one obtains that every stable equivalence of Morita type between triangular Nakayama algebras is a Morita equivalence.     

Monomial Hopf algebras over fields of positive characteristic

In this paper, we study the structures of monomial Hopf algebras over a field of positive characteristic. A necessary and sufficient condition for the monomial coalgebra Cd(n) to admit Hopf structures is given here, and if it is the case, all graded Hopf structures on Cd(n) are completely classified. Moreover, we construct a Hopf algebras filtration on Cd(n) which will help us to discuss a conjecture posed by Andruskiewitsch and Schneider. Finally combined with a theorem by Montgomery, we give the structure theorem for all monomial Hopf algebras.     

3-Filiform Leibniz algebras of maximum length,whose naturally graded algebras are Lie algebras

In this article we present the classification of the 3-filiform Leibniz algebras of maximum length, whose associated naturally graded algebras are Lie algebras. Our main tools are a previous existence result by Cabezas and Pastor [J.M. Cabezas and E. Pastor, Naturally graded p-filiform Lie algebras in arbitrary finite dimension, J. Lie Theory 15 (2005), pp. 379–391] and the construction of appropriate homogeneous bases in the connected gradation considered. This is a continuation of the work done in Ref. [J.M. Cabezas, L.M. Camacho, and I.M. Rodríguez, On filiform and 2-filiform Leibniz algebras of maximum length, J. Lie Theory 18 (2008), pp. 335–350].     

Cluster tilting for higher Auslander algebras

The concept of cluster tilting gives a higher analogue of classical Auslander correspondence between representation-finite algebras and Auslander algebras. The n-Auslander–Reiten translation functor τn plays an important role in the study of n-cluster tilting subcategories. We study the category Mn of preinjective-like modules obtained by applying τn to injective modules repeatedly. We call a finite-dimensional algebra Λ n-complete if for an n-cluster tilting object M. Our main result asserts that the endomorphism algebra EndΛ(M) is (n+1)-complete. This gives an inductive construction of n-complete algebras. For example, any representation-finite hereditary algebra Λ(1) is 1-complete. Hence the Auslander algebra Λ(2) of Λ(1) is 2-complete. Moreover, for any n?1, we have an n-complete algebra Λ(n) which has an n-cluster tilting object M(n) such that Λ(n+1)=EndΛ(n)(M(n)). We give the presentation of Λ(n) by a quiver with relations. We apply our results to construct n-cluster tilting subcategories of derived categories of n-complete algebras.

Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on Lie algebras

We study ideals of Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on finite-dimensional Lie algebras. We present the first example of a three-step nilpotent Lie algebra which does not admit a Novikov structure. On the other hand we show that any free three-step nilpotent Lie algebra admits a Novikov structure. We study the existence question also for Lie algebras of triangular matrices. Finally we show that there are families of Lie algebras of arbitrary high solvability class which admit Novikov structures.     

Relatively free invariant algebras of finite reflection groups

Solutions for PDEs with constant coefficients and derivability of functions ranged in commutative algebras
