The Qβ-values of99Rb,99,100Sr and100Y have been measured for the first time at the mass separator OSTIS of the ILL; for99Y,99,100Zr and100Nb, the results of earlier experiments were confirmed with reduced experimental errors. The two-neutron binding energies derived from the experimental Qβ-values clearly indicate that the nuclei100Sr and100Y are strongly deformed.  相似文献

We present radiochemical data on the production of intermediate-mass fragments (IMF, 11≤Z<≈25) in collisions of197Au+197Au at 9, 11, 13 and 15 MeV/u. We demonstrate that the IMFs are produced in two-step reactions: Highly excited heavy nuclei are formed in a binary deep-inelastic reaction, and the IMFs originate from fast mass-asymmetric sequential fission of these primary reaction products.  相似文献

All reaction products in the range from target- and projectile-like to fission-like fragments were measured for the system84Kr+27Al at 5.9 MeV/u beam energy. They are assigned to the various reaction mechanisms on the basis of experimental signatures (energy dissipation, mass and angular distribution). The sum of the measured partial cross sections, including the evaporation residue yield obtained previously, agrees with the total reaction cross section derived from elastic scattering. A small fast-fission component was found, discernible from deep-inelastic reactions by its 1/sin θ angular distribution, and distinguished from compound-nucleus fission by an incomplete mass asymmetry relaxation.  相似文献

Single- and two-particle inclusive cross sections for light nuclei (p, d, t, 3,4He, 6–9Li, 7,8,10Be) were measured for 14N induced reactions on 197Au at E/A = 35 MeV. At forward angles, θ ≈ 20°, quasi-elastic peripheral reactions and more violent fusion-like collisions were discriminated by measuring the folding angle between two coincident fission fragments resulting from the decay of the heavy reaction residue. More pronounced correlation functions, but very similar emission temperatures are observed for fusion-like collisions as compared to peripheral collisions.  相似文献

Peripheral reactions induced on 92Mo,98Mo, natAg and 197Au targets by 22 MeV per nucleon krypton beam were studied. Fragments observed with velocities close to the beam velocity can be interpreted as coming from a quasi-fragmentation of the projectile. The isotopic distributions measured for the fragments produced with the Kr projectile reflect some influence of the composite system. Thus it seems that projectile fragmentation is not the only mechanism involved in these reactions and that the mean field interaction still plays an important role at this energy.  相似文献

Breakup temperatures were deduced from double ratios of isotope yields for target spectators produced in the reaction 197Au + 197Au at 1000 MeV per nucleon. Pairs of 3,4He and 6,7Li isotopes and pairs of 3,4He and H isotopes (p, d and d, t) yield consistent temperatures after feeding corrections, based on the quantum statistical model, are applied. The temperatures rise with decreasing impact parameter from 4 MeV for peripheral to about 10 MeV for the most central collisions. The good agreement with the breakup temperatures measured previously for projectile spectators at an incident energy of 600 MeV per nucleon confirms the universality established for the spectator decayat relativistic bombarding energies. The measured temperatures also agree with the breakup temperatures predicted by the statistical multifragmentation model. For these calculations a relation between the initial excitation energy and mass was derived which gives good simultaneous agreement for the fragment charge correlations. The energy spectra of light charged particles, measured at τlab = 150°, exhibit Maxwellian shapes with inverse slope parameters much higher than the breakup temperatures. The statistical multifragmentation model, because Coulomb repulsion and sequential decay processes are included, yields light-particle spectra with inverse slope parameters higher than the breakup temperatures but considerably below the measured values. The systematic behavior of the differences suggests that they are caused by light-charged-particle emission prior to the final breakup stage.  相似文献

The velocity distributions of evaporation — residues produced in complete fusion reactions of20Ne+197Au at bombarding energies ofE/A=5.7, 8.6 and 11.4MeV/u were measured with use of the velocity filter SHIP. It could be shown, that the production cross section for evaporation residues is influenced by emission of fast, light particles having an angular distribution, that is peaked in forward direction (preequilibrium particles). This contribution is, however too small to explain the enhancement of the evaporation residue production cross section by about two orders of magnitude compared to statistical model calculations. This latter effect is interpreted as mainly due to a delayed onset of compound fission.  相似文献

A comparison has been made between the production of high energy (E γ≧30 MeV)γ rays from the bombardment of124Sn and112Sn targets withE/A= 10 MeV12C ions. The results are well explained by then-p bremsstrahlung model and do not indicate the need for any new processes.  相似文献

The cross sections and angular distributions for fragments emitted in the reaction 620 MeV 86Kr + 197Au have been calculated using the Diffusion Model to describe the approach to equilibrium of the reaction system along the mass-asymmetry coordinate. Measurements are reported for correlated energies and angles of heavy fragments from reactions of 343 MeV40Ar with197Au. The results show a continuous evolution of the mass distributions from fission-like products at angle pairs of ≈60 and 300 degrees to deeply inelastic projectile-like products at ≈45° and 300°. Certain difficulties are emphasized for the use of the “symmetric fragmentation” cross sections in the context of current theoretical models (e.g. the “extra push” theory). The fission-like reactions have been studied in some detail and the results have been compared to a Monte Carlo kinematic simulation. To account for the experimental results forward-peaked light particle emission (n, H, He) must occur in a large fraction of the fission-like reactions.  相似文献

The characteristics of fragment emission in peripheral 197Au+197Au collisions 35 MeV/A are studied using the two clusterization approaches within framework of quantum molecular dynamics model. Our model calculations using minimum spanning tree (MST) algorithm and advanced clusterization method namely simulated annealing clusterization algorithm (SACA) showed that fragment structure can be realized at an earlier time when spectators contribute significantly toward the fragment production even at such a low incident energy. Comparison of model predictions with experimental data reveals that SACA method can nicely reproduce the fragment charge yields and mean charge of the heaviest fragment. This reflects suitability of SACA method over conventional clusterization techniques to investigate spectator matter fragmentation in low energy domain.  相似文献

Recoil velocities of heavy residues produced in the bombardment of84Kr beams on a232Th target at energies about the Fermi velocity were determined using the method of correlations between fission fragments. The masses of both fragments were also measured. The data show events with high recoil velocity which are produced in incomplete fusion processes. Estimates of the energy transfer are given. Comparisons with incomplete fusion data obtained with other projectiles in the same incident velocity range show an increase of the energy transfer with the mass of the projectile.  相似文献
