For a real valued function f defined on a finite interval I we consider the problem of approximating f from null spaces of differential operators of the form Ln(ψ) = n ∑ k=0 akψ(k), where the constant coefficients ak ∈ R may be adapted to f . We prove that for each f ∈ C(n)(I), there is a selection of coefficients {a1, ,an} and a corresponding linear combination Sn( f ,t) = n ∑ k=1 bkeλkt of functions ψk(t) = eλkt in the nullity of L which satisfies the following Jackson’s type inequality: f (m) Sn(m )( f ,t) ∞≤ |an|2n|Im|1/1q/ep|λ|λn|n|I||nm1 Ln( f ) p, where |λn| = mka x|λk|, 0 ≤ m ≤ n 1, p,q ≥ 1, and 1p + q1 = 1. For the particular operator Mn(f) = f + 1/(2n) f(2n) the rate of approximation by the eigenvalues of Mn for non-periodic analytic functions on intervals of restricted length is established to be exponential. In this paper we show that if \(D \subseteq \mathbb{C}^n ,n \geqq 2\) , is a smooth bounded pseudoconvex circular domain with real analytic defining functionr(z) such that \(\sum\limits_{k = 1}^n {z_k \frac{{\partial r}}{{\partial z_k }}} \ne 0\) for allz near the boundary, then the solutionu to the \(\bar \partial\) -Neumann problem, $$square u = (\bar \partial \bar \partial * + \bar \partial *\bar \partial )u = f,$$ is real analytic up to the boundary, if the given formf is real analytic up to the boundary. In particular, if \(D \subseteq \mathbb{C}^n ,n \geqq 2\) , is a smooth bounded complete Reinhardt pseudoconvex domain with real analytic boundary. Then ? is analytic hypoelliptic.  相似文献

We prove that bounded real analytic domains in ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ , with the symmetries of an ellipsoid and with one axis length fixed, are determined by their Dirichlet or Neumann eigenvalues among other bounded real analytic domains with the same symmetries and axis length. Some non-degeneracy conditions are also imposed on the class of domains. It follows that bounded, convex analytic domains are determined by their spectra among other such domains. This seems to be the first positive result for the well-known Kac problem, “Can one hear the shape of a drum?”, in higher dimensions.  相似文献

In previous papers by the present author, a machinery for calculating automorphisms, constructing invariants, and classifying real submanifolds of a complex manifold was developed. The main step in this machinery is the construction of a “nice” model surface. The nice model surface can be treated as an analog of the osculating paraboloid in classical differential geometry. Model surfaces suggested earlier possess a complete list of the desired properties only if some upper estimate for the codimension of the submanifold is satisfied. If this estimate fails, then the surfaces lose the universality property (that is, the ability to touch any germ in an appropriate way), which restricts their applicability. In the present paper, we get rid of this restriction: for an arbitrary type (n,K) (where n is the dimension of the complex tangent plane, and K is the real codimension), we construct a nice model surface. In particular, we solve the problem of constructing a nondegenerate germ of a real analytic submanifold of a complex manifold of arbitrary given type (n,K) with the richest possible group of holomorphic automorphisms in the given class.  相似文献

This study examines the paper of Cárdenas-Barrón, entitled “The derivation of EOQ/EPQ inventory models with two backorders costs using analytic geometry and algebra.” that was published in Applied Mathematical Modelling at 2011 to point out it contains questionable results. The algebraic geometry and algebra applied by Cárdenas-Barrón [2] violated the rule of the arithmetic-geometric mean (AGM) mentioned by Cárdenas-Barrón [74]. Moreover, we point out Sphicas [1] had already solved this kind of EOQ and EPQ models using algebraic methods.  相似文献

The various properties of classical Dedekind sums S(h, q) have been investi-gated by many authors. For example, Yanni Liu and Wenpeng Zhang: A hybrid mean value related to the Dedekind sums and Kloosterman sums, Acta Mathematica Sinica, 27 (2011), 435–440 studied the hybrid mean value properties involving Dedekind sums and generalized Kloosterman sums K(m, n, r; q). The main purpose of this paper, is using the analytic methods and the properties of character sums, to study the computational problem of one kind of hybrid mean value involving Dedekind sums and generalized Kloosterman sums, and give an interesting identity.  相似文献

In this paper we show that the incompressible Euler equation on the Sobolev space $H^s(\mathbb{R}^n), s › n ⁄ 2+1$, can be expressed in Lagrangian coordinates as a geodesic equation on an infinite dimensional manifold. Moreover the Christoffel map describing the geodesic equation is real analytic. The dynamics in Lagrangian coordinates is described on the group of volume preserving diffeomorphisms, which is an analytic submanifold of the whole diffeomorphism group. Furthermore it is shown that a Sobolev class vector field integrates to a curve on the diffeomorphism group.  相似文献

The classification problem for holomorphic fibre bundles over Stein spaces was solved by H. GRAUERT. Along the same lines, the real coherent analytic case was considered by A. TOGNOLI and V. ANCONA. In this paper we propose a different approach, based on classifying spaces, in order to study the previous problem for real analytic fibre bundles over C -analytic subspaces of R m. So, let X be a C -analytic subspace of R m and G a compact Lie group. The main result is a characterization of the real analytic G-principal fibre bundles over X for which the analytic and topological equivalence coincide. Moreover, we prove that these bundles can be classified also by means of homotopy classes of analytic maps of X into classifying spaces. Among the others results, are worth recording: a relative approximation theorem of continuous cross sections by analytic ones, a theorem about the equivalence between analytical and topological homotopy between cross sections and a covering homotopy theorem.  相似文献

In this paper we prove an equivariant version of the uniformization theorem for closed subanalytic sets: Let G be a Lie group and let M be a proper real analytic G-manifold. Let X be a closed subanalytic G-invariant subset of M. We study some properties of graphs (or, rather, graph sequences) defined by demanding that the number of subgraphs of a given type, with vertices in subsets of given sizes, approximatively equals the number expected in a random graph. It has been shown by several authors that several such conditions are quasi-random, but that there are exceptions. In order to understand this better, we investigate some new properties of this type. We show that these properties too are quasi-random, at least in some cases; however, there are also cases that are left as open problems, and we discuss why the proofs fail in these cases.The proofs are based on the theory of graph limits; and on the method and results developed by Janson (2011), this translates the combinatorial problem to an analytic problem, which then is translated to an algebraic problem.  相似文献

We suggest a method for solving the center-focus problem for real analytic systems with nonzero linear part. The cases of a linear center (pure imaginary eigenvalues of the linear part) and of a nilpotent center are considered.
