It is demonstrated that the cyclopentadienyl-free simple lanthanide amides [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(mu-Cl)Li(THF)(3)(Ln = La, Sm, Eu, Y, Yb) and Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)]3 (Ln = Y, Yb) are highly efficient catalysts for the guanylation of both aromatic and secondary amines with a high activity under mild conditions. It is found that these catalysts are compatible with a wide range of solvents and substrates.  相似文献

A highly efficient method for the synthesis of α-hydroxy phosphonates via lanthanide amides [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) catalyzed hydrophosphonylation of aromatic aldehydes was developed. The reactions produced the products in excellent yields in the presence of 0.1 mol % [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)La(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) at room temperature within 5 min. The existence of LiCl in the catalyst was a key factor affecting the catalytic activity. The mechanism for the process of high efficiency was proposed.  相似文献

The interaction of methoxyethyl functionalized indene compounds (C(9)H(6)-1-R-3-CH(2)CH(2)OMe, R =t-BuNHSiMe(2)(1), Me(3)Si (2), H (3)) with [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(mu-Cl)Li(THF)(3)(Ln=Yb (4), Eu (5)) produced a series of new ytterbium(II) and europium(II) complexes via tandem silylamine elimination/homolysis of the Ln-N (Ln=Yb, Eu) bond. Treatment of the lanthanide(III) amides [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(mu-Cl)Li(THF)(3)(Ln=Yb (4), Eu (5) with 2 equiv. of, 1,2 and 3, respectively, produced, after workup, the ytterbium(II) complexes [eta5:eta1-Me(2)Si(MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(5))(NHBu-t)](2)Yb(II) (6), (eta5:eta1-MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(5)SiMe(3))(2)Yb(II) (7), (eta5:eta1-MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(6))(2)Yb(II)(8) and the corresponding europium(II) complexes [eta5:eta1-Me(2)Si(MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(5))(NHBu-t)](2)Eu(II)(9), (eta5:eta1-MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(5)SiMe(3))(2)Eu(II)(10) and (eta5:eta1-MeOCH(2)CH(2)C(9)H(6))(2)Eu(II)(11) in moderate to good yield. In contrast, interaction of the corresponding indene compounds 1, 2 or 3 with the lanthanide amides [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln (Ln = Yb, Eu) was not observed, while addition of 0.5 equiv. of anhydrous LiCl to the corresponding reaction mixture produced, after workup, the corresponding ytterbium(II) or europium(II) complexes. All the new compounds were fully characterized by spectroscopic and elemental analyses. The structures of complexes, and were determined by single-crystal X-ray analyses. The catalytic activity of all the ytterbium(II) and europium(II) complexes on MMA polymerization was examined. It was found that all the ytterbium(II) and europium(II) complexes can function as single-component MMA polymerization catalysts. The temperature, solvent and ligand effects on the catalytic activity were studied.  相似文献

Simple silylamine elimination reactions of calix[4]-pyrrole [R(2)C(C(4)H(2)NH)](4) (R = Me (1), {-(CH(2))(5)-}(0.5) (2)) with 2 equiv. of [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) (Ln = Nd, Sm, Dy) in reflux toluene, afforded the novel dinuclear alkali metal-free trivalent lanthanide amido complexes (η(5):η(1):η(5):η(1)-R(8)-calix[4]-pyrrolyl){LnN(SiMe(3))(2)}(2) (R = Me, Ln = Nd (3), Sm (4), Dy (5); R = {-(CH(2))(5)-}(0.5), Ln = Nd (6), Sm(7)). The complexes were fully characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic analyses and single-crystal X-ray analyses. X-ray diffraction studies showed that each lanthanide metal was supported by bispyrrolyl anions in an η(5) fashion and along with three nitrogen atoms from N(SiMe(3))(2) and two other pyrroyl rings in η(1) modes formed the novel bent-sandwiched lanthanide amido bridged trivalent lanthanide amido complexes, similar to ansa-cyclopentadienyl ligand-supported lanthanide amides with respect to each metal center. The catalytic activities of these organolanthanide complexes as single component l-lactide polymerization catalysts were studied.  相似文献

A series of neutral and anionic bis(phenolate) lanthanide amides were synthesized by general metathesis reactions, and their reactivity was explored. Protolytic ligand exchange reactions of MBMPH2 (MBMP = 2,2'-methylene bis(6-tert-butyl-4-methyl-phenolate)) with [Ln{N(TMS)2}2(mu-Cl)(THF)]2 (TMS = SiMe3) afforded the desired bridged bis(phenolate) lanthanide chlorides [(MBMP)Ln(mu-Cl)(THF)2]2 [Ln = Nd (1), Yb (2)] in high isolated yields. These lanthanide chlorides were found to be useful precursors for the synthesis of the corresponding lanthanide derivatives. Reactions of 1 and 2 with 2 equiv of NaN(TMS)2 in THF produced the expected neutral bis(phenolate) lanthanide amido complexes (MBMP)Ln[N(TMS)2](THF)2 [Ln = Nd (3), Yb (4)] in high yields. Whereas the reactions of 1 and 2 with LiN(TMS)2 in a 1:4 molar ratio gave the anionic bis(phenolate) lanthanide amides as discrete ion-pair complexes [Li(THF)4][(MBMP)Ln{N(TMS)2}2] [Ln = Nd (5), Yb (6)] in high isolated yields. Further study revealed that 5 and 6 can also be conveniently synthesized in high yields by the direct reactions of MBMPH2 with [Ln{N(TMS)2}2(mu-Cl)(THF)]2 in a 2:1 molar ratio, and then with 4 equiv of nBuLi. The reactivity of the neutral and anionic bis(phenolate) lanthanide amides was comparatively investigated. It was found that the insertion reactions of carbodiimide into the Ln-N bond of neutral lanthanide amido complexes 3 and 4 gave the anticipated bis(phenolate) lanthanide guanidinate complexes [(mu-O-MBMP)Nd{(iPrN)2CN(TMS)2}]2 (7) and (MBMP)Yb[(iPrN)2CN(TMS)2] (8), respectively, in high yields, whereas the similar reaction of carbodiimide with anionic amido complex 5 provided the unexpected ligand-redistributed products, and the homoleptic ion-pair bis(phenolate) neodymium complex [Li(DME)2(THF)][(MBMP)2Nd(THF)2] (9) was finally isolated as one of the products. Furthermore, the anionic bis(phenolate) lanthanide amides showed higher catalytic activity for the polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone than the neutral ones. All of the complexes were characterized with elemental analysis and IR spectra, and the definitive molecular structures of 1-3 and 5-9 were provided by single-crystal X-ray analyses.  相似文献

The recently discovered LnZ3/M and LnZ2Z'/M methods of reduction (Ln = lanthanide; M = alkali metal; Z, Z' = monoanionic ligands that allow these combinations to generate "LnZ2" reactivity) have been applied to provide the first crystallographically characterized dinitrogen complexes of cerium, [C5Me5)2(THF)Ce]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2) and [(C5Me4H)2(THF)Ce]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2), so that the utility of 15N NMR spectroscopy with paramagnetic lanthanides could be determined. [(C5Me5)2(THF)Pr]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2) and [(C5Me4H)2(THF)Pr]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2) were also synthesized, crystallographically characterized, and studied by 15N NMR methods. The data were compared to those of [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2). [(C5Me5)2(THF)Ce]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2) and [(C5Me5)2(THF)Pr]2(mu-eta2.eta2-N2) are unlike their (C5Me4H)1- analogs in that the solvating THF molecules are cis rather than trans. Structural information on precursors, (C5Me4H)3Ce, (C5Me4H)3Pr, and the oxidation product [(C5Me5)2Ce]2(mu-O) is also presented.  相似文献

Aromatic aldehydes can be directly converted to the corresponding amides and alcohols in good to excellent yields by the treatment of aromatic aldehydes with lithium amide LiN(SiMe3)2 in the presence of catalytic lanthanide chlorides LnCl3 or by the treatment of aromatic aldehydes with a stoichiometric amount of lanthanide amides [(Me3Si)2N]3Ln(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 at ambient temperature. The effects of solvents, substitutents on the phenyl ring, and lanthanide metals on the reaction have been examined. The mechanism of the disproportionation reaction was proposed based on the experimental results.  相似文献

A convenient method for the synthesis of lanthanide alkoxo complexes supported by a carbon-bridged bis(phenolate) ligand 2,2'-methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenoxo) (MBMP2-) is described. The reaction of (C5H5)3Nd with MBMPH2 in a 1:1 molar ratio in THF gave the bis(phenolato)lanthanide complex (C5H5)Nd(MBMP)(THF)2 (1) in a nearly quantitative yield. Complex 1 further reacted with 1 equiv of 2-propanol in THF to yield the bis(phenolato)lanthanide isopropoxide [(MBMP)2Nd(mu-OPr(i))(THF)2]2 (2) in high yield. Complex 2 can also be synthesized by the direct reaction of (C5H5)3Nd with MBMPH2 in a 1:1 molar ratio and then with 1 equiv of 2-propanol in situ in THF. Thus, the analogue bis(phenolato)lanthanide alkoxides [(MBMP)2Ln(mu-OR)(THF)2]2 [R = Pr(i), Ln = Yb (3); R = Me, Ln = Nd (4), Yb (5); R = CH2Ph, Ln = Nd (6), Yb (7)] were obtained by the reactions of (C5H5)3Ln (Ln = Nd, Yb) with MBMPH2 and then with 2-propanol, methanol, or benzyl alcohol, respectively. The ytterbium complex {[(MBMP)2Yb(THF)2]2(mu-OCH2Ph)(mu-OH)} (8) was also isolated as a byproduct. The single-crystal structural analyses of complexes 1-3 and 8 revealed that the coordination geometry around lanthanide metal can be best described as a distorted tetrahedron in complex 1 and as a distorted octahedron in complexes 2, 3, and 8. A O-H...Yb agostic interaction was observed in complex 8. Complexes 2-7 were shown to be efficient catalysts for the controlled polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone.  相似文献

The scope of hypersilyl potassium, KHyp [Hyp = Si(SiMe3)3], as a silylation or deprotonation agent for some rare-earth bis(trimethylsilyl)amides has been explored. Thus, the reaction with Yb{N(SiMe3)2}2 affords the addition product [K][YbHyp{N(SiMe3)2}2] (2) in high yield, which contains a three-coordinate ytterbium atom, therefore representing the first example of a lanthanide silyl with a coordination number lower than 6. In contrast, deprotonation on the periphery is observed with the tris(amides) Ln{N(SiMe3)2}3 (Ln = Y, Yb) and compounds of the type [K][CH2Si(Me)2N(SiMe3)Ln{N(SiMe3)2}2] (Ln = Y (3), Yb (4)) are isolated. Crystallization of 3 from a mixture of benzene and heptane afforded the bis(benzene) solvate [(C6H6)2K][CH2Si(Me)2N(SiMe3)Y{N(SiMe3)2}2] (3a). The reaction between the strong bases nBuLi/tetramethylenediamine (TMEDA) or tBuLi with Y{N(SiMe3)2}3 or Yb{N(SiMe3)2}3 yielded the deprotonation product [(tmeda)Li][CH2Si(Me)2N(SiMe3)Y{N(SiMe3)2}2] (6) and the reduction product [LiYb{N(SiMe3)2}3] (7), respectively. Instead of the expected bimetallic product, the reaction between YbI(2) and 2 equiv of 3 gave the neutral complex [Y{CH2Si(Me)2N(SiMe3)}{N(SiMe3)2}(thf)] (8) in good yield. The compounds have been characterized by melting point, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography and for selected species by 1H, 13C, 29Si, and 171Yb NMR spectroscopy. For 3a and 4, the nature of the bonding between the carbanionic centers and the lanthanide and potassium cations was studied by density functional theory calculations.  相似文献

Two series of new lanthanide amido complexes supported by bis(indolyl) ligands with amino-coordinate-lithium as a bridge were synthesized and characterized. The interactions of [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(III)(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) with 2 equiv of 3-(CyNHCH(2))C(8)H(5)NH in toluene produced the amino-coordinate-lithium bridged bis(indolyl) lanthanide amides [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Cy = cyclohexyl, Ind = Indolyl, Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Dy (3), Yb (4)) in good yields. Treatment of [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] with THF gave new lanthanide amido complexes [μ-{[η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li(THF)}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Ln = Eu (5), Dy (6), Yb (7)), which can be transferred to amido complexes 2, 3, and 4 by reflux the corresponding complexes in toluene. Thus, two series of rare-earth-metal amides could be reciprocally transformed easily by merely changing the solvent in the reactions. All new complexes 1-7 are fully characterized including X-ray structural determination. The catalytic activities of these new lanthanide amido complexes for hydrophosphonylation of both aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes and various substituted aldimines were explored. The results indicated that these complexes displayed a high catalytic activity for the C-P bond formation with employment of low catalyst loadings (0.1 mol?% for aldehydes and 1 mol?% for aldimines) under mild conditions. Thus, it provides a convenient way to prepare both α-hydroxy and α-amino phosphonates.  相似文献

Heterobimetallic Lewis acids M 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln [M = Li, Na, K; Ln = lanthanide(III)] are exceptionally useful asymmetric catalysts that exhibit high levels of enantioselectivity across a wide range of reactions. Despite their prominence, important questions remain regarding the nature of the catalyst-substrate interactions and, therefore, the mechanism of catalyst operation. Reported herein are the isolation and structural characterization of 7- and 8-coordinate heterobimetallic complexes Li 3(THF) 4(BINOLate) 3Ln(THF) [Ln = La, Pr, and Eu], Li 3(py) 5(BINOLate) 3Ln(py) [Ln = Eu and Yb], and Li 3(py) 5(BINOLate) 3La(py) 2 [py = pyridine]. Solution binding studies of cyclohexenone, DMF, and pyridine with Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = Eu, Pr, and Yb] and Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = La and Eu; DMEDA = N, N'-dimethylethylene diamine] demonstrate binding of these Lewis basic substrate analogues to the lanthanide center. The paramagnetic europium, ytterbium, and praseodymium complexes Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln induce relatively large lanthanide-induced shifts on substrate analogues that ranged from 0.5 to 4.3 ppm in the (1)H NMR spectrum. X-ray structure analysis and NMR studies of Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = Lu, Eu, La, and the transition metal analogue Y] reveal selective binding of DMEDA to the lithium centers. Upon coordination of DMEDA, six new stereogenic nitrogen centers are formed with perfect diastereoselectivity in the solid state, and only a single diastereomer is observed in solution. The lithium-bound DMEDA ligands are not displaced by cyclohexenone, DMF, or THF on the NMR time scale. Use of the DMEDA adduct Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3La in three catalytic asymmetric reactions led to enantioselectivities similar to those obtained with Shibasaki's Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3La complex. Also reported is a unique dimeric [Li 6(en) 7(BINOLate) 6Eu 2][mu-eta (1),eta (1)-en] structure [en = ethylenediamine]. On the basis of these studies, it is hypothesized that the lanthanide in Shibasaki's Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln complexes cannot bind bidentate substrates in a chelating fashion. A hypothesis is also presented to explain why the lanthanide catalyst, Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3La, is often the most enantioselective of the Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln derivatives.  相似文献

Treatment of the bis(phosphanyl)amide (Ph2P)2NH with KH in boiling THF followed by crystallization from THF/n-pentane leads to [K(thf)n][N(PPh2)2] (n = 1.25, 1.5). Reaction of [K(thf)n][N(PPh2)2] with anhydrous yttrium or lanthanide trichlorides in a 3:1 molar ratio afforded homoleptic bis(phosphanyl)amide complexes [Ln[N(PPh2)2]3] (Ln = Y, Er) as large crystals in good yields. [Ln[N(PPh2)2]3] can also be obtained by reaction of the homoleptic bis(trimethylsilyl)amides of Group 3 metals and lanthanides [Ln[N(SiMe3)2]3] (Ln = Y, La, Nd) with three equivalents of (Ph2P)2NH in boiling toluene. The single-crystal X-ray structures of these complexes always show eta 2 coordination of the ligand. Dynamic behavior of the ligand is observed in solution and is caused by rapid exchange of the two different phosphorus atoms. [Ln[N(PPh2)2]3] was used as catalyst for the polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone. Significant differences in terms of correlation of theoretical and experimental molecular weights as well as polydispersities were observed depending on the nature of Ln. On the basis of the crystal structure of the heteroleptic complex [Lu[N(PPh2)2]3(thf)], we suggest that in the initiation step of epsilon-caprolactone polymerization the lactone adds to the lanthanide atom to form a sevenfold coordination sphere around the central atom.  相似文献

The unusual formation of planar trimethylenemethane (TMM) dianion complexes of lanthanide metallocenes, [(C5Me5)2Ln]2[mu-eta3:eta3-C(CH2)3] (Ln = Sm, 1; La, 2; Pr, 3; Nd, 4; Y, 5) has been examined by synthesizing examples with metals from La to Y to examine the effects of radial size on structure and to provide closed shell examples for direct comparison with density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Synthetic routes to 1-4 have been expanded from the [(C5Me5)2Ln][(mu-Ph)2BPh2]/neopentyl lithium reaction involving beta-methyl elimination to a [(C5Me5)2Ln][(mu-Ph)2BPh2]/isobutyl lithium route. The synthetic pathways are sensitive to metal radius. To obtain 5, the methylallyl complex, (C5Me5)2Y[CH2C(Me)CH2], 6, was synthesized and treated with [(C5Me5)2YH]x. In the Lu case, the neopentyl complex [(C5Me5)2LuCH2C(CH3)3]x, 7, was isolated instead of the TMM product. X-ray crystallography showed that the metrical parameters of the planar TMM dianions in each complex are similar. The structural data have been compared with DFT calculations on the closed-shell lanthanum and lutetium complexes that suggest only limited covalent interactions with the lanthanide ion. Benzophenone (2 equiv) reacts with 1 to expand the original four-carbon TMM skeleton to a dianionic bis(alkoxide) ligand containing a symmetrically substituted C=CH2 moiety in [(C5Me5)2Sm]2[mu-(OCPh2CH2)2C=CH2], 8. In this reaction, the TMM complex reacts as a bifunctional bisallylic reagent that generates an organic framework containing a central vinyl group.  相似文献

The [Z(2)Ln(THF)](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)) complexes (Z = monoanionic ligand) generated by reduction of dinitrogen with trivalent lanthanide salts and alkali metals are strong reductants in their own right and provide another option in reductive lanthanide chemistry. Hence, lanthanide-based reduction chemistry can be effected in a diamagnetic trivalent system using the dinitrogen reduction product, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)(THF)La](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)), 1, readily obtained from [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La][BPh(4)], KC(8), and N(2). Complex 1 reduces phenazine, cyclooctatetraene, anthracene, and azobenzene to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(12)H(8)N(2))], 2, (C(5)Me(5))La(C(8)H(8)), 3, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(14)H(10))], 4, and [(C(5)Me(5))La(mu-eta(2)-(PhNNPh)(THF)](2), 5, respectively. Neither stilbene nor naphthalene are reduced by 1, but 1 reduces CO to make the ketene carboxylate complex {[(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(4)-O(2)C-C=C=O](THF)}(2), 6, that contains CO-derived carbon atoms completely free of oxygen.  相似文献

The acid-base reactions between the rare-earth metal (Ln) tris(ortho-N,N-dimethylaminobenzyl) complexes [Ln(CH2C(H4NMe2-o)3] with one equivalent of the silylene-linked cyclopentadiene-amine ligand (C5Me4H)SiMe2NH(C6H2Me3-2,4,6) afforded the corresponding half-sandwich aminobenzyl complexes [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}Ln(CH2C6H4NMe2-o)(thf)] (2-Ln) (Ln=Y, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Lu) in 60-87 % isolated yields. The one-pot reaction between ScCl(3) and [Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)]Li2 followed by reaction with LiCH2C6H4NMe2-o in THF gave the scandium analogue [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}Sc(CH2C6H4NMe2-o)] (2-Sc) in 67 % isolated yield. 2-Sc could not be prepared by the acid-base reaction between [Sc(CH2C6H4NMe2-o)3] and (C5Me4H)SiMe2NH(C6H2Me3-2,4,6). These half-sandwich rare-earth metal aminobenzyl complexes can serve as efficient catalyst precursors for the catalytic addition of various phosphine P--H bonds to carbodiimides to form a series of phosphaguanidine derivatives with excellent tolerability to aromatic carbon-halogen bonds. A significant increase in the catalytic activity was observed, as a result of an increase in the metal size with a general trend of La>Pr, Nd>Sm>Gd>Lu>Sc. The reaction of 2-La with 1 equiv of Ph2PH yielded the corresponding phosphide complex [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}La(PPh2)(thf)2] (4), which, on recrystallization from benzene, gave the dimeric analogue [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}La(PPh2)]2 (5). Addition of 4 or 5 to iPrN=C=NiPr in THF yielded the phosphaguanidinate complex [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}La{iPrNC(PPh2)NiPr}(thf)] (6), which, on recrystallization from ether, afforded the ether-coordinated structurally characterizable analogue [{Me2Si(C5Me4)(NC6H2Me3-2,4,6)}La{iPrNC(PPh2)NiPr}(OEt2)] (7). The reaction of 6 or 7 with Ph2PH in THF yielded 4 and the phosphaguanidine iPrN=C(PPh2)NHiPr (3a). These results suggest that the catalytic formation of a phosphaguanidine compound proceeds through the nucleophilic addition of a phosphide species, which is formed by the acid-base reaction between a rare-earth metal o-dimethylaminobenzyl bond and a phosphine P--H bond, to a carbodiimide, followed by the protonolysis of the resultant phosphaguanidinate species by a phosphine P--H bond. Almost all of the rare earth complexes reported this paper were structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

A series of four coordinate rare earth metal amides with general formula ((CH2SiMe2)[(2,6- IPr2C6H3)N]2)LnN(SiMe3)2(THF) [(Ln = Yb(2), Y (3), Dy (4), Sm (5), Nd (6)] containing a diamido ligand (CH2SiMe2)[(2,6-iPr2C6H3)N]2(2-) with a CH2SiMe2 link were synthesized in good yields via reaction of [(Me3Si)2N]3Ln(III)(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 with the corresponding diamine (CH2SiMe2)[(2,6-iPr2C6H3)NH]2 (1). All compounds were fully characterized by spectroscopic methods and elemental analyses. The structures of complexes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 were determined by single-crystal X-ray analyses. Investigation of the catalytic properties of the complexes indicated that all complexes exhibited a high catalytic activity on the cyclotrimerization of aromatic isocyanates, which represents the first example of cyclopentadienyl-free rare earth metal complexes exhibiting a high catalytic activity and a high selectivity on cyclotrimerization of aromatic isocyanates. The temperatures, solvents, catalyst loading, and the rare earth metal effects on the catalytic activities of the complexes were examined.  相似文献

The reductive reactivity of lanthanide hydride ligands in the [(C5Me5)2LnH]x complexes (Ln = Sm, La, Y) was examined to see if these hydride ligands would react like the actinide hydrides in [(C5Me5)2AnH2]2 (An = U, Th) and [(C5Me5)2UH]2. Each lanthanide hydride complex reduces PhSSPh to make [(C5Me5)2Ln(mu-SPh)]2 in approximately 90% yield. [(C5Me5)2SmH]2 reduces phenazine and anthracene to make [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C12H8N2) and [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C10H14), respectively, but the analogous [(C5Me5)2LaH]x and [(C5Me5)2YH]2 reactions are more complicated. All three lanthanide hydrides reduce C8H8 to make (C5Me5)Ln(C8H8) and (C5Me5)3Ln, a reaction that constitutes another synthetic route to (C5Me5)3Ln complexes. In the reaction of [(C5Me5)2YH]2 with C8H8, two unusual byproducts are obtained. In benzene, a (C5Me5)Y[(eta(5)-C5Me4CH2-C5Me4CH2-eta(3))] complex forms in which two (C5Me5)(1-) rings are linked to make a new type of ansa-allyl-cyclopentadienyl dianion that binds as a pentahapto-trihapto chelate. In cyclohexane, a (C5Me5)2Y(mu-eta(8):eta(1)-C8H7)Y(C5Me5) complex forms in which a (C8H8)(2-) ring is metalated to form a bridging (C8H7)(3-) trianion.  相似文献

The tetracoordinated lanthanide amides [(Me3Si)2N]3Ln(µ‐Cl)Li(THF)3 were found to serve as highly active catalysts for the phospho‐Aldol‐Brook rearrangement reaction of various dialkyl phosphites and isatins. The reactions produced dialkyl 2‐oxoindolin‐3‐yl phosphates in good to excellent yields in the presence of 1 mol% [(Me3Si)2N]3La(µ‐Cl)Li(THF)3 at room temperature within 5 min. A mechanism for this highly efficient process was proposed. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Heteroatom Chem 23:449–456, 2012; View this article online at wileyonlinelibrary.com . The synthesis and structures of a series of lanthanide(II) and lanthanide(III) complexes supported by the amido ligand N(SiMe3)Ar were described. Several lanthanide(III) amide chlorides were synthesized by a metathesis reaction of LnCl3 with lithium amide, including {[(C6H5)(Me3Si)N]2YbCl(THF)}2.PhCH3 (1), [(C6H3-iPr2-2,6)(SiMe3)N]2YbCl(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3.PhCH3 (4), [(C6H3-iPr2-2,6)(SiMe3)N]YbCl2(THF)3 (6), and [(C6H3-iPr2-2,6)(SiMe3)N]2SmCl3Li2(THF)4 (7). The reduction reaction of 1 with Na-K alloy afforded bisamide ytterbium(II) complex [(C6H5)(Me3Si)N]2Yb(DME)2 (2). The same reaction for Sm gave an insoluble black powder. An analogous samarium(II) complex [(C6H5)(Me3Si)N]2Sm(DME)2 (3) was prepared by the metathesis reaction of SmI2 with NaN(C6H5)(SiMe3). The reduction reaction of ytterbium chloride 4 with Na-K alloy afforded monoamide chloride {[(C6H3-iPr2-2,6)(SiMe3)N]Yb(mu-Cl)(THF)2}2 (5), which is the first example of ytterbium(II) amide chloride, formed via the cleavage of the Yb-N bond. The same reduction reaction of 7 gave a normal bisamide complex [(C6H3-iPr2-2,6)(SiMe3)N]2Sm(THF)2 (8) via Sm-Cl bond cleavage. This is the first example for the steric effect on the outcome of the reduction reaction in lanthanide(II) chemistry. 5 can also be synthesized by the Na/K alloy reduction reaction of 6. All of the complexes were fully characterized including X-ray diffraction for 1-7.  相似文献

Reaction of Ln(OAr(1))(3)(THF)(2) (Ar(1)= [2,6-((t)Bu)(2)-4-MeC(6)H(2)] with carbodiimides (RNCNR) in toluene afforded the RNCNR coordinated complexes (Ar(1)O)(3)Ln(NCNR) (R = (i)Pr (isopropyl), Ln = Y (1) and Yb (2); R = Cy (cyclohexyl), Ln = Y (3)) in high yields. Treatment of 1 and 2 with 4-chloroaniline, respectively, at a molar ratio of 1:1 yielded the corresponding monoguanidinate complex (Ar(1)O)(2)Y[(4-Cl-C(6)H(4)N)C(NH(i)Pr)N(i)Pr](THF) (4) and (Ar(1)O)(2)Yb[(4-Cl-C(6)H(4)N)C(NH(i)Pr)N(i)Pr](THF) (5). Complexes 4 and 5 can be prepared by the reaction of Ln(OAr(1))(3)(THF)(2) with RNCNR and amine in toluene at a 1:1:1 molar ratio in high yield directly. A remarkable influence of the aryloxide ligand on this transformation was observed. The similar transformation using the less bulky yttrium complexes Y(OAr(2))(3)(THF)(2) (Ar(2) = [2,6-((i)Pr)(2)C(6)H(3)]) or Y(OAr(3))(3)(THF)(2) (Ar(3) = [2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)]) did not occur. Complexes Ln(OAr(1))(3)(THF)(2) were found to be the novel precatalysts for addition of RNCNR with amines, which represents the first example of catalytic guanylation by the lanthanide complexes with the Ln-O active group. The catalytic activity of Y(OAr(1))(3)(THF)(2) was found to be the same as that of monoguanidinate complex 4, indicating 4 is one of the active intermediates in the present process. The other intermediate, amide complex (Ar(1)O)(2)Ln[(2-OCH(3)-C(6)H(4)NH)(2-OCH(3)-C(6)H(4)NH(2))] (6), was isolated by protonolysis of 4 with 2-OCH(3)-C(6)H(4)NH(2). All the complexes were structurally characterized by X-ray single crystal determination.  相似文献
