Recently N. Nekrasov and A. Schwarz proposed a modification of the ADHM construction of instantons which produces instantons on a noncommutative deformation of ℝ4. In this paper we study the relation between their construction and algebraic bundles on noncommutative projective spaces. We exhibit one-to-one correspondences between three classes of objects: framed bundles on a noncommutative ℙ2, certain complexes of sheaves on a noncommutative ℙ3, and the modified ADHM data. The modified ADHM construction itself is interpreted in terms of a noncommutative version of the twistor transform. We also prove that the moduli space of framed bundles on the noncommutative ℙ2 has a natural hyperk?hler metric and is isomorphic as a hyperk?hler manifold to the moduli space of framed torsion free sheaves on the commutative ℙ2. The natural complex structures on the two moduli spaces do not coincide but are related by an SO(3) rotation. Finally, we propose a construction of instantons on a more general noncommutative ℝ4 than the one considered by Nekrasov and Schwarz (a q-deformed ℝ4). ADHM invariants are equivariant virtual invariants of moduli spaces of twisted cyclic representations of the ADHM quiver in the abelian category of coherent sheaves of a smooth complex projective curve X. The goal of the present paper is to present a generalization of this construction employing a more general stability condition which depends on a real parameter. This yields a chamber structure in the ADHM theory of curves, residual ADHM invariants being defined by equivariant virtual integration in each chamber. We construct allSU(2) Yang-Mills instantons onS 4 that admit a certain symmetry (“quadrupole symmetry”). This is accomplished by an equivariant version of the “ADHM monad” classification of instantons. This work is part of an attempt to better understand the structure of non-self-dual Yang-Mills connections with the same symmetry.  We introduce a quantum Minkowski space-time based on the quantum group SU(2) q extended by a degree operator and formulate a quantum version of the anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equation. We construct solutions of the quantum equations using the classical ADHM linear data, and conjecture that, up to gauge transformations, our construction yields all the solutions. We also find a deformation of Penrose's twistor diagram, giving a correspondence between the quantum Minkowski space-time and the classical projective space ℙ3. The Drinfeld-Manin construction of U(N) instanton is reformulated in the ADHM formulism, which gives explicit general solutions of the ADHM constraints for U(N) (N ≥ 2k - 1) k-instantons. For the N 〈 2k - 1 case, implicit results are given systematically as further constraints. We find that this formulism can easily be generalized to the noncommutative case, where the explicit solutions are also obtained.  相似文献

We prove that self-dual gauge fields in type I superstring theory are equivalent to configurations of Dirichlet 5-branes, by showing that the world-sheet theory of a Dirichlet 1-brane moving in a background of 5-branes includes an “ADHM sigma model”. This provides an explicit construction of the equivalent self-dual gauge field. We also discuss type II.  相似文献

Recently P. Braam pointed out that Nahm's adaption of the ADHM procedure to the case of monopoles equally well applies to instantons over flat tori, relating them to instantons over the first Brillouin zone. We show that this construction has an inverse. Hence the Nahm transform actually is a duality transform.  相似文献

A simple formalism for the BPS monopole is obtained by generalizing the ADHM construction of multi-instantons to a Hilbert space. Both the potential itself and the Green's functions for different isospin can be obtained with very little effort from the instanton formulae.  相似文献

We show that any self-dual SU (2) monopole may be constructed either by Ward's twistor method, or Nahm's use of the ADHM construction. The common factor in both approaches is an algebraic curve whose Jacobian is used to linearize the non-linear ordinary differential equations which arise in Nahm's method. We derive the non-singularity condition for the monopole in terms of this curve and apply the result to prove the regularity of axially symmetric solutions.  相似文献

We study the full set of solutions to the ADHM equation as an affine algebraic set, the ADHM variety. We determine a filtration of the ADHM variety into subvarieties according to the dimension of the stabilizing subspace. We compute dimension, and analyze singularity and reducibility of all of these varieties. We also establish a connection between arbitrary solutions of the ADHM equation and coherent perverse sheaves on P2P2 in the sense of Kashiwara.  相似文献

We explicitly construct massive (0,4) supersymmetric ADHM sigma models which have heterotic p-brane solitons as their conformal fixed points. These yield the familiar gauge 5-brane and a new 1-brane solution which preserve half and a quarter of the space-time supersymmetry, respectively. We also discuss an analogous construction for the type 11 NS-NS p-branes using (4,4) supersymmetric models.  相似文献

The ADHM construction establishes a one-to-one correspondence between framed torsion free sheaves on the projective plane and stable framed representations of a quiver with relations in the category of complex vector spaces. This paper studies the geometry of moduli spaces of representations of the same quiver with relations in the abelian category of coherent sheaves on a smooth complex projective curve X. In particular it is proven that this moduli space is virtually smooth and related by relative Beilinson spectral sequence to the curve counting construction via stable pairs of Pandharipande and Thomas. This yields a new conjectural construction for the local Donaldson-Thomas theory of curves as well as a natural higher rank generalization.  相似文献

The moduli space of k G-instantons on \( {\mathbb{R}^4} \) for a classical gauge group G is known to be given by the Higgs branch of a supersymmetric gauge theory that lives on Dp branes probing D(p + 4) branes in Type II theories. For p = 3, these (3 + 1) dimensional gauge theories have \( \mathcal{N} = 2 \) supersymmetry and can be represented by quiver diagrams. The F and D term equations coincide with the ADHM construction. The Hilbert series of the moduli spaces of one instanton for classical gauge groups is easy to compute and turns out to take a particularly simple form which is previously unknown. This allows for a G invariant character expansion and hence easily generalisable for exceptional gauge groups, where an ADHM construction is not known. The conjectures for exceptional groups are further checked using some new techniques like sewing relations in Hilbert Series. This is applied to Argyres-Seiberg dualities.  相似文献

We prove that the natural hyper-Kähler metrics on the moduli space of chargek instantons over Euclidean four-space and on the space of ADHM matrices coincide. We use this to deduce formulae relating expressions in the curvature of a connection to invariant polynomials in the ADHM matrices corresponding to this connection. These arise from consideration of the group of symmetries acting on the moduli spaces.  相似文献

There is given a construction of the entropy of a dynamical system on arbitrary MV-algebra M. If M is the MV-algebra of characteristic functions of a σ-algebra (isomorphic to the σ-algebra), then the construction leads to the Kolmogorov–Sinaj entropy. If M is the MV-algebra (tribe) of fuzzy sets, then the construction coincides with the Maličky modification of the Kolmogorov–Sinaj entropy for fuzzy sets (Maličky and Riečan, 1986; Riečan and Mundici, 2002; Riečan and Neubrunn, 1997).  相似文献
