The reactions (α, 3nγ) and (α, α′nγ) on 88Sr, 90Zr and 92Mo were used to populate excited states in 89Zr, 91Mo and 93Ru. The de-excitation of these states was studied by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy. The short-lived radioactivity of the 92Mo target was measured in order to study the decay of 93Ru. Many new levels were observed, particularly in 91Mo. They are interpreted as due to the coupling of a g92 neutron hole with known excited states in 90Zr, 92Mo and 94Ru.  相似文献

The γ-decays of the energy levels of 92Nb and 94Tc were measured following the 92Zr(p, n)92Nb and 94Mo(p, n)94Tc reactions. For 92Nb the γ-ray thresholds were measured and a detailed excitation function was obtained near the 93Zr ground-state isobaric analog resonance. Also, γ-γ coincidence measurements with two Ge(Li) detectors were made for both 92Nb and 94Tc. The coincidence measurements determined ten energy levels in 92Nb and two levels in 94Tc. A comparison with particle transfer reactions is used to elucidate the structure of 92Nb levels observed here but not seen in the transfer reactions.  相似文献

Isomer ratios for the reaction 29Si(18O, p2n)44gSc, 44gSc have been deduced from activity measurements for projectile energies between 30 and 99 MeV. Statistical model calculations show that the isomer ratio dependence on projectile energy up to about 80 MeV can be adequately described by assuming a fixed ratio of quadrupole to dipole γ-ray strengths. Such a ratio of E2/E1 strengths agrees with corresponding values deduced from the literature. The values of the γ-ray strength ratios needed to fit the experimental isomer ratios are extremely sensitive to the relative amounts of quadrupole γ-ray admixture and to the presence of discrete levels other than those which conform to the yrast line.  相似文献

We have measured isomeric cross-section ratios for the photonuclear reactions 181Ta(γ, 3n) 178m,gTa, 142Nd(γ, n)141m,gNd, 110Pd(γ, n)109m1,m2,gPd, 108Pd(γ, n)107m1,m2Pd, 100Mo(γ, n) 99m,gMo, 92Mo(γ, n)91m,gMo and 89Y(γ, n)88m1,m2Y. The experimental results were compared with statistical model calculations according to the method of Huizenga and Vandenbosch. The applicability and limits of this method, especially the simple decision model for the population of the isomeric state and the ground state of the residual nucleus, were tested and discussed. Additionally, it is shown that for photonuclear reactions on magic nuclei, contributions of a direct reaction mechanism are not negligible.  相似文献

The isomer ratios for nuclei 104m,g Ag, 110m,g In, 108m,g In as products of the photonuclear reactions 107Ag(γ, 3n)104m,g Ag, 113In(γ, 3n)110m,g In, 109Ag(γ, 5n)104m,g Ag, 115In)(γ, 5n)110m,g In, 115In(γ, 7n)108m,g In are obtained. The Bremsstrahlung of electrons with energies within 32–84 MeV from the LU-40 linear accelerator was used for the irradiation of targets. The energy resolution and mean current of the electron beam were ~1% and 5 μA, respectively. The induced activity was used to obtain experimental isomer ratios. An HPGe spectrometer with an energy resolution of 1.9 keV for 60Co γ-line 1332 keV was used to acquire the instrumental γ-ray spectra of the activation products. A set of serial measurements with various acquisition times was performed. The cooling times varied from 5 seconds to several hours for Ag and up to tens of hours for In specimens. The obtained experimental isomer ratios are compared with the results from theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Cross sections were measured for (n,p) reactions on 92, 95, 96, 97, 98mo, (n, α) reactions on 92, 98Mo, and (n, 2n) reaction on 100Mo for the first time in the neutron energy range of 5.9 to 9.6 MeV. The quasi-monoenergetic neutrons were produced via the 2H(d, n)3He reaction using a deuterium gas target at a compact cyclotron. Use was made of the activation technique in combination with high-resolution γ-ray spectroscopy. Some systematic trends observed in the excitation functions are discussed. For the various isotopes of molybdenum, with increasing mass of the target nucleus, the thresholds of (n,p) and (n,α) reactions increase and the magnitudes of cross sections near the maxima of the excitation functions appear to decrease. Hauser-Feshbach calculations show that in general the excitation functions of (n, p) and (n, α) reactions are described within a factor of 2 by the statistical model only up to about 8 MeV; the (n,2n) reaction on 100Mo, however, is reproduced well from threshold up to 15 MeV by this model.  相似文献

The level structure of92Ru has been studied by means of γ-ray spectroscopy. The nucleus was produced by the58Ni(40Ca, α2p)92Ru reaction at beam energies of 147 and 187 MeV. The NORDBALL detector system including particle selection was used. A large number of new levels with excitation energies up to 11.3 MeV and spin values up to 22 or 23 units of angular momentum have been established. The level scheme is compared with recent shell model calculations using100Sn as a core. Some systematics of the g 9 2/?2 configuration is discussed and a strong correlation between the levels in90Mo and92Ru is found.  相似文献

The isomeric ratios of the yields for 190m,g Ir and 196m,g Au have been measured in the (γ,n) reaction in the near-threshold region at γ-ray energies of 12 and 12.5 MeV. The isomeric ratios for 198m,g Au have been measured in the (d,p) and (n,γ) reactions. The statistical nature of the (γ,n) and (n,γ) reactions is shown.  相似文献

Abstract According to the regulation of growing and decay of artificial radioactive nuclide, a formula used to subtract the effect of characteristic γ-ray of the others to that of measured reaction was deduced. And then the cross sections of 120Te (n, 2n)119mTe reaction induced by neutrons around 14 MeV were measured by activation relative to the 93Nb (n, 2n)92mNb. In the process of the cross sections measured to be calculated, it was subtracted that the effect of characteristic γ-ray of 126Te (n, p)126Sb to that of measured 120Te (n, 2n)119mTe reaction using the formula deduced. The experimental results were (689±37) and (750±41) mb at the neutron energies of (13.5±0.3) and (14.6±0.3) MeV, respectively. Measurements were carried out by γ-detection using a coaxial HPGe detector. As samples, spectroscopically pure tellurium powder has been used. The fast neutrons were produced by the T(d, n)4He reaction. The neutron energies in these measurements were determined by the method of cross-section ratios between 90Zr (n, 2n) 89m+gZr and 93Nb (n, 2n) 92mNb reactions.  相似文献

The γ-decay and half life of the t1/2=60(3) ns Iπ=8+ isomer in100Cd have been studied with a recoil catcher setup inside the multidetector π-array OSIRIS. Evaporation neutrons and charged particles from the reaction58Ni+46Ti were measured in coincidence with delayed γ-rays. Six new γ-ray transitions with intensities of 1–10% of the main γ-ray cascade were found, two new states established and firm spin-parity assignments were made to all states below the isomer. The new states were identified as the 4+ and 6+ members of the proton πg9/2 ?2 multiplet.  相似文献

In 145Eu a high-spin isomer with E level = 8528 keV and T 1/2 = (3.7 ± 0.4) ns has been observed. The data were obtained by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the reaction 122Sn(27Al,4n)145Eu at 127 MeV performed at the NORD-BALL spectrometer in Roskilde.  相似文献

The level structure of 153Gd has been studied by means of the 150Sm(α, n)153Gd reaction. The experiment included measurements of γ-γ coincidences, γ-angular distributions, γ-ray yield at 17 MeV and 19 MeV beam energy, and γ-ray multiplicities. Favoured and unfavoured members of the positive-parity i13,2, band were identified. States belonging to the h9,2 and f7,2 band structures have been located.Surprisingly low multiplicity numbers were deduced for 153Gd γ-rays. This may indicate that the (α, n) reaction is not a pure compound reaction. The level structure of 153Gd has been compared to the known structure of other odd-mass N = 89 nuclei, and a close similarity is found.The positive-parity band structure has been compared to calculations with the pairing-plus-recoil model. Good agreement is obtained without any ad hoc Coriolis attenuation.  相似文献

Excited states in the doubly-odd nucleus84Rb have mainly been studied via the (α,n) reaction by means of in- beam γ-ray spectroscopy. Two new isomers have been found, a 5? level at 467.1 keV and a 5(+) level at 544.2 keV with half-lives of 9(2) ns. and 11(1) ns, respectively. On top of the 5(+) isomer a level sequence with increasing spins up to 10 ? and probably positive parity has been identified. These states are ascribed to the configuration (πg9/2?vg9/2).  相似文献

The high-spin states in 90Nb have been studied by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the 35 MeV 89Y(α, 3nγ)90Nb and 33 MeV 90Zr(3He, p2nγ)90Nb reactions. A new isomeric state with half-life 0.44±0.02 σs and Jπ = 11? has been located in this nucleus. The level scheme derived from these measurements is compared with shell-model calculations.  相似文献

Activation techniques have been used to measure the cross sections at 15.1 MeV neutron energy for the following reactions: 82Se(n, 2n)81m+gSe, 81Br(n, 2n)80m+gBr, and 45Sc(n, 2n) 44m+gSc. Isomeric cross-section ratios were evaluated by applying the method of least squares to the time behavior of γ-ray activity following the ground-state decay of each isomeric pair. The absolute cross section σm for the formation of the metastable state was measured by the mixed-powder method with the 27Al(n, α)24Na reaction as the monitor. The cross section σg for the formation of the ground state was then determined by using the isomeric cross-section ratio. The sum of σm and σg for each reaction is compared with the theoretical value obtained from calculations based on the statistical model for the formation of a compound nucleus and its subsequent emission of neutrons.  相似文献

The decays of neutron-deficient 21-sec97Ag, 44.5-sec98Ag, 15-sec99mAg, and 124-sec99gAg nuclides have been investigated with the LISOL facility. Sources were produced by the92Mo(14N, ypxn) reactions on an enriched92Mo target. Positron-, x-, and γ-ray singles spectra have been performed on mass separated samples. The results are consistent with 9/2+ ground state in99Ag and a high (6+ or 7+) spin and parity for98Ag.  相似文献

The γ-radiation following capture of non-polarized and polarized thermal neutrons in 35Cl has been investigated. Of the 420 γ-rays ascribed to the 35Cl(n,γ)36Cl reaction, 236 have been placed in a 36Cl decay scheme. The branching ratios and the excitation energies (with 0.04–0.9 keV errors) of 72 bound states have been determined. Unambiguous spin assignments are given for 11 levels. The multipole mixing ratios for some primary γ-ray transitions have been determined. There exists a significant correlation between (d, p) stripping strengths and (n, γ) reduced primary transition probabilities for transitions to ln(d, p) = 0 levels.  相似文献

The level structure of123Xe has been studied with the114Cd (12C, 3n) and?Cd (13C, 4n) reactions using in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy. The yrast cascade on the low lying odd parity states originating from theh 11/2 neutron orbital has been investigated yielding lifetimesτ of 18(3) ps, 2.2 (4) ns and 17(2) ns for the 15/2?, 11/2? and 9/2? states, respectively. Theg-factor of thet 1/2=5.2 μs isomer has been measured to beg=?0.256(2). From the time differential observation of the electric quadrupole interaction in a114Cd single crystal the spin of this isomer has been determined to be 7/2 and from the coupling constante 2 Qq/h=116(2) MHz the quadrupole moment was deduced. The results are discussed in the framework of the triaxial rotor plus particle model.  相似文献
