The objective of the present study was to describe more precisely experimental data on elastic scattering in the 16O + 16O system at E lab = 124, 145, 250, 350, and 480 MeV and in the 16O + 12C system at E lab = 132, 170, 181, 200, 230, 260, and 281 MeV. The role of exchange interaction in the region of backward angles is investigated. The coefficient of incompressibility of nuclear matter is estimated at K = 205 MeV ± 15%.  相似文献

Six quasi-stationary states of 13Be populated in the 14C(11B,12N) 13Be reaction at Elab = 190 MeV are reported. A Q-value = −39.60(9) MeV and a mass excess, M.E.= 33.95(9) MeV, have been found for the lowest observed spectral line. The ground state is unstable with respect to one-neutron emission by 0.80(9) MeV. Excitation energies of 1.22(10), 2.10(16), 4.14(12), 5.09(14) and 7.0(2) MeV have been obtained for the observed spectral lines.  相似文献

Evaporation residue mass distributions measured recently for several heavy-ion induced fusion reactions are analyzed. The reactions investigated are 19F on 12C (Elab = 50, 63 and 76 MeV), 19F on 27Al (Elab = 40, 63, 76 and 92 MeV) and 16O on 27Al (Elab = 30, 40, 60 and 80 MeV). Starting from the assumption that a compound nucleus is formed which decays by multiple emission of neutrons, protons, α-particles and γ-rays with probabilities as predicted by the statistical theory the mass spectra of the stable or long-lived products are calculated. It is shown that they are in good agreement with the experimental data, if reasonable assumptions are made about the level densities and the shape of the yrast line. The possibility to use these methods for studying the properties of highly excited nuclei at high angular momentum is investigated.  相似文献

Excitation functions for 12C(6Li, 6Li)12C (gs, 4.43 MeV) have been measured at 10 angles (40° ? θcm ? 160°) over the energy range 20 MeV < Elab < 36 MeV. A single anomaly of width Γ ≈ 800 keV is observed at Elab = 22.8 MeV. The results casts doubts on the resonant two-step α-exchange mechanism suggested to occur in this system.  相似文献

Elastic scattering angular distributions for 10, 11B + 40Ca at Elab = 46.6 and 51.5 MeV and12C+39K at Elab = 54 and 63 MeV have been measured and compared with Woods-Saxon and double-folding optical models. The oscillatory structure observed previously for 12C + 40Ca disappears when the projectile is changed to 10,11B or the target is changed to 39K. The angular distributions are adequately reproduced by a double-folding analysis, which employs the nucleon-nucleon potential of Bertsch et al., with a range of real normalizations NR = 1.0–1.38. This same range of real normalizations was also able to describe previously measured 10,11B, 12C + 27A1 data. The double-folding analysis of 12C + 40Ca scattering indicates that this system behaves differently from neighboring systems.  相似文献

The 16O(d, α)14N, 14N(d, α)12C and 12C(d, α)10B reactions at Ed = 40MeV and the 12C(α d)114N at Eα = 55 MeV were investigated. A total of seventeen transitions are analysed in terms of one-step, zero-range DWBA calculations, using the two-particle coefficients of fractional parentage obtained from the Cohen-Kurath Op shell wave functions. For most transitions, fair agreement is obtained between experiment and calculation, possible exceptions being the transition to the Ex = 4.43 MeV, Jπ = 2+ state in 12C and to the Ex = 2.15 MeV, Jπ = 1+ state in 10B, for which the calculations predict too much L = 0 strength. Where possible, a comparison with previous (p, 3He) results is made. In 14N a state at Ex = 11.04 MeV was observed for which the values (Jπ; T) = (3+; 0) are suggested. In 12C we found, in addition to the well known T = 0 states, two relatively sharp T = 0 states at Ex = 19.50 ± 0.10 and 20.55 ± 0.10 MeV. The shape and strength of the angular distribution for the transitions to these states can be approximately accounted for by the calculations, although no one-to-one correspondence between observed and predicted levels could be established.  相似文献

Total fusion cross sections have been measured for the following reactions and energy intervals: 12C + 10B, Ec.m. = 2.10–5.38 MeV; 12C + 11B, Ec.m. = 2.10–5.99 MeV; 14N + 10B, Ec.m. = 2.64–5.97 MeV. Absolute cross sections were extracted from the prompt γ-rays emitted by the various residual nuclei and measured by two large NaI detectors. No resonance structure was observed in the three reactions. The elastic scattering excitation function was also measured at θc.m. = 90.4° for 12C + 10B over the energy range Ec.m. = 3.18–6.82 MeV. Optical model potentials were found which could consistently describe both the fusion and elastic scattering data.  相似文献

The total reaction cross section for 16O + 16O has been measured at six energies between Ec.m. = 6.8 and 11.9 MeV. Cross sections for the production of protons, alphas, neutrons, deuterons, 31S, 30P, 12C(g.s.) + 20Ne(g.s.) and the relative γ-yield were obtained with a variety of experimental methods. No 3H or 3He were found. All cross sections are normalized to 16O + 16O elastic scattering at θc.m. = 90°, which was measured separately with high precision between Ec.m. = 7.3 and 14.4 MeV. The elastic scattering and relative γ-yield of 12C + 12C were measured between Ec.m. = 3.9 and 7.5 MeV. The elastic scattering and neutron yield of 12C + 16O were measured between Ec.m. = 5.4 and 10.1 MeV.  相似文献

Alpha particles have been measured in coincidence with heavy recoil nuclei from the 28Si + 12C reaction. At Elab = 87 MeV angular correlations for alphas between 15° and 55° and heavy ions at angles ?9°, ?12° and ?15° have been taken. An excitation function of coincidence events with θα = 30° and θHI = ?12° has been measured for 84 MeV < Elab < 91.5 MeV. The results are well described by a statistical-model calculation for compound nucleus decay. No evidence is found for additional processes.  相似文献

Total reaction cross sections have been measured for the following reactions and energy intervals: 11B+11B, Ec.m. = 1.56–3.65 MeV; 10B+11B, Ec.m. = 1.61–3.94 MeV; 10B+10B, Ec.m. = 1.84–3.66 MeV. Absolute cross sections were extracted from the prompt γ-rays emitted by the various residual nuclei and measured by large NaI detectors. The absolute accuracy of the method is thoroughly discussed and tested via a measurement of the 12C+12C reaction. For all three boron cases measured neither intermediate nor giant type resonances were observed. The cross sections are well described by optical model calculations based on lowenergy 11B+11B elastic scattering parameter sets.  相似文献

The data on the excitation functions of20Ne(16O,12C)24Mg,20Ne(16O,12C)24Mg*(1.37, 2+),20Ne(16O,12C)24Mg*(4.12, 4++4.24, 2+) +20Ne(16O,12C*(4.44, 2+))24Mg,20Ne(16O,12C)24Mg*(6.01, 4++6.43, 0+),20Ne(16O,20Ne)16O,20Ne(16O,20Ne*(1.63, 2+))16O, and20Ne(16O,20Ne*(4.25, 4+))16O reactions atθ lab=13° fromE c.m.=22.8 to 38.6 MeV have been subjected to a statistical analysis comprising of the calculations of the distribution of cross sections, deviation functions, cross-correlation functions, summed excitation functions, cross-channel correlation coefficients and coherence widths. The analysis confirms the existence of nonstatistical structures atE c.m.=24.6, 27.8, 31.7 and 35.5 MeV, and identifies a new structure of the same nature atE c.m. =25.6 MeV.  相似文献

Scattering of polarized 7Li by 12C and polarized 6Li by 16O at Elab~20 MeV is studied by both cluster folding interactions and double folding ones, where projectile virtual excitation effects are included by the coupled-channel method. The results strongly depend on the choices of interactions and reaction mechanisms reflecting low Coulomb barrier effects.  相似文献

Excited states of 16F have been investigated with the reaction 14N(3He, np)15O at E = 10.5 and 12 MeV in kinematically complete experiments. Proton groups corresponding to the decays of intermediate 16F states were observed at various angles with counter telescopes in time coincidence with the associated neutrons detected at θnlab = 0° with a time-of-flight spectrometer. Excitation energies and decay widths Γp0 of these states have been extracted from the proton spectra. Lower limits for the orbital angular momentum in the decay channel and for the spin of the states have been deduced from the obtained angular correlations. By comparison with the reaction 14N(3He, pp)15N measured at E = 13 MeV, pairs of T = 1 16F parent/16O analog states have been identified. Jπ assignments and shell-model configurations are discussed on the basis of the selectivity of the reactions measured.  相似文献

The energy damped reaction products from37Cl+12C,27Al,48Ti and16O+48Ti were measured over a wide range of angles (typically 18°<θ lab<70°), incident energies (160 <E lab(37Cl)<200 MeV,E lab(16O)=118 MeV) and charges Z, including two systems (37Cl+37Al and16O+48Ti) which lead to the same compound nucleus64Zn with the same excitation energy and comparable angular momenta. The angular dependences of total kinetic energy (TKE) and dσ/dθ were decomposed into two components (forward peaked and nearly constant at backward angles), and the elemental TKE and cross sections were derived. The backward components of37Cl+27Al and16O+48Ti exhibit very different Z-distributions, indicating that the fragments do not originate from compound nucleus decay. The results can be understood in terms of an energy damping process.  相似文献

The inverse scattering problem at a fixed energy for a complex-valued potential is solved in the WKB approximation. The method is used to reconstruct the optical potential for elastic 16O + 16O scattering at E lab = 350 MeV. An analysis of the scattering 16O-19F measured at the energies Elab = 21.4, 25.8 and 32.0 MeV has been carried out by using the core-exchange model. The value of cfp 〈19F|}16O, triton〉 obtained in the present analysis is consistent with that obtained from the analysis of 19F (3He, 6Li)16O when the recoil effects are included.  相似文献

We investigate a mechanism which shows that the experimental determination of the direction of the final spins of the nuclei in deep inelastic collisions yields distinct information on the strength of the radial dissipative forces since, in certain systems, the classical trajectories are accordingly scattered to positive or to negative deflection angles. The radial friction constant marking off both regions from each other amounts to cr ≈ 2 × 10?21 MeV fm sec for Ar + Th at Elabinc = 388 MeV and to cr ≈ 1 × 10?21 MeV fm sec for O + Pb at Elabinc = 315 MeV.  相似文献
