This paper targets to investigate the solution of linear and nonlinear ordinary differential equations with fuzzy initial condition. Here, two improved Euler type methods have been proposed in order to obtain numerical solution of the problem. Along with this, an exact methodology is also discussed. The obtained results are depicted in term of plots to show the efficiency of the proposed methods. The solutions are compared with the known results and are found that those obtained by the proposed methods are tighter than the results from the existing method.  相似文献

In this paper we shortly complete our previous considerations on interval versions of Adams multistep methods [M. Jankowska, A. Marciniak, Implicit interval multistep methods for solving the initial value problem, Comput. Meth. Sci. Technol. 8(1) (2002) 17–30; M. Jankowska, A. Marciniak, On explicit interval methods of Adams–Bashforth type, Comput. Meth. Sci. Technol. 8(2) (2002) 46–57; A. Marciniak, Implicit interval methods for solving the initial value problem, Numerical Algorithms 37 (2004) 241–251]. It appears that there exist two families of implicit interval methods of this kind. More considerations are dealt with two new kinds of interval multistep methods based on conventional well-known Nyström and Milne–Simpson methods. For these new interval methods we prove that the exact solution of the initial value problem belongs to the intervals obtained. Moreover, we present some estimations of the widths of interval solutions. Some conclusions bring this paper to the end.  相似文献

In this paper the global existence of weak solutions for the Vlasov-Poisson-Fokker-Planck equations in three dimensions is proved with an L1Lp initial data. Also, the global existence of weak solutions in four dimensions with small initial data is studied. A convergence of the solutions is obtained to those built by E. Horst and R. Hunze when the Fokker-Planck term vanishes. In order to obtain the a priori necessary estimates a sequence of approximate problems is introduced. This sequence is obtained starting from a non-linear regulation of the problem together with a linearization via a time retarded mollification of the non-linear term. The a priori bounds are reached by means of the control of the kinetic energy in the approximate sequence of problems. Then, the proof is completed obtaining the equicontinuity properties which allow to pass to the limit.  相似文献

We study an initial boundary value problem for the symmetric hyperbolic quasilinear system of the equations of ideal magneto-hydrodynamics with a perfectly conducting wall boundary condition. Existence of a unique classical solution is proved inside a suitable class of functions of Sobolev type. Moreover, solutions inside the above class are shown to depend continuously in strong norm on the data.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a two-dimensional diffusion equation on the closed right halfspace satisfying a boundary condition for which the minimum principle fails. As a consequence, the associated Cauchy initial value problem fails to be well-posed. In particular, solutions need not exist and, when they do exist, they may do so for only a finite length of time. Among other things, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition on the initial data in order that the solution exist for all time and remain non-negative.  相似文献

In the present note, the theory of shift differentiability for the Cauchy problem is extended to the case of an initial boundary value problem for a conservation law. For a compact Riemannian manifold NRK without boundary, we establish the existence of strong solutions to the heat flow for harmonic maps from Rn to N, and the regularizing rate estimate of the strong solutions. Moreover, we obtain the analyticity in spatial variables of the solutions. The uniqueness of the mild solutions in C([0,T]; W1,n) is also considered in this paper.  相似文献

Summary The paper obtains an explicit solution of the characteristic initial value problem for the wave equation in odd spatial dimensions with radial initial data via solution of a characteristic boundary value problem involving a singular differential equation. The solution of the latter problem is obtained by a modified Riemann method. It is shown that on the time axis the solution of the original problem reduces to the solution that is obtainable by the use of Asgeirsson’s mean value theorem. The initial boundary value problem for a nonlinear nonhomogeneous equation of Sobolev type used for modeling nonstationary processes in semiconductors is examined. It is proved that this problem is uniquely solvable at least locally in time. Sufficient conditions for the problem to be solvable globally in time are found, as well as sufficient conditions for the local (but not global) solvability. In the case of only local solvability, upper and lower estimates for the time when a solution exists are determined in the form of either explicit or quadrature formulas.  相似文献

We consider the initial boundary value problem for the Navier-Stokes equations with boundary conditions . We assume that may have jump discontinuities at finitely many points ξ1;. . .,ξm of the boundary ϖΩ of a bounded domain Ω ⊂ ℝ2. We prove that this problem has a unique generalized solution in a finite time interval or for small initial and boundary data.
