In order to realize high energy density physics and plasma physics research at HIRFL-CSR, a magnetic alloy (MA)-loaded cavity has been studied. According to the theoretical calculation and simulation for the MA-loaded cavity, we achieved a better result. The MA-loaded cavity had a higher μQf value, with a higher shunt impedance and a higher accelerating gradient. The accelerating gradient was about 95 kV/m at 1.8003 MHz, 130 kV/m at 0.9000 MHz. Compared with the ferrite-loaded cavities that are used at HIRFL-CSR, with about 10 kV/m accelerating gradient, the MA-loaded cavity obviously has an advantage. The results of the theoretical calculation and the simulation, which meet the design requirements are in good agreement.  相似文献

Millimeter wave absorption measurements are usually complicated by scattering from the sample and by standing waves resulting from internal reflections. These problems can be largely overcome by using an untuned cavity resonator. The dielectric properties of the sample are determined from a measurement of the change in cavity Q produced by introduction of the sample into the cavity. For lamellar samples, Maxwell's equations can be used to find an explicit relationship between the change in cavity Q and the samples complex refractive index. Several measuring techniques based on the use of lamellar samples are presented, and their characteristics are illustrated both analytically and by laboratory measurements at 70 GHz on PTFE, polyethylene and plexiglas.On leave from Département de Physique et Laboratoire de recherche en optique et laser, Université Laval, Québec, Qué., Canada, G1K 7P4  相似文献

The Heavy Ion Research Facility and Cooling Storage Ring(HIRFL-CSR)accelerator in Lanzhou offers a unique possibility for the generation of high density and short pulse heavy ion beams by non-adiabatic bunch compression longitudinally,which is implemented by a fast jump of the RF-voltage amplitude.For this purpose,an RF cavity with high electric field gradient loaded with Magnetic Alloy cores has been developed.The results show that the resonant frequency range of the single-gap RF cavity is from 1.13 MHz to 1.42 MHz,and a maximum RF voltage of 40 kV with a total length of 100 cm can be obtained,which can be used to compress heavy ion beams of 238U72+ with 250 MeV/u from the initial bunch length of 200 ns to 50 ns with the coaction of the two single-gap RF cavity mentioned above.  相似文献

Magnetic alloy(MA)-loaded cavities have been widely used in compact proton and heavy-ion synchrotrons,and the MA core is the key issue in their development.Chinese-produced MA has never yet been adopted as core material for an MA-loaded cavity.To use Chinese-produced MA as the core material,it is necessary to study its properties,and compare with MA material produced elsewhere.In this paper,the properties of several MA cores made of Chinese-produced material are measured.Based on the measured results,a schematic design is produced for a cavity which could obtain 1 kV gap voltage with less than 1.5 kW power dissipation in the frequency range of0.5-7 MHz.The difference between resonant frequencies obtained from simulation and analytical results is less than10%.  相似文献

介绍了一种新型辐照加速器——花瓣形加速器NB100(10 MeV/100 kW)。用电磁场3维仿真软件模拟计算了此种加速器加速腔的高频特性参数,研究了腔体特性参数与几何尺寸的关系,在考虑电子束渡越时间情况下,优化出了一组频率为100 MHz时的加速腔结构其尺寸为:腔体高度1 547 mm,外筒内半径980 mm,内筒外半径240 mm,内筒倒圆角半径210 mm,外筒倒圆角半径110 mm。计算结果表明:该种新加速腔具有较高的有效分路阻抗和品质因数。  相似文献

在医用质子同步加速器方案中,采用铁氧体加载的不调谐高频加速腔,为进行原理验证和实验研究,制作了一台不调谐腔模型,模型腔为圆柱形同轴腔,腔内用铁氧体环填充,在同步加速器工作频率范围内,模型腔可基本实现与功率源的阻抗匹配.  相似文献

为了大幅度提高纯铌超导腔的品质因数,从而降低其使用功耗,选择对超导腔进行高温氮掺杂处理。立足国内外大型加速器的需求,中国科学院高能物理研究所首先开展了1.3 GHz 1-cell超导腔的研究,包括常规处理以及氮掺杂实验,并且对掺杂前后的结果进行了分析、对比。结果表明,通过掺氮,两只1.3 GHz 1-cell细晶粒纯铌超导腔的品质因数均获得了显著提升,同时在超导腔低温垂直测试中观察到了比较明显的反常的品质因数随加速梯度变化的曲线,即“anti-Q-slope”现象。

提出了一种新型的谐振腔,该谐振腔的谐振条件与普通谐振腔不同,其两个端面的总相移不必是180°的正整数倍。这种谐振腔由异向传输线和右手传输线两种不同性质的传输线级联构成,它利用耦合腔链作为异向传输线实现负相移,同轴波导作为右手传输线实现正相移,使谐振腔两个端面的总相移为零,满足谐振腔的谐振条件。由于它与传统谐振腔谐振条件不同,理论证明这种谐振腔的长度可远远小于传统谐振腔,设计实例的仿真结果表明这种新型谐振腔的长度最短仅为传统谐振腔的1/7。  相似文献

感应加速腔有径向馈入和轴向馈入两种常用的脉冲功率馈入方式。在理论上分析了不同功率馈入方式对感应加速腔输出电压平顶的影响,并对分析结果进行实验论证。实验采用1B2C结构,用相同的脉冲功率源馈入径向腔和轴向腔,测量此两种加速腔的电压波形。测得轴向腔±1%电压平顶时间为61 ns,径向腔±1%电压平顶时间为62 ns,两种腔都可满足±1%电压平顶大于60 ns的要求。此外对不同功率馈入方式导致的横向阻抗的变化进行了数值模拟,分别计算了采用这两种馈入方式的加速腔模型的横向阻抗,发现轴向加速腔的横向阻抗较小。  相似文献

离子源注入型IH加速器有望发展成为一种紧凑型低功耗离子加速器,为有效验证该加速结构的束流俘获效率,中国工程物理研究院流体物理研究所设计了一套将质子束从0.04 MeV加速到2.0 MeV的IH加速腔。目前已经完成了该腔的腔体加工,开展了高频参数冷测及腔体调谐研究。通过漂移管调谐和电感调谐,减小了腔体的频率误差和加速电压分布误差。模拟计算实测电场下腔体的束流俘获效率,由调谐前的16%提高到调谐后的34%。冷测调谐结果表明,该加速腔的各项参数达到设计值,具备进行功率测试和束流测试的条件。  相似文献

In this paper, we present the electromagnetic analysis of a rectangular cavity partially filled with a left-handed material slab. Our theoretical investigation shows that there exist novel resonant modes in the cavity, and such a cavity becomes a subwavelength cavity. The eigenvalue equation of the cavity is derived and the resonant frequencies of the novel modes are calculated by using numerical simulation. We also discuss the stability of the novel resonant modes and show the best condition under which a useful rectangular cavity of subwavelength dimensions with tolerable stability is obtained.  相似文献

Cavity radiation is modelled as a population point process with age-dependent birth rate. A method of phases is introduced to analyze special types of age dependencies. The conditional life-time of the cavity photon is assumed to be in hypothetical phases, the life-span of the phases being distributed independently and exponentially. The analysis leads to an explicit differential equation for the generating function of the population size. The detection process is analyzed and an explicit expression for the correlation of the counts provided. By an appropriate choice of the parameters, the spectrum corresponding to Gaussian Lorentzian light is recovered. The author felicitates Prof. D S Kothari on his eightieth birthday and dedicates this paper to him on this occasion.  相似文献

为了提高GaSb基激光器腔面膜的反射率,根据有关薄膜设计理论并借助薄膜设计软件,设计出激光器腔面膜膜系。使高反膜在2.0~3.5μm波段的理论反射率高于95%;增透膜在波长为2.5μm处的理论透射率高于99%。并经过反复实验操作比较了实验与理论设计反射率曲线,结果表明,实验所得反射率能达到实际应用的要求。除此之外,还通过比较各种材料的特性,讨论了薄膜材料的选取。  相似文献

基于谐振腔失调灵敏度参量随腔长的变化关系,提出了一种衰荡腔,它是由共焦腔将腔长缩短为原来的0.73得到的稳定腔。根据光束传输规律和失调腔矩阵方法,以及光腔衰荡法测量原理和曲线拟合方法,建立了腔长、腔镜角度失调下光腔衰荡法的反射率测量模型。通过数值模拟,研究了这种稳定衰荡腔中,腔微小失调对反射率测量结果的影响,并与相同失调情况下共焦衰荡腔的测量结果进行了对比分析。结果表明,这种稳定腔用作衰荡腔,测量结果受腔镜角度失调影响较大,而受腔长失调影响小;其长度较短,便于工程应用;衍射损耗较小,测量精度高。  相似文献

提出了一种利用串联谐振腔来抑制光电振荡器边模的方案. 此方案中, 在传统光电振荡器结构中加入无源微波谐振腔结构来提高滤波器的Q值. 分析了该结构的基本原理, 并与传统光电振荡器结构进行对比, 此结构能有效提高边模抑制比. 实验中产生了10 GHz的微波信号, 所测得的边模抑制比达72 dB, 单边带相位噪声为-122 dBc/Hz@10 kHz. 同时, 利用锁相技术, 振荡频率的稳定性得到了很大的改善, 在3 h内漂移小于± 4 Hz. 该方案无需增加有源器件, 保留了传统光电振荡器低相位噪声的优势, 又有效抑制了边模, 为光电振荡器的应用提供了一种新的方法.  相似文献

 采用特殊工艺制作了HIRFL-CSR电子冷却装置冷却段高精度螺线管线圈,两个产生反向磁场的线圈同轴、平行地放置在特制的测量装置上,高精度霍尔探头位于测量装置中心平面上,探头测量面与测量装置轴线重合,测量单个线圈磁场的横向分量,调节线圈几何轴相对于测量装置轴线的夹角,测得线圈磁轴的偏角小于1×10-3。  相似文献
