Adjusting the suitable coupling constants in relativistic mean field (RMF) theory and focusing on thermal effect of an entropy per baryon (S) from 0 to 3, we investigate the composition and structure of massive protoneutron stars corresponding PSR J1614-2230 and PSR J0348+0432. It is found that massive protoneutron stars (PNSs) have more hyperons than cold neutron stars. The entropy per baryon will stiffen the equation of state, and the influence on the pressure is more obvious at low density than high density, while the influence on the energy density is more obvious at high density than low density. It is found that higher entropy will give higher maximum mass, higher central temperature and lower central density. The entropy per baryon changes from 0 to 3, the radius of a PNS corresponding PSR J0348+0432 will increase from 12.86 km to 19.31 km and PSR J1612-2230 will increase from 13.03 km to 19.93 km. The entropy per baryon will raise the central temperature of massive PNSs in higher entropy per baryon, but the central temperature of massive PNSs maybe keep unchanged in lower entropy per baryon. The entropy per baryon will increase the moment of inertia of a massive protoneutron star, while decrease gravitational redshift of a massive neutron star.  相似文献

The solution of the chiral soliton with influence on the sea quark is studied in the one-loop approximation. The coupled equations of the motion for the quark and the chiral field are solved numerically by the self-consistent iterative method. The exact quark density of a hedgehog baryon is compared with the results of two kinda of approximations for the chiral angle. It is found that the influence of the chiral soliton on the sea quark can not be ignored.in the calculation of the energy structure or the distribution of the quark density of a baryon.  相似文献

The quark vacuum plays an essential role in making the chiral bag model consistent and well-defined. We compute vacuum (one-loop) contributions to the baryon density as a regulated sum over quark eigenmodes. The sum is evaluated in straightforward numerical fashion and yields results for the moments of the baryon density which are in agreement with those of Jezabek and Heller.  相似文献

Based on the mean-field theory, we investigate the thermodynamic properties of the two-dimensional (2D) charged spin-1/2 Fermi gas. Landé factor g is introduced to measure the strength of the paramagnetic effect. There is a competition between diamagnetism and paramagnetism in the system. The larger the Landé factor, the smaller the entropy and specific heat. Diamagnetism tends to increase the entropy, while paramagnetism leads to the decrease of the entropy. We find that there exists a critical value of Landé factor for the transition point due to the competition. The entropy of the system increases with the magnetic field when g < 0.58. With the growth of paramagnetism, when g > 0.58, the entropy first decreases with the magnetic field, then reaches a minimum value, and finally increases again. Both the entropy and specific heat increase with the temperature, and no phase transition occurs. The specific heat tends to a constant value at the hightemperature limit, and it approaches to zero at very low temperatures, which have been proved by the analytical calculation.  相似文献

Phase transitions in the early universe are discussed with inclusion of the effects of Higgs scalar chemical potentials as well as fermionic chemical potentials. The conditions for equilibrium, and the critical density to prevent symmetry restoration at high temperatures are studied. It is observed that the decay of pre-existing Higgs scalar asymmetries could greatly reduce baryon number and lepton number to entropy ratios from their initial values.  相似文献

We have studied structural, elastic, thermodynamic (Debye temperature and melting temperature), and lattice dynamical (phonon dispersion curves, heat capacity, and entropy) properties of CaX via ab initio calculations within the local density approximations. The results are compared with the available experimental and other theoretical data, and the agreement is, generally, quite good. We also predict the temperature and/or pressure-dependent behaviors of some mechanical, lattice dynamical, and thermodynamic properties for the same compounds.  相似文献

Within the collective coordinate approach to chiral soliton models we suggest that breaking of SU(3) flavor symmetry mainly resides in the baryon wave-functions while the charge operators maintain a symmetric structure. Sizable symmetry breaking in the wave-functions is required to reproduce the observed spacing in the spectrum of the  baryons. The matrix elements of the flavor symmetric charge operators nevertheless yield gA/gV ratios for hyperon beta-decay which agree with the empirical data approximately as well as the successful F&D parameterization of the Cabibbo scheme. Demanding the strangeness component in the nucleon to vanish in the two flavor limit of the model, determines the structure of the singlet axial charge operator and yields the various quark flavor components of the axial charge of the Λ-hyperon. The suggested picture gains support from calculations in a realistic model using pion and vector meson degrees of freedom to build up the soliton.  相似文献

Baryon number generation due to the decay of particle-antiparticle pairs created from cosmic string loops is studied. A holographic dual of a finite-temperature SU(Nc) gauge theory with a small number of flavors Nf or =1/4pi. Given the known results for the entropy density, the contribution of the fundamental matter eta fund is therefore enhanced at strong 't Hooft coupling lambda; for example, eta fund approximately lambda NcNfT3 in four dimensions. Other transport coefficients are analogously enhanced. These results hold with or without a baryon number chemical potential.  相似文献

We investigate the quark matter in a strong magnetic field in the framework of SU(2) NJL model with a magnetic-field-dependent coupling. The spin polarization, the entropy per baryon, and the energy are studied by analyzing the competition of the magnetic effect and the thermal effect. The stronger magnetic field can enhance the spin polarization, arrange quarks in a uniform spin orientation, and change the energy per baryon drastically. However,it can hardly affect the entropy per baryon, which is dominated by the temperature. As the temperature increases, more quarks will be excited from the lowest Landau level up to higher Landau levels.  相似文献

We show that a precise assessment of free energy estimates in Monte Carlo simulations of lattice models is possible by using cluster variation approximations in conjunction with the local states approximations proposed by Meirovitch. The local states method (LSM) utilizes entropy expressions which recently have been shown to correspond to a converging sequence of upper bounds on the thermodynamic limit entropy density (i.e., entropy per lattice site), whereas the cluster variation method (CVM) supplies formulas that in some cases have been proven to be, and in other cases are believed to be, lower bounds. We have investigated CVM-LSM combinations numerically in Monte Carlo simulations of the two-dimensional Ising model and the two-dimensional five-states ferromagnetic Potts model. Even in the critical region the combination of upper and lower bounds enables an accurate and reliable estimation of the free energy from data of a single run. CVM entropy approximations are therefore useful in Monte Carlo simulation studies and in establishing the reliability of results from local states methods.  相似文献

We study the implications of a generic inflationary model for scenarios of baryogenesis based on the decays of coherent oscillations of squark and slepton fields. We consider the effects of de Sitter fluctuations on the magnitudes of the coherent oscillations of squarks and sleptons. We see that the largest contribution to the entropy density is due to inflaton decays which together with the value of the oscillation amplitude determined by the de Sitter fluctations leads to a baryon to entropy ratio O(10−10). The isothermal density fluctuations produced by the coherent oscillations are found to be negligible compared with the adiabatic fluctuations produced during inflation  相似文献

It is shown that density functional fidelity susceptibility is approximately proportional to the relative or Kullback–Leibler entropy. A nearly linear relationship between the relative entropy and density functional fidelity is explored. The ratio of the fidelity and the distance of the relative entropy from 1 detects quantum phase transition. This is illustrated by numerical and analytical variational approximations for the ground state of the single-mode Dicke model.  相似文献

We investigate how displaced thermal states(DTSs) evolve in a laser channel. Remarkably, the initial DTS, an example of a mixed state, still remains mixed and thermal. At long times, they finally decay to a highly classical thermal field only related to the laser parameters κ and g. The normal ordering product of density operator of the DTS in the laser channel leads to obtaining the analytical time-evolution expressions of the photon number, Wigner function, and von Neumann entropy. Also, some interesting results are presented via numerically investigating these explicit time-dependent expressions.  相似文献

This article deals with particle creation andthe production of specific entropy per baryon in theearly universe, which is regarded as a thermodynamicallyopen system in the sense of Prigogine. The modified general relativity (MGR) theory of Rastall,Al-Rawaf, and Taha is employed. It contains an extraindependent constant which is peculiar to thenon-Newtonian regime, besides the usual gravitationalconstant. Usual general relativity (GR) appears here asa special case for = 1. With a modifiedthermodynamic energy conservation law, it is possible toobtain an equation for the expansion scalar byincorporating the epoch dependence of elementary particlemasses. The epoch dependence of particle masses for theRobertson-Walker (RW) universe appears as a consequenceof hadronic matter extension in a microlocal space-time regarded as anisotropic and Finslerian. Thegoverning equations in the present formalism specify theequation of state and give a solution for the expansionscalar. This solution represents a mild inflationary phase in the very early universe. It is alsoshown that there are no 'turn-on' and'turn-off' problems for this mild inflation.It can account for particle creation and production ofspecific entropy per baryon consistent with the observation. Theproduction of specific entropy per baryon is alsoconsidered here in the MGR framework with theintroduction of viscous pressure; the calculated valueis in good agreement with observation for the GR case, butfor the MGR case, in order to have its value withinobservational limits, must lie in the range 0.75 1. It is also argued that this formalismdoes not have horizon and flatnessproblems.  相似文献

Baryogenesis in the reheating phase of the chaotic inflationary universe is investigated, taking into account the non-thermal production of baryon-number non-conserving Higgs bosons from an inflation field. It is found that the baryon asymmetry may have different signs depending on the reheat temperature. Furthermore a model is presented in which appear universes with various baryon/entropy ratio and also antimatter universes as well as our universe, even though CP violation has a definite sign.  相似文献

We check a commonly used approximation in which a baryon with a heavy quark is described as a heavy quark–light diquark system. The heavy quark influences the diquark internal motion reducing the average distance between the two light quarks. Besides, we show how the average distance between the heavy quark and any of the light quarks, and that between the heavy quark and the center of mass of the light diquark, are smaller than the distance between the two light quarks, which seems to contradict the heavy quark–light diquark picture. This latter result is in agreement with expectations from QCD sum rules and lattice QCD calculations. Our results also show that the diquark approximations produces larger masses than the ones obtained in a full calculation.  相似文献
