New cationic diruthenium complexes of the type [(arene)(2)Ru(2)(SPh)(3)](+), arene being C(6)H(6), p-(i)PrC(6)H(4)Me, C(6)Me(6), C(6)H(5)R, where R = (CH(2))(n)OC(O)C(6)H(4)-p-O(CH(2))(6)CH(3) or (CH(2))(n)OC(O)CH=CHC(6)H(4)-p-OCH(3) and n = 2 or 4, are obtained from the reaction of the corresponding precursor [(arene)RuCl(2)](2) and thiophenol and isolated as their chloride salts. The complexes have been fully characterised by spectroscopic methods and the solid state structure of [(C(6)H(6))(2)Ru(2)(SPh)(3)](+), crystallised as the hexafluorophosphate salt, has been established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complexes are highly cytotoxic against human ovarian cancer cells (cell lines A2780 and A2780cisR), with the IC(50) values being in the submicromolar range. In comparison the analogous trishydroxythiophenolato compounds [(arene)(2)Ru(2)(S-p-C(6)H(4)OH)(3)]Cl (IC(50) values around 100 μM) are much less cytotoxic. Thus, it would appear that the increased antiproliferative effect of the arene ruthenium complexes is due to the presence of the phenyl or toluyl substituents at the three thiolato bridges.  相似文献

Phosphino carboxylic acid ester terminated G(0) compounds Si(CH(2))(3)SiMe(2)(C(6)H(4)CH(2)OC(O)(CH(2))(n)()CH(2)PPh(2)(4) (9a and 9b; n = 1, 2) and the carbosilane dendrimers Si(CH(2))(3)Si((CH(2))(3)SiMe(2)(C(6)H(4)CH(2)OC(O)(CH(2))(n)()CH(2) PPh(2))(3)(4) (10a and 10b; n = 1, 2) have been prepared as hemilabile nanoscale ligands for the palladium-catalyzed codimerization of olefins. The hydrovinylation of styrene was carried out in a continuously operated nanofiltration membrane reactor. Under continuous conditions, the selectivity of the reaction is increased considerably. Monomeric model complexes and the dendritic catalysts were compared for their activity and selectivity in batch reactions. The Pd catalyst complexes were prepared in situ from the dendritic ligands and an (allyl)palladium(II) precursor.  相似文献

A new series of 5-(4'-substituted)phenylazo-8-hydroxyquinolines (H[L-R]; R = N(CH(3))(2), C(2)H(5), n-C(4)H(9), C(CH(3))(3), H, and F, ) has been prepared and the corresponding Zn[L-R](2) (1a-6a) and Al[L-R](3) (1b-6b) complexes successfully synthesized. These compounds have been studied in order to design new molecular materials with enhanced electron transport properties. The obtained species have been extensively characterized by absorption and emission spectra and by cyclic voltammetric measurements. Experimental and computational results show that the Zn[L-N(CH(3))(2)].2H(2)O (1a) and Al[L-N(CH(3))(2)](1b) complexes only feature luminescence (at 620 and 600 nm), respectively. The unique effects, which are induced by the N=N-C(6)H(4)-N(CH(3))(2) group, are further proved by a reversible electron transfer process detected by cyclic voltammetry. These outcomes, discussed on the basis of theoretical calculations performed on the (H[L-N(CH3)2])-, H[L-N(CH3)2] and (H[L-N(CH3)(2)])+ species, suggest that metal complexes formed by 5-(4'-N,N-dimethylamino)phenylazo-8-hydroxyquinoline should be considered as electron transport materials suitable for applications in photonic devices.  相似文献

The iron(III) complexes [Fe(2)(HPTB)(mu-OH)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2).CH(3)OH.2H(2)O (1), [Fe(2)(HPTB)(mu-OCH(3))(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2).4.5CH(3)OH (2), [Fe(2)(HPTB)(mu-OH)(OBz)(2)](ClO(4))(2).4.5H(2)O (3), [Fe(2)(N-EtOH-HPTB)(mu-OH)(NO(3))(2)](ClO(4))(NO(3)).3CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O (4), [Fe(2)(5,6-Me(2)-HPTB)(mu-OH)(NO(3))(2)](ClO(4))(NO(3)).3.5CH(3)OH.C(2)H(5)OC(2)H(5).0.5H(2)O (5), and [Fe(4)(HPTB)(2)(mu-F)(2)(OH)(4)](ClO(4))(4).CH(3)CN.C(2)H(5)OC(2)H(5).H(2)O (6) were synthesized (HPTB = N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-2-hydroxo-1,3-diaminopropane, N-EtOH-HPTB = N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(N' '-(2-hydroxoethyl)-2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-2-hydroxo-1,3-diaminopropane, 5,6-Me(2)-HPTB = N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(5,6-dimethyl-2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-2-hydroxo-1,3-diaminopropane). The molecular structures of 2-6 were established by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Iron(II) complexes with ligands similar to the dinucleating ligands described herein have been used previously as model compounds for the dioxygen uptake at the active sites of non-heme iron enzymes. The same metastable (mu-peroxo)diiron(III) adducts were observed during these studies. They can be prepared by adding hydrogen peroxide to the iron(III) compounds 1-6. Using stopped-flow techniques these reactions were kinetically investigated in different solvents and a mechanism was postulated.  相似文献

Tridentate/tetradentate Schiff base ligands L(1) and L(2), derived from the condensation of o-vanillin or pyridine-2-aldehyde with N,N-dimethylethylenediammine, react with nickel acetate or perchlorate salt and azide, cyanate, or thiocyanate to give rise to a series of dinuclear complexes of formulas [Ni(L(1))(micro(1,1)-N(3))Ni(L(1))(N(3))(OH(2))].H(2)O (1), [[Ni(L(1))(micro(1,1)-NCS)Ni(L(1))(NCS)(OH(2))][Ni(L(1))(micro-CH(3)COO)Ni(L(1))( NCS) (OH(2))]] (2) [[2A][2B]], [Ni(L(1))(micro(1,1)-NCO)Ni(L(1))(NCO)(OH(2))].H(2)O (3), and [Ni(L(2)-OMe)(micro(1,1)-N(3))(N(3))](2) (4), where L(1) = Me(2)N(CH(2))(2)NCHC(6)H(3)(O(-))(OCH(3)) and L(2) = Me(2)N(CH(2))(2)NCHC(6)H(3)N. We have characterized these complexes by analytical, spectroscopic, and variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The coordination geometry around all of the Ni(II) centers is a distorted octahedron with bridging azide, thiocyanate/acetate, or cyanate in a micro(1,1) mode and micro(2)-phenolate oxygen ion for 1-3, respectively, or with a double-bridging azide for 4. The magnetic properties of the complexes were studied by magnetic susceptibility (chi(M)) versus temperature measurements. The chi(M) nus T plot reveals that compounds 1 and 4 are strongly ferromagnetically coupled, 3 shows a weak ferromagnetic behavior, and 2 is very weakly antiferromagnetically coupled.  相似文献

Substitution of the methyl group from the H-BPMP (HL(CH)3) ligand (2,6-bis[(bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino)methyl]-4-methylphenol) by electron withdrawing (F or CF(3)) or electron donating (OCH(3)) groups afforded a series of dinucleating ligand (HL(OCH)3, HL(F), HL(CF)3), allowing one to understand the changes in the properties of the corresponding dicopper complexes. Dinuclear Cu(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic (UV-vis, EPR, (1)H NMR) as well as electrochemical techniques and, in some cases, by single-crystal X-ray diffraction: [Cu(2)(L(OCH)3)(muOH)][(ClO(4))(2)].C(4)H(8)O, [Cu(2)(L(F))(muOH)][(ClO(4))(2)], [Cu(2)(L(F))(H(2)O)(2)][(ClO(4))(3)].C(3)D(6)O, and [Cu(2)(L(CF)3)(H(2)O)(2)][(ClO(4))(3)].4H(2)O. Significant differences are observed for the Cu-Cu distance in the two mu-hydroxo complexes (2.980 A (R = OCH(3)) and 2.967 A (R = F)) compared to the two bis aqua complexes (4.084 A (R = F) and 4.222 A (R = CF(3))). The mu-hydroxo and bis aqua complexes are reversibly interconverted upon acid/base titration. In basic medium, new species are reversibly formed and identified as the bis hydroxo complexes except for the complex from HL(CF)3 which is irreversibly transformed near pH = 10. pH-driven interconversions have been studied by UV-vis, EPR, and (1)H NMR, and the corresponding pK are determinated. In addition, with the fluorinated complexes, the changes in the coordination sphere around the copper centers and in their redox states are evidenced by the fluorine chemical shift changes ((19)F NMR). For all the complexes described here, investigations of the catechol oxidase activities (oxidation of 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol to the corresponding quinone) are of interest in modeling the catecholase enzyme active site and in understanding aspects of structure/reactivity. These studies show the pH-dependence for the catalytic abilities of the complexes, related with changes in the coordination sphere of the metal centers: only the mu-hydroxo complexes from HL(CH)3, HL(F), and HL(OCH)3 exhibit a catecholase activity. Modification on R-substituent induces a drastic effect on the catecholase activity: the presence of an electron donating group on the ligand increases this activity; the reverse effect is observed with an electron withdrawing group.  相似文献

Organotin(IV) complexes of tribenzyltin(IV) chloride and di(para-chlorobenzyl)tin(IV) dichloride with thiohydrazides have been reported. The ligands synthesized were bidentate coordinating through sulphur and terminal nitrogen atoms. These form 1:1 metal-ligand complexes. The following organotin(IV) complexes have been synthesized: (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(1))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(1))Cl(2), (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(1))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(2))Cl(2), (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(3))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(3))Cl(2), where (L(1)): 2-phenylethyl N-thiohydrazide, (L(2)): N-(2-phenylethyl-N-thio)-1,3-propane diamine, (L(3)): N-(2-phenylethyl-N-thio)-1,2-ethane diamine. The complexes were synthesized by directly mixing, refluxing and stirring the ligands with organotin(IV) chlorides in a suitable solvent. The complexes were found to be pure and were characterized by elemental analysis, electronic, infrared, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy. These complexes were also studied for their thermal decomposition by thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). Various kinetic and thermodynamic parameters, viz. activation energy (E(a)), order of reaction (n), apparent activation entropy (S(#)) and heat of reaction (DeltaH) have been determined by using Horowitz-Metzger method. It was observed that these complexes are highly stable and the thermal degradation of these complexes is a spontaneous process. The ligands and their tin complexes have also been screened for their fungitoxicity activity and found to be quite active in this respect.  相似文献

The article deals with the ruthenium complexes, [(bpy)Ru(Q')(2)] (1-3) incorporating two unsymmetrical redox-noninnocent iminoquinone moieties [bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; Q' = 3,5-di-tert-butyl-N-aryl-1,2-benzoquinonemonoimine, aryl = C(6)H(5) (Q'(1)), 1; m-Cl(2)C(6)H(3) (Q'(2)), 2; m-(OCH(3))(2)C(6)H(3) (Q'(3)), 3]. 1 and 3 have been preferentially stabilised in the cc-isomeric form while both the ct- and cc-isomeric forms of 2 are isolated [ct: cis and trans and cc: cis and cis with respect to the mutual orientations of O and N donors of two Q']. The isomeric identities of 1-3 have been authenticated by their single-crystal X-ray structures. The collective consideration of crystallographic and DFT data along with other analytical events reveals that 1-3 exhibit the valence configuration of [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q'(Sq))(2)]. The magnetization studies reveal a ferromagnetic response at 300 K and virtual diamagnetic behaviour at 2 K. DFT calculations on representative 2a and 2b predict that the excited triplet (S = 1) state is lying close to the singlet (S = 0) ground state with singlet-triplet separation of 0.038 eV and 0.075 eV, respectively. In corroboration with the paramagnetic features the complexes exhibit free radical EPR signals with g~2 and (1)HNMR spectra with broad aromatic proton signals associated with the Q' at 300 K. Experimental results in conjunction with the DFT (for representative 2a and 2b) reveal iminoquinone based preferential electron-transfer processes leaving the ruthenium(ii) ion mostly as a redox insensitive entity: [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q'(Q))(2)](2+) (1(2+)-3(2+)) ? [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q(')(Sq))(Q(')(Q))](+) (1(+)-3(+)) ? [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q(')(Sq))(2)] (1-3) ? [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q(')(Sq))(Q(')(Cat))](-)/[(bpy)Ru(III)(Q(')(Cat))(2)](-) (1(-)-3(-)). The diamagnetic doubly oxidised state, [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q'(Q))(2)](2+) in 1(2+)-3(2+) has been authenticated further by the crystal structure determination of the representative [(bpy)Ru(II)(Q'(3))(2)](ClO(4))(2) [3](ClO(4))(2) as well as by its sharp (1)H NMR spectrum. The key electronic transitions in each redox state of 1(n)-3(n) have been assigned by TD-DFT calculations on representative 2a and 2b.  相似文献

To explore the relationships between the structures of ligands and their complexes, we have synthesized and characterized a series of metal complexes with two structurally related ligands, 9-acridinecarboxylic acid (HL(1)) and 4-quinolinecarboxylate acid (HL(2)), [Cu(2)(mu(2)-OMe)(2)(L(1))(2)(H(2)O)(0.69)](n) 1, [Cu(2)(L(1))(4)(CH(3)OH)(2)] 2, [Cu(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 3, [Mn(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 4, [Co(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 5, [Cu(L(2))(2)](n) 6, [Mn(L(2))(2)(H(2)O)](n) 7, and [Co(L(2))(2)(H(2)O)](n) 8. 1 is a three-dimensional (3D) polymer with an interpenetrating NbO type network showing one-dimensional (1D) channels, whereas 2 and 3 take bi- and trinuclear structures, respectively, because of the differences in basicity of the reaction systems in preparing the three complexes. 4 and 5 have trinuclear structures similar to that of 3. In 1-5, ligand L(1) performs different coordination modes with N,O-bridging in 1 and O,O'-bridging in 2-5, and the metal ions also show different coordination geometries: square planar in 1, square pyramidal in 2, and octahedral in 3-5. 6 has a two-dimensional structure containing (4,4) grids in which L(2) adopts the N,O-bridging mode and the Cu(II) center takes square planar geometry. 7 and 8 are isostructural complexes showing 1D chain structures, with L(2) adopting the O,O-bridging mode. In addition, the intermolecular O-H...N hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking interactions further extend the complexes (except 1 and 6), forming 3D structures. The magnetic properties of 2-7 have been investigated and discussed in detail.  相似文献

The reaction equilibria [H(4)L](2+) + Zn(OAc)(2) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(H(2)L)](2+) + 2HOAc (K(1)) and [Zn(H(2)L)](2+) + Zn(OAc)(2) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(2)L](2+) + 2HOAc (K(2)), involving zinc acetate and the perchlorate salts of the tetraiminodiphenol macrocycles [H(4)L(1)(-)(3)](ClO(4))(2), the lateral (CH(2))(n)() chains of which vary between n = 2 and n = 4, have been studied by spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric titrations in acetonitrile. The photoluminescence behavior of the complexes [Zn(2)L(1)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-O(2)CR)](ClO(4)) (R = CH(3), C(6)H(5), p-CH(3)C(6)H(4), p-OCH(3)C(6)H(4), p-ClC(6)H(4), p-NO(2)C(6)H(4)), and [Zn(2)L(3)(mu-OAc)](ClO(4)) have been investigated. The X-ray crystal structures of the complexes [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(3)(mu-OAc)](ClO(4)), and [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(OBz)(H(3)O)](ClO(4)) have been determined. The complex [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(OBz)(H(3)O)](ClO(4)) in which the coordinated water molecule is present as the hydronium ion (H(3)O(+)) on deprotonation gives rise to the neutral dibenzoate-bridged compound [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(2)].H(2)O. The equilibrium constants (K) for the reaction [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) + A(-) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(2)L(2)A](+) + 2H(2)O (K), where A(-) = acetate, benzoate, or the carboxylate moiety of the amino acids glycine, l-alanine, l-histidine, l-valine, and l-proline, have been determined spectrofluorimetrically in aqueous solution (pH 6-7) at room temperature. The binding constants (K) evaluated for these systems vary in the range (1-8) x 10(5).  相似文献

A bis-chelating ligand (L1), made of two 7-(p-anisyl)-1,10-phenanthroline (phen) subunits connected with a p-(CH(2))(2)C(6)H(4)(CH(2))(2) spacer through their 4 positions, has been prepared, using Skraup syntheses and reaction of the anion of 4-methyl-7-anisyl-1,10-phenanthroline with alpha,alpha'-dibromo-p-xylene. Its Fe(II) complex, [FeL1(dmbp)](PF(6))(2), was prepared in one step by reaction of L1 with [Fe(dmbp)(3)](PF(6))(2) (dmbp = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine). On the other hand, its Ru(II) complex, [RuL1(dmbp)](PF(6))(2), was prepared in two steps from Ru(CH(3)CN)(4)Cl(2) and L1, followed by reaction with dmbp. X-ray crystal structure analyses show that in the two octahedral complexes, ligand L1 coils around the metal by coordination of the axial and two equatorial positions. It defines a 21 A long axis (O.O distance) running through the central metal and the terminal anisyl substituents. The complexes were also characterized by (1)H NMR, mass spectrometry, cyclic voltammetry, electronic absorption, and, in the case of Ru(II), fluorescence spectroscopy.  相似文献

Four bis-tetradentate N(4)-substituted-3,5-{bis[bis-N-(2-pyridinemethyl)]aminomethyl}-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligands, L(Tz1)-L(Tz4), differing only in the triazole N(4) substituent R (where R is amino, pyrrolyl, phenyl, or 4-tertbutylphenyl, respectively) have been synthesized, characterized, and reacted with M(II)(BF(4))(2)·6H(2)O (M(II) = Cu, Ni or Co) and Co(SCN)(2). Experiments using all 16 possible combinations of metal salt and L(TzR) were carried out: 14 pure complexes were obtained, 11 of which are dinuclear, while the other three are tetranuclear. The dinuclear complexes include two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4) (2), [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(2) (4); two nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(H(2)O)(3)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(4)·0.5(CH(3)CN) (5) and [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4)·H(2)O (8); and seven cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·H(2)O (9), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·2H(2)O (10), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(H(2)O)(2)](BF(4))(4) (11), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·3H(2)O (12), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(SCN)(4)]·3H(2)O (13), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(SCN)(4)]·2H(2)O (14), and [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(SCN)(4)]·H(2)O (15). The tetranuclear complexes are [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz1))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(6) (1), [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-F)(2)](BF(4))(6)·0.5H(2)O (3), and [Ni(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(4)(μ-F(2))](BF(4))(6)·6.5H(2)O (7). Single crystal X-ray structure determinations revealed different solvent content from that found by microanalysis of the bulk sample after drying under a vacuum and confirmed that 5', 8', 9', 11', 12', and 15' are dinuclear while 1' and 7' are tetranuclear. As expected, magnetic measurements showed that weak antiferromagnetic intracomplex interactions are present in 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8, stabilizing a singlet spin ground state. All seven of the dinuclear cobalt(II) complexes, 9-15, have similar magnetic behavior and remain in the [HS-HS] state between 300 and 1.8 K.  相似文献

The work in the present investigation reports the syntheses, structures, steady state, and time-resolved photophysical properties of a tetraiminodiphenol macrocyclic ligand H(2)L and its eight dinuclear zinc(II) complexes and one cadmium(II) complex having composition [Zn(2)L(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)CN (1), [Zn(2)L(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·2dmf (2), [Zn(2)L(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2)·2dmf (3), [Zn(2)LCl(2)] (4), [Zn(2)L(N(3))(2)] (5), [Zn(2)L(NCS)(2)] (6), [Zn(2)L(NCO)(2)] (7), [Zn(2)L(NCSe)(2)](2)·dmf (8), and [Cd(2)L(OAc)(2)] (9) with various coordinating and noncoordinating anions. The structures of all the complexes 1-9 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The noncovalent interactions in the complexes result in the generation of the following topologies: two-dimensional network in 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9; three-dimensional network in 5. Spectrophotometric and spectrofluorometric titrations of the diprotonated salt [H(4)L](ClO(4))(2) with triethylamine as well as with zinc(II) acetate and cadmium(II) acetate have been carried out, revealing fluorescence enhancement of the macrocyclic system by the base and the metal ions. Steady state fluorescence properties of [H(4)L](ClO(4))(2) and 1-9 have been studied and their quantum yields have been determined. Time resolved fluorescence behavior of [H(4)L](ClO(4))(2) and the dizinc(II) and dicadmium(II) complexes 1-9 have also been studied, and their lifetimes and radiative and nonradiative rate constants have been determined. The induced fluorescence enhancement of the macrocycle by zinc(II) and cadmium(II) is in line with the greater rate of increase of the radiative rate constants in comparison to the smaller rate of increase of nonradiative rate constants for the metal complexes. The fluorescence decay profiles of all the systems, being investigated here, that is, [H(4)L](ClO(4))(2) and 1-9, follow triexponential patterns, revealing that at least three conformers/components are responsible to exhibit the fluorescence decay behavior. The systems and studies in this report have been compared with those in the reports of the previously published similar systems, revealing some interesting aspects.  相似文献

New catalysts for the isospecific polymerization of 1-hexene based on cationic zirconium complexes incorporating the tetradentate fluorous dialkoxy-diamino ligands [OC(CF(3))(2)CH(2)N(Me)(CH(2))(2)N(Me)CH(2)C(CF(3))(2)O](2-) [(ON(2)NO)(2-)] and [OC(CF(3))(2)CH(2)N(Me)(1R,2R-C(6)H(10))N(Me)CH(2)C(CF(3))(2)O](2-) [(ON(Cy)NO)(2-)] have been developed. The chiral fluorous diamino-diol [(ON(Cy)NO)H(2), 2] was prepared by ring-opening of the fluorinated oxirane (CF(3))(2)COCH(2) with (R,R)-N,N'-dimethyl-1,2-cyclohexanediamine. Proligand 2 reacts cleanly with [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(4)] and [Ti(OiPr)(4)] precursors to give the corresponding dialkoxy complexes [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (3) and [Ti(OiPr)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (4), respectively. An X-ray diffraction study revealed that 3 crystallizes as a 1:1 mixture of two diastereomers (Lambda-3 and Delta-3), both of which adopt a distorted octahedral structure with trans-O, cis-N, and cis-CH(2)Ph ligands. The two diastereomers Lambda-3 and Delta-3 adopt a C(2)-symmetric structure in toluene solution, as established by NMR spectroscopy. Cationic complexes [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(ON(2)NO)(THF)(n)](+) (n=0, anion=[B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-), 5; n=1, anion=[PhCH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(3)](-), 6) and [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(ON(Cy)NO)(THF)](+)[PhCH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(3)](-) (7) were generated from the neutral parent precursors [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(2)NO)] (H) and [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (3), and their possible structures were determined on the basis of (1)H, (19)F, and (13)C NMR spectroscopy and DFT methods. The neutral zirconium complexes H and 3 (Lambda-3/Delta-3 mixture), when activated with B(C(6)F(5))(3) or [Ph(3)C](+)[B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-), catalyze the polymerization of 1-hexene with overall activities of up to 4500 kg PH mol Zr(-1) h(-1), to yield isotactic-enriched (up to 74 % mmmm) polymers with low-to-moderate molecular weights (M(w)=4800-47 200) and monodisperse molecular-weight distributions (M(w)/M(n)=1.17-1.79).  相似文献

The zinc(II) complexes with ortho-hydroxy substituted arylhydrazo-β-diketonates [Zn(2)(CH(3)OH)(2)(μ-L(1))(2)] (5), [Zn{(CH(3))(2)SO}(H(2)O)(L(2))] (6), [Zn(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-L(3))(2)] (7) and [Zn(H(2)O)(2)(L(4))]·H(2)O (8) were synthesized by reaction of a zinc(II) salt with the appropriate hydrazo-β-diketone, HO-2-C(6)H(4)-NHN=C{C(=O)CH(3)}(2) (H(2)L(1), 1), HO-2-O(2)N-4-C(6)H(3)-NHN=C{C(=O)CH(3)}(2) (H(2)L(2), 2), HO-2-C(6)H(4)-NHN=CC(=O)CH(2)C(CH(3))(2)CH(2)C(=O) (H(2)L(3), 3) or HO-2-O(2)N-4-C(6)H(3)-NHN=[CC(=O)CH(2)C(CH(3))(2)CH(2)C(=O) (H(2)L(4), 4). They were fully characterized, namely by X-ray diffraction analysis that disclosed the formation of extensive H-bonds leading to 1D chains (5 and 6), 2D layers (7) or 3D networks (8). The thermodynamic parameters of the Zn(II) reaction with H(2)L(2) in solution, as well as of the thermal decomposition of 1-8 were determined. Complexes 5-8 act as diastereoselective catalysts for the nitroaldol (Henry) reaction. The threo/erythro diastereoselectivity of the β-nitroalkanol products ranges from 8:1 to 1:10 with typical yields of 80-99%, depending on the catalyst and substrate used.  相似文献

Poly(trimethylene carbonate) (PTMC) was synthesized through ring-opening polymerization by using a rare-earth borohydride initiator, [Sm(BH(4))(3)(thf)(3)]. This initiator shows a high activity to give high-molar-mass PTMCs with molar-mass distributions ranging from 1.2 to 1.4, and with a regular structure void of ether linkages. The polymers were characterized by (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy, (1)H-(1)H COSY, (1)H-(13)C HMQC NMR spectroscopy, size-exclusion chromatography (SEC), viscosimetry, and MALDI-TOF MS analyses. A coordination-insertion mechanism was established based on detailed NMR characterizations, especially of the polymer chain end-functions. The monomer initially coordinates the samarium to give [Sm(BH(4))(3)(tmc)(3)], 1. The monomer then opens up through cleavage of the cyclic ester oxygen--acyl bond and inserts into the Sm--HBH(3) bond resulting in an alkoxide complex, [Sm{O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)HBH(3)}(3)], 2, or [Sm{O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)H}(3)], 2', which then propagates the polymerization of TMC to give the active polymer [Sm({O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)}(n)O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)HBH(3))(3)], 3 or [Sm(O(CH(2))(3)OC(O){O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)}(n)O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)H)(3)], 3'. Finally, acidic hydrolysis of 3 or 3' gives HO(CH(2))(3)OC(O)[O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)](n)O(CH(2))(3)OC(O)H, 4. This novel alpha-hydroxy,omega-formatetelechelic PTMC represents the first example of a formate-terminated polycarbonate. TMC and epsilon-caprolactone (CL) were copolymerized to afford both random PTMC-co-PCL and block PTMC-b-PCL copolymers that were characterized by (1)H NMR spectroscopy, SEC, and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The structure of the block copolymers depends on the order of addition of monomers: if CL is introduced first, dihydroxytelechelic HO-PTMC-b-PCL-OH polymers are formed, whereas introduction of TMC first or simultaneous addition of comonomers leads to hydroxyformatetelechelic HC(O)O-PTMC-b-PCL-OH analogues.  相似文献

A variety of Group 10 metal complexes [MXY(dfppp)], M = Ni, X, Y = Cl, Br, M = Pd, Pt, X, Y = Cl or CH(3), containing the recently reported highly fluorous diphosphine ligand, dfppp, 1,3-bis[di(fluoroponytail)phosphino]propane, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4))(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(3) have been synthesised. They have been characterised by NMR, mass spectrometry and microanalysis, with two platinum complexes, [PtCl(2)(dfppp)] and [PtClMe(dfppp)], structurally characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The highly fluorous nature of the ligands affords the complexes good supercritical CO(2) solubility as measured by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), and has allowed for the copolymerisation of CO and ethylene using [PdClMe(dfppp)] as the catalyst precursor and CO(2) as the solvent. Additionally, PtCl(2) complexes of the new ligands dfppb, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4))(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(4), and dfpop, {(p-F(13)C(6)C(6)H(4)O)(2)P}(2)(CH(2))(3), have also been prepared and characterised.  相似文献

Two inorganic-organic hybrid clusters with one or two covalently linked pyrene fluorescent probes, [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)[V(6)O(13){(OCH(2))(3)C(NH(CO)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)C(16)H(9))}{(OCH(2))(3)C-(NH(2))}] ((TBA(+))(2)1) and [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)[V(6)O(13){(OCH(2))(3)C(NH(CO)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)C(16)H(9))}(2)] ((TBA(+))(2)2), respectively, are synthesized from Lindqvist type polyoxometalates (POMs). The incorporation of pyrene into POMs results in amphiphilic hybrid molecules and simultaneously offers a great opportunity to study the interaction between hybrid clusters and their counterions. 2D-NOESY NMR and fluorescence techniques have been used to study the role of counterions such as tetrabutyl ammonium (TBA) in the vesicle formation of the hybrid clusters. The TBA(+) ions not only screen the electrostatic repulsions between the POM head groups but also are involved in the hydrophobic region of the vesicular structure where they interrupt the formation of pyrene excimers that greatly perturbs the luminescence signal from the vesicle solution. By replacing the TBA(+) counterions with protons, the new vesicles demonstrate interesting pH-dependent fluorescence properties.  相似文献

The acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes, cis/trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1) and trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (2) (dmpe = 1,2-dimethylphoshinoethane; depe = 1,2-diethylphosphinoethane), were synthesized by transmetalation from the corresponding alkyl halide complexes. Acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes were also formed by transmetalation from the chloride complexes, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)] or trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)]. The structure of trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(CH(3))] (1a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The methyl acetylido iron complexes, [Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1), are thermally stable in the presence of acetylenes; however, under UV irradiation, methane is lost with the formation of a metal bisacetylide. Photochemical metathesis of cis- or trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CR)] (R = C(6)H(5) (1a), 4-C(6)H(4)OCH(3) (1b)) with terminal acetylenes was used to selectively synthesize unsymmetrically substituted iron(II) bisacetylide complexes of the type trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(C[triple bond]CR')] [R = Ph, R' = Ph (6a), 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4) (6b), (t)()Bu (6c), Si(CH(3))(3) (6d), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6e); R = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), R' = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), (6g), (t)()Bu (6h), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6i), adamantyl (6j)]. The structure of the unsymmetrical iron(II) bisacetylide complex trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))] (6b) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The photochemical metathesis of the bis-acetylene, 1,7-octadiyne, with trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CPh)] (1a), was utilized to synthesize the bridged binuclear species trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (11). The trinuclear species trans,trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (12) was synthesized by the photochemical reaction of Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CPh)(C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH) (6e) with Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(2). Extended irradiation of the bisacetylide complexes with phenylacetylene resulted in insertion of the terminal alkyne into one of the metal acetylide bonds to give acetylide butenyne complexes. The structure of the acetylide butenyne complex, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))(eta(1)-C(C(6)H(5))=CH(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3)))] (9a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Heterotrimetallic lanthanide-substituted bismuth titanate (BLT, where lanthanide is neodymium) with stoichiometry Nd(0.75)Bi(3.25)Ti(3)O(12) has been obtained in both highly homogenized crystalline and amorphous thin film forms using three different multicomponent precursors, A (formed from Nd(OC(3)H(7)(i))(3), Bi(OOC.CH(3))(3), and Ti(OC(3)H(7)(i))(4) taken in the desired stoichiometry), B (formed from Nd(OC(3)H(7)(i))(2)(acac), Bi(OOC.CH(3))(3), Ti(OC(3)H(7)(i))(3)(acac)), and C (formed from Nd(OC(3)H(7))(acac)(2), Bi(OOC.CH(3))(3), Ti(OC(3)H(7))(3)(acac), in the desired stoichiometry), and employing controlled acidic hydrolysis during the sol-gel method. Paramagnetic Nd(III), an f(3) metal ion, gives characteristic 4f-4f transition spectra in the visible and near infrared region. The sensitivity of 4f-4f transitions to minor coordination changes around paramagnetic Nd(3+) has been used to monitor hydrolysis during the progress of the sol-gel process of the multicomponent BLT precursors. The variation of intensities (oscillator strengths) of 4f-4f bands during hydrolysis, as well as the variation of Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters, has helped in following the preliminary kinetics of hydrolysis. Highly complex polycondensation reactions occurred during sol-gel hydrolysis of three BLT precursors. Rates of hydrolysis with respect to five 4f-4f transitions of Nd(III) were determined. The different types of multicomponent BLT precursors have shown different rates of hydrolysis, following the reactivity trend A > B > C.  相似文献
