The electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) at a MWNTs-modified glassy carbon electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), square wave voltammetry (SWV). The MWNTs modified electrode exhibited marked promotion of the electrochemical reaction of DA in different environments. Under optimum conditions, the peak currents of SWV of DA were increased linearly with incremental concentration of DA in the range from 5 × 10?7 to 1 × 10?5 mol L?1. The limit of detection is 3 × 10?7 mol L?1.  相似文献

Modification of glassy carbon (GC) surfaces with phenanthroline derivatives (PDs) such as 5‐amino‐1,10‐phenanthroline (5AP) and 5,6‐diamino‐1,10‐phenanthroline (56DAP) is described in this study. Surface modification experiments were performed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) scanning from + 1.2 to + 2.7 V at scan rate of 100 mV/s applying 30 potential scans in acetonitrile (CH3CN) containing 1 mM PDs and 100 mM tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate (TBATFB). The presence of PDs on GC electrode was confirmed using CV, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), contact angle measurements and ellipsometry and comparing with the results of bare GC electrode. A mechanism was proposed for the electrochemical modification of the GC electrode surface with PDs. The structure of the 5AP and 56DAP films was also discussed in the light of electrochemical and spectroscopic data. The complex‐forming ability of the modified surfaces against metal cations was investigated by square‐wave voltammetry (SWV). It was shown that surfaces having 1,10‐phenanthroline ligands with different functional groups were quite useful for the determination of transition metal ions. The detection of Allura red (AR) by electrochemical reduction using a different electrode from the conventional mercury electrode is presented. A carbon paste with cobalt (II, III) oxide composite electrode (CoOx/CPE) is reported for the first time for the detection of AR. Moreover, others dyes such as tartrazine (TZ), sunset yellow (SY), amaranth (AM), Ponceaut 4‐R (P‐4R), and Sudan (SD) as well as pharmaceutical agents such as paracetamol (PMC) that are present in samples that contained AR did not show a reduced signal between 0.0 and ?0.3 V, which is the potential range where AR reduction was observed. The surface electroactivity was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The presence of CoOX increased the cathodic peak current for AR by more than 50 % and 65 % via CV and square wave voltammetry (SWV), respectively, compared with an unmodified carbon paste electrode. Under the optimal parameters, (pH=3.0, accumulation time (tACC)=60 s and accumulation potential (EACC)=0.50 V), the detection limit for AR was 0.05 μmol L?1. The new sensor was sensitive and stable for the detection of AR. Moreover, it was easily manufactured and very convenient for food samples such as soft and isotonic drinks as well as chili sauce.  相似文献

A highly sensitive and selective chemical sensor was prepared based on metallic copper‐copper oxides and zinc oxide decorated graphene oxide modified glassy carbon electrode (Cu?Zn/GO/GCE) through an easily electrochemical method for the quantification of bisphenol A (BPA). The composite electrode was characterized via scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrochemical behavior of BPA in Britton‐Robinson (BR) buffer solution (pH 7.1) was examined using cyclic voltammetry (CV). Under optimized conditions, the square wave voltammetry (SWV) response of Cu?Zn/GO/GCE towards BPA indicates two linear relationships within concentrations (3.0 nmol L?1?0.1 μmol L?1 and 0.35 μmol L?1?20.0 μmol L?) and has a low detection limit (0.88 nmol L?1). The proposed electrochemical sensor based on Cu?Zn/GO/GCE is both time and cost effective, has good reproducibility, high selectivity as well as stability for BPA determination. The developed composite electrode was used to detect BPA in various samples including baby feeding bottle, pacifier, water bottle and food storage container and satisfactory results were obtained with high recoveries.  相似文献

An electrochemical study of the anthelmintic drug bithionol using edge plane pyrolytic graphite electrode (EPPGE) is presented for the first time by applying different electrochemical techniques, such as cyclic voltammetry (CV), square‐wave voltammetry (SWV), square‐wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry (SWAdSV), and alternating current (AC) impedance spectroscopy. Mechanistic aspects of the electrode reaction were studied implying a quasireversible electrode reaction from an adsorbed state of the reactant, coupled with a follow‐up chemical reaction to a final electroinactive product. The overall mechanism appears totally irreversible under conditions of CV at moderate scan rate, while being quasireversible under conditions of the fast SWV. Furthermore, an optimisation of the analytical procedure for quantitative determination of bithionol was conducted by applying SWV in an adsorptive stripping mode. The calibration curve was constructed in the concentration range of 0.1–1.0 μmol L?1 (R2=0.9984) with a sensitivity of 3.6 μA L μmol?1 and LOD of 26.7 nmol L?1. The simple and sensitive SWAdSV procedure was proved to be suitable for the analysis of spiked urine samples.  相似文献

Some dithiophosphonate derivatives were synthesized and the electrochemical reduction mechanism was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), square wave voltammetry (SWV) and chronoamperometry (CA) in 0.1 M tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate (TBATFB) in acetonitrile at platinum (Pt) and gold (Au) electrodes. Dithiophosphonates showed a cyclic voltammetric reduction peak at about ?1.1 V at Pt and ?1.3 V at Au electrode (vs. Ag/Ag+) in this media. It was also shown that dithiophosphonates can be determined quantitatively in acetonitrile using a calibration graph. The number of electrons transferred were calculated as 2 using ferrocene as a reference compound at the UME electrode. Mechanism of dithiophosphonates was also examined on Pt and Au electrodes and electrochemical reduction of dithiophosphonates seems to follow an EC mechanism with an irreversible electron transfer step. The reaction product in the bulk electrolysis experiment was isolated and identified using proton‐coupled P‐31 NMR, 13C‐NMR and IR spectroscopy. The adsorption tests for dithiophosphonates were revealed that no strong or weak adsorption phenomena exist on both Pt and Au electrodes. Simulation curves were acquired by DigiSim 3.03 version to investigate the reduction mechanism and to estimate the kinetic parameters for electrochemical and chemical steps.  相似文献

Tebuconazole, a pesticide that presents risks for ecosystems, groundwater and human health, was degraded on a gold electrode as the catalyst in 0.05 M NaHCO3 using cyclic voltammetry (CV). First, tebuconazole was characterized on the gold electrode using CV and square wave voltammetry (SWV). The gold electrode, being highly sensitive, provided linear relationships (currents vs. concentrations) in the range: (0.076–0.76 μmol dm–3). Based on the CV measurements, the investigated process is irreversible and diffusion-controlled. The observed catalytic role of the Au electrode in the oxidation of tebuconazole and the data obtained from CV and SWV provided the experimental conditions for the degradation of tebuconazole. The degradation was performed by continuous cycling followed by gas chromatography–mass spectroscopy (GC–MS) analysis. This enabled the catalytic elimination of tebuconazole for 60 min, which promoted the use of a gold electrode as the catalyst for the degradation of environmental pollutants. The scheme of the possible mechanism of tebuconazole degradation is given.  相似文献

An electrochemical method based on a cytochrome c biosensor was developed, for the detection of selected arsenic and cyanide compounds. Boron doped diamond (BDD) electrode was used as a transducer, onto which cytochrome c was immobilised and used for direct determination of Prussian blue, potassium cyanide and arsenic trioxide. The sensitivity as calculated from cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV), for each analyte in phosphate buffer (pH = 7) was found to be in the range of (1.1–4.5) × 10−8 A μM−1 and the detection limits ranged from 4.3 to 9.1 μM. The biosensor is therefore able to measure significantly lower than current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines, for these types of analytes. The protein binding was monitored as a decrease in biosensor peak currents by SWV and as an increase in biosensor charge transfer resistance by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). EIS provided evidence that the electrocatalytic advantage of BDD electrode was not lost upon immobilisation of cytochrome c. The interfacial kinetics of the biosensor was modelled as equivalent electrical circuit based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy data. UV–vis spectroscopy was used to confirm the binding of the protein in solution by monitoring the intensity of the soret bands and the Q bands. FTIR was used to characterise the protein in the immobilised state and to confirm that the protein was not denatured upon binding to the pre-treated bare BDD electrode. SNFTIR of cyt c immobilised at platinum electrode, was used to study the effect of oxidation state on the surface bond vibrations. The spherical morphology of the immobilised protein, which is typical of native cytochrome c, was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and confirmed the immobilisation of the cytochrome c without denaturisation.  相似文献

Hierarchical porous tubular biochar (PTBC) was prepared by selectively removing lignin simply according to reverse the pyrolysis sequence of cellulose. The properties of the PTBC sample were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectra, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The electrochemical performances of PTBC modified on the screen-printing electrode illustrated excellent detection of lead ions (lead (II)) in water with the linear range (0.5–120 μg/L) and the detection limit (0.02 μg/L) by in-situ bismuth film square wave anode stripping voltammetry.  相似文献

In our study, the single‐use & eco‐friendly electrochemical sensor platform based on herbal silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) was developed for detection of mercury (II) ion (Hg2+). For this purpose, the surface of pencil graphite electrode (PGE) was modified with AgNPs and folic acid (FA), respectively. The concentrations of AgNPs and FA were firstly optimized by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) to obtain an effective surface modification of PGE. Each step at the surface modification process was characterized by using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedence spectroscopy (EIS). The limit of detection (LOD) for Hg2+ was estimated and found to be 8.43 μM by CV technique. The sensor presented an excellent selectivity for Hg2+ against to other heavy metal ions such as Ca2+, Cd2+, Cr3+, Cu2+, Mg2+, Ni2+, Pb2+, Zn2+, Co2+ and Mn2+. Moreover, a rapid, selective and sensitive detection of Hg2+ was successfully performed in the samples of tap water within 1 min.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor based on Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) modified carbon paste electrode was designed for the toxic diuron pesticide detection. The ZnONPs were synthesized through the hydrothermal route and their structural properties were investigated via scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction powder (XRD). The designed ZnONPs-modified carbon paste electrode (ZnONPs-CPE) was characterized using cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The sensor showed significantly enhanced sensitivity on the diuron oxidation peak current, compared to the bare carbon paste electrode. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were performed using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Experimental parameters such as pH, amount of ZnONPs and frequency were evaluated and the optimized conditions were obtained with 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution at pH=8, a frequency of 50 Hz and a quantity of 5 mg of ZnONPs. Under these conditions, linear responses ranging from 1.3 to 7.7 μM and 8.6 to 30 μM of diuron were obtained, with correlation coefficients of R2=0.994 and 0.996 respectively. Detection and quantification limits of 0.22 μM and 0.84 μM (S/N=3) were respectively achieved based on the 3σ method. The interference of some ions on the oxidation peak of diuron on ZnONPs-CPE was also evaluated and no interference was observed, therefore demonstrating the selectivity of the sensor. The proposed sensor, designed with ecofriendly materials, is sensitive, selective and was effectively used for diuron determination in soils and water samples with recoveries ranging from 98 % to 101.5 %.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor for simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA), guanine (G), and adenine (A) has been constructed by copolymerizing melamine monomer and Ag ions on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with cyclic voltammetry. The poly-melamine and nano Ag formed a hybridized film on the surface of the GCE. The morphology of the film was characterized by scanning electron microscope. The electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties of this film were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, and square wave voltammetry (SWV). In 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 4.5), the modified electrode resolved the electrochemical response of DA, UA, G, and A into four well-defined voltammetric oxidation peaks by SWV; the oxidation peak current of DA, UA, G, and A increased 13-, 6-, 7-, and 9-fold, respectively, compared with those at the bare GCE and the SWV peak currents of DA, UA, G, and A with linear concentrations in the ranges of 0.1–50, 0.1–50, 0.1–50, and 0.1–60 μM, respectively. Based on this, a method for simultaneous determination of these species in mixture was setup. The detection limits were 10 nM for DA, 100 nM for UA, 8 nM for G, and 8 nM for A.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The rapid electrochemical determination of Aceclofenac (ACF) has been employed by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) using developed OH-functionalised multiwalled carbon nanotube carbon paste electrode (OH-MWCNT/CPE). Modified electrode was characterised by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDAX), X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The ACF exhibits two oxidation peaks at +0.4 V, +0.66 V and one reduction peak at +0.3 V. The active surface area of the bare carbon paste electrode (BCPE) and modified electrode have been characterised by using K3[Fe(CN)6] solution containing 0.1 M KCl. In DPV mode, variation of ACF gave the limit of detection (LOD = 3s/m) 0.246 μM over the concentration range 1.0 to 190.0 μM (R2 = 0.9994). The developed electrode has good stability, reproducibility and could be successfully validated for the detection of ACF in pharmaceutical samples and biological fluids.  相似文献

A sensitive square-wave voltammetry (SWV) method based on basal-plane pyrolytic graphite electrode (BPPGE) and edge-plane pyrolytic graphite electrode (EPPGE) was developed to determine the concentration of the pesticide mandipropamid (MAN) in spiked river water and grape juice samples. Under optimal experimental conditions, the SWV response of EPPGE and BPPGE was linear over the concentration ranges of 0.7 to 9.0 μmol L−1 and 0.5 to 10.0 μmol L−1, respectively. The method was successfully used to determine MAN in spiked samples with good recovery. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was conducted to understand the mechanism underlying the electrode process of MAN.  相似文献

A novel carbon paste electrode modified with carbon nanotubes and 5‐amino‐2′‐ethyl‐biphenyl‐2‐ol (5AEB) was fabricated. The electrochemical study of the modified electrode, as well as its efficiency for electrocatalytic oxidation of levodopa (LD) and carbidopa (CD), is described. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to investigate the redox properties of this modified electrode at various scan rates. The apparent charge transfer rate constant, ks, and transfer coefficient, a, for electron transfer between 5AEB and CPE were calculated as 17.3 s?1 and 0.5, respectively. Square wave voltammetry (SWV) exhibits a linear dynamic range from 2.5×10?7 to 2.0×10?4 M and a detection limit of 9.0×10?8 M for LD.  相似文献

This present study describes a pencil graphite electrode surface covered with Cu(II) and Fe(III) complexes based on Salophen derivative Schiff bases in acetonitrile solution containing LiClO4 as a supporting electrolyte. Cyclic voltammetry method was used for the surface modification procedure with 25 cycle at a sweep rate of 50 mV s?1. Some characterization methods were used to identify of the prepared modified surfaces including cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), Ultraviolet‐visible Spectroscopy (UV‐Vis), and Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive X‐ray Spectroscopy (SEM/SEM‐EDX). The catalytic activity of these modified surfaces on the electrochemical oxidation of catechol (CC) was investigated and they compared with each other. The results demonstrated that these modified electrodes showed perfect electrocatalytic activity on the catechol determination, however the modified electrode prepared with the Cu(II) complex has higher catalytic activity than this prepared with the Fe(III) complex thanks to its the lower detection limit.  相似文献

Gold electrode was modified with a 4-aminothiophenol layer (4-ATPh) to immobilize DNA. The immobilized DNA served as a template for the alignment of positively charged anilinium ions. The electrochemical oxidation of the anilinium ions resulted in wrapping of the DNA with polyaniline. This polyaniline coated DNA was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), impedance spectroscopy and UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy.  相似文献

4-Aminothiophenol (4-ATP) self-assembled monolayer (SAM) was immobilized on gold electrode. The multi-layered protein film electrode was prepared to rinse the 4-ATP-Au electrode in poly-styrenesulfonate (PSS) and poly-dimerthyldiallylammonium chloride (PDDA) successively, then soaked in a solution containing photosynthetic reaction center (RC) protein from Rhodobacter sphaeriodes or its pigment-replaced mutant. Thus, RC was found embedded in an ordered-orientation film. In cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV), Au electrode gave a series of electrochemical signals due to the redox reaction of RC protein or its mutants. Intermolecular direct electron transfer (ET) was studied in this work.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode that was chemically modified with 3-(4'-amino-3'-hydroxy-biphenyl-4-yl)-acrylic acid (3,4-AA) was used as a selective electrochemical sensor for the detection of hydroxylamine. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), choronoamperometry (CHA) and square wave voltammetry (SWV) were used to investigate oxidation of hydroxylamine in aqueous solution. Under optimized concentration the electrocatalytic oxidation current peak for hydroxylamine increased linearly with concentration in the range of 0.025–10.0 μM. The detection limits for hydroxylamine was 0.012 μM. Finally, the modified electrode was applied to detection hydroxylamine in water samples.  相似文献
