Novel and fast deep eutectic solvent (DES)-based homogeneous liquid–liquid microextraction (HLLME) was applied for the extraction of copper from vegetable samples followed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). 1,5-diphenyl carbazone (DPC) was used as the chelating agent, and a DES was used as the extraction media. The utilized DES was based on benzyl triphenyl phosphonium bromide and ethylene glycol in a 1:8?mole ratio. The phase separation phenomenon was occurred by changing of sample temperature. Several factors influencing the extraction efficiency were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, an enhancement factor of 64 was obtained. The limit of detection, based on three signal-to-noise ratio, and limit of quantification were found to be 0.13?µg L?1 and 5.0?µg L?1, respectively. The calibration curve was linear within the range of 5.0–250?µg L?1 with r2 > 0.9957. Intra- and inter-day relative standard deviations (%) of 2.1% and 2.6% were obtained at the concentration of 25?µg L?1. The accuracy of the proposed method was evaluated by analyzing a tomato leaves certified reference material and the results were to be in agreement with the certified value. Finally, the feasibility of the method was successfully confirmed by determination of copper in spinach, lettuce, broccoli, potato, carrot and parsley samples.  相似文献

A new, rapid and sensitive method for the determination of aromatic amines such as o-nitroaniline (NIT), alpha-naphtylamine (NAP), o-chloroaniline (CHL) in environmental water samples was developed with dispersive liquid phase micro-extraction coupled with high performance liquid chromatography. Preliminary experiments indicated that excellent achievements were obtained when chlorobenzene and acetonitrile were employed as the extraction solvent and dispersive solvent, respectively. Some other parameters that would have important effect on the pre-concentration of aromatic amines were investigated in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the method had excellent linear relationship between the peak area and the concentration for NIT, NAP and CHL in the concentration range of 1?~?50?µg?L?1. The limits of detection and precisions of the proposed method were in the range of 0.1?~?0.7?µg?L?1 and 6.3?~?9.7%, respectively. The proposed method has been validated with two real water samples, and the results showed that excellent spiked recoveries in the range of 92.8%?~?111.5% were achieved. All these demonstrated that the proposed method would be very useful and applicable for the determination of such pollutants in the future.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The parabens, which are harmful to our bodies, are primarily utilized as preservatives in medicine, personal care products and cosmetics. A novel, more efficient, fast and cheap vortex-assisted liquid phase microextraction method based on deep eutectic solvents (DESs) was developed for the determination of parabens. The microextraction conditions were optimized using these solvents and the analytical parameters of the method were determined under optimal microextraction conditions. After extraction, the chromatographic separation of parabens was undertaken using high-performance liquid chromatography-UV detection. Experimental parameters, such as DES type, DES volume, dilution solvent volume and vortex extraction time were optimized. DES6 [ChCl-Ethylene glycol (1/2)] was the most suitable DES to work in this study. Detection limits for this method of 0.053 µg mL?1 for methylparaben, 0.061 µg mL?1 for ethylparaben, 0.049 µg mL?1 for propylparaben and 0.052 µg mL?1 for butylparaben were obtained. Correlation coefficients (R2) for a concentration range of 0.1–100 µg mL?1 were higher than 0.9992 and relative standard deviation (RSD) values below 2.91% at parabens concentration of 2.5 µg mL?1 were obtained. The results of spike/recovery values of real samples were greater than 84%. When compared with other methods, the main advantages include lower LOD, short extraction time, rapidity, repeatability and simplicity.  相似文献

A deep eutectic solvent (DES) of choline chloride and thiourea was synthesised, immobilised on the surface of graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets and reinforced inside the pores of the hollow fibre (DES-GO-HF). Then, solid-phase microextraction flame atomic absorption spectrometry was designed for separation, preconcentration and determination of trace amounts of silver. Various parameters affecting the extraction recovery of the analyte, such as pH, sample volume, type of DES, extraction time, length of the hollow fiber, nature, as well as the volume and concentration of the eluent, were investigated and optimised. Under optimum conditions, the method showed good linearity in the concentration range of 1.0–40.0 µg L?1 with the determination coefficient of (r2) 0.9990 for silver. The method was very sensitive and has limits of detection and quantification (defined as 3Sb/m and 10Sb/m) of 0.2 and 0.7 µg L?1, respectively. The method was successfully applied for the determination of Ag(I) in water, wastewater, ore and hair samples. The accuracy of the method was evaluated through the recovery experiments and the analysis of certified reference materials.  相似文献

Lucigenin chemiluminescence (CL) in conjunction with flow-injection analysis (FIA) is used for the determination of phosphate in freshwater samples. The procedure is based on the formation of molybdophosphoric heteropoly acid (MoP–HPA) by the reaction of phosphate and ammonium molybdate under acidic conditions. CL emission was observed as a result of oxidation of lucigenin in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution in the presence of MoP–HPA. Calibration was linear up to 500?µg?L?1 (r 2?=?0.9998; n?=?8), with a detection limit (S/N?=?3) of 0.95?µg?L?1. An injection throughput of 120 h?1, and relative standard deviation (RSD; n?=?4) of 1.3–3.2% were achieved in the concentration range studied. An on-line chelating column was used to remove interfering cations. The method was applied to freshwater samples, and the results (51?±?1.0 – 107?±?2.0?µg?L?1) did not differ significantly from results obtained using a spectrophotometric method (52.5?±?1.0 – 102?±?2.0?µg?L?1) at 95% confidence level (t-test).  相似文献

In this study, a simple and efficient method of ligandless-ultrasound-assisted emulsification microextraction (LL-USAEME) followed by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) has been developed for simultaneous extraction, preconcentration and determination of manganese, cadmium, cobalt and nickel in water samples. In the proposed approach, tetrachloroethylene was selected as extraction solvent. The effect of important experimental factors such as volume of extraction solvent, pH, sonication time, salt concentration, and temperature was investigated by using a fractional factorial design (25?1) to identify important factors and their interactions. In the next step, a Box-Behnken design (BBD) was applied for optimisation of significant factors. The obtained optimal conditions were: 30?µL for extraction solvent, 12 for pH, 5?min for sonication time, and 5% w/v for salt concentration. The limits of detections (LODs) for Cd(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Ni(II) were 0.20, 0.13, 0.21 and 0.28?µg?L?1, respectively. Relative standard deviations (RSD, C?=?200.0?µg?L?1, n?=?9) were between 3.4–7.5% and the calibration graphs were linear in the range of 0.25 to 1000.0?µg?L?1 for Mn, 0.5–1000.0?µg?L?1 for Co and Ni and 1.0–250.0?µg?L?1 for Cd. The determination coefficients (R 2) of the calibration curves for the analytes were in the range of 0.993 to 0.999. The proposed method was validated by using two certified reference materials, and also the method was applied successfully for the determination of heavy metals in different real water samples.  相似文献

Extraction and determination of seven aromatic amines in environmental water samples were performed with solid-phase extraction (SPE) and micellar liquid chromatography (MLC) using experimental design. Extraction of aromatic amines was carried out with a C18 cartridge modified with sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS). The washing solution and elution solvent for extraction of aromatic amines were aqueous solution containing 5% (v/v) acetonitrile and 5% (v/v) acetone and 3 mL methanol, respectively. The chemometrics approach was applied for the separation optimisation of these compounds using MLC. Different mobile phase compositions were used for modelling based on retention times to obtain the best separation using central composite design. The optimum mobile phase composition for separation and determination of analytes in water samples was 69 mM SDS, 9% v/v 1-propanol and pH = 6.4. Recoveries were between 84.8–93.5% with relative standard deviation (RSD) less than 5.8% (n = 5). Limits of detection and linear range were 1–4.5 and 3.1–125.0 µg/L, respectively. The proposed method was applied to determine the aromatic amines in real samples (river and well waters). Amount of 4-nitroaniline and 3-nitroaniline in river water sample were 2.15 and 1.91 µg/L, respectively.  相似文献

A sequential voltammetric procedure for the determination of uranium, cadmium and lead was investigated at an ex situ bismuth film electrode (BiFE). First, the adsorptive stripping voltammetry was applied to assay the U(VI)‐cupferron complex in the differential pulse mode (detection limit of 1.0 µg L?1, 200 s accumulation time). Through the manipulation of the same aliquot of the sample, efforts were made to quantify cadmium and lead by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry. Detection limits of 2.03 µg L?1 for Cd (II) and 2.43 µg L?1 for Pb (II) were calculated (100 s accumulation time). The methodology was successfully applied to phosphate fertilizer samples after open vessel wet decomposition (HNO3/H2O2). The following value ranges were evaluated: U (VI) 37.2–150 mg kg?1, Pb (II) 78.3–204 mg kg?1 and Cd (II) 44.1–71.6 mg kg?1. Validation was performed by using the standard reference materials SRM‐695 – phosphate fertilizer – and SRM‐1643e – water.  相似文献

A novel method for the online extraction and preconcentration of four sulfonamides was developed using column switching liquid chromatography. Sulfadiazine, sulfathiazole, sulfamethoxypyridazine and sulfamethoxazole were analysed in water samples and preconcentrated in a C18 guard column. Suitable validation parameters were obtained, such as precision, accuracy and relative recovery, in accordance with the validation guidelines of the Food and Drug Administration. Low limits of detection (0.05–0.09 µg L?1) and quantification (0.30 µg L?1, for all of them) were obtained. The quadratic polynomial model was used to adjust the calibration data, and the coefficients of determination were higher than 0.999 for all the analytes. The method was shown to be robust to the assayed parameters according to Youden’s test. The proposed method was successfully used to determine sulfonamides in 11 different fish farming water samples, in which sulfadiazine (0.732 µg L?1), sulfamethoxazole (0.531 µg L?1), sulfathiazole (0.546–1.856 µg L?1) and sulfamethoxypyridazine (0.369–1.509 µg L?1) were found.  相似文献

A simple and powerful microextraction technique was used for determination of cadmium in water samples using liquid phase microextraction (LPME) followed by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GF-AAS). In a preconcentration step, cadmium was extracted from a 2 mL of its aqueous sample in the pH = 6 as cadmium-2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) cationic complex into a 4 µL drop of nitrobenzene and ammonium tetraphenylborate as counter ion. In the drop, the cadmium-2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) ammonium tetraphenylborate ion associated complex was formed. After extraction, the microdrop was retracted and directly transferred into a graphite tube modified by [Pd(c) + Pd(i)]. Some effective parameters on extraction and complex formation, such as type and volume of organic solvent, pH, concentration of chelating agent and counter ion, extraction time and stirring rate were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factor and recovery were 390 and 78%, respectively. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 0.01–1 µg L 1 with correlation coefficient of 0.9952 under the optimum conditions of the recommended procedure. The detection limit based on the 3Sb criterion was 0.0065 µg L 1 and relative standard deviation (RSD) for eight replicate measurements of 0.1 µg L 1 and 0.4 µg L 1 cadmium was 6.4 and 5.8% respectively. The characteristic concentration was 0.0014 µg L 1 equivalent to a characteristic mass of 5.6 fg. In order to evaluate the accuracy and recovery of the presented method the procedure was applied to the analysis of reference materials and seawater.  相似文献

Using 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C6MIM][PF6]) ionic liquid as extraction solvent, five estrogens including estrone (E1), 17β-estradiol (E2), estriol (E3), 17α -ethynylestradiol (EE2), and diethylstilbestrol (DES) in water samples were determined by dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) followed by high performance liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector and a fluorescence detector (HPLC-DAD-FLD). The extraction procedure was induced by the formation of cloudy solution, which was composed of fine drops of [C6MIM][PF6] dispersed entirely into the sample solution with the help of a disperser solvent (acetone). Parameters including both extraction and disperser solvents and their volumes, extraction and centrifugal time, sample pH, and salt effect were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, 110–349 fold enrichment factors of analytes were obtained. The calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 0.2–100 µg L?1 for E2, E3, and EE2 detected with FLD, and 1–100 µg L?1 for E1 and DES detected with DAD. The correlation coefficient of the calibration curve was between 0.9990 and 0.9997. The limits of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) for the five estrogens were in the range of 0.08–0.5 µg L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSD) for six replication experiments at the concentration of 5.0 µg L?1 were ≤5.7%. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of three water samples from different sources (river water, waste water, and sea water). The relative recoveries of spiked water samples are satisfied with 89.3–102.4% and 88.7–105.2% at two different concentration levels of 5.0 and 50.0 µg L?1, respectively.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to develop a method for the characterization of internal exposure to arsenic, which is thought to play a role in the development of a kidney disease, known as Balkan Endemic Nephropathy, typical for a district in Bulgaria, and to investigate whether the As body burden differs in the offspring versus control individuals. For this case study, an analytical procedure for the determination of toxicologically relevant arsenic (the sum of arsenite, arsenate, monomethylarsonate, and dimethylarsinate) in urine by batch-type hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry was developed. Optimization experiments for levelling off the sensitivity of inorganic arsenic and its mono- and dimethylated species in dilute HCl–L-cysteine medium were performed. The limit of detection for hydride forming arsenic fraction was 0.5?ng As, i.e. 0.25?µg?L?1 in 10?mL of 1?+?4 v/v diluted urine. The relative standard deviation was typically 1.5–1.8% for aqueous solution and 2–6% for urine samples at 1.0?µg?L?1 As. The sample throughput rate was 15?h?1. No statistical correlation and cross-correlation between individuals case-control and sex at 95% confidence were found: controls (n?=?99), mean 3.5?±?2.1 (SD), range 0.9–10.4, median 3.0?µg?L?1 As and cases (n?=?102), mean 3.6?±?2.2 (SD), range 0.5–11.0, median 3.2?µg?L?1 As. On the basis of this study, arsenic can be excluded as a factor involved in BEN development.  相似文献

The new dibutyltin(IV) complexes of Schiff bases is designed & synthesis from the interaction between various substituted amines and aromatic aldehyde with general formula Bu2Sn(L1-7)2Cl2. Where L1: (E)-4-chloro-N-(thiophen-2-ylmethylene) aniline; L2: (E)-2-chloro-N-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene) aniline; L3: (E)-N-((1H-indol-3-yl) methylene)-4-chloro-2-nitroaniline; L4: (E)-4-nitro-N-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene) aniline; L5: (E)-N-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene) aniline; L6: (E)-4-nitro-N-(thiophen-3-ylmethylene) aniline; L7: (E)-4-chloro-2-nitro-N-(pyridin-3-ylmethylene) aniline. Analytical and spectroscopic methods, such as molar conductance measurement, UV–Vis, IR, NMR, and DFT studies, have been used to describe newly synthesised compounds. The DFT studies have also provided confirmation regarding the complexes' geometry. The results of the Tauc equation indicate that the fundamental band gap of the compound [Bu2Sn(L5)2Cl2] is 2.670 eV, which is in agreement with the findings of DFT studies, which indicate that the band gap is 2.657 eV. The bactericidal effects of Schiff bases and their dibutyltin(IV) complexes were tested. The antibacterial activity of organotin(IV) complexes is enhanced in comparison to that of the free ligands.  相似文献

Magnetic graphene oxide/lanthanum phosphate nanocomposite (MGO@LaP) was synthesized and used as an efficient adsorbent for magnetic dispersive microsolid-phase extraction (MD-µ-SPE) of pesticides before gas chromatography–electron capture detector (GC–ECD) analysis. The adsorbent was thoroughly characterized with scanning electron microscopy, vibrating sample magnetometer, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Optimized extraction conditions were investigated concerning extraction time, adsorbent amount, sample pH, and salt amount as well as desorption conditions (type and volume of desorption solvent and desorption time). Under the optimal conditions, the method demonstrated good linearity (3–1500 µg L?1) with satisfactory determination coefficients of >?0.997 and low detection limits for both chlorpyrifos (0.67 µg L?1) and hexaconazole (0.89 µg L?1). Finally, the method showed high analyte relative recoveries in the range of 78–120% for the determination of the selected pesticides in water and fruit juice samples.

ABSTRACT

In this work, a novel layered sorbent for microextraction by packed sorbent (MEPS) was introduced, which has been prepared by coating graphene oxide/polyamide (GO/PA) nanocomposite (NC) onto cellulose paper through solvent exchange method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was applied to investigate the surface characteristic and morphology of PA and GO/PA NC coated on cellulose paper. The prepared MEPS device was used for extraction of organophosphorous pesticides (OPPs) including chlorpyrifos, fenthion, fenithrothion, ethion, edifenphos and phosalone in environmental aqueous samples followed by detection using gas chromatography-flame ionisation detector (GC-FID). Important parameters affecting the MEPS method including pH of sample solution, extraction draw-discard cycles, sorbent layers, desorption solvent volume and desorption draw-eject number were studied and optimised using central composite design (CCD). Based on the method validation, limits of detection (LODs) were in the range of 0.2–1 µg L?1. The calibration graphs for chlorpyrifos, fenthion and edifenphos are linear in the concentration range of 1 to 500 µg L?1; for ethion and phosalone are linear in the range of 1–1000 µg L?1 and for fenithrothion is linear in the range of 3–1000 µg L?1. The method precision (RSD %) with six replicates determinations was in the range of 3 to 9.4 % and 3.9 to 11.9% for distilled water and spiked river water sample, respectively, at the concentration level of 300 µg L?1 . The developed method was applied successfully to determine OPP compounds in river, dam and tap water samples; accordingly, the relative recoveries (RR%) were obtained in the range of 77.8 to 113.3%.  相似文献

Liquid chromatography with amperometric detection (LC-AD) is developed and applied to simultaneously determine five aromatic amines. In the LC-AD, a new carbon nanotubes/poly(3-methylthiophene) modified dual-electrode is fabricated and then used as the working electrode. It is found that this chemically modified electrode (CME) exhibits efficiently electrocatalytic oxidation for aromatic amines with relatively high sensitivity, stability and long-life. Thus, lower detection in LC-AD can be achieved, which are 4.0 × 10–8 mol L–1 for aniline, 1.6 ×10–7 mol L–1 for 4-nitroaniline, 1.0 × 10–7 mol L–1 for 4-chloroaniline, 1.5 × 10–7 mol L–1 for 1-naphthylamine, 1.7 × 10–7 mol L–1 for 2-bromoaniline. The recoveries of the five analytes are also determined, which range between 0.95 and 1.05 for drinking water, 0.86 and 1.10 for the LiWa River water.  相似文献

An ultraviolet-photochemical generator (UV-PVG) capable of post-column on-line transformation of both organic and inorganic mercury species to cold vapor (Hg0) with subsequent detection by quartz tube-atomic absorption spectrometry (QT-AAS) was developed. Mercury(II), methylmercury(I), ethylmercury(I), and phenylmercury(I) were successfully detected after separation by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). Two types of AAS detectors were compared. The first was a commonly used line-source instrument while the second was a high-resolution continuum source (HR-CS) AAS. The latter provided better limits of detection: 0.47?µg?L?1 for Hg(II), 0.84?µg?L?1 for methylmercury(I), 0.80?µg?L?1 for ethylmercury(I), and 2.0?µg?L?1 for phenylmercury(I). The repeatability at 30?μg?L?1 was 3.6%, 4.1%, 6.2%, and 4.5% for these species (n?=?10). These figures of merit were comparable with those reported for more sensitive atomic fluorescence spectrometry. Nine sample extraction procedures were investigated. Extraction by tetramethylammonium hydroxide and HCl at 75?°C was selected as the only method compatible with the proposed separation and detection steps providing high extraction efficiency and no changes in mercury speciation. The applicability of the proposed high-performance liquid chromatography–ultraviolet-photochemical vapor generation–quartz tube-atomic absorption spectrometry method was demonstrated using fish samples and certified reference materials (CRM) DOLT-4 (dogfish liver) and ERM-CE464 (tuna fish). The results were comparable to those obtained by a reference method based on L-cysteine extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography–inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (HPLC–ICP-MS) determination.  相似文献

In this work, a solidified floating organic drop microextraction was developed based on a vesicular supramolecular solvent consisting of decanoic acid and quaternary ammonium. The method was used for preconcentration of trace amount of cadmium in different rice samples followed by flow-injection analysis–flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Several parameters affecting the extraction efficiency including pH, concentration of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol as the chelating agent, sample and extraction solvent volume, stirring rate, extraction time, salt effect, and interfering ions were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, a preconcentration factor of 84 was achieved. LOD and LOQ were found to be 0.09 and 0.31 µg L?1, respectively. The calibration curve was linear within the range of 5.0–700 µg L?1 (r2?>?0.9978). Intra- and inter-day precisions (RSD% n?=?3) were estimated 2.7 and 3.9% at the concentration of 20 µg L?1, respectively. The accuracy of the method was successfully validated by analysis of an SRM-1643f standard reference material. Relative recoveries were achieved within the range of 93–107% elucidating suitability of the method for determination of cadmium in rice samples.  相似文献

Screen‐printed electrodes (SPEs) are cheap and disposable. But their application for heavy metal detection is limited due to the low sensitivity and poor selectivity. Here we report the ultrasensitive and simultaneous determination of Zn2+, Cd2+ and Pb2+ on a multiwalled carbon nanotubes and Nafion composite modified SPE with in situ plated bismuth film (MWCNTs/NA/Bi/SPE). The linear curves range from 0.5–100 µg L?1 for Zn2+ and 0.5–80 µg L?1 for Cd2+. Uniquely, the linear curve for Pb2+ ranges from 0.05–100 µg L?1 with a detection limit of 0.01 µg L?1. The practical application was verified in real samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献
