The precise bearing problem of digital split-beam sonar is described in this paper.By using theprinciple of cross power spectrum method proposed by Piersol for estimating the time delay between twosignals,the relationship between signal incidental angle and the time delay of equivalent acousticcenters of line or circle array are derived.Based on these expression,the precise value of bearing anglefor the target can be directly calculated from the input data. The accuracy of the estimates which depends on the number of accumulation,the length of DFTand the sample period is given.We have also described the error due to the truncating for randomsignal.The methods of improving the estimation accuracy,such as the weighting for estimates,win-dowing for input data and choosing the suitable parameters for DFT are given. The block diagram and a part of results of system simulation are presented.The method proposedin this paper is available in the real-time tracking of multiple targets of digital sonar.  相似文献

Short baseline(SBL) system is one of the most significant systems for underwater positioning.In shallow water or littoral environment the system faces problems of large error in delay estimation and system instability because of severe multi-path.To address those problems,this paper proposes a SBL system transmitting a wideband signal combined with time-reversal.The effect of multi-path propagation on response signal is compensated by time reversal focusing which is derived from the channel multi-path characteristics.Results of simulations and actual experiments in lake show that the proposed scheme reduces errors in delay estimation.It is proved that time reversal mirror improves the accuracy and precision of underwater vehicle navigation and positioning.  相似文献

A method of two-dimensional direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for low altitude target, which is based on intensity measurement using a three-dimensional differential pressure acoustic vector-sensor, is presented. With the perfect characteristics of acoustic vector sensor in the low frequency band, accurate DOA estimation is achieved under small array size. The validity of the proposed method was assessed by experiments on the noise signals radiated by a helicopter. The influence of acoustic sensor size, integral time and signal to noise ratio to the accuracy of DOA estimation were investigated, respectively. The performance comparisons demonstrated that it outperformed the traditional time-delay measurement based method for a small acoustic array.  相似文献

The El Nifio-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is an interannual phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific Oceanatmosphere interactions. In this paper, an asymptotic method of solving the nonlinear equation for the ENSO model is used. And based on a class of oscillator of ENSO model, the approximate solution of a corresponding problem is studied by employing the perturbation method. Firstly, an ENSO model of nonlinear time delay equation of equatorial Pacific is introduced, Secondly, by using the perturbed method, the zeroth and first order asymptotic perturbed solutions are constructed. Finally, from the comparison of the values for a figure, it is seen that the first asymptotic perturbed solution using the perturbation method has a good accuracy. And it is proved from the results that the perturbation method can be used as an analytic operation for the sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial Pacific of the atmosphere-ocean oscillation for the ENSO model.  相似文献

Time Series Prediction Based on Chaotic Attractor   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A new prediction technique is proposed for chaotic time series. The usefulness of the technique is that it can kick off some false neighbor points which are not suitable for the local estimation of the dynamics systems. A time-delayed embedding is used to reconstruct the underlying attractor, and the prediction model is based on the time evolution of the topological neighboring in the phase space. We use a feedforward neural network to approximate the local dominant Lyapunov exponent, and choose the spatial neighbors by the Lyapunov exponent. The model is tested for the Mackey-Glass equation and the convection amplitude of lorenz systems. The results indicate that this prediction technique can improve the prediction of chaotic time series.  相似文献

This paper proposed a method for blind estimation of underwater channels in shallow water environment by using received data at a single hydrophone or from single beam. First,the received signal is used for source signal reconstruction by means of signal-dependent TF(Time-Frequency)distribution,in association with instantaneous frequency estimation and TF inversion.Then the shallow-water channel estimation is achieved via WRELAX technique by use of the received signal and the estimated source signal.Finally,the results of numerical simulation and experimental test from real data taken in South China Sea trial have proved satisfactory.It is shown that the proposed method is useful for underwater channel estimation.  相似文献

Optical buffers are critical for optical signal processing in future optical packet-switched networks. In this paper, a theoretical study as well as an experimental demonstration on a new optical buffer with large dynamical delay time is carried out based on cascaded double loop optical buffers (DLOBs). It is found that pulse distortion can be restrained by a negative optical control mode when the optical packet is in the loop. Noise analysis indicates that it is feasible to realise a large variable delay range by cascaded DLOBs. These conclusions are validated by the experiment system with 4-stage cascaded DLOBs. Both the theoretical simulations and the experimental results indicate that a large delay range of 1-9999 times the basic delay unit and a fine granularity of 25 ns can be achieved by the cascaded DLOBs. The performance of the cascaded DLOBs is suitable for the all optical networks.  相似文献

Lidar is an efficient tool for remote monitoring, but the effective range is often limited by signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). By the power spectral estimation, we find that digital filters are not fit for processing lidar signals buried in noise. In this paper, we present a new method of the lidar signal acquisition based on the wavelet trimmed thresholding technique to increase the effective range of lidar measurements. The performance of our method is investigated by detecting the real signals in noise. The experiment results show that our approach is superior to the traditional methods such as Butterworth filter.  相似文献

The frequency invariability of the warped modal signal and the warped signal autocorrelation function in shallow water is discussed.A method is proposed for passive source-range estimation based on the frequency invariability and warping transform of signal autocorrelation function received by a single hydrophone in a range-independent or weak range-dependent shallow water environment.In the method,a guided source with a known range is employed to provide the crucial and relative invariant scaled features.The experimental data in shallow water with an iso-speed profile and a fluctuated thermocline are used to verify this approach.The relative errors of the source range estimation are basically less than 10%.  相似文献

Instability of pump turbine with S-shaped curve is characterized by large fluctuations of rotational speed during the transient processes.For investigating this phenomenon,a numerical model based on the dynamic sliding mesh method(DSSM)is presented and used to numerically solve the 3D transient flow which is characterized by the variable rotation speed of runner.The method is validated by comparison with measured data for a load rejection process in a prototype pump turbine.The results show that the calculated rotation speed agrees well with the experimental data.Based on the validated model,simulations were performed for the runaway process using an artificially assumed operating condition under which the unstable rotation speed is expected to appear.The results confirm that the instability of runner rotational speed can be effectively captured with the proposed method.Presented results include the time history profiles of unit flow rate and unit rotating speed.The internal flow characteristics in a typical unstable period are discussed in detail and the mechanism of the unstable hydraulic phenomenon is explained.Overall,the results suggest that the method presented here can be a viable alternative to predict the dynamic characteristics of pump turbines during transient processes.  相似文献

Real time phase regeneration is necessary for degraded phase modulation format optical communication systems.A regenerator based on the discrimitive gain effect of a semiconductor optical amplifier was proposed in recent years.In this paper,for this type of regenerator,its optimal working condition is found by solving the dynamic equations which describe the variance of the optical field and carrier density in the semiconductor optical amplifier by the finite difference method.The results show that the optimal improvement of signal Q factor can reach more than 2.2 dB.  相似文献

A time delay equation for the sea--air oscillator model is studied. The aim is to create an asymptotic solving method of nonlinear equation for the El Ni\tilde{\rm n}o--Southern Oscillation model. And based on a class of oscillators of the model, employing the method of ENSO singular perturbation, the asymptotic solution of corresponding problem is obtained. It is proven from the results that the method of singular perturbation can be used for analysing the sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial eastern Pacific of the atmosphere--ocean oscillation for ENSO model.  相似文献

<正>In this paper,the problem of delay-distribution-dependent stability is investigated for continuous-time recurrent neural networks(CRNNs) with stochastic delay.Different from the common assumptions on time delays,it is assumed that the probability distribution of the delay taking values in some intervals is known a priori.By making full use of the information concerning the probability distribution of the delay and by using a tighter bounding technique(the reciprocally convex combination method),less conservative asymptotic mean-square stable sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Two numerical examples show that our results are better than the existing ones.  相似文献

A focusing transform based minimum variance method (FTMV) is proposed for estimating the azimuth angles of wideband signals. The estimation error of Direction of Arrival (DOA) in the traditional Minimum Variance (MV) method during the array direction changing with the ship can be eliminated by focusing the sample covariance matrices in wideband onto a single narrowband, and accumulating the beamformer outputs on azimuth. Then, the azimuth angles of signals can be estimated accurately. Experimental results show that the FTMV method is more efficient and robust than the MV method in this case.  相似文献

The effects of movement errors on imaging results of synthetic aperture sonar andt he necessity of movement compensation are discussed. Based on analyzing so-called displaced phase center algorithm, an improved algorithm is proposed. In this method, the time delay is estimated firstly, then the phase is estimated for the residual error, so that the range of movement error suited to the algorithm is extended to some extent. Some simulation results on computer and experimental results in the test tank using the proposed algorithm are given as well.  相似文献

This paper addresses the probability of atmospheric refractivity estimation by using field measurements at an array of radio receivers in terms of angle-of-arrival spectrum.Angle-of-arrival spectrum information is simulated by the ray optics model and refractivity is expressed in the presence of an ideal tri-linear profile.The estimation of the refractivity is organized as an optimization problem and a genetic algorithm is used to search for the optimal solution from various trial refractivity profiles.Theoretical analysis demonstrates the feasibility of this method to retrieve the refractivity parameters.Simulation results indicate that this approach has a fair anti-noise ability and its accuracy performance is mainly dependent on the antenna aperture size and its positions.  相似文献

We report a method to realize the arbitrary inverse unitary transformation imposed by a single-mode fibre on photon's polarization by the succession of two quarter-wave plates and a half-wave plate. The process of realization is analysed on a Poincar6 sphere due to the fact that unitary transformation does not change the angle formed by polarization state vector. The method is meaningful in quantum communication experiment such as quantum teleportation, in which an unknown arbitrary quantum state should be kept to be unchanged in the case of using a single-mode fibre for time delay.[第一段]  相似文献

This paper reports that the actual fluorescence lifetime 7.64±0.06ns of a10%-glyoxal water solution is determined for the first time from the laser-induced fluores-cence decay curve detected by the system with a response time in the order of magnitude ofnanosecond and processed by deconvolution on combination with phase plane method and iter-ative convolution method.The experimental method presented in this paper is regarded as aneffective method for measuring the fluorescence lifetime in nanoseconds or even in sub-nanoseconds by means of a detecting system with an order of magnitude of nanosecond.  相似文献

A small spatial optical filter is put into the rapid-scanning optical delay line (RSOD) to shape the spectrum of the reference beam in optical coherence tomography (OCT). The experimental results show that the longitudinal resolution can be improved by a factor of 81% with this method, while at the same time, the signal-to-noise ratio of the OCT system is not much affected. This method can be used in OCT systems that use RSOD as the reference arm with a light source of superluminescent diodes, femtosecond lasers and crystal fibre as well.  相似文献
