Conditions were developed for the synthesis and production of 1-aryl-5-alkyl(aryl)-3H- and 1-aryl-5-alkyl(aryl)-5H-pyrrolin-2-ones from the amides and esters of 4-oxoalkanoic acids. It was established that the yield and ratio of the 3H and 5H isomers depend on the substrate employed in the reaction. 相似文献

The aminolysis of 5-aryl-3-arylidene-3H-furan-2-ones by the action of aromatic amines leads to the formation of substituted amides of 4-oxo acids, the subsequent azacyclization of which in the presence of acetic anhydride leads to the formation of 1,5-diaryl-substituted 3-arylidene-3H-pyrrol-2-ones. AbstractThe reaction of 3-allylrhodanine with 2-arylidene-4-methyl-5-oxopyrazolidinium ylides proceeded unexpectedly to form novel 3-allyl-5-(arylidene)-2-thioxo-thiazolidin-4-ones 6a–k in good yields. All structures have been formulated on the basis of their spectral (IR, NMR, MS) data and elemental analyses. The Michael condensation in the series of 5-aryl-3-arylidene-3H-pyrrol-2-ones and 5-aryl-3-arylidene-3H-furan-2-ones, containing
an activated C=C bond, with cyclohexanone was investigated. It was shown that the condensation products were 1,5-dicarbonyl
compounds containing a heterocyclic fragment. The enolization of one of the oxo groups, leading to the formation of hydroxypyrrole
or hydroxyfuran structures, was demonstrated by the spectral data.

Substituted 5-aryl-3-ethylidene-3H-pyrrol-2-ones were synthesized by the reaction of the corresponding 4-aryl-4-oxobutanoic acids with ketones in the presence
of aminating agents. The conditions of this reaction were developed with the use of both the conventional condensation technique
and microwave activation. The structures of the reaction products were con-firmed by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy,
and 1H NMR spectroscopy.

or 2-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxoethylidene]-5-phenylfuran-3(2H)-one with benzoic or p-nitrobenzoic isopropylidenehydrazides.
Equilibrium C(5)H and C(5)H2 tautomeric forms were detected in solutions of the 4-chlorophenyl derivatives in DMSO-d6.

An efficient, inexpensive, and heterogeneous catalyst, [Al(H2PO4)3], was applied in a three-component, one-pot cyclocondensation reaction of isatoic anhydride with primary amines (or ammonium salts) and aldehydes to afford the corresponding quinazolinone derivatives in excellent yields. Reactions occurred under thermal solvent-free conditions. It was found that this solid acidic catalyst could be easily recovered and reused for at least three cycles without any loss of activity. 相似文献

Summary The reaction of 3-aroyl-6-aryl-4-hydroxy-2H-pyran-2-ones (Ar=p-tolyl, 1,1-biphenyl-4-yl or thienyl) with aniline and substitutedo-phenylenediamine (R=H, CH3 or Cl) yields a series of new Schiff bases2a–f in 51–72% yield. Bromination of1a gave the 5-bromo derivative1c, while the compounds1a,1b,2b,2e, and2f were converted into 2,6-diaryl-4H-pyran-4-ones3a–c. All products have been fully characterized.

An efficient and novel synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones via one-pot, three-component reaction of isatoic anhydride, primary amines and aromatic aldehydes catalyzed by Bi(NO3)3·5H2O under solvent-free conditions is described. Oxidation of these 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones to their quinazolin-4(3H)-ones was also successfully performed in the presence of Bi(NO3)3·5H2O. This new method has the advantages of convenient manipulation, short reaction times, excellent yields, very easy work-up, and the use of commercially available, low cost and relatively non-toxic catalyst. The role of Bi(NO3)3·5H2O was also investigated in these transformations. 相似文献

3-(N",N",S-trialkylisothioureido)quinazolin-4(3H)-ones obtained by the reactions of 3-(N",N"-dialkylthioureido)quinazolin-4(3H)-ones with alkyl halides undergo unusual recyclization into 5-(2-aminophenyl)-2-dialkylamino-1,3,4-oxadiazoles under the action of aqueous solutions of alkali, hydrazine, and primary aliphatic amines.
