Methylated DNA bases are natural modifications which play an important role in protein-DNA interactions. Recent experimental and theoretical results have shown an influence of the base modification on the conformational behavior of the DNA backbone. MD simulations of four different B-DNA dodecamers (d(GC)(6), d(AT)(6), d(G(5mCG)(5)C), and d(A(T6mA)(5)T)) have been performed with the aim to examine the influence of methyl groups on the B-DNA backbone behavior. An additional control simulation of d(AU)(6) has also been performed to examine the further influence of the C5-methyl group in thymine. Methyl groups in the major groove (as in C5-methylcytosine, thymine, or N6-methyladenine) decrease the BII substate population of RpY steps. Due to methylation a clearer distinction of the BI substate stability between YpR and RpY (CpG/GpC or TpA/ApT) steps arises. A positive correlation between the BII substate population and base stacking distances is seen only for poly(GC). A methyl group added into the major groove increases mean water residence times around the purine N7 atom, which may stabilize the BI substate by improving the hydration network between the DNA backbone and the major groove. The N6-methyl group also forms a water molecule bridge between the N6 and O4 atoms, and thus further stabilizes the BI substate.  相似文献

The reaction of cyclohexylphosphonic acid (C(6)H(11)PO(3)H(2)), anhydrous CuCl(2) and 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) in the presence of triethylamine followed by a metathesis reaction with KNO(3) afforded [Cu(4)(mu-Cl)(2)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(bpy)(4)](NO(3))(2) (1). In an analogous reaction involving Cu(OAc)(2).H(2)O, the complex [Cu(4)(mu-CH(3)COO)(2)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(2,2'-bpy)(4)](CH(3)COO)(2) (2) has been isolated. The three-component reaction involving Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, cyclohexylphosphonic acid and 2,2'-bipyridine in the presence of triethylamine afforded the tetranuclear assembly [Cu(4)(mu-OH)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(2,2'-bpy)(4) (H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(3) (3). Replacing 2,2'-bipyridine with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in the above reaction resulted in [Cu(4)(mu-OH)(mu(3)-C(6)H(11)PO(3))(2)(phen)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(3) (4). In all the copper(II) phosphonates (1-4) the two phosphonate ions bridge the four copper(II) ions in a capping coordination action. Each phosphonate ion bridges four copper(II) ions in a mu(4), eta(3) coordination mode or 4.211 of the Harris notation. Variable-temperature magnetic studies on reveal that all four complexes exhibit moderately strong intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling. The DNA cleavage activity of complexes 1-4 is also described. Compounds 1 and 3 were able to completely convert the supercoiled pBR322 DNA form I to nick form II without any co-oxidant. In contrast, 50% conversion occurred with and 40% with 4. In the presence of magnesium monoperoxyphthalate all four compounds achieved rapid conversion of form I to form II.  相似文献

Reported here is a comparison of the kinetics of the stepwise formation of 1,4- and 1,6-GG interstrand cross-links by the trinuclear platinum anticancer compound (15)N-[[trans-PtCl(NH(3))(2)](2)[mu-trans-Pt(NH(3))(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(6)NH(2))(2)]](4+), (1,0,1/t,t,t (1) or BBR3464). The reactions of (15)N-1 with the self-complementary 12-mer duplexes 5'-[d(ATATGTACATAT)(2)] (I) and 5'-[d(TATGTATACATA)(2)] (II) have been studied at 298 K, pH 5.3 by [(1)H,(15)N] HSQC 2D NMR spectroscopy. The kinetic profiles for the two reactions are similar. For both sequences initial electrostatic interactions with the DNA are observed for 1 and the monoaqua monochloro species (2) and changes in the chemical shifts of certain DNA (1)H resonances are consistent with binding of the central charged [PtN(4)] linker unit in the minor groove. The pseudo first-order rate constants for the aquation of 1 to 2 in the presence of duplex I (3.94 +/- 0.03 x 10(-5) s(-1)), or II(4.17 +/- 0.03 x 10(-5) s(-1)) are ca. 40% of the value obtained for aquation of 1 under similar conditions in the absence of DNA. Monofunctional binding to the guanine N7 of the duplex occurs with rate constants of 0.25 +/- 0.02 M(-1) s(-1) (I) and 0.34 +/- 0.02 M(-1) s(-1) (II), respectively. Closure to form the 1,4- or 1,6-interstrand cross-links (5) was treated as direct from 3 with similar rate constants of 4.21 +/- 0.06 x 10(-5) s(-1) (I) and 4.32 +/- 0.04 x 10(-5) s(-1) (II), respectively. Whereas there is only one predominant conformer of the 1,6 cross-link, evidence from both the (1)H and [(1)H,(15)N] NMR spectra show formation of two distinct conformers of the 1,4 cross-link, which are not interconvertible. Closure to give the major conformer occurs 2.5-fold faster than for the minor conformer. The differences are attributed to the initial preassociation of the central linker of 1 in the minor groove and subsequently during formation of both the monofunctional and bifunctional adducts. For duplex I, molecular models indicate two distinct pathways for the terminal [PtN(3)Cl] groups to approach and bind the guanine N7 in the major groove with the central linker anchored in the minor groove. To achieve platination of the guanine residues in duplex II the central linker remains in the minor groove but 1 must diffuse off the DNA for covalent binding to occur. Clear evidence for movement of the linker group is seen at the monofunctional binding step from changes of chemical shifts of certain CH(2) linker protons as well as the Pt-NH(3) and Pt-NH(2) groups. Consideration of the (1)H and (15)N shifts of peaks in the Pt-NH(2) region show that for both the 1,4 and 1,6 interstrand cross-links there is a gradual and irreversible transformation from an initially formed conformer(s) to product conformer(s) in which the amine protons of the two bound [PtN(3)] groups exist in a number of different environments. The behavior is similar to that observed for the 1,4-interstrand cross-link of the dinuclear 1,1/t,t compound. The potential significance of preassociation in determining kinetics of formation and structure of the adducts is discussed. The conformational flexibility of the cross-links is discussed in relation to their biological processing, especially protein recognition and repair, which are critical determinants of the cytotoxicity of these unique DNA-binding agents.  相似文献

Hydration properties of aqueous Pb(II) ion   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Wander MC  Clark AE 《Inorganic chemistry》2008,47(18):8233-8241
Using density functional theory and polarized continuum models, we have determined the most probable coordination number and structure of the first hydration shell of aqueous Pb(II). The geometries and hydration free energies of Pb(H2O)(1-9)(2+) were examined and benchmarked against experimental values. The free energies of hydration of Pb(H2O)(6-8)(2+) were found to match the experimental value within 10 kcal/mol. Moreover, based upon our thermochemical results for single water addition, primary hydration numbers of 6, 7, and 8 are all thermally accessible at STP. Use of a small-core 60 electron effective core potential (ECP) with the aug-cc-pvdz-PP basis on Pb resulted in structures that are significantly less hemidirected than predicted when using the large-core 78 electron ECP and the lanl2DZ basis on the metal. Our results imply that the hemi- to holo-directed transition in Pb(II)-water complexes is driven by coordination number and not hybridization of the 6s lone-pair orbital or enhanced covalent bonding in the Pb-OH2 bond. In addition to basis set effects, the influence of different solvation models on hydration reactions has further been examined so as to determine the relative accuracy of the calculated hydration thermochemistry.  相似文献

Two combined quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) molecular dynamics simulations, namely HF/MM and B3LYP/MM, have been performed to investigate the local hydration structure and dynamics of carbonate (CO(3)(2-)) in dilute aqueous solution. With respect to the QM/MM scheme, the QM region, which contains the CO(3)(2-) and its surrounding water molecules, was treated at HF and B3LYP levels of accuracy, respectively, using the DZV+ basis set, while the rest of the system is described by classical MM potentials. For both the HF/MM and B3LYP/MM simulations, it is observed that the hydrogen bonds between CO(3)(2-) oxygens and their nearest-neighbor waters are relatively strong, i.e., compared to water-water hydrogen bonds in the bulk, and that the first shell of each CO(3)(2-) oxygen atom somewhat overlaps with the others, which allows migration of water molecules among the coordinating sites to exist. In addition, it is observed that first-shell waters are either "loosely" or "tightly" bound to the respective CO(3)(2-) oxygen atoms, leading to large fluctuations in the number of first-shell waters, ranging from 1 to 6 (HF/MM) and 2 to 7 (B3LYP/MM), with the prevalent value of 3. Upon comparing the HF and B3LYP methods in describing this hydrated ion, the latter is found to overestimate the hydrogen-bond strength in the CO(3)(2-)-water complexes, resulting in a slightly more compact hydration structure at each of the CO(3)(2-) oxygens.  相似文献

A reaction of ZnO, HCl, H(3)PO(4), and 2-pyridylpiperazine in THF/H(2)O mixture at 75 degrees C for 72 h produces a new zinc phosphate, [(C(5)NH(5))(C(4)N(2)H(10))][Zn(H(2)PO(4))(2)(HPO(4))], I. Zinc phosphate I consists of single four-ring (S4R) units with terminal phosphoryl groups hanging from the Zn center. On reaction with zinc acetate dihydrate in the presence of water at 100 degrees C, I gave another new zinc phosphate, [(C(5)NH(5))(C(4)N(2)H(10))][Zn(2)(H(2)PO(4))(HPO(4))(PO(4))] x 2H(2)O, II. II has a layer structure with apertures formed by 4- and 8-T atoms (T = Zn, P). An examination of the two structures reveals that I and II are related, II being formed by the direct addition of Zn(2+) ions to I. Room-temperature (31)P MAS NMR studies show the presence of different phosphorus species in both compounds. An in-situ (31)P MAS NMR investigation on the formation of II from I in the presence of Zn(2+) ions and water reveals the transformation to be facile. What is noteworthy in this study is that the structural integrity of the S4Rs has been maintained during the formation of II. Donor-acceptor hydrogen bond interactions and pi-pi interactions involving the pyridyl groups also appear to play subtle roles in both phosphates. This study, the first attempt of its kind, combines the principles of supramolecular organic chemistry with inorganic building units and contributes to our understanding of the formation of framework solids.  相似文献

We have investigated the recognition of nucleic acid derivatives by organometallic ruthenium(II) arene anticancer complexes of the type [(eta(6)-arene)Ru(II)(en)X] where en = ethylenediamine, arene = biphenyl (Bip), tetrahydroanthracene (THA), dihydroanthracene (DHA), p-cymene (Cym) or benzene (Ben), X = Cl(-) or H(2)O using (1)H, (31)P and (15)N ((15)N-en) NMR spectroscopy. For mononucleosides, [(eta(6)-Bip)Ru(en)](2+) binds only to N7 of guanosine, to N7 and N1 of inosine, and to N3 of thymidine. Binding to N3 of cytidine was weak, and almost no binding to adenosine was observed. The reactivity of the various binding sites of nucleobases toward Ru at neutral pH decreased in the order G(N7) > I(N7) > I(N1), T(N3) > C(N3) > A(N7), A(N1). Therefore, pseudo-octahedral diamino Ru(II) arene complexes are much more highly discriminatory between G and A bases than square-planar Pt(II) complexes. Such site-selectivity appears to be controlled by the en NH(2) groups, which H-bond with exocyclic oxygens but are nonbonding and repulsive toward exocyclic amino groups of the nucleobases. For reactions with mononucleotides, the same pattern of site selectivity was observed, but, in addition, significant amounts of the 5'-phosphate-bound species (40-60%) were present at equilibrium for 5'-TMP, 5'-CMP and 5'-AMP. In contrast, no binding to the phosphodiester groups of 3', 5'-cyclic-GMP (cGMP) or cAMP was detected. Reactions with nucleotides proceeded via aquation of [(eta(6)-arene)Ru(en)Cl](+), followed by rapid binding to the 5'-phosphate, and then rearrangement to give N7, N1, or N3-bound products. Small amounts of the dinuclear species, e.g., Ru-O(PO(3))GMPN7-Ru, Ru-O(PO(3))IMPN1-Ru, Ru-O(PO(3))TMPN3-Ru, Ru-N7IMPN1-Ru, and Ru-N7InoN1-Ru were also detected. In competitive binding experiments for [(eta(6)-Bip)Ru(en)Cl](+) with 5'-GMP versus 5'-AMP or 5'-CMP or 5'-TMP, the only final adduct was [(eta(6)-Bip)Ru(en)(N7-GMP)]. Ru-H(2)O species were more reactive than Ru-OH species. The presence of Cl(-) or phosphate in neutral solution significantly decreased the rates of Ru-N7 binding through competitive coordination to Ru. In kinetic studies (pH 7.0, 298 K, 100 mM NaClO(4)), the rates of reaction of cGMP with [(eta(6)-arene)Ru(II)(en)X](n+) (X = Cl(-) or H(2)O) decreased in the order: THA > Bip > DHA > Cym > Ben, suggesting that N7-binding is promoted by favorable arene-purine hydrophobic interactions in the associative transition state. These findings have revealed that the diamine NH(2) groups, the hydrophobic arene, and the chloride leaving group have important roles in the novel mechanism of recognition of nucleic acids by Ru arene complexes, and will aid the design of more effective anticancer complexes, as well as new site-specific DNA reagents.  相似文献

We have studied using molecular dynamics simulations the interaction of the dodecaborate anion, B(12)H(12)(2-), and its amino, trimethyl, and triethyl derivatives with water molecules. We found peculiar organization of the water molecules in the first solvation shell with the formation of a dihydrogen bond between the hydrogen atoms of the anions and the hydrogen atoms of the water molecules. The simulations also show that the organization of the hydration shell is strongly influenced by the substituents in the anions. These differences are likely to play an important role in understanding the interaction of the anions with biological systems like membranes and proteins in aqueous environments.  相似文献

A variety of para-substituted NCN-pincer palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes [MX(NCN-Z)] (M=Pd(II), Pt(II); X=Cl, Br, I; NCN-Z=[2,6-(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)C(6)H(2)-4-Z](-); Z=NO(2), COOH, SO(3)H, PO(OEt)(2), PO(OH)(OEt), PO(OH)(2), CH(2)OH, SMe, NH(2)) were synthesised by routes involving substitution reactions, either prior to or, notably, after metalation of the ligand. The solubility of the pincer complexes is dominated by the nature of the para substituent Z, which renders several complexes water-soluble. The influence of the para substituent on the electronic properties of the metal centre was studied by (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy and DFT calculations. Both the (195)Pt chemical shift and the calculated natural population charge on platinum correlate linearly with the sigma(p) Hammett substituent constants, and thus the electronic properties of predesigned pincer complexes can be predicted. The sigma(p) value for the para-PtI group itself was determined to be -1.18 in methanol and -0.72 in water/methanol (1/1). Complexes substituted with protic functional groups (CH(2)OH, COOH) exist as dimers in the solid state due to intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions.  相似文献

Pair interaction potentials (IPs) were defined to describe the La(3+)-OH(2) interaction for simulating the La(3+) hydration in aqueous solution. La(3+)-OH(2) IPs are taken from the literature or parametrized essentially to reproduce ab initio calculations at the second-order Moller-Plesset level of theory on La(H(2)O)(8) (3+). The IPs are compared and used with molecular dynamics (MD) including explicit polarization, periodic boundary conditions of La(H(2)O)(216) (3+) boxes, and TIP3P water model modified to include explicit polarization. As expected, explicit polarization is crucial for obtaining both correct La-O distances (r(La-O)) and La(3+) coordination number (CN). Including polarization also modifies hydration structure up to the second hydration shell and decreases the number of water exchanges between the La(3+) first and second hydration shells. r(La-O) ((1))=2.52 A and CN((1))=9.02 are obtained here for our best potential. These values are in good agreement with experimental data. The tested La-O IPs appear to essentially account for the La-O short distance repulsion. As a consequence, we propose that most of the multibody effects are correctly described by the explicit polarization contributions even in the first La(3+) hydration shell. The MD simulation results are slightly improved by adding a-typically negative 1r(6)-slightly attractive contribution to the-typically exponential-repulsive term of the La-O IP. Mean residence times are obtained from MD simulations for a water molecule in the first (1082 ps) and second (7.6 ps) hydration shells of La(3+). The corresponding water exchange is a concerted mechanism: a water molecule leaving La(H(2)O)(9) (3+) in the opposite direction to the incoming water molecule. La(H(2)O)(9) (3+) has a slightly distorded "6+3" tricapped trigonal prism D(3h) structure, and the weakest bonding is in the medium triangle, where water exchanges take place.  相似文献

Ab initio molecular dynamics simulations at 300 K, based on density functional theory, are performed to study the hydration shell geometries, solvent dipole, and first hydrolysis reaction of the uranium(IV) (U(4+)) and uranyl(V) (UO(2)(+)) ions in aqueous solution. The solvent dipole and first hydrolysis reaction of aqueous uranyl(VI) (UO(2)(2+)) are also probed. The first shell of U(4+) is coordinated by 8-9 water ligands, with an average U-O distance of 2.42 ?. The average first shell coordination number and distance are in agreement with experimental estimates of 8-11 and 2.40-2.44 ?, respectively. The simulated EXAFS of U(4+) matches well with recent experimental data. The first shell of UO(2)(+) is coordinated by five water ligands in the equatorial plane, with the average U═O(ax) and U-O distances being 1.85 ? and 2.54 ?, respectively. Overall, the hydration shell structure of UO(2)(+) closely matches that of UO(2)(2+), except for small expansions in the average U═O(ax) and U-O distances. Each ion strongly polarizes their respective first-shell water ligands. The computed acidity constants (pK(a)) of U(4+) and UO(2)(2+) are 0.93 and 4.95, in good agreement with the experimental values of 0.54 and 5.24, respectively. The predicted pK(a) value of UO(2)(+) is 8.5.  相似文献

Structural and dynamical properties of the Cr(III) ion in aqueous solution have been investigated using a combined ab initio quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical (QM/MM) molecular dynamics simulation. The hydration structure of Cr(III) was determined in terms of radial distribution functions, coordination numbers, and angular distributions. The QM/MM simulation gives coordination numbers of 6 and 15.4 for the first and second hydration shell, respectively. The first hydration shell is kinetically very inert but by no means rigid and variations of the first hydration shell geometry lead to distinct splitting in the vibrational spectra of Cr(H(2)O)(6) (3+). A mean residence time of 22 ps was obtained for water ligands residing in the second hydration shell, which is remarkably shorter than the experimentally estimated value. The hydration energy of -1108 +/- 7 kcal/mol, obtained from the QM/MM simulation, corresponds well to the experimental hydration enthalpy value.  相似文献

Structural and dynamical properties of the TiO(2+) ion in aqueous solution have been investigated by using the new ab initio quantum mechanical charge field (QMCF) molecular dynamics (MD) formalism, which does not require any other potential functions except those for solvent-solvent interactions. Both first and second hydration shell have been treated at Hartree-Fock (HF) quantum mechanical level. A Ti-O bond distance of 1.5 A was observed for the [Ti=O](2+) ion. The first hydration shell of the ion shows a varying coordination number ranging from 5 to 7, five being the dominant one and representing one axial and four equatorial water molecules directly coordinated to Ti, which are located at 2.3 A and 2.1 A, respectively. The flexibility in the coordination number reflects the fast exchange processes, which occur only at the oxo atom, where water ligands are weakly bound through hydrogen bonds. Considering the first shell hydration, the composition of the TiO(2+) hydrate can be characterized as [(H(2)O)(0.7)(H(2)O)(4) (eq)(H(2)O)(ax)](2+). The second shell consists in average of 12 water molecules located at a mean distance of 4.4 A. Several other structural parameters such as radial and angular distribution functions and coordination number distributions were analyzed to fully characterize the hydration structure of the TiO(2+) ion in aqueous solution. For the dynamics of the TiO(2+) ion, different sets of dynamical parameters such as Ti=O, Ti-O(eq), and Ti-O(ax) stretching frequencies and ligands' mean residence times were evaluated. During the simulation time of 15 ps, 3 water exchange processes in the first shell were observed at the oxo atom, corresponding to a mean residence time of 3.6 ps. The ligands' mean residence time for the second shell was determined as 3.5 ps.  相似文献

Common synthetic dyes, e.g., Weak Acid Pink Red B (APRB, C.I. 18073), Mordant Blue 9 (MB, C.I.14855) and Acid Brilliant Blue 6B (ABB6B, C.I. 42660), can be removed from water by in situ hybridization with CaCO(3), BaSO(4) and Ca(3)(PO(4))(2) and the resulting hybrids thus prepared used as plastic colorants. All the hybrids can be processed into polypropylene (PP) at 200 °C with good color intensity, color brightness and homogeneous dispersion. The BaSO(4)-MB hybrid exhibits better migration resistance to acid and alkali, and stronger covering power than the BaSO(4)-MB mixture. The thermal stability and UV resistance of the Ca(3)(PO(4))(2)-ABB6B hybrid are better than those of the Ca(3)(PO(4))(2)-ABB6B mixture. The crystallinity of PP is enhanced by incorporation of these hybrids and the use of these hybrids as colorants in PP instead of the dyes alone is determined to be feasible.  相似文献

Raman spectroscopy of bromine in the liquid phase and in water illustrates uncommon principles and yields insights regarding hydration. In liquid Br(2), resonant excitation over the B((3)Π(0u)(+)) ← X((1)Σ(g)(+)) valence transition at 532 nm produces a weak resonant Raman (RR) progression accompanied by a five-fold stronger non-resonant (NR) scattering. The latter is assigned to pre-resonance with the C-state, which in turn must be strongly mixed with inter-molecular charge transfer states. Despite the electronic resonance, RR of Br(2) in water is quenched. At 532 nm, the homogeneously broadened fundamental is observed, as in the NR case at 785 nm. The implications of the quenching of RR scattering are analyzed in a simple, semi-quantitative model, to conclude that the inertial evolution of the Raman packet in aqueous Br(2) occurs along multiple equivalent water-Br(2) coordinates. In distinct contrast with hydrophilic hydration in small clusters and hydrophobic hydration in clathrates, it is concluded that the hydration shell of bromine in water consists of dynamically equivalent fluxional water molecules. At 405 nm, the RR progression of Br(3)(-) is observed, accompanied by difference transitions between the breathing of the hydration shell and the symmetric stretch of the ion. The RR scattering process in this case can be regarded as the coherent photo-induced electron transfer to the solvent and its radiative back-transfer.  相似文献

Chiral recognition of racemic bicyclo[3.3.0] octane-2,6-diol(B) was achieved in the gas phase using s-Naproxen(A) as reference, using the kinetics of competitive unimolecule dissociation of tetrameric zinc(II)-bound complexes by electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer(ESI-FTMS). As undergoing a mild competitive collision-induced dissociation(CID) experiment with a constant pressure argon gas introduced by leak valve, the tetrameric cluster ion [A(2)B(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+) forms only two trimeric ions and R(chiral) is subsequently obtained in the kinetic method. Further studies obtained the difference of Gibbs free energy of [ABZ(n)(II)-H](+)(Delta Delta G(ABZn(II)-H](+))) by dissociating [A(2)BZ(n)(II)-H](+), resulting two fragment ions [ABZ(n)(II)-H](+) and [A(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+), which can be established to a linear relationship between Delta Delta G([ABZn(II)-H](+)) and R(chiral)' basing on the kinetic method. The value of R(chiral)' suggested that Delta Delta G([ABZn(II)-H](+)) could be regarded as zero. Meanwhile, dissociation of [AB(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+) generated only one daughter ion [ABZ(n)(II)-H](+) in a stable pressure. Thus, a linear relationship was established between the difference of Gibbs free energy of [AB(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+)(Delta Delta G([AB(2)Zn(II)-H](+))) and R(chiral)" if the Delta Delta G([ABZn(II)-H](+)) can be negligible. Because there is also a linear relationship of R(chiral) in the tetrameric ion [A(2)B(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+) and the Gibbs energy difference of trimeric cluster ion [A(2)BZ(n)(+)(II)-H](Delta Delta G([A(2)BZn(II)-H](+))) plus that of [AB(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+), Delta Delta G([A(2)BZ(n)(II)-H]+]) is easy to be calculated in the dissociation process of tetrameric ion. Stable of R(chiral), R(chiral)' and R(chiral)" under different pressures show T(eff) does not affect the chiral recognition of cluster ions in the condition selected. If an only-one-daughter-ion fragment process of [A(2)BZ(n)(II)-H](+) was existed, R(chiral)' relating to this dissociation would be calculated just like R(chiral)" of [AB(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+) does. Conclusion was obtained that [A(2)BZ(n)(II)-H](+) makes more contribution to chiral recognition of tetrameric ion measured by kinetic method than [AB(2)Z(n)(II)-H](+) does as R(chiral)' and R(chiral)" were applied as index to evaluate the Gibbs free energy difference of these two trimeric cluster ions. Further discussion shows that steric interactions and pi-pi stacking interactions are the major factors responsible for the observed efficient chiral recognition in this system.  相似文献

The potassium salts of the new S(2)N-heteroscorpionate ligand hydrobis(methimazolyl)(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate [HB(mt)(2)(pz(3,5-Me))](-) and its known analogue hydrobis(methimazolyl)(pyrazolyl)borate [HB(mt)(2)(pz)](-) (prepared from KTp' or KTp and methimazole, Hmt), and the adduct KTp·Hmt have polymeric structures in the solid state (the first a ladder and the other two chains). The iridaboratranes [IrHLL'{B(mt)(2)X}] (X = pz(3,5-Me) or pz), prepared from the heteroscorpionate anion and [{Ir(cod)(μ-Cl)}(2)] (LL' = cod), subsequent carbonylation [LL' = (CO)(2)] and then reaction with phosphine [LL' = (CO)(PR(3)), R = Ph or Cy], have a pendant pyrazolyl ring and a bicyclo-[3.3.0] cage formed by an S(2)-bound B(mt)(2) fragment. The binuclear species [(cod)HIr{μ-B(mt)(3)}IrCl(cod)], the only isolated product of the reaction of KTm with [{Ir(cod)(μ-Cl)}(2)], also has an S(2)-bound iridaboratrane unit but with the third mt ring linked to square planar iridium(I).  相似文献

Two new barium borogermanates with two types of novel structures, namely, Ba(3)[Ge(2)B(7)O(16)(OH)(2)](OH)(H(2)O) and Ba(3)Ge(2)B(6)O(16), have been synthesized by hydrothermal or high-temperature solid-state reactions. They represent the first examples of alkaline-earth borogermanates. Ba(3)[Ge(2)B(7)O(16)(OH)(2)](OH)(H(2)O) crystallized in a polar space group Cc. Its structure features a novel three-dimensional anionic framework composed of [B(7)O(16)(OH)(2)](13-) polyanions that are bridged by Ge atoms with one-dimensional (1D) 10-membered-ring (MR) tunnels along the b axis. The Ba(II) cations, hydroxide ions, and water molecules are located at the above tunnels. Ba(3)Ge(2)B(6)O(16) crystallizes in centrosymmetric space group P1. Its structure exhibits a thick layer composed of circular B(6)O(16) units connected by GeO(4) tetrahedra via corner sharing, forming 1D 4- and 6-MR tunnels along the c axis. Ba1 ions reside in the tunnels of the 6-MRs, whereas Ba2 ions are located at the interlayer space. Both compounds feature new types of topological structures. Second-harmonic-generation (SHG) measurements indicate that Ba(3)[Ge(2)B(7)O(16)(OH)(2)](OH)(H(2)O) displays a weak SHG response of about 0.3 times that of KH(2)PO(4). Optical, thermal stability, and ferroelectric properties as well as theoretical calculations have also been performed.  相似文献

First principles molecular dynamics simulations of the hydration shells surrounding UO(2)(2+) ions are reported for temperatures near 300 K. Most of the simulations were done with 64 solvating water molecules (22 ps). Simulations with 122 water molecules (9 ps) were also carried out. The hydration structure predicted from the simulations was found to agree with very well-known results from x-ray data. The average U=O bond length was found to be 1.77 A. The first hydration shell contained five trigonally coordinated water molecules that were equatorially oriented about the O-U-O axis with the hydrogen atoms oriented away from the uranium atom. The five waters in the first shell were located at an average distance of 2.44 A (2.46 A, 122 water simulation). The second hydration shell was composed of distinct equatorial and apical regions resulting in a peak in the U-O radial distribution function at 4.59 A. The equatorial second shell contained ten water molecules hydrogen bonded to the five first shell molecules. Above and below the UO(2)(2+) ion, the water molecules were found to be significantly less structured. In these apical regions, water molecules were found to sporadically hydrogen bond to the oxygen atoms of the UO(2)(2+), oriented in such a way as to have their protons pointed toward the cation. While the number of apical waters varied greatly, an average of five to six waters was found in this region. Many water transfers into and out of the equatorial and apical second solvation shells were observed to occur on a picosecond time scale via dissociative mechanisms. Beyond these shells, the bonding pattern substantially returned to the tetrahedral structure of bulk water.  相似文献
