1 INTRODUCTION We once reported a CS bond cleavage reaction of (h5-C5Me5)Mo(StBu)3, which led to a Mo(IV) thio/thiolate complex (h5-C5Me5)MoS2(StBu)[1]. This reaction was facilitated by oxidants such as S8, gray selenium, and FeCl3[2]. The reaction with FeCl3 gave rise to a cubane cluster [(h5-C5Me5)2Mo2Fe2S4Cl2], which served as an excellent building block to construct various Mo/Fe/S clusters[2]. Abstract

Reaction of 2-amino-5-halopyridine molecules with Cu(II) halides in the solid state via mechanochemical techniques produced four coordination complexes, (5BAP)2CuBr2 (2a), (5BAP)2CuCl2 (3), (5CAP)2CuCl2 (4), (5CAP)2CuBr2 (5) [5BAP?=?2-amino-5-bromopyridine; 5CAP?=?2-amino-5-chloropyridine]. In all compounds, the 5BAP or 5CAP ligands are coordinated to the Cu(II) ion through the pyridine N atom along with two halide ions. Compounds 2 and 3 crystallized in the P-1 and P21/c space groups, respectively. Temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility data for 2 were fit to the antiferromagnetic rectangle model (J?=?–4.5(2) K; α?=?0.89(17)), while the data for 3 were fit to the uniform chain model (J?=?–4.20(6) K), indicating a significant difference in the interchain interactions. Both 4 and 5 crystallize with the 5CAP ligands in the syn-conformation in the space groups I2/a and P21/n, respectively. Compound 4 formed the expected dimeric structure via bridging chloride ions and the magnetic data were successfully fit to the dimer model (J?=?–2.57(5) K), while 5 unexpectedly formed a structural chain via Br…Br contacts which exhibits very weak antiferromagnetic interactions. An intermediate structure, (5BAP)(H2O)CuBr2 (1), was prepared and characterized via mechanochemical methods along with an isomer of (5BAP)2CuBr2 (2b).  相似文献

The complexes [Ph3PMe] 2 + [BiI5]2? (I) and [Ph3PMe] 2 + [BiI5 · C 5H5N]2? · C 5H5N (II) were synthesized by the reaction of bismuth triiodide with triphenylmethylphosphonium iodide, and their structures were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The P atom in cation I has slightly distorted tetragonal coordination polyhedron (the CPC angles 109.42(4)° and 109.52(4)°, the bond lengths P-CPh 1.779(2), P-CMe 1.793(1) Å. The Bi atom in the anion of complex I has an ideal trigonal-bipyramidal coordination polyhedron (Bi-Ieq 3.0031(4), Bi-Ieq 3.0485(5) Å). The crystal of complex II consists of the anions [BiI5 · C 5H5N]2?, solvated pyridine molecules, and two types of crystallographically independent tetrahedral triphenylmethylphosphonium cations (the angles CPC 106.9(1)°–111.7(1)°, the distances P-CPh 1.785(3)–1.792(3), P-CMe 1.793(3), 1.786(3) Å). The Bi atoms in the anion of complex II have a distorted octahedral coordination polyhedron (Bi-I 3.0878(4)–3.1240(3), Bi-N(1) 2.628(3) Å).  相似文献

The crystal structure of [Co(NH3)5NO2](NO3)2·0.25H2O has been determined. Co1N8O8.25H15.5, a=7.582(3), c=10.331(3) Å, V=593.9(5) Å3, dcalc=1.782 g/cm3 for Z=2, space group I 4mm (C 4v 9 , No. 107). The structure is of the island type. Complex (distorted octahedral) cations are bonded to the NO 3 ? anions by electrostatic forces. Irradiation at λ = 507 and 391 nm of [Mo25-C5H5)2(CO)6] in a degassed tetrahydrofuran (THF) or THF-MeOH solution containing nitrite gives [Mo(η5-C5H5)2NO] and several oxo complexes including [{Mo(η5-C5H5)(O)2}2O] in good yields. The quantum yields for the disappearance of [Mo25-C5H5)2(CO)6] in the reaction with NO2 depend on the nitrite concentration, thus suggesting participation of the metal-radical intermediate in the reduction of nitrite. Reactions of [Mo25-C5H5)2(CO)4] with nitrite or nitrate in the dark give the same nitrosyl and oxo complexes as above. An oxygen atom in nitrite or nitrate is mainly transferred onto the molybdenum atom both in the photochemical and the dark reactions.  相似文献

The highly insoluble organic-inorganic hybrid ionic compounds N,N??-methylenedipyridinium tetrachloroplatinate(II) [(C5H5N)2CH2] · [PtCl4] and N,N??-methylenedipyridinium hexachloroplatinate(IV) [(C5H5N)2CH2] · [PtCl6] were obtained by the treatment of N,N??-methylenedipyridinium dichloride monohydrate [(C5H5N)2CH2]Cl2 · H2O with K2[PtCl4] or (NH4)2[PtCl6], respectively, in an aqueous solution. Both complexes were isolated, purified, characterised by elemental analysis, and their molecular structures were confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure of both compounds consists of separated discrete dications [(C5H5N)2CH2]2+ and anions [PtCl n ]2? (n = 4 or 6). As anticipated, the dications formed a butterfly shape consisting of two pyridine rings bound to the methylene group via their N atoms, while the Pt centre had a square planar geometry in [(C5H5N)2CH2] · [PtCl4] and an octahedral coordination in [(C5H5N)2CH2] · [PtCl6]. Interestingly, both crystal structures are stabilised by intermolecular C-H??Cl non-standard hydrogen bonds, ??-?? ring interactions between two pyridine rings of adjacent dications, and also by Cl-?? interactions.  相似文献

Reduction of 2,5-di-tert-butylcyclopentadienone with two equivalents of thulium diiodide in tetrahydrofuran afforded the binuclear thulium(iii) complex with the cyclopentadienyl oxide ligand, viz., TmI2(THF)2[5-But 2C5H2O]TmI2(THF)3 (1). Shielding of the carbonyl carbon atom with two tert-butyl substituents prevents pinacolization of the ketyl radical anions that formed upon one-electron reduction of cyclopentadienone. The reaction of thulium diiodide with an excess of pyridine in tetrahydrofuran gave a product of reductive coupling of two pyridine radical anions, viz., [TmI2(C5H5N)4]2(2-N2C10H10) (2). The hydrothermal reaction of MoO3, V, Na2WO4· 2H2O, [N(CH2CH2)3N](1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2] octane), and H2O at 160°C for 90h gave dark-brown crystals of [HN(CH2CH2)3N]2[HMoVMoVI 5O19]·[N(CH2CH2)3N], (1), in 40% yield. Complex (1) is the first one-electron reduced mixed-valence hexamolybdate to be crystallized and structurally characterized. The crystal structure of (1) consists of discrete [HMoVMoVI 5O19]2– anions, [HN-(CH2CH2)3N]+ cations, and neutral [N(CH2CH2)3N] molecules of crystallization.  相似文献

The title complex [AgNO3(C17H15NO2)2]2 was synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound crystallizes in triclinic, space group Pī with a = 11.226(7), b = 11.906(7), c = 12.144(7) (A。), α = 99.796(10), β = 91.631(10), γ = 101.225(10)°, V = 1565.6(16)(A。)3, Z = 1, Mr = 1400.96, Dc = 1.486 g/cm3, F(000) = 716 and μ(Mo-Kα) = 0.697 mm-1. The final R and wR are 0.0401 and 0.0995, respectively for 5492 independent observable reflections with I > 2σ(I). The results show that the central Ag atom is four-coordinated with two O atoms from two distinct NO3- anions and two N atoms from two trans-5-methyl-2-[2-(4-methoxylphenyl)ethenyl]- benzoxazole ligands, and the two Ag atoms bridged with two O atoms give an interesting Ag-O-Ag-O parallelogram structure. The coordination sphere of Ag atom exhibits a heavily distorted tetrahedral geometry and the coordination angles lie in the range of 66.73(12)~129.59(10)°. The intra- molecular dihedral angles between the benzoxazolyl and phenyl planes are 4.1(3) and 2.9(3)°, respectively.  相似文献

Treatment of carbido cluster Ru5(μ 5-C)(CO)15 with Me3NO in acetonitrile solution followed by addition of dimethyl maleate or dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylate affords new clusters Ru5(μ 5-C)(CO)13[C2H2(CO2Me)2] (1) and Ru5(μ 5-C)(CO)15[C2(CO2Me)2] (2), respectively. Single crystal X-ray structural studies reveal that both complexes contain a wingtip-bridged butterfly pentametallic skeleton. In complex1 the maleate fragment is coordinated to one wingtip Ru atom through its carbon-carbon double bond and to the adjacent Ru atom by the formation of two O → Ru dative bonding interactions, while the acetylene dicarboxylate fragment in2 is best considered as acis-dimetallated alkene, linking one hinge Ru atom and the nearby Ru atom at the bridged position. Crystal data for1: space group P 42/n;a=20.199(6),c=13.941(3) Å,Z=8; finalR F=0.025,R w=0.026 for 3963 reflections withI>2σ(I). Abstract  Reaction of [(η5-C5Me5Mo)2B5H9], 1 with 5-fold excess of n-BuLi at −70 °C followed by excess of RI (R = n-Bu or Ph) at room temperature yielded B-R inserted metallaboranes [(η5-C5Me5Mo)2B5H8R] (2: R = n-Bu, 5: R = Ph), [(η5-C5Me5Mo)2B5H7R2] (3, 4: R = n-Bu; 6, 7: R = Ph). Isolated yields of mono-alkyl/arylated species are better than di-alkyl/arylated ones. All the new cluster compounds have been characterized by IR, 1H, 11B, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy as simple substitution derivatives of [(η5-C5Me5Mo)2B5H9] and the structural types of one of these species, 2 was established by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The complex (Cp2Ti)2AlH4Cl has been isolated from the catalytic system (Cp2TiCl)2-LiAlH4, which is a precursor of the catalyst for the hydrogenation and isomerization of olefins. This complex has been studied by X-ray diffraction. The complex forms rhomboidal crystals with unit cell dimensions a = 10.414, b = 11.998, c = 16.008 Å, space group P212121, Z = 4, and density ϱcalc = 1.40 g/cm3. The Cp2Ti moieties are linked to the Al atom via double hydrogen bridges; the Cl atom is bonded to the Al atom. Analysis of the EPR spectral data and some chemical properties of (Cp2Ti)2AlH4Cl solutions has led us to suggest a mechanism for the formation of the catalytically active species upon interaction of this compound with olefins and solvating solvents.  相似文献
