We discuss a possible interpretation of the f 0(980)-meson as a hadronic molecule —a bound state of K and mesons. Using a phenomenological Lagrangian approach we calculate the strong f 0(980) → ππ and electromagnetic f 0(980) → γγ decays. The compositeness condition provides a self-consistent method to determine the coupling constant between f 0 and its constituents, K and . Form factors governing the decays of the f 0(980) are calculated by evaluating the kaon loop integrals. The predicted f 0(980) → ππ and f 0(980) → γγ decay widths are in good agreement with available data and results of other theoretical approaches.  相似文献

There is a natural cancellation between the contributions of the qqq and qqqq components to the axial charge of the N(1535)-resonance. While the probability of the former is larger than that of the latter, its coefficient in the axial charge expression is exceptionally small. The magnitude of two of the corresponding coefficients of the qqqq components is in contrast large and has the opposite sign. This result provides a phenomenological illustration of the recent unquenched lattice calculation result that the axial charge of the N(1535)-resonance is very small, if not vanishing (T.T. Takahashi, T. Kunihiro, arXiv: 0801.4707 [hep-lat]). The result sets an upper limit on the magnitude of the probability of qqqq components as well.  相似文献

A trajectory attractor is constructed for the 2D Euler system containing an additional dissipation term −ru, r > 0, with periodic boundary conditions. The corresponding dissipative 2D Navier-Stokes system with the same term −ru and with viscosity v > 0 also has a trajectory attractor, . Such systems model large-scale geophysical processes in atmosphere and ocean (see [1]). We prove that → as v → 0+ in the corresponding metric space. Moreover, we establish the existence of the minimal limit of the trajectory attractors as v → 0+. We prove that is a connected invariant subset of . The connectedness problem for the trajectory attractor by itself remains open. Phenomenological issues of CP violation in the quark sector of the Standard Model are discussed. We consider quark mixing in the SM, standard, and Wolfenstein parametrization of the CKM mixing matrix and unitarity triangle. We discuss the phenomenology of CP violation in K L 0 and B d 0()-decays. The standard unitarity triangle fit of the existing data is discussed. In appendix A we compare the K 0 ⇆ , B d,s 0 ⇆ , etc. oscillations with neutrino oscillations. In Appendix B we derive the evolution equation for the M − system in the Weisskopf-Wigner approximation. The reaction 54Fe(, p)55Fe was studied at the Munich Q3D spectrograph with a 14MeV polarized deuteron beam. Excitation energies, angular distributions and analyzing powers were measured for 39 states up to 4.5MeV excitation energy. Spin and parity assignments were made and spectroscopic factors deduced by comparison to DWBA calculations. The results were compared to predictions by large-scale shell model calculations in the full pf -shell and it was found that reasonable agreement for energies and spectroscopic factors below 2.5MeV could only be obtained if up to 6 particles were allowed to be excited from the f 7/2 orbital into p 3/2 , f 5/2 , and p 1/2 orbitals across the N = 28 gap. For levels above 2.5MeV the experimental strength distribution was found to be significantly more fragmented than predicted by the shell model calculations.  相似文献

The leptonic () decay of a heavy quark-antiquark bound state T( Q) with a Higgs-boson H emission is investigated. Applying the low-energy theorem to meson-Higgs coupling allows one to estimate the probability of the decay T( Q) → H. We calculate the q pair production probability in the colour-flux tube model by considering the effect of non-Abelian interactions in the theory. Non-Abelian interactions in the colour field are time-dependent and hence should oscillate with a characteristic frequency ω 0, which depends on the amplitude of the field strength. Using the WKB approximation in complex time, we calculated the pair production probability. When the strength of the field is comparable to the quark masses, the corresponding pair creation probability is maximum, and for the static field ω 0 → 0, we recovered the well-known Schwinger result.   相似文献

We review the non-anticommutative Q-deformations of = (1, 1) supersymmetric theories in four-dimensional Euclidean harmonic superspace. These deformations preserve chirality and harmonic Grassmann analyticity. The associated field theories arise as a low-energy limit of string theory in specific backgrounds and generalize the Moyal-deformed supersymmetric field theories. A characteristic feature of the Q-deformed theories is the half-breaking of supersymmetry in the chiral sector of the Euclidean superspace. Our main focus is on the chiral singlet Q-deformation, which is distinguished by preserving the SO(4) ∼ Spin(4) “Lorentz” symmetry and the SU(2) R-symmetry. We present the superfield and component structures of the deformed = (1, 0) supersymmetric gauge theory as well as of hypermultiplets coupled to a gauge superfield: invariant actions, deformed transformation rules, and so on. We discuss quantum aspects of these models and prove their renormalizability in the Abelian case. For the charged hypermultiplet in an Abelian gauge superfield background we construct the deformed holomorphic effective action. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The role of the band quantum number K in influencing the character of allowed transitions in heavy deformed nuclei is examined. The conditions for the occurrence of K -forbidden decays in this region are explored. Specific cases of “allowed” decays proceeding via K = 2 to K = 6 channels are presented to illustrate the phenomenon. The listed K = 2 transitions, which by themselves contribute over 10% of all the presently known allowed transitions for A 228 nuclei, are seen to have an average , which is clearly outside the normal range for allowed transitions. It is concluded that, wherever the -connected states can be confidently labelled using the quantum numbers, the K -forbiddenness is in general as significant as that involving the other two (spin and parity) quantum numbers.  相似文献

The preliminary results on the tensor T20 analyzing power for the 12C(,p)13C* reaction with the excitation of 13C levels and the d(,p)X reaction at the energies T d = 140, 200 and 270 MeV at the emission angle Θ cm = 0° are presented. The data on the tensor A yy and vector A y analyzing powers for the 12C(,p)13C* reaction at the energy T d = 270 MeV in the angular range from 4° to 18° in the laboratory are also obtained.  相似文献

We show that the Grassmannian independence of the super-Lagrangian density, expressed in terms of the superfields defined on a (4,2)-dimensional supermanifold, is a clear-cut proof for the Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) and anti-BRST invariance of the corresponding four (3+1)-dimensional (4D) Lagrangian density that describes the interaction between the U(1) gauge field and the charged complex scalar fields. The above 4D field theoretical model is considered on a (4,2)-dimensional supermanifold parametrized by the ordinary four space-time variables x μ (with μ = 0, 1, 2, 3) and a pair of Grassmannian variables θ and (with θ 2 = 2 = 0, θ + θ = 0). Geometrically, the (anti-)BRST invariance is encoded in the translation of the super-Lagrangian density along the Grassmannian directions of the above supermanifold such that the outcome of this shift operation is zero.   相似文献

We present a systematic analysis of backward pion photoproduction for the reactions p p and p n . Regge phenomenology is applied at invariant collision energies above 3GeV in order to fix the reaction amplitude. A comparision with older data on - and -photoproduction at = 180° indicates that the high-energy limit as given by the Regge calculation could be reached possibly at energies of around ≃ 3 GeV. In the energy region of 2.5 GeV, covered by the new measurements of p p differential cross-sections at large angles at ELSA, JLab, and LEPS, we see no clear signal for a convergence towards the Regge results. The baryon trajectories obtained in our analysis are in good agreement with those given by the spectrum of excited baryons.  相似文献

The single-pion production reactions pp d , pp np and pp pp were measured at a beam momentum of 0.95GeV/c ( T p 400 MeV) using the short version of the COSY-TOF spectrometer. The central calorimeter provided particle identification, energy determination and neutron detection in addition to time-of-flight and angle measurements from other detector parts. Thus all pion production channels were recorded with 1-4 overconstraints. The main emphasis is put on the presentation and discussion of the np channel, since the results on the other channels have already been published previously. The total and differential cross-sections obtained are compared to theoretical calculations. In contrast to the pp channel we observe in the np channel a strong influence of the excitation. In particular, the pion angular distribution exhibits a (3 cos2 + 1) -dependence, typical for a pure s -channel excitation and identical to that observed in the d channel. Since the latter is understood by a s -channel resonance in the 1 D 2 pn partial wave, we discuss an analogous scenario for the pn channel.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the calculation of two-loop (α s 2) MSSM corrections to the relation between the pole mass of the t quark and its running mass in the scheme. Firstly, the value of the second-order contribution from large-mass expansion in mt/M SUSY is studied. Contrary to our expectations, this contribution turned out to be negligible. As a by-product of this calculation, the two-loop anomalous dimension of the running quark mass is obtained in the supersymmetric QCD. The general expressions for parity violation observables in elastic scattering of polarized and/or unpolarized electrons from unpolarized deuterons are given and are numerically evaluated for the kinematics of SAMPLE, PVA4 and G0 experiments. The dominant contribution from the interference of and Z exchange as well as the smaller contributions from strangeness (s components of the nucleon, parity odd admixtures in the deuteron wave function, anapole moments and radiative corrections are included and discussed in the context of parity-violating electron scattering experiments of present interest.  相似文献

Prospects for observing a SUSY-like signal from two gluinos are investigated within a certain region of the mSUGRA parameter space, where the cross section of the two gluino production in pp collisions at the LHC ( = 14 TeV) via gluon-gluon fusion (gg → ) is estimated at a rather high level of 17.3 pb. In this so-called EGRET region, the lightest stable neutralinos can serve as cold dark matter particles and are natural explanations of the excess of diffuse galactic gamma rays observed by the EGRET space apparatus. The -event selection relies on a very clear signature when decay products of each gluino contain one b-anti-b pair, one or two lepton-antilepton pair(s) and a neutralino. Rather high transverse-missing energy, carried away by the two neutralinos, is an essential signature of the events and also allows the relevant Standard Model background to be reduced significantly. In particular, it was found that the clear signatures of the selected processes demonstrate good prospects discovering the EGRET gluinos at the LHC. The differential cross section and deuteron analysing powers of the p → {pp}n charge-exchange reaction have been measured with the ANKE spectrometer at the COSY storage ring. Using a deuteron beam of energy 1170MeV, data were obtained for small momentum transfers to a {pp} system with low excitation energy. A good quantitative understanding of all the measured observables is provided by the impulse approximation using known neutron-proton amplitudes. The proof of principle achieved here for the method suggests that measurements at higher energies will provide useful information in regions where the existing np database is far less reliable.  相似文献
