The anodic porous alumina membranes with a definite pore diameter and aspect ratio were used as templates tosynthesize polymer pillared layer structures. The pillared polymer was produced in the template membrane pores, and thelayer on the template surfaces. Rigid cured epoxy resin, polystyrene and soft hydrogel were chosen to confirm themethodology. The pillars were in the form of either tubes or fibers, which were controlled by the alumina membrane pore surface wettability. The structural features were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy results.  相似文献

The steam reforming of methane was carried out in two types ofmembrane reactor and in a conventional fixed-bed reactor packed with acatalyst of Rh/Al_2O_3.The membranes were a neat anodic alumina membraneand a Pd-anodic alumina composite membrane.Experimental conditions wereas follows:reaction temperature 573-723 K,operating pressure 1 atm,H_2O/CH_4=3.0 (molar ratio),methane space velocity 453 h~(-1).It was shown thatthe attainable conversion of methane in membrane reactors were greater thanthat in the conventional fixed-bed reactor as a result of selective removal ofhydrogen from the reaction system.Under the same experimental conditions thecomposite membrane exhibited much more effective in increasing methaneconversion than the neat one.This was attributed to their hydrogenpermselectivity.  相似文献

Two kinds of polypeptides were tethered onto the surface of polypropylene microporous membrane (PPMM) through a ring opening polymerization of L-glutamate N-carboxyanhydride initiated by amino groups which were introduced by ammonia plasma and y-aminopropyl triethanoxysilane treatments. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR/ATR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), together with water contact angle measurements were used to characterize the modified membranes. XPS analyses and FT-IR/ATR spectra demonstrated that polypeptides are actually grafted onto the membrane surface. The wettability of the membrane surface increases at first and then decreases with the increase in grafting degrees of polypeptide. Platelet adhesion and murine macrophage attachment experiments reveal an enhanced hemocompatibility for the polypeptide modified PPMMs. All these results give evidence that polypeptide grafting can simultaneously improve the hemocompatibility as well as reserve the hydrophobicity for the membrane, which will provide a potential approach to improve the performance of polypropylene hollow fiber microporous membrane used in artificial oxygenator.  相似文献

The reactivation of delipidated cytochrome oxidase depends on the reformation of "an-nular lipids", which is tightly bounded to the enzyme molecule. In the restoration of oxidase activity, the efficiencies of phospholipids with differentpolar head groups decrease in this order: PS>DPG>PI>PA>PG>PC, PE and inthe case of phosphatidyleholines with differentt acyl chain the order is: DOPC>LPC>PC>DPPC, DSPC. Therefore both the polar head group and the acyl ehain of phospholipidsmust be considered in the reactivatioll process. The existence and fhe specificity of "anuular lipids' obviously influence the incorpora-tion of cytochrome oxidase into liposomes. When acidic phospholipids are used as "annularlipids", the effectiveness of reconstitution decreases in this order: PI>PS>DPG>PA,PG. Divalent metallic cations would facilitate the cytochrome oxidase reconstitution, but theireffects depend on the composition of "annular lipids". Using dialysis method Ca~(2 ) andMg~(2 ) could facilitate the incorporation into liposomes of tlle enzymes having PS or DOPCas their "boundary lipids". A comparison between the effects of different metallic cations on incorporation of cyto-cbrome oxidase also shows that, with PI as "annulay lipids", the effectiveness of differentcations on incorporation by incubation method decreases in this order: Ca~(2 )>Mg~(2 )>Mn~(2 ),Sr~(2 )>La~(3 ). Apparently, the effect of metallic cations on incorporntion cannot be inter-preted by considering only the neutralization of the negative charged groups on membraneprotein and lipids.  相似文献

The investigation of the esterolysis of p-nitrophenol acetate (PNPA) catalyzedby alginate-cobalt(Ⅱ) complex membrane was carried out under various conditions. Theresults showed that the pseudo-first-order plots of the hydrolyses of PNPA catalyzed byalginate-Co(Ⅱ) complex membrane were linear. The kinetic constants were obtained andshowed that the hydrolysis reactions obeyed Michaelis-Menten equations, showing anenzyme-like catalytic function of the membrane.  相似文献

Porous poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) membranes were successfully prepared using dibutyl phthalate (DBP), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP-K30), polyethylene glycol 200 (PEG200) as templates. SEM was used to examine the morphology of the PVDF-HFP porous membranes. It was found that these membranes have an asymmetric structure and the blends of PVDF-HFP/DBP formed nanoporous membranes, whereas the blends of PVDF- HFP/PVP-K30 formed "sponge-like" and microporous membranes. Moreover, the average pore size and porosity was about 0.3 μm and 48.7%, respectively. The crystallinity, thermal stability and mechanical strength of membranes were characterized by XRD, DSC, TGA and stress-strain tests. The results showed that the membranes are a crystals with excellent thermal stability. It was an effective way to regulate pore size and morphology of the PVDF-HFP membranes.  相似文献

A modified method of preparing crown functionalized linear polysiloxane has beendescribed. 4'-Allyldibenzo-18-crown-6 was subjected to hydrosilylation withmethyldichlorosilane, followed by polycondensation with silanol-terminatedpolydimethylsiloxane to give the title crown functionalized linear polysiloxane. Thetransport properties of sodium, potassium, and ammonium salt through a bulk liquidmembrane system using the new type of crown functionalized linear polysiloxane as acarrier were investigated. An apparatus constructed for measuring permeation properties of polymer membranes using a mixture of gases is described. A gas chromatographic system was applied to determine the individual transport characteristics of component gases without a vacuum line. This paper also discusses some experimental factors effecting the precision of measurement. The results show that there is a linear relationship between the permeation time and the volume of the gas permeated through the membrane within certain permeation period, which depends on the permeation rate (from 10~(-4) to 10~(-7) cm~3 (STP)/cm~2. sec. cmHg) of the membrane. The reproducibility has been found to be good with a relative standard deviation of 3.5%. This method is more sensitive, considerably faster and more convenient for determining both the permeability coefficient and the separation factor of a polymer membrane from a chromat ogram using mixed penetrant gases.  相似文献

A new solvent polymeric membrane (SPM)pH2sensor based on 4,4'-bis (N, N-didecylamino)methyl)azobenzene as neutral carricr has been reported. It has excellent pH response characteristics with the linear response range (1.7—13.2)much wider than that of similar SPM pH sensors reported so far.
