The phytochemical study of stem bark of Allanblackia gabonensis has resulted in the isolation and characterisation of one new xanthone derivative, named allanxanthone D, together with 10 known compounds, including 6 xanthones derivatives, allanxanthone A, 1,5-dihydroxyxanthone, 1,7-dihydroxyxanthone and 1,3,6,7-tetrahydroxy-2-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)xanthone, forbexanthone, 6-deoxyisojacareubin, one polyisoprenylated benzophenone, guttiferone F, one flavanol, epicathechin, two phytosterols, beta-sitosterol and campesterol. The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of one- and two-dimensional NMR homo- and hetero-nuclear evidence. These compounds were evaluated for their activity against Leishmania amazonensis in vitro and antimicrobial activities against a range of Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria. 相似文献

A new xanthone (1, 1,7-dihydroxy-2-methoxyxanthone), in addition to the known metabolites 1,7-dihydroxyxanthone (2), 24(R)-stigmast-7,22 (E)-dien-3α-ol (3), and 1,7-dimethoxyxanthone (4), was isolated from the roots of Securidaca inappendiculata. Compounds 1–4 were evaluated by anti-HIV assay and 1–3 showed anti-HIV-1inhibitory activity in vitro.

Coprinus xanthothrix was found to have nematicidal activity. Xanthothone was isolated from culture extract guided by activity assay, which was
identified as a novel natural product. Two other compounds were also isolated. These compounds showed nematicidal activity,
with LD50 value of 125–250 ppm both against Panagrellus redivivus and Meloidogyne incognita.

The inhibitory effect of para-nitrophenol on the catalytic reaction of catalase was investigated. Michaelis-Menten kinetic parameters were determined from
Lineweaver-Burk plots obtained in the absence or in the presence of the inhibitor. The inhibitor pattern, revealed by the
Lineweaver-Burk plots, suggested a fully mixed inhibition mechanism. Spectrophotometric monitoring of the indicator reaction:
in conjunction with initial rate measurements was employed for the kinetic determination of the inhibitor. Calibration plots
of initial rate vs. para-nitrophenol concentration were linear in the concentration range 0.9·10−5–2.5·10−5 mol/L and the detection limit was 3·10−6 mol/L (417 μg/L) para-nitrophenol. Interferences from other phenolic compounds like orto-cresole, meta-and orto-nitrophenol were observed. 相似文献

Streptimonospora salina gen. nov., sp. nov. was found to produce three phenoxazinone antibiotics, 2-amino-3H-phenoxazin-3-one (1), 2-methylamino-3H-phenoxazin-3-one (2), 2-acetylamino-3H-phenoxazin-3-one (3), and one phenazine antibiotic, phenazine-1-carboxylic acid (4). The chemical structures of the compounds
were determined using 1D and 2D NMR spectrometry and electrospray mass spectrometry (ESMS). Compounds 1-4 exhibited modest
cytotoxicity against a human renal carcinoma cell line ACHN with IC50 values of 35.4, 12.4, 65.4, and 82.9 μM, respectively. Compound 2 was discovered for the first time from a biological origin.

In order to study some biological active products, phytochemical investigation of the stem bark of Turraeanthus africanus have led to the isolation of a novel compound 1, a new benzoic acid derivative, named turraeanthin C, and two known compounds sesamin (2) and stigmasterol. The structures of these compounds were established by spectral analysis, including two-dimensional nuclear
magnetic resonance. The extract and the isolated compounds 1 and 2 showed noteworthy activity against Toxoplasma gondii intracellular parasite in mammals.

A novel steroidal saponin, along with 12 known steroidal compounds, was isolated from the rhizomes of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis. Spectral data, including two-dimensional NMR, showed that the structure of the novel saponin was 3β,21-dihydroxypregnane-5-en-20S-(22,16)-lactone-1-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-[β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyranoside. The isolated steroidal compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activity on human gastric cancer cell
line HepG2, SGC7901, BxPC3. Diosgenin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)[α-L-rabinofuranosyl(1→4)]-β-D-glucopyranoside exhibited the most potent cytotoxic activity among the isolated steroids.

Two new phenolic compounds, 4-O-β-D-(6-O-gentisoylglucopyranosyl) vanillic acid (1), 2-O-β-D-(6-O-gentisoylglucopyranosyl) gentisic acid (2), together with three known compounds, vanillic acid (3), syringic acid (4), and gentisic acid (5), were isolated from the whole part of Stenoloma chusanum (L.) Ching. Structures of the two new compounds 1, 2 were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods, including twodimensional NMR techniques and HR ESI-MS analysis. The
compounds′ activities against Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum, and Aspergillus niger were determined, and the minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) were 25–100 μg/mL.

A new briarane diterpene, juncin ZII (1), along with three known briaranes (2–4), was isolated from the EtOH/CH2Cl2 extracts of the South China Sea gorgonian Junceella juncea. The structure of 1 was established by extensive spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR data. For compounds 1–4 and eight other briaranes (5–12) isolated from J. juncea previously, the antifeedant activity against second-instar larvae of Spodoptera litura and cytotoxicity against S. litura cells were investigated, and it was observed that they all exhibit medium antifeedant activity. Compounds 1, 8, 9, and 12 also showed potent antifouling activity against the larval settlement of barnacle Balanus amphitrite at nontoxic concentrations with EC50 values of 0.004, 0.005, 2.82, and 0.447 μg/mL, respectively, while all compounds did not show obvious cytotoxicity against
tumor cell lines K562, A549, Hela, and Hep-2. Their structure-activity relationship was discussed.

A new flavonoid, kaempferol-3,4′-di-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (1), and three known flavonoids (2–4) were isolated from the aerial parts of T. communis L. The structure of the new compound was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. Compounds 1 and 2 showed significant antioxidant activity (IC50 187.151 ± 0.821 μM, and 92.079±0.513 μM, respectively), whereas compounds 3 and 4 showed moderate activity in DPPH free radical scavenging assays.

Two new lignans were isolated with two other known compounds, eusiderin A and eusiderin I, from Eusideroxylon zwageri (billian). The two new lignans have isomeric structure. The structures of the new lignans were determined to be (2R,3R,4S)-2,3-dimethyl-6,7-dimethoxy-4-ethoxy (3′,4′,5′-trimethoxybenzene)-1,5-dihydroxytetralin and (2R,3S,4S)-2,3-dimethyl-6,7-dimethoxy-4-ethoxy(3′,4′,5′-trimethoxybenzene)-1,5-dihydroxytetralin.

Several 2-heteroaryl-, 2-heteroarylcarbonylmethyl-, 2-arylcarbonylmethyl, and 2-arylethyl derivatives of S-dihydro(alkyloxy)benzyloxypyrimidines have been synthesized and the anti-HIV activities of these compounds were tested in
C8166 cell and against RT enzyme. It was found that some of these compounds showed good activity against HIV-1 (EC
50 = 0.014–0.8 μM) with low toxicity (CC
50 value of 222–564 μM) and high selectivity (SI value of 278–37743). The structure-activity relationships (SAR) of these compounds have also been discussed.

A new bicyclo[3.2.1]octanoid neolignan rel-(7S,8R,1′S,2′R,3′S)-Δ8′-2′-hydroxy-5,1′,3′-trimethoxy-3,4methylenedioxy-7,3′,8,1′-neolignan (1) was isolated from ethanol extract from the fruit of Ocotea heterochroma Mez & Sodiro ex Mez as well as the known compounds β-friedelanol (2), meso-dehydroguaiaretic acid (3), and yangambin (4), whose structures were elucidated on the basis of their comprehensive spectroscopic analysis including 2D NMR data. Lethality
bioassay using brine shrimp (Artemia salina Leach) was evaluated with the ethanol extract from the Ocotea heterochroma’s fruit. The toxicity of this extract was greater than the toxicity of those fractions obtained in a first solvent partition
(benzene, ethyl acetate, and butanol subfractions) and that of a mixture of acetylated 2′-epimers from the new neolignan 1.

saccharose, 1-kestose, and nystose were present in the free state. The structures of the two dominant polymeric compounds,

A new stilbene glycoside, 5-methylresveratrol-3,4′-O-β-D-diglucopyranoside (1), was isolated from the n-butanol fraction of the rhizomes of Veratrum dahuricum, together with five known stilbenoids: resveratrol-3-O-β-D-glycoside (2), 4′-methylresveratrol-3-O-β-D-glycoside (3), oxyresveratrol-4′-O-β-D-glycoside (4), oxyresveratrol-3-O-β-D-glycoside (5), and oxyresveratrol-3,4′-O-β-D-diglycoside (6), and found for the first time in the investigated plant. The structures of six isolates were identified on the basis of
1D and 2D NMR data. Compounds 1–6 showed platelet aggregation inhibition, and compound 1 had an IC50 value of 383.6 μM against platelet aggregation induced by AA.
