Email: elh_tissir{at}yahoo.fr Received on September 8, 2005; Accepted on July 24, 2006 This paper deals with the problem of robust stabilization foruncertain systems with input saturation and time delay in thestate. The parameter uncertainties are time-varying and unknownbut are norm bounded. Sufficient conditions obtained via a linearmatrix inequality formulation are stated to guarantee the localstabilization. The method of synthesis consists in determiningsimultaneously a state feedback control law and an associateddomain of safe admissible states for which the stability ofthe closed-loop system is guaranteed when control saturationseffectively occur. Numerical examples are used to demonstratethe effectiveness of the proposed design technique.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive neural network synchronization controller is proposed for two chaotic systems with input time delay and uncertainty. The studied chaotic system may possess a wide class of nonlinear time-delayed input uncertainty. The radial basis function (RBF) neural network is used to approximate the unknown continuous bounded function item of the time delay uncertainty via appropriate weight value updated law. With the output of RBF neural network, a robust adaptive synchronization control scheme is presented for the time delay uncertain chaotic system. Finally, a simulation example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization control scheme.  相似文献

This paper deals with the robust stability analysis for uncertain systems with time-varying delay. New delay-dependent robust stability criteria of uncertain time-delay systems are proposed by exploiting appropriate Lyapunov functional candidate. These developed results have advantages over some previous ones in that they have fewer matrix variables yet less conservatism, due to the introduction of a method to estimate the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional candidate without ignoring the additional useful terms. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the advantage of the proposed method.  相似文献

We consider a class of large-scale uncertain delay systems. The uncertain parameter vector in the system is possibly fast time-varying. It may be nonlinear in the system dynamics. No statistical or fuzzy information of the uncertainty is known. Based on only the possible bound of the uncertain parameter, a decentralized linear robust control is proposed, which renders the system asymptotically stable.  相似文献

This work presents two simple and robust techniques based on time delay estimation for the respective control and synchronization of chaos systems. First, one of these techniques is applied to the control of a chaotic Lorenz system with both matched and mismatched uncertainties. The nonlinearities in the Lorenz system is cancelled by time delay estimation and desired error dynamics is inserted. Second, the other technique is applied to the synchronization of the Lü system and the Lorenz system with uncertainties. The synchronization input consists of three elements that have transparent and clear meanings.Since time delay estimation enables a very effective and efficient cancellation of disturbances and nonlinearities, the techniques turn out to be simple and robust. Numerical simulation results show fast, accurate and robust performance of the proposed techniques, thereby demonstrating their effectiveness for the control and synchronization of Lorenz systems.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the function observer-based stabilizationfor time-varying delay systems with parameter uncertainties. The uncertain systems tackled in this paper involve uncertaintyin quadratic constrained form which includes the well-knownnorm-bounded time-varying uncertainty as a special case. Interms of Razumikhin-type stability theorem, we show that thefeasibility of several matrix inequalities guarantees the solvabilityof the addressed problem. Furthermore, we propose a parametricapproach for function observer-based robust stabilizer design.  相似文献

By using PIλDμ controller, we investigate the problem of computing the robust stability region for interval plant with time delay. The fractional order interval quasi-polynomial is decomposed into several vertex characteristic quasi-polynomials by the lower and upper bounds, in which the value set of the characteristic quasi-polynomial for vertex quasi-polynomials in the complex plane is a polygon. The D-decomposition technique is used to characterize the stability boundaries of each vertex characteristic quasi-polynomial in the space of controller parameters. We investigate how the fractional integrator order λ and the derivative order μ in the range (0, 2) affect the stabilizability of each vertex characteristic quasi-polynomial. The stability region of interval characteristic quasi-polynomial is determined by intersecting the stability region of each quasi-polynomial. The parameters of PIλDμ controller are obtained by selecting the control parameters from the stability region. Using the value set together with zero exclusion principle, the robust stability is tested and the algorithm of robust stability region is also proposed. The algorithm proposed here is useful in analyzing and designing the robust PIλDμ controller for interval plant. An example is given to show how the presented algorithm can be used to compute all the parameters of a PIλDμ controller which stabilize a interval plant family.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability and robust stability criteria for linear systems with time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainties. Through constructing a general form of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, and using integral inequalities, some slack matrices and newly established convex combination condition in the calculation, the delay-dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the improvement on the conservatism of the delay bound over some reported results in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive sliding mode controller (RASMC) is proposed to realize chaos synchronization between two different chaotic systems with uncertainties, external disturbances and fully unknown parameters. It is assumed that both master and slave chaotic systems are perturbed by uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. The bounds of the uncertainties and external disturbances are assumed to be unknown in advance. Suitable update laws are designed to tackle the uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. For constructing the RASMC a simple sliding surface is first designed. Then, the RASMC is derived to guarantee the occurrence of the sliding motion. The robustness and stability of the proposed RASMC is proved using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the introduced RASMC is applied to achieve chaos synchronization between three different pairs of the chaotic systems (Lorenz–Chen, Chen–Lorenz, and Liu–Lorenz) in the presence of the uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. Some numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed RASMC.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of two stochastic complex networks synchronize to the limit set with adaptive controller and adaptive delay, which are not fully considered in the existing research. A few articles on stability of stochastic complex networks with time‐varying delay is discussed, but the time‐varying delayed and its derivative are bounded on time t. In this paper, the time‐varying delay is adaptive. Also, the coupling matrix with stochastic perturbation is also considered. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a design problem of dynamic output guaranteed cost controller (GCC) of a class of neutral systems with input delay. A quadratic cost function is considered as a performance measure for the closed-loop system. Based on the Lyapunov second method, two stability criteria for existence of the controller are derived in terms of matrix inequalities. The solutions of the matrix inequalities can be easily obtained using existing efficient convex optimization techniques. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed design method.  相似文献

The stabilization problem for a class of discrete-time systems with time-varying delay is investigated. By constructing an augmented Lyapunov function, some sufficient conditions guaranteeing exponential stabilization are established in forms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. When norm-bounded parameter uncertainties appear in the delayed discrete-time system, a delay-dependent robust exponential stabilization criterion is also presented. All of the criteria obtained in this paper are strict linear matrix inequality conditions, which make the controller gain matrix can be solved directly. Three numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and improvement of the derived results.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive sliding mode controller (RASMC) is introduced to synchronize two different chaotic systems in the presence of unknown bounded uncertainties and external disturbances. The structure of the master and slave chaotic systems has no restrictive assumption. Appropriate adaptation laws are derived to tackle the uncertainties and external disturbances. Based on the adaptation laws and Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive sliding control law is designed to ensure the occurrence of the sliding motion even when both master and slave systems are perturbed with unknown uncertainties and external disturbances. Since the conventional sliding mode controllers contain the sign function, the undesirable chattering is occurred. We propose a new simple adaptive scheme to eliminate the chattering. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to verify the usefulness and applicability of the proposed control strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of decentralized robust model reference control for a class of interconnected time-delay systems is investigated. The interconnections with time-varying time delays considered are high order and the gains are not known. A class of decentralized adaptive feedback controllers are proposed, which can render the resulting closed-loop error system uniformly ultimately bounded stable. A numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design techniques.  相似文献

The transportation problem (TP) is one of the most popular network problems because of its theoretical and practical importance. If the transportation cost linearly depends on the transported amount of the product, then TP is solvable in polynomial time with linear programming methods. However, in the real world, the transportation costs are generally nonlinear, frequently concave where the unit cost for transporting products decreases as the amount of products increases. Since concave cost transportation problems (ccTPs) are NP-hard, solving large-scale problems is time consuming. In this study, we propose a hybrid algorithm based on the concepts borrowed from tabu search (TS) and simulated annealing (SA) to solve the ccTP. This algorithm, called ATSA (adaptive tabu-simulated annealing), is an SA approach supplemented with a tabu list and adaptive cooling strategy. The effectiveness of ATSA has been investigated in two stages using a set of TPs with different sizes. The first stage includes performance analysis of ATSA using SA, ASA (adaptive simulated anealing) and TS, which are basic forms of ATSA. In the second stage, ATSA has been compared with the heuristic approaches given in the literature for ccTP. Statistical analysis shows that ATSA exhibits better performance than its basic forms and heuristic approaches.  相似文献

This paper proposes an approach for the robust stability of uncertain systems with interval time-varying delay. The key features of the approach include the introduction of uncorrelated augmented matrix items into the Lyapunov functional and the use of a tighter bounding technology. Unlike existing methodologies, the proposed approach involves neither free weighting matrices nor any model transformation. It can, however, lead to much less conservative stability criteria than the existing ones for the systems under consideration. Numerical examples show that the proposed criteria improve the existing results significantly with much less computational effort.  相似文献
