Alkylbenzenes were subjected to bromination with molecular bromine using 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide as solvent. A complex of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide with bromine was synthesized. It ensured bromination of alkylbenzenes with no bromine and solvent. The results of bromination in binary solvents and ionic liquids, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide and tribromide were compared. The bromination of ethylbenzene with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tribromide was accompanied by formation of a considerable amount of α-bromoethylbenzene, which is not typical of electrophilic aromatic substitution process.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The present work is devoted to the thermochemical study of solvation of ionic liquids (IL) in benzene. The solution enthalpies of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tricyanomethanide [EMIM][C(CN)3], 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate [BMIM][BF4], 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate [HMIM][PF6], 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate [OMIM][BF4], 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [EMIM][NTf2], 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [BMIM][NTf2] and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate [BMIM][TfO] in benzene were measured. The solvation enthalpies of imidazolium-based IL were calculated. Molar refractions of imidazolium-based IL form literature data on density and refractive indexes of IL were also calculated. The linear correlation between solvation enthalpy and molar refraction of IL was observed. This correlation can be used to calculate the vaporization enthalpy of imidazolium-based IL from solution calorimetry data.  相似文献

The protonation of the electrochemically generated (0.1 M solution of tetrabutylammonium perchlorate in DMF) 1,3-dinitrobenzene (1) dianions with phenol, ethanol, tert-butanol, and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation was studied by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry at the carbositall working electrode. The rate constants for the protonation (k) of the dianion of compound 1 by phenol, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation, ethanol, and tert-butanol were estimated by the comparison of the data of cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry with the digital simulation results, being 100, 50, 1.5, and 0.01 L mol−1 s−1, respectively. The similarly obtained k value for the protonation of the dianion of 1,4-dinitrobenzene (2) with phenol is 13 L mol−1 s−1. According to the quantum chemical calculation results, the protonation of the dianions of compounds 1 and 2 with phenol and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation can be classified as orbital-controlled reactions. 以NaHSO4为催化剂, 在离子液体1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐([bmim]BF4)介质中, 由芳香醛与1,3-环己二酮衍生物制备了9-芳基-2,3,4,5,6,7-六氢-2H-氧杂蒽-1,8-二酮衍生物. 在沸水浴中反应1~2 h, 产率达81.2%~93.0%. 该方法反应时间短, 产率高, 催化剂价廉易得, 而且对环境友好.  相似文献

This work presents (vapor + liquid) equilibrium (VLE) of binary mixtures containing methanol or ethanol and three imidazolium based ionic liquids: 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate, and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate. VLE measurements were carried out over the whole range of composition between (283.15 and 298.15) K using a static apparatus. Activity coefficients γi of these solvents in the ionic liquids have been determined from the VLE data and correlated using the NRTL model. The results show that the NRTL model can be applied successfully with systems containing ionic liquids.  相似文献

The molecular structure and rotational motion of the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM][PF6]) were studied over a wide temperature range using the Bloembergen–Purcell–Pound 13C NMR spin–lattice relaxation method and NOE factors. Examination of the spin–lattice relaxation times (T 1) and the rates (R 1=1/T 1) of the 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation reveals the relative motions of each carbon in the imidazolium cation. The rotational characteristics of the [BMIM] cation are supported by ab-initio molecular structures of [BMIM][PF6] using density functional theory (DFT) and Hartree–Fock (HF) methods. The ab-initio gas phase structures of [BMIM][PF6] indicate that the 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium C2 hydrogen, the ring methyl group, and the butyl side-chain hydrogen atoms form hydrogen bonds with the hexafluorophosphate anion.  相似文献

Densities and viscosities were determined for binary mixtures of 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol (TFE) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([bmim][BF4]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF6]) or 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide ([bmim][NTf2]) over the entire range of composition. The experimental measurements were carried out at temperatures ranging from 278.15 K to 333.15 K, at atmospheric pressure. The densities and viscosities of the pure ionic liquids and their mixtures with TFE were described successfully by an empirical third-order polynomial and by the Vogel–Fulcher–Tammann equation, respectively. In addition, excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations were determined from densities and viscosities of mixtures, respectively, and fitted by using the Redlich–Kister equation.  相似文献

A highly efficient and simple method for the synthesis of N-aryl derivatives of pyrimidine and purine nucleobases via Narylation of nucleobases using zinc oxide in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([bmim]Br) under microwave as well as thermal conditions is described. Aza-Prins cyclization reaction of N-tosyl-3-butenylamine with aliphatic and aromatic aldehydes was performed using a combination of FeCl3 and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BmimPF6) or 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrachloroferrate (BmimFeCl4) in benzotrifluoride (BTF). The desired N-tosyl-4-chloro-2-substituted piperidines were obtained from aliphatic aldehydes in comparable yields to those for the previously reported reactions in which FeCl3 was used in CH2Cl2. On the other hand, significant progress for the piperidine synthesis from aromatic aldehydes has been achieved, particularly when BmimFeCl4 was used with FeCl3 in BTF.  相似文献

The glycolysis of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) was studied using several ionic liquids and basic ionic liquids as catalysts. The basic ionic liquid, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydroxyl ([Bmim]OH), exhibits higher catalytic activity for the glycolysis of PET, compared with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bicarbonate ([Bmim]HCO3), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([Bmim]Br). FT-IR, 1H NMR and DSC were used to confirm the main product of glycolysis was bis(2-hydroxyethyl) terephthalate (BHET) monomer. The influences of experimental parameters, such as the amount of catalyst, glycolysis time, reaction temperature, and dosages of ethylene glycol on the conversion of PET, yield of BHET were investigated. The results showed a strong influence of the mixture evolution of temperature and reaction time on depolymerization of PET. Under the optimum conditions of m(PET):m(EG): 1:10, dosage of [Bmim]OH at 0.1 g (5 wt%), reaction temperature 190 °C and time 2 h, the conversion of PET and the yield of BHET were 100% and 71.2% respectively. Balance between the polymerization of BHET and depolymerization of PET could be changed when the reaction time was more than 2 h and contents of catalyst and EG were changed.  相似文献

The diastereoselective intramolecular electroreductive coupling of several β-ketoesters and β-ketoamides has been accomplished at a tin cathode in ionic liquids and isopropanol (9:1). The ionic liquids used are 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide [BMIM]Br, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate [BMIM]BF4, 1-methoxyethyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate [MOEMIM]CF3COO and 1-methoxyethyl-3-methylimidazolium mesylate [MOEMIM]Ms. This methodology offers a clean and green process for the synthesis of functionalized carbocycles in good yields with excellent stereochemical control at three stereogenic centres.  相似文献

采用水溶性三(间-磺酸钠苯基)膦(TPPTS)作稳定剂, 在离子液体1-丁基-3-甲基-咪唑四氟硼酸盐([BMIM]BF4)或1-丁基-3-甲基-咪唑对甲基苯磺酸盐([BMIM][p-CH3C6H4SO3])介质中用氢气还原RuCl3·3H2O, 得到钌纳米粒子. 将此钌纳米粒子与(1S, 2S)-1,2-二苯基乙二胺(简称(1S, 2S)-DPEN)、KOH在离子液体/异丙醇介质中原位生成一种不对称加氢催化剂, 用于催化苯乙酮及其衍生物的不对称加氢反应. 实验结果表明, 离子液体介质中的纳米钌催化剂体系具有良好的催化活性和对映选择性. 在优化反应条件下, 催化苯乙酮获得了100%的转化率和79.1%的对映选择性. 并且产物经正己烷萃取后, 含有钌纳米粒子的离子液体可以循环使用.  相似文献

Using ionic liquid (IL) [Bmim]Br (Bmim=1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium) as solvent has resulted in a polyoxometalate-based metal-organic framework (PMOFs), [CuIBbi]4SiW12O40·H2O (1) [Bbi=1,1-(1,4-butanediyl)-bis(imidazole)], and was produced via an ionothermal route. Its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 is a 1-D ladder with large voids, resulting in a 3-D supermolecular structure using the classic Keggin-type anion as a second building block. This means utilizing ILs to construct 3-D PMOFs can be efficiently realized. Additionally, electrochemical, electrocatalytic, and photocatalytic properties of 1 were studied.  相似文献

The volumetric properties of seven {water + ionic liquid} binary mixtures have been studied as a function of temperature from (293 to 343) K. The phase behaviour of the systems was first investigated using a nephelometric method and excess molar volumes were calculated from densities measured using an Anton Paar densimeter and fitted using a Redlich–Kister type equation. Two ionic liquids fully miscible with water (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C1C4Im][BF4]) and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate ([C1C2Im][EtSO4])) and five ionic liquids only partially miscible with water (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C2Im][NTf2]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C4Im][NTf2]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C1C4Im][PF6]), 1-butyl-3-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C1C4Pyrro][NTf2]), and butyltrimethylammonium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([N4111][NTf2])) were chosen. Small excess volumes (less than 0.5 cm3 · mol?1 at 298 K) are obtained compared with the molar volumes of the pure components (less than 0.3% of the molar volume of the pure ionic liquid). For all the considered systems, except for {[C1C2Im][EtSO4] + water}, positive excess molar volumes were calculated. Finally, an increase of the non-ideality character is observed for all the systems as temperature increases.  相似文献

A green, straightforward, and novel method for oxidation of thiols to the corresponding disulfides is reported using K 2 S 2 O8 in the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide [(bmim)Br] at 65–70°C.
