Two coordination polymers with 5-aminoisophthalic acid (H2aip), [Ni(μ-aip)(H2O)2(tmeda)]n (1) and {H2dap[Zn2(μ-aip)(μ3-aip)2]?9H2O}n (2) (H2aip = 5-aminoisophthalic acid, tmeda = N,N,N′-N′-tetramethylethylenediamine, dap = 1,3-diaminopropane) have been synthesized. Elemental and thermal analyses, magnetic susceptibilities, IR, AAS, mass and UV–vis spectroscopic studies have been performed to characterize the compounds. Nickel(II) has octahedral geometry by two oxygens of different carboxylates, bidentate, tmeda as bidentate chelating and two water ligands. Zn(II) has tetrahedral geometry by three oxygens of different carboxylate groups and one nitrogen by amine of aip. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system with space group Pccn and 2 in monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/c. Complex 2 exhibits photoluminescence properties in the solid state at room temperature. This study determined the susceptibility patterns of 1 and 2 against bacterial, yeast and mold micro-organisms. Antimicrobial activities were done on 12 different micro-organisms using the micro-dilution method. Tested microbial species were inhibited by 1 with a Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 375–3000 μg mL?1. Compound 2 showed antimicrobial activities against tested micro-organisms with a MIC of 188–1500 μg mL?1. Compound 2 showed antibacterial activity against Legionella pneumophila sg1 375 μg mL?1 (MIC value).  相似文献

The photostabilities and syntheses of 2,2′-bis(o-hydroxyphenyl)-5,5′-bipyrimidine, 6,6′-bis(o-hydroxyphenyl)-3,3′-bipyridine and 3,8-bis(o-hydroxyphenyl)-4,7-phenanthroline are discussed. The syntheses of parent compounds lacking the o-hydroxy groups are also described.  相似文献

Alkoxy substituted spirobifluorene derivatives namely 2,2′,7,7′-tetrabromo-3,6-bis(methoxy)-9,9′spirobifluorene (MSBF), 2,2′,7,7′-tetrabromo-3,6-bis(ethoxy)-9,9′spirobifluorene (ESBF), 2,2′,7,7′-tetrabromo-3,6-bis(butoxy)-9,9′spirobifluorene (BSBF), 2,2′,7,7′-tetrabromo-3,3′,6,6′-tetra(methoxy)-9,9′-spiro-9-silabifluorene (MSSiBF) and their key intermediates have been synthesised successfully. All compounds have been fully characterised by 1H and 13C NMR, FTIR, UV-visible spectroscopy, MS spectrometry. TGA analysis revealed good thermal stability. The systematic investigation on the solubility, thermostability and photophysical property of synthesized compound showed that alkoxy substituted spirobifluorene were unique in rigidity and have wide range of applications in molecular electronics and can be used as building units for optoelectronics material.  相似文献

The excretions/secretions from the maggot of Chrysomyis megacephala Fabricius are traditionally used to treat serious infections in China. In this study, bioassay-guided fractionation led to the isolation of three novel antibacterial compounds (13), including important fluorinated compounds (3 and 5), together with other nine known compounds from 70% methanol extract of C. megacephala. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by NMR spectroscopic analysis and high-resolution mass spectroscopy. The antibacterial activities of the isolated compounds were evaluated using agar disc diffusion method. New compounds 1 and 2 exhibited moderate activity against Bacillus subtilis with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 250 μg mL? 1. The most active compounds 3 and 5 displayed a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with an MIC of 125 μg mL? 1 against G+ and G bacteria. The structure of the above-mentioned novel compounds and their antimicrobial activities are herein reported for the first time from the natural product of insects.  相似文献

Platinum(II) complexes, [Pt(Lx)X2] (16), where X = Br or I and Lx = 2,2′-bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline derivatives (5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (5-Mebpy), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (4-Mebpy), and 5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline (5-NH2phen)) were prepared. The complexes were characterized by the elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, infrared, and multinuclear (1H, 13C and 195Pt) 1-D and 2-D NMR spectroscopies, and by single-crystal X-ray analysis of [Pt(4-Mebpy)I2] (4). All the platinum(II) complexes (16) were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines A2780 and A2780R, and against non-malignant MRC5 cell line. All the complexes were nontoxic up to the 50 μM concentration, although they were found to readily bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA), as determined by spectrophotometric titration (Kb ≈ 107 M?1) and ethidium bromide displacement assay.  相似文献

4-Methyl-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline) (MHPIP) and its complexes [Co(bpy)2MHPIP]3+ (1) (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), [Co(dmb)2MHPIP]3+ (2) (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine), and [Co(phen)2MHPIP]3+ (3) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by UV/VIS, IR, EA, 1H, 13C-NMR, and mass spectra. The binding of the three complexes with calf-thymus-DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated by absorption and emission spectroscopy, DNA-melting techniques, viscosity measurements, and DNA cleavage assay. The spectroscopic data and viscosity results indicate that these complexes bind to CT-DNA via an intercalative mode. The complexes also promote photocleavage of plasmid pBR322 DNA and were screened for antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Intramolecular cycloaddition of [1,1′-binaphthyl]-2,2′-bis(allylamine) Unlike the 1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-bis(allylether) the corresponding [1,1′-binaphthyl]-2,2′-bis(allylamine) (1) upon heating to 230° in mesitylene undergoes thermal decomposition only. However, when 1 is heated in a mixture of 2-methylaminoethanol and water, besides 3 the policyclic ketones 4 and 5 are formed in isolated yields of 28 and 10%, respectively (Scheme 1). Intermediates are the imines corresponding to 4 and 5 which are hydrolysed under the reaction conditions rather than decomposed. The imines are formed by a intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction, in which the double bond of one N-allylgroup reacts with the naphthalene ring of the second half of the molecule. The policyclic ketones 4 and 5 are characterized as acetates 6 and 7 , respectively, and as the acetylated reduced products 11 , and 12 and 13 , respectively. The constitutions of all compounds are derived from spectroscopic data, chiefly from the 1H-NMR. spectra.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of a tetrazine-based catecholamide (CAM) ligand, N,N′-bis(N″-(aminoethyl)-2,3-bis(hydroxy)benzamide)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine-3,6-diamine (5), were investigated. All compounds were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy, 13C NMR spectroscopy, and FTIR spectroscopy. The protonation equilibria of 5 and complexation capacities (log βpqr) of Cd2+, Co2+, and Cu2+ complexes of 5 were evaluated through potentiometric titration and spectrophotometric titration, respectively. Species independent pM value (=?log [M]free) was used to compare metal affinities with the final sequence Cu2+ > Cd2+ > Co2+. Results show that 5 has potential for heavy metal removal.  相似文献

Nine guanidinylated amphiphilic polycarbonates are rationally designed and synthesized. Each polymer has the same biodegradable backbone but different side groups. The influence of the hydrophobic/hydrophilic effect on antimicrobial activities and cytotoxicity is systematically investigated. The results verify that tuning the length of the spacer arm between the cationic guanidine group and the polycarbonate backbone is an efficient design strategy to alter the hydrophobic/hydrophilic balance without changing the cationic charge density. A spacer arm of six methylene units (CH2)6 shows the best antimicrobial activity (minimum inhibitory concentration, MIC = 40 µg mL?1 against Escherichia coli, MIC = 20 µg mL?1 against Staphylococcus aureus, MIC = 40 µg mL?1 against Candida albicans) with low hemolytic activity (HC50 > 2560 µg mL?1). Furthermore, the guanidinylated polycarbonates exhibit the ability to self‐assemble and present micelle‐like nanostructure due to their intrinsic amphiphilic macromolecular structure. Transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering measurements confirm polymer micelle formation in aqueous solution with sizes ranging from 82 to 288 nm.  相似文献

The electrospray tandem mass spectra (ESI-MS/MS) of the three N,N′-bis[(E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]spermidines 1–3 displayed the same fragment-ion signals. These isomers could not be differentiated by ESI-MS/MS, since their fragmentation patterns are similar. (E,E)-N-(3-[15N]Aminopropyl)-3,3′-bis(4- hydroxyphenyl)-N,N′-(butane-1,4-diyl)bis[prop-2-enamide] ([15N(1)])-( 1 ) was synthesized in order to get further information about the fragmentation mechanisms. The comparison of the ESI-MS/MS of 1 and [15N(1)]- 1 revealed a transamidation, the Zip reaction, under mass-spectral conditions of the [ 1 + H]+ ions. Because of this reaction, the three isomers 1–3 could not be distinguished.  相似文献

Thirteen novel bis-1,2,3-triazole derivatives were synthesized under copper (I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of N,N′-(hexane-1,6-diyl)bis(4-methyl-N-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)benzenesulfonamide) with different aryl azides and evaluated their biological activity. All the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, infrared, and elemental analysis and mass spectral studies. The synthesized bis-1,2,3-triazoles were evaluated for their antioxidant activity, and some of them were found to exhibit good to excellent antioxidant activity (IC50: 11.13 ± 1.5 to 98.98 ± 1.7 μM) in comparison with standard references, Trolox (11.73 ± 1.5 μM) and ascorbic acid (3.34 ± 1.8 μM). The bistriazoles also exhibited excellent-to-moderate anti-bacterial activity (MIC: 2.253 to 75 µg mL?1 against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa when compared with streptomycin. N,N′-(hexane-1,6-diyl)bis(N-((1-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl)-4-methyl benzenesulfonamide) has completely cleaved the DNA at a concentration of 100 mg mL?1, and the remaining compounds have partially cleaved the DNA.  相似文献

A dinucleating spacer 1,4-bis(salicylidene)phenylenediamine (SALPHEN) derived from 1,4-phenylenediamine and salicylaldehyde has been synthesized and characterized. The ruthenium(II) sulfoxide derivative of 2,2′-bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline on reaction with this ligand resulted in the formation of eight dinuclear complexes, which were characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, FT-IR, fast atom bombardment-mass spectra, electronic spectroscopy, 1H-NMR, 13C{1H}-NMR, and 2D-NMR spectra (HETCOR). The prepared complexes have two different formulations, [{trans-RuCl2(so)(N–N′)}2(μ-SALPHEN)] and [{cis-RuCl2(so)(N–N′)}2(μ-SALPHEN)], where so?=?dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)/tetramethylene sulfoxide (TMSO), N–N′?=?2,2′-bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline, and SALPHEN?=?1,4-bis(salicylidene)phenylenediamine. Two moles of ruthenium sulfoxide bipyridine precursor were coordinated to the bidentate SALPHEN through nitrogen. All the complexes possess antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli in comparison to Chloramphenicol.  相似文献

Benzoxazinoids (BXs), alkaloids frequently found in Gramineae species, are natural defensives that can potentially be exploited to the development of novel antimicrobial agents. Here, BXs analogs were synthesized from 2-nitrophenol (benzoxazinone series) and 3-hydroxy-2-nitropyridine (pyridoxazinone series) and tested against fungal and bacteria of medical interest. The starting materials were submitted to adequate nucleophilic substitution in order to functionalize of analogs, followed by a reductive cyclization catalyzed by palladium on carbon. Next, the biological assays showed that pyridoxazinone serie has a good antibacterial activity, especially against Enterococcus faecalis (Minimum inhibitory concentration—MIC: 7.8-15.6?μg.mL?1) and Acinetobacter baumannii (MIC 31.25-125?μg.mL?1). Antifungal activity, in turn, was related to compound 2e which showed a MIC of 62.5?μg.mL?1 against Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, and Candida tropicalis. All analogs complied with Lipinski's rules and were predicted to have a low toxicity.  相似文献

Maleic and citraconic anhydrides were reacted with several diamines to obtain a novel class of high temperature resistant bisimides.1–3 The bisimides were characterized by melting points, elemental analysis, UV–Vis, 1H- and 13C-NMR, and mass spectral analysis. The bisimide monomers were then polymerized by the addition process. A poly(amidemaleimide) was also synthesized by reacting maleic anhydride with p-aminobenzhydrazide. The thermal stability of these highly crosslinked poly(bisimide)s were examined by TGA and DTA. A neat bisimide monomer obtained from 2,2′-bis[4(p-aminophenoxy)phenyl] propane with maleic anhydride namely, 2,2′-bis[4-(p-maleimidophenoxy)phenyl]propane was reacted with 2,2′-bis[4(p-aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane by the Michael reaction.4 A fiber glass cloth reinforced laminate was prepared from bismaleimide and amine mixture and the mechanical properties of the test laminate evaluated.  相似文献

Two lead(II)-thiocyanato coordination polymers with 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy) and 4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine (4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy) as chelating ligands were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy, thermal behavior, and X-ray crystallography. These complexes have formulas [Pb(5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy)(NCS)2] n (1) and [Pb(4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy)(NCS)2] n (2). The coordination numbers of PbII in 1 and 2 are four, PbN4, with “stereo-chemically active” electron pairs and hemidirected coordination spheres. Considering Pb···S as weak bonds, 1 and 2 are 1- and 2-D coordination polymers, respectively. The supramolecular features in these complexes are guided/controlled by weak directional intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

The host–guest interaction of symmetrical α,α′,δ,δ′-tetramethyl-cucurbit[6]uril (TMeQ[6]) with the hydrochloride salts of N,N′-bis(4-pyridylmethyl)-1,6-hexanediamine (P6), N,N′-bis(3-pyridyl-methyl)-1,6-hexanediamine (M6) and N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,6-hexanediamine (O6) was investigated via single crystal X-ray diffraction, 1H NMR spectroscopy, electronic absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray diffraction showed that the hexyl moiety of P6 or M6 was incorporated in the cavity of TMeQ[6], while the two pyridylmethyl moieties of O6 were incorporated in the TMeQ[6] cavity in the solid state. The 1H NMR results in aqueous solution revealed that the TMeQ[6]-P6 and TMeQ[6]-M6 host–guest interaction systems produce a kinetic dumbbell-shaped inclusion complex at the initial stage and then an equilibrium pseudorotaxane-shaped inclusion complex as the only product after heating. However, only the pseudorotaxane-shaped inclusion complex was observed for the TMeQ[6]-O6 host–guest interaction system. Aqueous absorption spectrophotometric analysis showed that the dumbbell-shaped inclusion complexes were stable at pH 5.6, had a host–guest ratio of 2:1 and formed quantitatively at ~1011 l2/mol2 for the TMeQ[6]-M6 and TMeQ[6]-O6 systems. The transformation from dumbbell to pseudorotaxane-shaped inclusion complexes for the TMeQ[6]-P6 and TMeQ[6]-M6 host–guest systems yielded activation energies of 59.35 ± 1.55 and 78.7 ± 3.45 kJ/mol, respectively. The pseudorotaxane-shaped inclusion complexes were stable at pH 5.6, had a host–guest ratio of 1:1 and formed quantitatively at ~107 l/mol for the TMeQ[6]-M6 and TMeQ[6]-P6 systems.  相似文献

As a part of ongoing investigation of Acokanthera oppositifolia (Lam.) Codd., four compounds were isolated from its seeds, a new compound; lup-20(29)-en-3β-O-(3′-β-hydroxy) palmitate (1), three known compounds; a triterpene; lupeol (2), a cardiac glycoside; acovenoside A (3) and a sterol; β-sitosterol (4). Their structures were investigated using 1D & 2D- 1H and 13CNMR spectroscopy. Antimicrobial potential of the compounds was evaluated against 10 microorganisms responsible for endocarditis. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the compounds was determined using broth microdilution method. The new compound (1) evidenced significant antibacterial activity especially aganist Pseudomonas aeruginosa with (MIC 7.81 μg/ml). Lupeol (2) exhibited remarkable antimicrobial activity against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Aspergillus fumigates and Candida albicans (MIC 3.9, 0.24 and 3.9 μg/ml, respectively). On the other hand, acovenoside A (3) inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli (MIC 0.98 μg/ml). We herein present the potential of A. oppositifolia as a cardioprotective agent against the microorganisms responsible for endocarditis.  相似文献

Chemical investigation of a marine-derived actinomycete strain Verrucosispora sp. FIM06025 isolated from a marine sponge sample collected from the East China Sea, resulted in the discovery of two new alkaloids, (2-(hydroxymethyl)-3-(2-(hydroxymethyl)-3-methylaziridin-1-yl) (2-hydroxyphenyl) methanone (1) and 2-(1-hydroxyethyl)-3,4-dihydrobenzo [f] [1,4]oxazepin-5(2H)-one (2). The structures of compounds 1 and 2 were determined by the detailed analysis of 1D, 2D NMR and HR-TOF-MS data, along with literature data analysis. The bioefficacy investigations revealed that compound 1 exhibited a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration) values ranging from 3.4 to 200?μg·mL?1 against H. pylori, P. aeroginosa, A. baumanniiin, E. coli and K. pneumonia, S. aureus, C. albicans and E. faecium, however, compound 2, up to 200?μg/mL, displayed no antibacterial activity against these bacteria.  相似文献

The reaction of 2-nitro-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (H2nbdc) and 2,2′-bipyridine (2,2′-bipy) with CuCl2 under hydrothermal conditions gives rise to a cyclic dimer [Cu(nbdc)(2,2′-bipy)(H2O)]2 · 2H2O (1). X-ray structural analysis revealed that 1 crystallizes in a monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 7.3801(13) Å, b = 15.305(3) Å, c = 16.333(3) Å, β = 92.951(4)°, V = 1842.5(6) Å3, and Z = 2. Compound 1 represents the first cyclic dimeric example with 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate or its derivatives, in which two carboxylates of the nbdc are nearly perpendicular due to the steric effect by the nitro group. Compound 1 also displays strong fluorescent emission in the solid state.  相似文献
