This report describes the fluoride-mediated homocoupling of aryl iodides and bromides catalyzed by palladium(0). This coupling protocol is tolerant of electron-donating and electron-withdrawing substitutents on the aryl halide, as well as ortho substitution. Optimum reaction conditions entail 10 mol% Pd(dba)2, 3 equiv of tetrabutyl ammonium fluoride (TBAF) in DMF at 90 °C.  相似文献

Through the use of PdCl(dppb)(C3H5) as a catalyst, a range of aryl bromides and chlorides undergoes coupling via C-H bond activation/functionalization reaction with oxazole or benzoxazole in good yields. This air-stable catalyst can be used at low loadings with several substrates. Surprisingly, better results in terms of substrate/catalyst ratio were obtained in several cases using electron-excessive aryl bromides than with the electron-deficient ones. This seems to be mainly due to the relatively low thermal stability of some of the 2-arylbenzoxazoles formed with electron-deficient aryl halides. With these substrates, in order to obtain higher yields of product, the reactions had to be performed at a lower temperature (100-120 °C) using a larger amount of catalyst. On the other hand, in the presence of the most stable products, the reactions were performed at 150 °C using as little as 0.2 mol% catalyst. Arylation of benzoxazole with heteroaryl bromides also gave the coupling products in moderate to high yields using 0.2-5 mol% catalyst. With this catalyst, electron-deficient aryl chloride such as 4-chlorobenzonitrile, 4-chloroacetophenone or 2-chloronitrobenzene have also been used successfully.  相似文献

N-Amido imidazolium salt was employed as a ligand in the palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides and thiols, and showed good activity in the formation of thioether. The best combination for the coupling with aryl bromides was N-amido imidazolium salt 2 and NaHMDS, and that for the coupling with aryl iodides was N-amido imidazolium salt 1 and KOtBu. The coupling reactions were conducted in the presence of Pd(OAc)2 (1 mol %) in DMSO at 80 °C for 12 h.  相似文献

The complex [PdCl2(P-N)] containing the basic and sterically demanding 8-(di-tert-butylphosphinooxy)quinoline ligand (P-N) is a highly efficient catalyst for the coupling of phenylboronic acid with aryl bromides or aryl chlorides. The influence of solvent and base has been investigated, the highest rates being observed at 110 °C in toluene with K2CO3 as the base. With aryl bromides the reaction rates are almost independent on the electronic properties of the para aryl substituents, on the contrary, reduced reaction rates are observed when bulky substituents are present on the substrate. Nevertheless the coupling of 2-bromo-1,3,5-trimethylbenzene with phenylboronic acid can be carried out to completion in 2 h using a catalyst loading of 0.02 mol %. Under optimized reaction conditions, turnover frequencies as high as 1900 h−1 can be obtained in the coupling of 4-chloroacetophenone with phenylboronic acid; lower reaction rates are obtained with substrates bearing EDG substituents on the aryl group.  相似文献

A palladium complex bearing 1,2-diphenyl-3,4-diphosphinidenecyclobutene ligand (DPCB) has been used to facilitate the catalytic cyanation of aryl bromides. A series of substituted benzonitriles was prepared in good to high yields by the treatment of the corresponding aryl bromides with Zn(CN)2 in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone in the presence of 2-4 mol % catalyst at 100 °C for 16 h.  相似文献

Air-stable Pd(II) catalysts with cryptand-22 ligand was easily handled in atm air at room temperature for Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of aryl bromides with arylboronic acids both containing electron-withdrawing and electron-donating groups. Generally, reactions proceeded fast to completion in 2 h to give high product yields. Our Pd(OAc)2/cryptand-22 catalyst is unique, since the reaction solution remained yellow during reaction period and air-stable without formation of Pd black as usually observed for ordinary simple amine ligands.  相似文献

An efficient procedure for the direct C-H arylation of electron-poor aromatics such as pyrazine and pyridine with aryl bomides is described. In the presence of catalytic amount of Cy3PAuCl and with the use of t-BuOK as base, pyrazine undergoes the direct C-H arylation with aryl bromides at 100 °C, and the yields of the arylated products depend on the nature of aryl bromides. In the cases of electron-rich aryl bromides used, the arylated pyrazines can be obtained in good to high yields. For electron-poor aryl bromides, the addition of AgBF4 is the crucial point to accelerate the coupling reaction to give the arylated products in moderate yields. Pyridine also reacts with electron-rich aryl bromides catalyzed by Cy3PAuCl to give a mixture of arylated regioisomers in moderate yield. However, in order to realize the direct C-H arylation of pyridine with electron-poor aryl bromides, the addition of silver salt as additive and a milder reaction temperature (60 °C) are required.  相似文献

The general procedure for the rhodium-catalyzed cross-coupling of thiols with aryl iodides is described. The catalytic system consists of 5 mol % of [RhCl(cod)]2 and 10 mol % of PPh3 as a ligand. A variety of aryl iodides reacted with thiols, giving aryl thioethers in good to excellent yields. It is important to note that the deactivated aryl iodides such as 4-iodoanisole is worked smoothly to provide the corresponding aryl thioethers in excellent yields. Functional groups such as free-amines, chloro, are all tolerated under the employed reaction conditions.  相似文献

Diaryliodonium salts are shown to undergo rapid, fluoride-promoted aryl exchange reactions at room temperature in acetonitrile. Aryl exchange is shown to be exquisitely sensitive to the concentration of fluoride ion in solution; fast exchange is observed as the fluoride concentration approaches a stoichiometric amount at 50 mM substrate concentration. The reaction is slowed, but not halted if benzene is the solvent, indicating that free fluoride ion or a four-coordinate anionic I(III) species may be responsible for the exchange. The fluoride-promoted aryl exchange reaction is general and allows direct measurement of the relative stabilities of diaryliodonium salts featuring different aryl substituents. The aryl exchange reaction may be of practical use for the preparation of hitherto inaccessible diaryliodonium salts, thus it also has implications for labeling radiotracers for molecular imaging with 18F-fluoride (t1/2 = 109.7 min).  相似文献

For polymer electrolyte membrane fuel membrane cell (PEMFC) applications, the effect of electron-withdrawing groups on the properties of sulfonated poly(arylene ether) (SPE) ionomer membranes was investigated. A series of poly(arylene ether)s containing fluorenyl groups and electron-withdrawing groups (sulfone, nitrile, or fluorine) was synthesized, which were sulfonated with chlorosulfonic acid using a flow reactor to obtain the title ionomers. The ionomers had high molecular weight (M> 77 kDa, Mw > 238 kDa) and gave tough, ductile membranes by solution casting. The ion exchange capacity (IEC) of the membranes ranged from 1.6 to 3.5 mequiv/g as determined by titration. The electron-withdrawing groups did not appear to affect the thermal properties (decomposition temperature higher than 200 °C). The presence of nitrile groups, especially at positions meta to the ether linkages, improved the oxidative stability of the SPE membranes, while it led to a deterioration of the hydrolytic stability. The perfluorinated biphenylene groups were effective in providing high mechanical strength with reasonable dimensional change, probably due to a somewhat decreased water absorbability. The SPE membrane containing sulfone groups showed the highest proton conductivity (10−3-10−1 S/cm) at 20-93% RH (relative humidity) and 80 °C. The nitrile-containing SPE membrane showed smaller apparent activation energies for oxygen and hydrogen permeability and is thus considered to be a possible candidate for applications in PEMFCs.  相似文献

The palladium catalyzed alkynylation of aryl halides (Sonogashira reaction) has been achieved in pure water without any additives or phase transfer catalysts. The reaction, which requires only 0.5 mol % of Pd(PPh3)4 catalyst, is remarkably fast (30 min at 70 °C) producing high yields of the aryl alkyne products.  相似文献

Aryl M(κ1-Ar)(CO)nP5−n [M = Mn, Re; Ar = C6H5, 4-CH3C6H4; n = 2, 3; P = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2, PPh2OEt] and Re(κ1-C6H5)(CO)3[Ph2PO(CH2)3OPPh2] complexes were prepared by allowing hydrides MH(CO)nP5−n to react first with triflic acid and then with the appropriate aryl lithium (LiAr) compounds. The complexes were characterized spectroscopically (IR and 1H, 31P, 13C NMR) and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of Re(κ1-C6H5)(CO)3[Ph2PO(CH2)3OPPh2] derivative. Protonation reaction of the aryl complexes with HBF4 · Et2O lead to free hydrocarbons Ar-H and the unsaturated [M(CO)nP5−n]+ cations, separated as solids in the case of [Re(CO)3P2]BF4 derivatives.  相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed carbonylations of aryl triflates with a range of nucleophiles using Mo(CO)6 as a solid CO source were explored. The reactions proceeded smoothly providing moderate to good yields of the corresponding aryl amides, esters, or acylsulfonamides after only 20 min of microwave irradiation. The acyl transfer reagent 4-dimethylaminopyridine was found to promote some of the more difficult transformations.  相似文献

A combination of Pd2(dba)3·CHCl3 (0.5 mol %) and commercially available, air-stable phosphonium salt [(t-Bu)3PH]BF4 (1.4 mol %) in a presence of Zn powder and Zn(CN)2 as the cyanide source comprises an extremely efficient catalyst system for the cyanation of a diverse array of aryl bromides, at room temperature. This result emerged from an experimental strategy that combines the advantages of parallel, automated experimentation with the design of experiments (DOE) for the effective definition of an optimal set of reaction conditions.  相似文献

The fluorogenic derivatization method for aryl halide was developed for the first time. This method was based on the formation of fluorescent biphenyl structure by Suzuki coupling reaction between aryl halides and non-fluorescent phenylboronic acid (PBA). We measured the fluorescence spectra of the products obtained by the reaction of p-substituted aryl bromides (i.e., 4-bromobenzonitrile, 4-bromoanisole, 4-bromobenzoic acid ethyl ester and 4-bromotoluene) with PBA in the presence of palladium (II) acetate as a catalyst. The significant fluorescence at excitation maximum wavelength of 275–290 nm and emission maximum wavelength of 315–350 nm was detected in all the tested aryl bromides. This result demonstrated that non-fluorescent aryl bromides could be converted to the fluorescent biphenyl derivatives by the coupling reaction with non-fluorescent PBA. We tried to determine these aryl bromides by HPLC-fluorescence detection with pre-column derivatization. The aryl bromide derivatives were detected on the chromatogram within 30 min without any interfering peak derived from the reagent blank. The detection limits (S/N = 3) for aryl bromides were 13–157 fmol/injection.  相似文献

Two new air-stable palladium(II) complexes containing a N4-Schiff-base ligand have been synthesized and investigated as catalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura reactions. The binuclear complex 2 has proven to be an excellent catalyst for additive-free Suzuki-Miyaura reactions of aryl bromides in neat water at room temperature and aryl chlorides in aqueous-glycerol at 80 °C. Satisfactory to excellent yields of biaryls are obtained with a wide range of substrates with relatively low loading of catalyst.  相似文献
