Sharp bounds for singular values of fractional integral operators

From the results of Dostanic [M.R. Dostanic, Asymptotic behavior of the singular values of fractional integral operators, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 175 (1993) 380-391] and V? and Gorenflo [Kim Tuan V?, R. Gorenflo, Singular values of fractional and Volterra integral operators, in: Inverse Problems and Applications to Geophysics, Industry, Medicine and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, 1995, Ho Chi Minh City Math. Soc., Ho Chi Minh City, 1995, pp. 174-185] it is known that the jth singular value of the fractional integral operator of order α>0 is approximately (πj)^−α for all large j. In this note we refine this result by obtaining sharp bounds for the singular values and use these bounds to show that the jth singular value is (πj)^−α[1+O(j⁻¹)].     

On the monotonicity of some singular integral operators

The paper deals with the monotonicity of singular integral operators of the form where is the Cauchy singular integral operator on the interval (0,1) of the real axis and q is a power or logarithmic function. Under suitable assumptions, such singular integral operators are proved to be monotone and maximal monotone in spaces with power weights. On the distribution singular values of Toeplitz matrices

We prove a second order formula concerning distribution of singular values of Toeplitz matrices in some cases when conditions of the H. Widom Theorem are not satisfied.

     

Multilinear singular integral operators with generalized kernels and their multilinear commutators

In this paper, the authors study a class of multilinear singular integral operators with generalized kernels and their multilinear commutators with BMO functions. By establishing the sharp maximal estimates, the boundedness on product of weighted Lebesgue spaces and product of variable exponent Lebesgue spaces is obtained, respectively. Moreover, the endpoint estimate of this class of mutilinear singular integral operators is also established. These results can improve the corresponding known results of classical multilinear Calderón–Zygmund operators and multilinear Calder′on–Zygmund operators with Dini type kernels.     

Some properties of singular integral operators over an open curve

In this paper, the stability properties, the endpoint behavior and the invertible relations of Cauchy-type singular integral operators over an open curve are discussed. If the endpoints of the curve are not special, this type of operators are proved to be stable. At the endpoints, either the singularity or smoothness of the operators are exactly described. And the function sets or spaces on which the operators are invertible as well as the corresponding inverted operators are given. Meanwhile, some applications for the solution of Cauchy-type singular integral equations are illustrated. We consider the multidimensional integral operators with bihomogeneous kernel invariant under all rotations. For truncated operators of the type we describe the limit behavior of the set of singular values and in the case when these operators are selfadjoint we describe the limit behavior of their spectra.
