We propose an infrared cut-off for the holographic dark energy, which besides the square of the Hubble scale also contains the time derivative of the Hubble scale. This avoids the problem of causality which appears using the event horizon area as the cut-off, and solves the coincidence problem.  相似文献

This paper addresses a central question of contemporary theoretical physics: Can a unified account be provided for the known forces of nature? The issue is brought into focus by considering the recently revived Kaluza-Klein approach to unification, a program entailing dimensional transformation through cosmogony. First it is demonstrated that, in a certain sence, revitalized Kaluza-Klein theory appears to undermine the intuitive foundations of mathematical physics, but that this implicit consequence has been repressed at a substantial cost. A fundamental reformulation of the Kaluza-Klein strategy is then undertaken, one that casts it within a new intuitive context. This is followed by a provisional application of the suggested approach to the specific problem of cosmological change. The paper concludes by exploring the far-reaching epistemological implications of the “neo-intuitive” proposal set forth.  相似文献

本文报道了对87Rb冷原子云聚焦的微磁透镜实验.磁透镜的核心部件是一个半径为2mm的微型线圈.当冷原子云沿线圈轴向运动到线圈附近时,线圈产生的非均匀磁场会对原子云实现纵向压缩.在线圈电流加载时间为10ms的情况下,原子云纵向尺寸随线圈电流增加先表现为会聚趋势;在某一电流值(0.9A)之后,表现为扩散趋势.与不加载线圈电流的情形相比较,电流为0.9A时的冷原子云纵向尺寸缩小了一个多量级,透镜焦距约为1.3mm.通过同时调节线圈电流的大小和作用时间,可实现对透镜焦距的调节.同时用数值模拟方法模拟了实验过程,模拟结果与实验结果基本符合.  相似文献

We propose an experiment which could be performed by slightly modifying the experimental set up based on a neutron interferometer and used for the verification of the spin-state superposition law. A novel all-fiber refractometer sensor is proposed, which is based on multimode interference in the multimode fiber core section sandwiched between two single-mode fibers. A wide-angle beam propagation method in the cylindrical coordinate is employed as the modeling tool for simulation and design of the proposed refractometer sensor. The design for a refractometer is presented that shows that the refractometer would have an estimated resolution of 5.4 x 10(-5) for refractive indices from 1.33 to 1.45 and of 3.3 x 10(-5) for refractive indices from 1.38 to 1.45 through the choice of an appropriate length of the multimode fiber core section.  相似文献
