The results of calculations of the total log (t)-quantities for decays of neutron-deficit nuclei and strength functions of (n, p) transitions are presented. Optical spectroscopy and EPR are employed to study a β-PbF2 crystal doped with Yb3+ ions. The presence of only one paramagnetic center, the Yb3+ ion with cubic symmetry, is established. Its optical lines are identified, the empirical system of energy levels is constructed, and the phenomenological crystal field potential is determined. The information on the phonon spectrum of the β-PbF2 crystal is obtained from the electron-vibrational structure of the optical absorption and luminescence spectra.  相似文献

The allowed Gamow-Teller β-decay information of Li,Be,B,C,and N isotopes under the frame work of nuclear shell model is calculated herein.Theoretical results of Q values,half-lives,excitation energies,log ft values,branching fractions,and β-delayed proton/neutron emission probabilities are tabulated and compared with experimental data.The deviations from the observations are also analyzed.The 11Be nucleus is well known for its anomaly ground state Jπ=1/2+.Thus,we compared the theoretical energy levels with the experimental data and the agreements for low excitation states are consistent.The quenching factor is also evaluated and discussed.  相似文献

Er3+ and Dy3+ codoped tellurite glasses have been synthesized. Five emission bands in the PL spectrum under 325 nm pumping were observed. Three of them correspond to Er3+ and the other two correspond to Dy3+, respectively. The PL spectrum revealed that the intensity of Dy3+ characteristic emission was enhanced as Er3+ concentration increased while keeping Dy3+ concentration constant. Due to small mismatch between the energy level of Er3+:4F7/2 and Dy3+:4F9/2 resonant energy was possibly transferred between them. This process can give rise to an enhancement of the PL intensity of 484 and 574 nm from Dy3+. The PL spectra of these glasses cover the blue, green and red wavelength range and the intensities of those emission bands could be controlled by adjusting the concentration of relevant rare-earth ions. These glasses with the controllable CIE coordinates might be a potential candidate for the widely realistic application such as solid-state white lighting and multicolor display.  相似文献

Predictions are made for the spectra associated with the (πh 11/2) n configuration whenn=4, 5 and 6. Since 64 146 Gd82 actsas if it is a closed shell, these states are expected to be low-lying in the nuclei 68 150 Er82, 69 151 Tm82 and 70 152 Yb82. The residualh 11/2 interaction is taken from the experimental spectrum of 66 148 Dy82 and it is shown that this conserves seniority to a high degree. Arguments are given as to why configuration mixing may be hard to detect from a study of the energy levels alone. TheM1 selection rule and the number dependence of theE2 transition rates within the identical nucleonh 11/2 configuration are discussed and it is pointed out that seniority isomers should be seen in these nuclei. This prediction provides a stringent test of the configuration assignment. Formulae are given and estimates are made for the energies of theπg 7/2 andπd 5/2-hole states.  相似文献

The β-delayed proton decay of 147Er is studied experimentally using the 58 Ni+92Mo reaction at a beam energy of 383 MeV. Based on a He-jet apparatus coupled with a tape transport system, the β-delayed proton radioactivities both from the vδl/2 ground state and the vh11/2 isomer in 147 Er are identified by proton-7 coincidence measurements. By analyzing the time distribution of the 4+ → 2+-γ transition in the grand-daughter nucleus 146Dy, a half-life of 1.6 ± 0.2s is determined for the Vh11/2 isomer in 147 Er. The half-life for the ground state of 147Er is estimated to be 3.2±1.2 s.  相似文献

Laser oscillation around 1.6 μm was realised at room temperature for low-doped Er:YVO4 crystals (0.5 at % and 1 at %) as well as for Er(1 at %), Yb(5 at %):YVO4 crystal in continuous-wave mode. The maximum slope of the input–output curve was about 19% (vs. absorbed power) for Er(0.5 at %):YVO4. The laser oscillation was discretely tunable in the spectral range between 1531 and 1604 nm. Energy storage and heat deposition in Cr,Yb,Er co-doped phosphate glass were reported. A model based on rate equations was used to determine the energy storage from the free-oscillating output energy characteristics. The heat deposition was calculated by measuring the temperature rise of the glass rod. The results provided important information for the glass operating in Q-switched mode, and also for calculating the temperature profiles and cooling requirements of the glass under single shot and repetitive pulsed conditions.  相似文献

The β-decay of mass-separated 150Pr has been studied resulting in a considerably improved level scheme for 150Nd. Particular care has been taken to evaluate the γ-ray branching ratios from the 2+ levels of the β- and γ-bands since the moment of inertia of the β-band in 150Nd deviates considerably from the systematics of the N = 90 isotones. The deduced relative B(E2) values from the β-band are in keeping with a relatively small deformation for this band.  相似文献

The absorption spectra of radiation-colored CaF2, SrF2, and BaF2 crystals activated by trivalent Pr, Sm, Нo, Er, Tm, and Yb (rare-earth, RE) ions are studied. It is shown that ionizing radiation reduces the impurity ions to the divalent state. The temperature resistance of divalent RE ions of radiation-colored CaF2 crystals correlates with the chemical stability of the compounds with divalent RE ions. The photochromic centers are produced in CaF2-Pr crystal colored by radiation at room temperature and heated to 200°C.  相似文献

The quasi-one dimensional (Q1D) Er3+–Yb3+ codoped single-crystal MoO3 ribbons with width range from 1 to 5 μm, and maximum length about 30 μm have been synthesized by the vapor transport method. The samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, and luminescence spectra. By a 975 nm laser diode (LD) as excitation source, the blue, green and red emission bands centered at about 408, 532, 553 and 657 nm were detected, which attributed to the 2H9/2  4I15/2, 2H11/2, 4S3/2  4I15/2 and 4F9/2  4I15/2 transitions of Er3+, respectively. The three-, and two-photon process was responsible for the blue, green and red up-conversion emissions mechanism for the Q1D Er3+–Yb3+ codoped single-crystal MoO3 ribbons, respectively. The results suggested that the Q1D Er3+–Yb3+ codoped single-crystal MoO3 ribbons will have potential applications in remote bio-imaging and surface enhanced Raman scattering.  相似文献

R2Fe14−xCoxB ferrimagnetic systems (R = Dy and Er) have been synthesized and studied by X-ray and magnetometry methods to determine the lattice parameters, Curie temperatures, saturation magnetizations, anisotropy fields and spin-reorientation temperatures. It has been established that the single phase materials, exhibiting a tetragonal crystal structure, can be formed in the Dy-based system only for x ⩽ 8, while in the Er-based system only for x ⩽ 5. An average increase of the Curie temperature of 58 K per one substituted Fe atom by Co is observed for both systems (x ⩽ 5). A characteristic maximum in composition dependence of the saturation magnetizations at 295 K is found for x ≃ 2, although this is less pronounced than in light rare earth-based Co-substituted systems. The composition dependencies of the anisotropy fields for the Dy-based system at 77 and 295 K show distinct maxima for low Co concentrations and a sharp decrease for higher Co content. The spin-reorientation temperature for the Er-based system is shifted towards higher temperatures by the Co substitution. A brief comparison between ferro- and ferrimagnetic R2Fe14−xCoxB systems is included.  相似文献

Theβ-decays of99Y and99Zr have been investigated with the two recoil fission product separators JOSEF and LOHENGRIN. Half-lives of 1.51±0.08s and 2.1±0.1s respectively, have been determined. Aβ-decaying isomeric state has been observed in99Y. The level schemes of 40 99 Zr59 and 41 99 Nb58 have been established fromγ-ray spectroscopy. Absoluteγ-intensities have been obtained by means of two independent techniques. Halflives of 293±10 ns for the 251.9 keV state and 10.2±1.5 ns for the 614.0 or 667.2 keV level in99Zr have been measured through delayedβ,γ- andγ,γ-coincidence experiments. Values for the spins and parities of the low lying levels in99Zr are proposed in accordance with the systematics of lighter odd Zr isotopes. Spins and partities are assigned to some levels in99Nb fromγ,γ-angular correlation measurements. In this nucleus there is evidence for three-particle configurations of some excited states, where the odd proton is coupled to two neutrons which are in different orbits.  相似文献

The preparation of LiNbO3:Er3+/Yb3+ nanocrystals and their up-conversion properties have been studied. It is demonstrated that polyethyleneimine- (PEI) assisted dispersion procedures allow obtaining stable aqueous LiNbO3:Er3+/Yb3+ powder suspensions, with average size particles well below the micron range (100–200 nm) and the isoelectric point of the suspension reaching values well above pH 7. After excitation of Yb3+ ions at a wavelength of 980 nm, the suspensions exhibit efficient, and stable, IR-to-visible (green and red) up-conversion properties, easily observed by the naked eye, very similar to those of the starting crystalline bulk material.  相似文献

Two-particle excitations in the two-proton nucleus148Dy populated inβ-decay of 10-s 148Ho(6?) were investigated throughγ-ray measurements following on-line mass separation. Theπh 11/2s1/2 two-proton doublet and the (vh 9/2 s 1 2/?1 )5? neutron particle hole configuration are firmly identified, and theπh 11/2 d 5 2/?1 and πh11/2D3/2 multiplets are also observed. The rotations of the 392-966 keV and the 299–966 keV directional correlations of160Dy in the static hyperfine field of DyTb have been measured with high precision. A neutron activated Tb single crystal was used which was magnetized to saturation at 4.2 K by an external magnetic field of 4.5 T applied in the direction of theb-axis. The agreement of both rotations proves that the relaxation of the 4f-shell after the-decay takes less than 10 ps. Yb3+/Er3+-codoped oxychloride germanate glasses have been synthesized by a conventional melting and quenching method. Structural properties were obtained based on Raman-spectra investigation, indicating that PbCl2 plays an important role in the formation of the glass network and has an important influence on the phonon density and the maximum phonon energy. The Judd–Ofelt intensity parameters and quantum efficiencies were calculated based on the Judd–Ofelt theory and lifetime measurements. The enhanced upconversion luminescence intensity of Er3+ with increasing PbCl2 content could not be explained only by the maximum phonon-energy change of the host glasses. For the first time, the effect of PbCl2 addition on phonon density, OH content, and upconversion luminescence in oxychloride glasses has been discussed and evaluated. The results show that the effect of phonon density and OH content on upconversion luminescence in oxychloride glasses is much stronger than that of the decrease of the maximum phonon energy. The possible upconversion luminescence mechanisms have also been estimated and are discussed.  相似文献
