模糊数学专家J.J.Buckley教授来华讲学

应汪浩教授和刘锡荟教授的邀请,美国阿拉巴马大学(University of Alabama at Birminsham) J.J.Buckley教授于1988年9月来华讲学,他先后在电子研究所和国防科技大学作了学术报告。     

A Comment the BooK“continuous-Time Markov Chains” by W.J.Anderson

The book "Continuous-Time Markov Chains" by W. J. Anderson collects a large part of the development in the past thirty years. It is now a popular reference for the researchers on this subject or related fields. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding of the approximating methods, several results in the book are incorrectly stated or proved. Since the results are related to the present author's work, to whom it may be a duty to correct the mistakes in order to avoid further confusion. We emphasize the approximating methods because they are useful in many situations.

一部科学的数学史应当对于数学的基本概念和方法的发生与发展给予总的描述;要说明在数学发展史,和在任何一门科学的历史中一样,人类生产实践所起的基本性作用;要说明数学发展与社会生产力,与技术和其他自然科学发展之间的密切关系;要说明在数学史中反映出来的不同世界观的斗争及其阶级根源。为了达到这样的目的,不但作者应当根据可靠而尽可能全面的史料,而且要掌握正确的科学方法,即辩证唯物论     

A note on “weighting factor extensions for finite multiple objective vector minimization problems”, by D.J. White

In this note we present computational evidence for Conjecture 1 in a paper by D.J. White. Specifically, the conjecture is tested on the example problem in the paper for various size problems. Extensive testing has yet to produce a counter example.     

评J.A.Goldstein著《线性算子半群及应用》一书

线性算子半群的基本理论是由E.Hille,K.Yosida及R.S.Phillips等人创建于本世纪四、五十年代。自那时以来,这一理论又有了许多长足的进展,已从一个年轻的分支成长为一门成熟的学科。同时做为一种有力工具出现在数学及工程技术的许多问题中。特别是近十几年来,由于受应用学科的推动,线性算子半群理论及应用的研究更为活跃。有关专著的出版也日见增多。
