基于~(85)Rb原子5S1/2-5P3/2-5D_(5/2)阶梯型能级系统(780 nm+776 nm),利用高信噪比的电磁诱导透明谱对~(85)Rb原子5D_(5/2)态超精细分裂进行测量.其中,频率校准是通过位相型电光调制器和共焦法布里-珀罗腔共同实现的.通过测量~(85)Rb原子5D′5/2态(F′=5),(F′′=4)及(F′′=3)之间的超精细分裂,我们确定了~(85)Rb原子5D_(5/2)态的磁偶极超精细相互作用常数(A=-(2.222±0.019)MHz)和电四极超精细相互作用常数(B=(2.664±0.130)MHz).  相似文献

We have measured the absolute frequency of the excited state transition 5P(3/2)-4D(5/2) in a (87)Rb atom with a femtosecond frequency comb, utilizing the recently developed spectroscopic technique of the double resonance optical pumping method. The absolute energy level of the 4D(5/2) state is determined by measuring the absolute frequency of the 5S(1/2)-5P(3/2) transition simultaneously. The hyperfine structure constants of the 4D(5/2) state are obtained by using the measured frequency. The magnetic dipole constant, A, is determined to be (-16.747+/-0.010) MHz with an uncertainty reduced 60-fold compared with a previous result. The electric quadrupole constant, B, is determined, for what is to our knowledge the first time, to be (4.149+/-0.059) MHz.  相似文献

The output frequencies of diode lasers spectrally narrowed by optical feedback have been stabilized to hyperfine components of the rotation-vibration transition R (92) 0–15 at λ = 793.23 nm. Laser linewidths of less than 100 kHz and frequency stabilities or 4×10−11 for τ = 1 s (square root of the Allan variance) were measured by beat experiments of two independent lasers. The influence of the iodine pressure on the linewidth and on the positions of the hyperfine components has been investigated. The total hyperfine pattern has been fitted with an effective hyperfine Hamiltonian to a standard deviation of 23 kHz.  相似文献

A new method for laser-frequency stabilization by controlling the pulse setup time is presented. The frequency-stabilization system monitors the pulse setup time continuously, and controls it by adjusting the cavity length. Laser frequency is stabilized to the center of the gain curve when the setup time is the shortest. The system is used to stabilize a radio-frequency-excited waveguide CO 2 laser tuned by grating, and the shift of laser frequency is estimated to be less than ±25 MHz for an extended period. The system has the advantages of compact structure, small volume, and low cost. It can be applied for frequency stabilization of other kinds of pulsed lasers with adjustable cavity.  相似文献

A pulsed Nd:YAG laser at 355nm is used to pump Raman cell filled with D_2, D_2/Ar and D_2/He. With adequately adjusted parameters, the maximum photon conversion efficiency of the first-order Stokes light (S_1, 396.796nm) reaches 33.33% in D_2/Ar and the stability of S_1 in pure D_2 is fairly high, the energy drift being less than 10% when the pump energy drifts in the range of 5%. The conversion efficiency and stability, which are functions of the composition and pressure of the Raman medium and the energy of pump laser, are investigated. The result has been used to optimize the laser transmitter system for a differential absorption lidar system to measure NO_2 concentration profiles.  相似文献

A 197.2 THz (1520.2 nm) ITU-T grid distributed feedback (DFB) diode laser is frequency stabilized at 197.198 THz by 1ocking its second harmonic (SH) signal on the rubidium 5S1/2→7S1/2 two-photon transition at 394.396 THz (760.1 nm). With 100 mW from the DFB diode laser and amplifying by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier, we obtain an SH power of 15 mW using a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide frequency doubler. The stability was 2×10−11 (10 s), corresponding to a frequency variation of 4 kHz at 1520.2 nm. Our scheme provides a compact and high performance frequency reference in the communication band.  相似文献

采用波长锁定878.9 nm激光二极管共振抽运复合Nd:YV04激光晶体,改善热效应的同时提高抽运吸收率,分别以YVO_4和BaWO_4晶体作为拉曼介质,实验和理论研究了晶体性能、谐振腔结构和稳定性对内腔分体式连续波拉曼激光器性能的影响.结果表明:由于内腔分体式拉曼激光器腔长较长,谐振腔稳定性对激光器性能影响较大,选择高增益的拉曼晶体,不仅可获得高拉曼转换效率,还能一定程度上减轻热效应.而平凹腔结构中输出镜的曲率半径越小,拉曼晶体中基频光的功率密度越大,腔的动态稳定区越宽,获得的拉曼激光输出功率更高.最终以30 mm的BaWO_4晶体作为拉曼介质,在抽运功率25.1 W时,获得了3.02 W的连续拉曼激光输出,光-光转换效率达到12%.  相似文献

We have measured hyperfine structure in the 5 2P1/2 state of Rb using a frequency-stabilized diode laser, which is locked to one hyperfine transition, and an acousto-optic modulator, whose frequency is locked to the interval of interest. We check for optical-pumping errors by repeating the measurement at different values of pump power in the saturated-absorption spectrometer. We obtain precise values of the hyperfine constant: A=120.645(5) MHz for 85Rb and A=406.119(7) MHz for 87Rb. The values resolve a large discrepancy between two earlier high-accuracy measurements on this state.  相似文献

The molecular susceptibility and paramagnetic shift of Rb2CoCl4 single crystals grown using the slow evaporation method were measured, and from these experimental results we obtained the transferred hyperfine interaction due to the transfer of spin density from Co2+ ions to Rb+ ions. The transferred hyperfine field was obtained for the ferroelectric, incommensurate, and normal phases. In the case of Rb(I), the transferred hyperfine interaction decreases with increasing temperature in the incommensurate phase, and increases with increasing temperature in the normal phase. The value of Hhf in the incommensurate and normal phases increases abruptly with increasing temperature in the case of Rb(II). These results indicate that the effects due to the transfer of spin density from Co2+ ions to the Rb(I) and Rb(II) ions are large above Ti. In particular, the effect due to the transfer of spin density to Rb(II) ions in the normal phase is very large; the variations with temperature of the transferred hyperfine interactions of the Rb(I) and Rb(II) nuclei are more or less continuous in Tc1 and Ti, and are not affected by the ferroelectric-incommensurate-normal phase transitions.  相似文献

EPR has been performed at 4.2°K on Dy3+ in DyPO4 at 58.25 cm-1, yielding g = 19.55 ± 0.16. The linearity of the Zeeman splitting indicates no perturbation from other levels, and in particular, that there are no levels between 58.25 cm-1 and 23.0 cm-1.  相似文献

We demonstrate a technique to measure hyperfine structure using a frequency-stabilized diode laser and an acousto-optic modulator locked to the frequency difference between two hyperfine peaks. We use this technique to measure hyperfine intervals in the 5 P 3/2 state of 85Rb and obtain a precision of 20 kHz. We extract values for the magnetic-dipole coupling constant A = 25.038(5) MHz and the electric-quadrupole coupling constant B = 26.011(22) MHz. Enhancement spectra of the collision-induced absorption (CIA) in the first overtone region 5000-7000 cm−1 of D2 in D2-N2 were studied at 298 K for a base density of D2 of 73 amagat and for partial densities of N2 in the range 150-370 amagat. The observed spectra were modeled with a total of 1176 components of double vibrational transitions. Binary and ternary absorption coefficients were determined from the integrated absorption of the band. Profile analysis of the spectra was carried out using the Birnbaum-Cohen line-shape function for the individual components of the band, and characteristic line-shape parameters were determined from the analysis. Good agreement was obtained between the experimental and calculated spectral profiles.  相似文献

Absolute line intensities for several individual vibration-rotation transitions in the ν2 bands of HDO and D2O have been determined at room temperature from laboratory spectra recorded with a tunable diode laser spectrometer. Two tunable semiconductor diode lasers operating in the 1250- to 1350- and 1060- to 1140-cm−1 spectral regions have been used in the recording of the data. The saturation absorption technique is applied to the 87Rb 2S1/2 F″ = 2 → 2P3/2 F′ = 1, 2 and 3 transitions to study the effect of velocity changing collisions (VCC). The VCC caused Doppler pedestal increases with argon pressure from 0 to 110 mTorr and decreases with modulation frequencies of 700-3200 Hz. The resonances of the velocity selective, saturated optical pumping are washed out for pressure of 110 mTorr. The magnitude of the Doppler pedestal relative to the homogeneous features, yields a rate for velocity changing collisions of 6.5 ± 0.2 × 10−10 cm3 s−1.  相似文献

A fiber-coupled diode-single-end-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser with an Nd:YVO4 crystal of 0.3 at% doping concentration and 3×3×10 mm3 dimensions was reported. 14.850 W of continuous-wave output power in an M2 factor of 1.12 was obtained under pump power of 27.365 W, with an optical conversion efficiency of 60.49%, and a slope efficiency of 64.5%.  相似文献

Thermal effect control is critical to scale the output power of diode end-pumping solid lasers to several watts up and beyond. Diffusion bonding crystal has been demonstrated to be an effective method to relieve the thermal lens for the end-pumping laser crystal. The temperature distribution and thermal lens in Nd:YVO4/YVO4 composite crystal was numerically analyzed and compared with that of Nd:YVO4 crystal in this paper. The end-pumping Nd:YVO4/YVO4 composite crystal laser was set up and tested with z cavity. The maximum output power of 9.87 W at 1064 nm and 6.14 W at 532 nm were obtained at the pumping power of 16.5 W. The highest optical-optical conversion efficiencies were up to 60% at 1064 nm and 40% at 532 nm, respectively.  相似文献

Passive mode-locking of a diode pumped Yb-doped GdVO4 crystal laser was demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge. The laser was mode-locked at the wavelength of 1019.1 nm and had an average output power of 1.01 W. The mode-locked pulse duration was 3.1 ps. The laser was end-pumped by a high-power fiber pigtailed laser diode bar and the mode-locking was enabled by a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM).  相似文献

Saturated spectroscopy of C2H4 was performed with a CO2 waveguide laser. Seventeen lines were measured with a precision of the order of 200 kHz. On the basis of these data and of a new highly accurate determination of the ground-state rotational constants a better analysis of the ν4, ν7, and ν10 levels was achieved.  相似文献
