Two-layer ZrO2/SiO2 and SiO2/ZrO2 films were deposited on K9 glass substrates by sol–gel dip coating method. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) technique was used to investigate the diffusion of ZrO2/SiO2 and SiO2/ZrO2 films. To explain the difference of diffusion between ZrO2/SiO2 and SiO2/ZrO2 films, porous ratio and surface morphology of monolayer SiO2 and ZrO2 films were analyzed by using ellipsometry and atomic force microscopy (AFM). We found that for the ZrO2/SiO2 films there was a diffusion layer with a certain thickness and the atomic concentrations of Si and Zr changed rapidly; for the SiO2/ZrO2 films, the atomic concentrations of Si and Zr changed relatively slowly, and the ZrO2 layer had diffused through the entire SiO2 layer. The difference of diffusion between ZrO2/SiO2 and SiO2/ZrO2 films was influenced by the microstructure of SiO2 and ZrO2.  相似文献

The studies of ZrO2 and yttrium stabilized ZrO2 nanocrystals luminescence as well as yttrium stabilized single crystal luminescence and induced absorption showed that the intrinsic defects are responsible for luminescence at room temperature. These defects form a quasi-continuum of states in ZrO2 band gap and are the origin of the luminescence spectrum dependence on the excitation energy. Luminescence centers are oxygen vacancies related but not the vacancies themselves. At room temperature, in ZrO2, deep traps for electrons and holes exist. The oxygen vacancies are proposed to be the traps for electrons.  相似文献

The fracture toughness property (K1C) of Si3N4 and ZrO2 engineering ceramics was investigated by means of CO2 and a fibre laser surface treatment. Near surface modifications in the hardness were investigated by employing the Vickers indentation method. Crack lengths and the crack geometry were then measured by using the optical microscopy. A co-ordinate measuring machine was used to investigate the diamond indentations and to measure the lengths of the cracks. Thereafter, computational and analytical methods were employed to determine the K1C. An increase in the K1C of both ceramics was found by the CO2 and the fibre laser surface treatment in comparison to the as-received surfaces. The K1C of the CO2 laser radiated surface of the Si3N4 was over 3% higher in comparison to that of the fibre laser treated surface. This was by softening of the near surface layer of the Si3N4 which comprised of lowering of hardness, which in turn increased the crack resistance. The effects were not similar in ZrO2 ceramic to that of the Si3N4 as the fibre laser radiation in this case had produced an increase of 34% compared to that of the CO2 laser radiation. This occurred due to propagation of lower crack resulting from the Vickers indentation test during the fibre laser surface treatment which inherently affected the end K1C through an induced compressive stress layer. The K1C modification of the two ceramics treated by the CO2 and the fibre laser was also believed to be influenced by the different laser wavelength and its absorption co-efficient, the beam delivery system as well as the differences in the brightness of the two lasers used.  相似文献

A new type of multicoated silica/zirconia/silver (SiO2/ZrO2/Ag) core-shell composite microspheres is synthesized in this paper. In the process, ZrO2-decorated silica (SiO2/ZrO2) core-shell composites were firstly fabricated by the modification of zirconia on silica microspheres through the hydrolysis of zirconium precursor. Subsequently, on SiO2/ZrO2 composite cores, silver nanoparticles were introduced via ultrasonic irradiation and acted as “Ag seeds” for the formation of integrate silver shell by further reduction of silver ions using formaldehyde as reducer. The resulting samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared, energy-dispersive X-ray, and UV-vis spectroscopy, indicating that zirconia and silver layers were successfully coated on the surfaces of silica microspheres.  相似文献

The impact of the ZrO2/La2O3 film thickness ratio and the post deposition annealing in the temperature range between 400 °C and 600 °C on the electrical properties of ultrathin ZrO2/La2O3 high-k dielectrics grown by atomic layer deposition on (1 0 0) germanium is investigated. As-deposited stacks have a relative dielectric constant of 24 which is increased to a value of 35 after annealing at 500 °C due to the stabilization of tetragonal/cubic ZrO2 phases. This effect depends on the absolute thickness of ZrO2 within the dielectric stack and is limited due to possible interfacial reactions at the oxide/Ge interface. We show that adequate processing leads to very high-k dielectrics with EOT values below 1 nm, leakage current densities in the range of 0.01 A/cm2, and interface trap densities in the range of 2-5 × 1012 eV−1 cm−2.  相似文献

La2O3 grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) and thermally grown GeO2 are used to establish effective electrical surface passivations on n-type (1 0 0)-Ge substrates for high-k ZrO2 dielectrics, grown by ALD at 250 °C substrate temperature. The electrical characterization of MOS capacitors indicates an impact of the Ge-surface passivation on the interfacial trap density and the frequency dependent capacitance in the inversion regime. Lower interface trap densities can be obtained for GeO2 based passivation even though a chemical decomposition of the oxidation states occur during the ALD of ZrO2. As a consequence the formation of a ZrGeOx compound inside the ZrO2 matrix and a decline of the interfacial GeO2 are observed. The La2O3 passivation provides a stable amorphous lanthanum germanate phase at the Ge interface but also traces of Zr germanate are indicated by X-ray-Photoelectron-Spectroscopy and Transmission-Electron-Microscopy.  相似文献

A novel long-lasting afterglow phosphor ZrO2:Ti is prepared by the conventional solid-stated method and their luminescent properties are investigated. A bluish white strong and broad emissive band, which is attributed to originate from the recombination of electrons trapped by F+ centers and the holes created in Valence band, is observed under 254 nm UV irradiation. The identical color long afterglow, which lasts about 1 h, is found in the ZrO2:Ti phosphor after removing the 254 nm UV light. The mechanism of the long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) has been discussed based on the thermoluminescence (TL) results. The replacement of Zr by Ti produces more anion vacancies, resulting in the enhanced photoluminescence (PL) and LLP of ZrO2:Ti sample. These results indicate that ZrO2:Ti phosphor has potential promising applications.  相似文献

Because of its biocompatibility, superelasticity and shape memory characteristics, NiTi alloys have been gaining immense interest in the medical field. However, there is still concern on the corrosion resistance of this alloy if it is going to be implanted in the human body for a long time. Titanium is not toxic but nickel is carcinogenic and is implicated in various reactions including allergic response and degeneration of muscle tissue. Debris from wear and the subsequent release of Ni+ ions due to corrosion in the body system are fatal issues for long-term application of this alloy in the human body.This paper reports the corrosion and wear properties of laser surface modified NiTi using Mo and ZrO2 as surface alloying elements, respectively. The modified layers which are free from microcracks and porosity, act as both physical barrier to nickel release and enhance the bulk properties, such as hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The electrochemical performance of the surface modified alloy was studied in Hanks’ solution. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was measured.  相似文献

Ni2+-doped ZrO2 precursor fibers were prepared via sol-gel technique by dry-spinning method and then heat-treated at different temperatures. The surface of the fibers is smooth with uniform diameter and no cracks have been observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The emission intensity reaches a maximum value at 1 mol% Ni2+ because of the concentration quenching. The photoluminescence (PL) relative intensity is apparently intensifying with increasing temperature before 700 °C due to the crystallinity of the ZrO2 lattice improvement. The PL results show that the typical emission center is at 510 nm excited at 315 nm.  相似文献

Three Cu/ZnO/ZrO2/Al2O3 methanol reforming catalysts were investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The catalysts which contained ZrO2 from a monoclinic nanoparticle ZrO2 precursor exhibit both a higher activity toward the methanol steam reforming reaction and a lower CO production rate compared to catalysts composed of an XRD-amorphous ZrO2 produced by impregnation using a Zr(NO3)2 precursor. The presence of a monoclinic phase appears to result in an increased charge transfer between the Zr and Cu species, as evidenced by a relatively electron-rich ZrO2 phase and a partially oxidized Cu species on reduced catalysts. This electron deficient Cu species is more reactive toward the methanol reforming reaction and partially suppresses CO formation through the reverse water gas shift or methanol decomposition reactions.  相似文献

Sol-gel (ZrO2/SiO2)12 ZrO2 films were prepared by spin coating method. The reflectivity spectrum of the films was measured with a Lambda 900 spectrometer. In order to investigate laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) characteristic of highly reflective films, one-layer ZrO2 and SiO2 films, two-layer ZrO2/SiO2 and SiO2/ZrO2 films were also prepared by spin coating method. LIDT of each film was measured. Damage morphology after laser irradiation was characterized by optical microscopy (Nikon E600K). The experimental results showed that the reflectivity of (ZrO2/SiO2)12 ZrO2 film at 1064 nm and 355 nm wavelength is 99.7%. The LIDT results decreases as the number of layer of films increases. All the films have similar damage morphology. The experimental results are explained by the different temperature profiles of the films.  相似文献

Theory has predicted that high temperature ferromagnetism (FM) should be found in cubic fake-diamonds, Mn-doped ZrO2. Experimentally, it is shown that Mn-doped ZrO2 ceramics are not ferromagnetic, but the nanosized Mn-doped ZrO2 thin films grown on LaAlO3 substrates can be ferromagnets with TC above 400 K. The largest saturated magnetic moment (Ms) is huge as of about 230 emu/cm3 for the Mn0.05Zr0.95O2 films, and it decreases as the Mn content increases. The intrinsic FM is strongly associated with the cubic structure of Mn-doped ZrO2, and the Mn–Mn interactions via oxygen intermediates are important. No electrical conductivity is observed. Mn-doped ZrO2 thin films can be truly considered as excellent candidates for spintronic applications.  相似文献

ZrO2:Tb3+ and BaZrO3:Tb3+ powders are prepared by combustion synthesis method and the samples were further heated to 500, 700 and 1000 °C to improve the crystallinity of the materials. The structure and morphology of materials have been examined by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectra and scanning electron microscopy. It is remarkable that all the samples of ZrO2:Tb3+ and BaZrO3:Tb3+ have similar morphology. These images exhibited homogeneous aggregates of varying shapes and sizes, which are composed of a large number of small cuboids and broken cuboids. The cuboids and broken cuboids size of all the samples are less than 0.5 μm. Photoluminescence for both materials increases with increase of temperature and found maximum for the samples heated to 1000 °C with 5 mole% doping of Tb3+ ions. Luminescence is almost double for the zirconia compared to that of barium-zirconate.  相似文献

This paper studies numerically the thermo-mechanical effects of ZrO2 thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) irradiated by a high-intensity pulsed ion beam in consideration of the surface structure.Taking the deposited energy of ion beams in TBCs as the source term in the thermal conduction equation,the distribution of temperature in TBCs was simulated.Then,based on the distribution,the evolution of thermal stress was calculated by the finite element method.The results show that tensile radial stress formed at the valley of TBC surfaces after irradiation by HIPIB.Therefore,if cracks happen,they must be at valleys instead of peaks.As for the stress waves,no matter whether through peak or valley position,tensile and compressive stresses are present alternately inside TBCs along the depth direction,and the strength of stress decreases with time.  相似文献

Pulsed laser assisted removal of uranium dioxide and thorium dioxide particulates from stainless steel surface have been studied using a TEA CO2 laser. Decontamination efficiency is measured as a function of laser fluence and number of pulses. Threshold fluence for the removal of UO2 particulates has been found to be lower than that required for the removal ThO2 particulates. Usage of a ZnSe substrate, that is transparent to the laser wavelength used here, enabled us to decouple the cleaning effect arising out of absorption in the particulates from that in the substrate and has contributed towards understanding the mechanism responsible for cleaning. The experimental observations are also corroborated by simple theoretical calculations.  相似文献

ZrO2/SiO2多层膜由相同沉积条件下的电子束蒸发方法制备而成, 通过改变多层膜中高(ZrO2)、低(SiO2)折射率材料膜厚组合周期数的方法,研究了沉积 在熔石英和BK7玻璃 基底上多层膜中残余应力的变化. 用ZYGO光学干涉仪测量了基底镀膜前后曲率半径的变化, 并确定了薄膜中的残余应力. 结果发现,该多层膜中的残余应力为压应力,随着薄膜中膜厚 组合周期数的增加,压应力值逐渐减小. 而且在相同条件下,石英基底上所沉积多层膜中的 压应力值要小于BK7玻璃基底上所沉积多层膜中的压应力值. 用x射线衍射技术测量分析了膜 厚组合周期数不同的ZrO2/SiO2多层膜微结构,发现随着周期数增 加,多层膜的结晶程 度增强. 同时多层膜的微结构应变表现出了与所测应力不一致的变化趋势,这主要是由多层 膜中,膜层界面之间复杂的相互作用引起的. 关键词: 2/SiO2多层膜')" href="#">ZrO2/SiO2多层膜 残余应力 膜厚组合周期数  相似文献

The radiation effects induced effects by electron beam (EB) treatment on the catalytic activity of Ni/γ-Al2O3 were studied for the carbon dioxide reforming of methane with different EB energy and absorbed radiation dose. Transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to determine the change in structure and surface states of Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalyst before and after the EB treatment. Higher energy EB treatment is useful for increasing the proportion of the active sites (such as Ni0 and NiAl2O4-phase) on the surface. The increase of Ni/Al-ratio indicates that the Ni dispersion on the surface increased with the EB-treatment, resulting in an increase of the active sites, which leads to improving the catalytic activity. XPS measurement also showed a decrease of the surface carbon with EB dose. The maximum 20% increase in the conversion of CO2/CH4-mixture into CO/H2 gas was observed for the catalyst treated with 2 MeV energy and 600 kGy dose of EB relative to untreated.  相似文献

Nanometric yttria (8 mol%)-stabilized zirconia powders were hydrothermally synthesized at 110 °C for 7 days in the presence of dilute (0.20 M) or concentrated (2.0 M) solutions of (KOH+K2CO3) mineralizer. Zirconia xerogel, crystalline Y(OH)3, crystalline Y2O3 and a xerogel of coprecipitated (Y–Zr) hydroxide were used as starting materials. Setting the content of yttria constant and equal to 8 mol%, three types of mixtures were tested. Zirconia xerogel in mixture with crystalline Y2O3, zirconia xerogel in mixture with crystalline Y(OH)3 and, finally, a xerogel of coprecipitated (Y–Zr) hydroxide were hydrothermally treated.The different characteristics of the resulting powders are discussed in terms of both the mineralizer concentration and the type of Y-based precursor used in the hydrothermal treatments, respectively.Weakly agglomerated cubic ZrO2 powders with primary particles bigger in size and without any preliminary treatment show better performances when they are directly sintered at 1500 °C.  相似文献

采用共沉淀法制备了纳米晶ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+发光粉体.所制备的粉体室温下具有Er3+离子特征荧光发射,主发射在绿光,其中位于547 nm、560 nm的绿光最强,并得出稀土离子与基质之间有能量传递.对不同煅烧温度下的样品研究表明:因不同温度下所制得的样品晶相不同.研究了纳米晶ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+及ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+/Yb3+的上转换发光,并分析了上转换的跃迁机制.发现ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+的绿光为双光子过程,而ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+、Yb3+的上转换光谱中,红光和绿光也为双光子过程,而极弱的蓝光为三光子过程.讨论了Er3+的浓度猝灭现象.最适宜掺杂浓度的原子分数为2%(Er3+/Zr4+).  相似文献
