We simulate a relaxation process of a polaron in polymer after photo excitation, and a new state is realized by means of proper excitation. The original lattice configuration of the polaron splits into two symmetrical peaks, and consequently a double-well potential is formed, where the wavefunctions of electron localized in these two wells are entangled. Thus, this process provides a method to generate the Schroedinger cat state. According to the dynamical process of the lattice configuration, the relaxation time of splitting is about 150fs.  相似文献

Nanofibrillar polymer–polymer composites (NFCs) and single polymer composites (SPCs) were produced using linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF). The NFCs were fabricated by means of a microfibrillar composite concept comprising melt blending, cold drawing, and compression molding retaining the highly oriented PVDF reinforcing nanofibrils (diameter of approximately 250 nm) dispersed without any agglomeration in the isotropic LLDPE matrix. The SPC films were prepared by partial surface premelting of neat PVDF nanofibrils (diameter of about 130 nm) using hot compaction at 148°C (about 20°C below the complete melting of PVDF), thus preserving the PVDF nanofibrillar identity. Tensile testing of NFCs based on LLDPE and PVDF showed an increase in the tensile modulus by 135% and in the tensile strength at break by 211%, as compared to those of an isotropic LLDPE film. Furthermore, the PVDF SPCs showed an enhancement of tensile modulus of 30% and strength at break of 305% when compared to those of an isotropic PVDF film.  相似文献

Relaxations in polymer electrolytes were studied in poly(ethylene oxide) and epoxidized natural rubbers both filled with lithium perchlorate. Impedance relaxation was investigated over a wide range of salt concentration at room temperature. Imaginary part of impedance as a function of frequency exhibits generally one maximum and one minimum. These two extreme values rule properties in the DC limit. They can be related to transport properties and degree of dissociation. It turns out that DC conductivity is dominantly ruled by transport coefficient.  相似文献

Conventional all-optical switches based on azo polymer films and the all-optical switches based on the attenuated total reflection (ATR) geometry are investigated. A conventional switch system, including a pump beam of 532 nm and a probe beam of 650 nm, is based on the photoinduced birefringence effect of azo polymer. An ATR switch in a prism-multilayer configuration is achieved by changing the reflectance of the probe beam with an external pump beam. The ATR method provides the substantial improvement of the speed and the efficiency of the modulation over the conventional method. Although the azo polymer response still remains relatively slow, an enhanced nonlinear refractive index of the azo polymer film can effectively increase the modulation.  相似文献

We observe the photorefractivity without bias voltage or prepoling in a bifunctional photorefractive polymer. The maximum two-beam coupling gain is measured to be 126cm^-1 at zero bias voltage. The sample is considered to be poled by the photoinduced longitudinal electric field, which is formed due to the light intensity gradient along the light path. The expression of the electric field was deduced. The energy transfer direction between two writing beams and light intensity dependence of the two-beam coupling gain coefficient is predicted to be consistent with the experimental results. Furthermore, the dependence of the two-beam coupling gain coefficient on external applied electrical field is measured and this experiment verifies the existence of the photoinduced longitudinal electric field.  相似文献

Whether polymer flooding can enhance displacement efficiency or not is still a problem under debate. Laboratory experiment, numerical simulation and core data analysis are the commonly used means to study polymer flooding displacement efficiency. We discuss the limitations of these methods and employ molecular tribology to study the problem. The black-white ball action principle, i.e. the atom action model for describing the friction principle, is used to analyse the microscopic mechanism of oil displacement and describe the molecular interactions and displacement power during polymer flooding. Both tribology theory and dynamic theological test show that molecular interactions during polymer flooding are bigger than that during water flooding. It is concluded that displacement efficiency of water flooding may be higher than that of polymer flooding at particular area; while polymer flooding can weaken the heterogeneity significantly, decrease ineffective injection and enhance the total displacement efficiency.  相似文献

Using the full-vector plane-wave expansion method, a kind of PMMA-based polarization-maintaining microstructured optical fibre (PM-mPOF) is theoretically studied. The high glass transition temperature polymer polyetherketone doped with disperse red 13 (DR13/PEK-c) has been prepared by the spin-coating method.Through in situ second-harmonic generation,the corona poling temperature was optimized by measuring the temperature dependence of the in situ second-harmonic generation signal intensity under the poling electric field.The linear electro-optic coefficients of the poled polymer films have been determined at 632.8 nm by using a simple interferometric technique.The polymer system was measured after 13000h,and found that it remained at 80% of its initial value.  相似文献

The photoinduced birefringence in an azobenzene polymer is investigated at different temperatures between -20℃ to 50℃. It is found that there is a peak value of photoinduced birefringence in the temperature dependence of the photoinduced birefringence under a certain pumping intensity. With the pump light in 90mW/cm^2, the peak value of the photoinduced birefringence appeared at about 0℃ C. The effect of temperature on the photoinduced birefringence is discussed using the competition mechanism between the photoinduced reorientation and the thermal random motion.  相似文献

We demonstrate a high eftlciency top-emitting polymer light-emitting diode (TPLED) with chromium (Cr) taking as the anode. The TPLED structure is Cr/poly-3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene (PEDOT:PSS)/poly [2-(4-3',7'- dimethyloctyloxy)-phenyl]-p-phenylenevinylene) (P-PP V) /Ba/Ag. The Cr ( 100 nm) anode is prepared by sputterdepositing in a vacuum chamber. It is found that the device emissive properties are affected dramatically by the thickness of both PEDOT:PSS and the Ag cathode. Optimized thicknesses of PEDOT:PSS and Ag layer are 60nm and 15nm, respectively. The diode exhibits excellent electroluminescence (EL) properties, such as a turn-on voltage of 3.32 V, luminous eftlciency of 4.41 cd/A and luminance of 6989cd/m^2 at driving voltage of about 9 V.  相似文献

The transparent film containing a kind of polymer cholesteric liquid crystal-R was fabricated by the freezing method. The optical polarization response of the film was investigated by a self-manufactured apparatus and its optical rotatory dispersion was measured by a novel technique at the wavelength from 35Onto to 66Onto.At various wavelengths, the chiral parameter of the film has been obtained. The results show that the chiral parameter decreases as the wavelength increases. The maximum and minimum chiral parameters are 0.0343 at the wavelength of 350 nm and 0.0058 at the wavelength of 660 nm, respectively. The obtained data indicate that this kind of polymer cholesteric liquid crystal-R is a promising candidate host material for solid optical chiral waveguides.  相似文献

We demonstrate the preparation of composite photovoltaic devices by using the blends of multi-armed CdS nanorods with conjugated polymer, poly[2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH-PPV). Multi-armed CdS nanorods are prepared by thermolysing single precursor cadmium ethylxanthate [Cd(exan)2] in pure hexadecylamine solution under ambient conditions. The photoluminescence of MEH-PPV can be effectively quenched in the composites at high CdS nanocrystal (nc-CdS)//MEH-PPV ratios. Post-treatment of the multi-armed CdS nanorods by refluxing in pyridine significantly increases the performance of the composite photovoltaic devices. Power conversion efficiency is obtained to be 0.17% under AM 1.5 illumination for this composite device.  相似文献

A step-index polymer optical fibre (SI POF) containing rhodamine B in poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) has been fabricated by a perform technique. The rhodamine B content of the doped SI POF is 5ppm-wt. The spectra of the doped SI POF with different fibre lengths were measured. Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) at 609 nm of an SI POF in length 40 cm has been observed at ambient temperature by end-pumping with a Nd:YAG laser operated at 532nm. The threshold of absorbed pump power for the onset of ASE is about 0.003mJ.  相似文献

The crystallization patterns of ultrathin poly(ethylene oxide)/poly(methyl methacrylate)(PEO/PMMA) blend films crystallized at different undercooling were investigated by atomic force microscopy. Dendrite pattern formed as a result of crystalline anisotropy at low undercooling and evolved into seaweed pattern with increasing undercooling. Although the configuration of macromolecules is far different from that of simple small molecules, the crystallization pattern transition in ultrathin polymer films can be interpreted by the classical morphology diagram developed on the basis of metals and simple molecules, indicating that polymer chains can be considered as simple dynamical units in a quasi‐two‐dimensional confined state.  相似文献

We investigate the effect of thermal annealing before and after cathode deposition on the stability of polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) based on green fluorescent polyfluorene derivative. The annealed PLEDs exhibit improved charge transport and red-shift emission compared to the as-fabricated device. The stability of the PLEDs is largely enhanced by post-annealing before and after Ca deposition, which is attributed to the enhanced charge transport and the intimate contact between the cathode and the emissive layer.  相似文献

This paper presents polymer pixel printing for applications in chemoselective sensors where nanosecond laser direct transfer methods, with a triazene polymer (TP) acting as a Dynamic Release Layer (DRL), are used. A systematic study of laser fluence, donor film morphology and both single- and multiple-pixel deposition were optimized with the final goal to obtain continuous pixels of sensitive polymers, polyethylenimine (PEI) and polyisobutylene (PIB), on SAW surfaces. Morphology characterization after the laser transfer has been performed by Optical Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The responses of the coated transducers were measured after deposition with different laser fluences and it was found that a fluence under 625 mJ/cm2 was required in order to prevent damage of the interdigital transducers (IDT) of the sensor devices. The sensitivity of the polymer coated devices to acetone concentrations gives an indication that LIFT can be used for printing sensitive polymer pixels onto transducer devices.  相似文献

Novel polymer distributed feedback(DFB)gratings are fabricated based on photopolymerization to reduce lasing threshold of polymer lasers.A photopolymer formulation sensitive to 355-nm ultraviolet(UV)light is proposed for the fabrication of polymer gratings and it can be used to form polymer films by spin-coating process.A very low surface-relief depth ranging from 12.5 to about 1.0 nm has been demonstrated with a refractive-index modulation of about 0.012.The experimental results indicate that such polymer gratings have promising potentials for the fabrication of low-order DFB organic semiconductor lasers.  相似文献
