ZnAc2·2H2O在空气中的热分解动力学研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
用TG/DTA,DSC和XRD技术研究了固态物质ZnAc2.2H2O在空气中的热分解过程.结果表明,ZnAc2.2H2O在空气中发生两步分解,其失重率与理论计算失重率相符.XRD结果表明,ZnAc2.2H2O分解的最终产物为ZnO.用Friedman法和Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)法求得分解过程的活化能E,并通过多元线性回归方法给出了可能的机理函数.ZnAc2.2H2O在空气中两步分解的活化能分别为119.82和66.82kJ/mol.  相似文献

Thermogravimetric (TG) and varied temperature Raman spectroscopic measurements of melt-blended polypropylene composites (PP) with double wall (DWNT) and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNT) revealed that the incorporation of carbon nanotubes into polymer matrix increased the thermal stability comparing to the virgin polypropylene. The characterization of reference nanotubes was also done by Raman microscopy and TG measurements. Varied temperature rheological analysis provided further information about the thermal decomposition of the composites indicating the formation of high strength char in case of MWNT and limited applicability of DWNT at high temperature. The residue of the decomposition of PP-MWNT nanocomposites consists of nanotubes of spectroscopically higher purity comparing to the original one indicating the thermally induced chemical changes in the solid phase.  相似文献

The chemical composition of 200 renal stones, collected from Taxila, Rawalpindi and Islamabad regions in Pakistan, was determined by thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) techniques. The thermal curves show weight losses at various temperatures indicating dehydration and decomposition phenomena of renal stones. Results were compared with qualitative data obtained by IR analysis which confirmed the chemical composition of various stones in the solid state. The thermal curves helped in the differentiation of various kinds of water held by stones and their chemical composition was obtained by weight loss during pyrolysis. It was found that 26.5% of the stones were pure whewellite, 3% weddellite, 13% uric acid anhydrous, 7.5% struvite, 2.5% ammonium acid urate, 0.5% cystine and 47% stones had mixed composition. In the mixed state the most frequent combinations were those of calcium oxalate with uric acid (14.5%) and with phosphates (27.5%).
Zusammenfassung Mittels TG und DTA wurde die chemische Zusammensetzung von 200 Nierensteinen untersucht, die in den Gebieten Taxila, Rawalpindi und Islamabad in Indien gesammelt wurden. Die Thermogramme zeigen Masseverluste bei verschiedenen Temperaturen, die auf Dehydratation und Zersetzung der Nierensteine hinweisen. Die Ergebnisse wurden mit den qualitativen Resultaten aus der IR-Analyse verglichen, welche die chemische Zusammensetzung der verschiedenen Steine im festen Zustand bekräftigte. Die Thermogramme halfen bei der Unterscheidung von verschieden gebundenem Wasser, ihre chemische Zusammensetzung wurde durch Gewichtsverlust bei der Pyrolyse bestimmt. Man fand, daß 26.5 % der Steine aus reinem Whewellit bestanden, 3 % aus Weddellit, 13 % aus anhydrierter Harnsäure, 7.5 % aus Struvit, 2.5 % aus Ammmoniumhydrogenurat, 0.5 % aus Cystin und 47 % der Steine hatten eine gemischte Zusammensetzung. Die häufigsten Kombinationen der Mischzusammensetzungen waren Calciumoxalat mit Harnsäure (14.5 %) und mit Phosphaten (27.5 %).

The results of the investigations of thermal behaviour of Li2ZrO3, prepared in the amorphous state by means of sol-gel technique are demonstrated. The thermal treatment was carried out in air under constant heating rate of 5 deg·min–1 and cooling rate of 2.5 deg·min–1. The methods of DTA, TG, Emanation Thermal Analysis (ETA) and dilatometry were used, for characterization of the thermal behaviour in dynamic conditions. The X-ray diffraction patterns were used for characterization of the phase changes observed by TA Methods.
Zusammenfassung Ergebnisse aus Untersuchungen des thermischen Verhaltens von Li2ZrO3, hergestellt mittels einer Sol-Gel-Technik im amorphen Zustand werden dargelegt. Die thermische Behandlung wurde in Luft bei einer konstanten Aufheizgeschwindigkeit von 5 Grad·min–1 und einer Abkühlgeschwindigkeit von 2,5Grad·min–1 durchgeführt. Zur Beschreibung des thermischen Verhaltens unter dynamischen Verhältnissen wurden DTA, TG, Emanationsthermoanalyse und Dilatometrie angewendet. Zur näheren Charakterisierung der bei TG beobachteten Phasenumwandlungen wurde Röntgendiffraktion verwendet.

Thermogravimetric analyses of sol-gel derived silica and silica-poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) materials show that the loss in weight between 35 and 900°C can be attributed to three distinct reactions. Samples were prepared by dissolving the reactants tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc), and water in mixtures of ethanol and formamide. The lowest temperature weight loss is due to the decomposition/removal of the solvents, while the intermediate weight loss corresponds to decomposition of the PVAc. The highest temperature weight loss is related to the dehydroxylation of the silica surface. The relative amounts of ethanol and formamide have a considerable effect on processing time, drying behavior, and the resulting thermal behavior of the gels.The financial support of the Center for Ceramic Research, a New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology Center, is greatly appreciated.  相似文献

In this study the process of hydration of fly ash, produced by a municipal solid waste (MSW) incinerator, is examined in water and in a solution enriched with Ca(OH)2. The examined fly ash samples are characterized by a high content of alkaline chlorides and anhydrite and by remarkable amounts of heavy metals. Investigations using differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetry (DTA/TG) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD)show particular kinetics of the formation of the ettringite phase. The development of such a hydrated phase is much more intense in the presence of an excess of Ca(OH)2so as to consume the ‘free’ sulphate in the case of the more reactive fly ash. Experimental results from thermal analysis and X-ray diffractometry show the presence of different hydrated phases during the interaction between fly ash and aqueous solution. The analytical determinations, related to the aqueous solution, point out an interesting decrease in concentration of metals Pb, Zn and Cr(VI), relating to the middle period of the interaction. Simultaneous TG/DTA has been used to study the thermal decomposition of binary compositions containing polytetrafluoroethene (PTFE) with silicon (Si), calcium silicide (CaSi2), ferrosilicon (FeSi) or iron (Fe) powders. In nitrogen and under dynamic heating program the thermal decomposition of Si/PTFE and CaSi2/PTFE is an exothermic process. The other two compositions decompose endothermically. In each case the decomposition reactions show first-order kinetics but only iron does not change considerably the kinetics of PTFE depolymerization. The constants of the decomposition rate at 850 K for silicon containing reducers are about four times higher than those of PTFE and Fe/PTFE. By thermoanalytical methods TG, DTG, DTA there have been investigated the processes occurring during the formation of ceramic materials on the basis of Al2O3, ZrO2, Si3N4, SiC,and inorganic binder. IR spectroscopy has been an additional research method. It's been determined that with the use of H3PO4 as the binder for ceramic materials, the mechanisms of thermal decomposition are connected with the following processes: 1. removal of weakly tied and crystallized water in the temperature range of120–230°C, the removal being characterized by the endothermic effect, 2. interaction of the initial powder components of the ceramic materials with orthophosphoric acid conditioned by a strong exothermic effect on the DTA curve in the range of 230–530°C, 3. overlapping of endo- and exo-effects, testifying to a complex mechanism of thermal transformations, 4.oxidizing of the non-reacted silicon at the temperature of 720(760)°C, an increase of mass is observed on the TG curve as a result of the formation of SiO2 – crystoballite. In order to get insight in some of the yet unanswered questions about the formation process of the (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+ superconducting compound, coupled DTA-TG measurements have been performed in parallel with other techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis. The path leading to the formation of the (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+ compound, starting from coprecipitated oxalates powders was studied. The activation energy of some of the involved transformation processes were determined. Relationships between the differences induced in the DTA traces by various sample nominal compositions and the intergranular magnetic properties of the superconductor will be discussed.  相似文献

Summary Due to growing environmental concerns and the need to use less energy-intensive building products, alternatives and improvements to Portland cement (PC) are being actively researched worldwide. Use of supplementary materials is now a common practice where PC is the predominant component of inorganic building products. This study aims to investigate the potential of magnesia (MgO), derived from a naturally occurring raw material magnesite, as a supplementary material. Results from mortar samples prepared with 10 and 20% replacements of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) by MgO are presented. DTA-TG was used to study and characterise the hydration behaviour of MgO in OPC environment after 3, 7, 14, 28, 56 and 90 days of moist curing. Microstructural and compressive strength determinations providing additional information on the influence of hydrated phases are also reported.  相似文献

Summary Studies on ruthenia-titania based materials have been attractive because of their catalytic properties as well as due to the possibility of solid solution formation. Samples of pure ruthenia and ruthenia containing various amounts of titania (10-70 mol%) were investigated during heating of their hydroxide precursors from 20 to 800°C in air using emanation thermal analysis (ETA), thermogravimetry (TG), and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The resulting mixed oxide type materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), which indicate the presence of three ruthenia-titania phases. The onset temperature of the crystallization of materials was identified by ETA results, whereas DTA effects characterized the crystallization in bulk of the samples. A good agreement was found between the ETA results and other characterization techniques used. ETA results, indicating the microstructural changes in surface and subsurface of ruthenia-titania based catalytic materials, can be used for optimization of their synthesis protocols to achieve the better physical properties.  相似文献

In this present work, barium ion was reacted with different ligands which are 5,7-dibromo 5,7-dichloro, 7-iodo and 5-chloro-7-iodo-8-hydroxyquinoline, in acetone/ammonium hydroxide medium under constant stirring and the obtained compounds were as follows: (I) Ba[(C9 H4 ONBr2 )2 ]⋅1.5H2 O; (II) Ba[(C9 H4 ONCl2 )(OH)]⋅1H2 O; (III) Ba[(C9 H5 ONI)2 ]⋅1H2 O and (IV) Ba[(C9 H4 ONICl)2 ]⋅5H2 O, respectively. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared absorption spectrum (IR), inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP), simultaneous thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The final residue of the thermal decomposition was characterized as orthorhombic BaBr2from (I); the intermediate residue, as a mixture of orthorhombic BaCO3 and BaCl2 and cubic BaO and the final residue, as a mixture of cubic and tetragonal BaO and orthorhombic BaCl2 (II); the intermediate residue, as orthorhombic BaCO3 and as a final residue, a mixture of cubic and tetragonal BaO from (III); and the intermediate residue, as a mixture of orthorhombic BaCO3 and BaCl2 and as a final residue, a mixture of cubic and tetragonal BaO and orthorhombic BaCl2 from (IV). Thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, differential scanning calorimetry in oxygen flux were used to characterize two wood types: fir and chestnut woods. They were characterized by the peak temperatures of DTA, DTG and DSC curves and by the different mass losses evaluated on the basis of the measured thermal data. The samples were woods in powder obtained during sawing. Complementary characterization of the woods was performed by estimating the crystallinity of cellulose by means of X-ray powder diffraction. In order to simulate the degradation of wet woods, fir and chestnut woods were put into deionised water and into artificial sea water for several weeks; some samples of woods contained Cu and Fe nails to ascertain the effect of these metals on the degradation process. The thermal and X-ray diffraction measurements were then performed on the wet woods, following the same previous procedure. X-ray fluorescence was used to investigate the penetration of metals into wood samples.  相似文献

The complexes of yttrium(III) and lanthanides(III) with 2-aminoterephthalic acid form the isostructural series of triclinic compounds with a space group P from La to Lu and they have the general formula of Ln2(C8H5O4N)3·8H2O. On heating in air or inert gas atmosphere they lose all water molecules in the temperature range 50–200°C in one or two steps. The anhydrous compounds are stable from 360 to 435°C and then decompose to oxides.  相似文献

The decomposition of EDTA gel precursors for BSCCO superconductor manufacture has been studied using STA (TG/DTA) and dilatometry in conjunction with FTIR. Ther thermoanalytical data are discussed in relation to the sequence of phase formation necessary for the production of the 2223 BSCCO superconducting phase. Thin film preparation of Bi-based highT c superconductors have been carried out on MgO (100). Grain orientation of oxide thin films has been investigated. Well orientated 2212 grains have been achieved, with the (001) planes parallel to the substrate. The EDTA-gel method has been modified by the addition of glycerol to achieve the appropriate viscosity for spin coating. STA has been used to study the decomposition of these modified gels for the formation of thin films.  相似文献

The thermal degradation of cotton cellulose treated with chemical mixtures containing P and N was studied by thermal analysis, infrared spectroscopy, Char yield and limiting-oxygen-index (LOI). Our experiments demonstrated the following facts. The temperatures and activation energies of pyrolysis were lower for cotton cellulose treated with flame retardants than those for untreated samples and the values of Char yield and LOI were greater for treated cotton than those for untreated one.
