Flavor symmetry and symmetry breaking, K0– mixing and possible effects of new physics on CP violation in weak decay modes D±KS,L+X±, (KS,L0)K*+X± (for X=π,ρ,a1) and D±sKS,L+X±s, (KS,L0)K*+X±s (for Xs=K,K*) are analyzed. Relations between D± and D±s decay branching ratios are obtained from the ds subgroup of SU(3) and dominant symmetry-breaking mechanisms are investigated. A CP asymmetry of magnitude 3.3×10−3 is shown to result in the standard model from K0– mixing in the final-state. New physics affecting the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed channels might either cancel this asymmetry or enhance it up to the percent level. A comparison between the CP asymmetries in D±(s)KSX±(s) and D±(s)KLX±(s) can pin down effects of new physics.  相似文献

The ultraviolet emission systems of HgI—CX, DX, F3X, GX, and HX—are photographed and analyzed using tesla-discharge sources containing isotopically pure 200Hg. The previous assignment for F3X is revised, the main change being a decrease by 3 units in the v″ numbering. Results for the other systems corroborate the existing interpretations, except that for CX there are prominent intensity gaps in the unresolved rotational structure of the bands, not reported previously for “natural” HgI spectra. These gaps are attributed to perturbations of the C state by high levels (v ≈ 90) of the B state. The data for these systems are combined with existing BX data for 200Hg127I and 200Hg129I and fitted simultaneously to yield optimal vibrational parameters for all states. In this analysis the X state is fitted to a mixed representation—a polynomial in ( ) for v ≤ 20 and a near-dissociation expansion for v ≥ 20, with Gv and its first derivative constrained to be continuous at v = 20. The revised estimate of e for X is 2800 ± 40 cm−1. The recommended vibrational parameters (cm−1) for v ≤ 20 are ωe = 125.41, ωexe = 1.009, ωeye = −0.0159.  相似文献

We have measured the gamma ray activity of a sample of 6189 grams of metallic Neodimium with a germanium detector. From the gamma energy spectrum recorded during almost 6500 hours we extract lower limits for the halflife of the inclusive (0ν + 2ν) ββ decay of 150Nd to the first excited states of 150Sm : t1/2(0+ → 01+ > 1.0·1020, t1/2(O+ → 02+) > 2.0 · 102), t1/2(0+ → 21+) > 9.1 · 1019.  相似文献

Nanometer-sized Eu3+-doped ZnS and Mn2+-doped ZnS particles were prepared by solid-state method at low temperature. The structures and properties of those materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescent spectroscopy techniques. The XRD patterns reveal that the doped ZnS nanoparticles belong to zinc-blende structure. The concentration of doping ions has little effect on the sizes of the doped ZnS nanoparticles, which mainly depends on the temperature of preparation. The emission peaks from the 5D07FJ (J=1, 2, and 4) electronic energy transitions of Eu3+ were observed in the emission spectra of the ZnS:Eu3+ nanoparticles. The intensity ratio of the two peaks from the 5D07F1 and 5D07F2 transitions indicates that more Eu3+ ions occupy the sites with no inversion symmetry. For the ZnS:Mn2+ nanoparticles, an orange emission from the 4T16A1 transition of Mn2+ is present, indicating that the doping ions occupy the positions of the ZnS lattices. Meanwhile, UV-induced luminescence enhancement was observed for the ZnS:Mn2+ nanoparticles, the possible reason of which is discussed primarily.  相似文献

TheY2Σ+–X2Πinear-infrared electronic transition of CuO was observed at high resolution for the first time. The spectrum was recorded with the Fourier transform spectrometer associated with the McMath–Pierce Solar Telescope at Kitt Peak. The excited CuO molecules were produced in a low pressure copper hollow cathode sputter with a slow flow of oxygen. Constants for theY2Σ+states of CuO are:T0= 7715.47765(54) cm−1,B= 0.4735780(28) cm−1,D= 0.822(12) × 10−6cm−1,H= 0.46(10) × 10−10cm−1, γ = −0.089587(42) cm−1, γD= 0.1272(79) × 10−6cm−1,bF= 0.12347(22) cm−1, andc= 0.0550(74) cm−1. In the context, some lanthanide (Eu3+, Tb3+ and Sm3+) complexes with conjugated carboxylic acids (pyridine-carboxylic acids derivatives) have been synthesized and characterized. The low temperature fluorescent spectra for these complexes have been measured at nitrogen atmosphere (77 K), indicating that the central Ln3+ ions locate in an equivalent coordination environment with low symmetry for most of these lanthanide complexes belonging to dimeric or polymeric structure. Therefore, the electronic dipole transition (supersensitive transition) (5D07F2 for Eu3+, 5D47F6 for Tb3+, 4G5/26H9/2 for Sm3+) and magnetic dipole transition (5D07F1 for Eu3+, 5D47F5 for Tb3+, 4G5/26H5/2 for Sm3+) show the regular change in the corresponding split number of fluorescent spectra, which can be realized to predict the fine structure of lanthanide complexes.  相似文献

A simple model of 1-2-3 superconductors in which electrons (holes) in CuO2 planes interact via exchange with two kinds of bosons is considered. Namely, via one-phonon exchange (weak coupling-Cooper pairing), and via paired holes on oxygen O0 from Cu-O chains. The mechanisms of paired holes exchange (“charged bosons”-“O0” exchange) considered here in strong coupling leads to the enhancement of the Fröhlich constant gf (g2FKg2F), and as a consequence to the enhancement of the Debye frequency ωDK=fKωD, fK 1. The Na2(3sσg)(4sσg) 23Σ+g state of Na2 has been observed and studied by cw perturbation-facilitated optical-optical double-resonance (PFOODR) spectroscopy for the first time. A single-mode dye laser and a Ti-sapphire laser served as the pump and the probe lasers, respectively. A total of 543 PFOODR excitation signals have been assigned to the 23Σ+gb3Π1u transitions. Absolute vibrational numbering was determined by counting nodes in the 23Σ+ga3Σ+u bound-free spectra. Spectroscopic constants and the corresponding RKR potential energy curve are presented in this vsork. The values of Te, Re, and De, are found to be 25 551.237(49) cm−1, 3.53463(35) Å, and 6211.5(1) cm−1 respectively.  相似文献

This study deals with the results on the concentration-dependent fluorescence properties of Tb3+-doped calcium aluminosilicate (CAS) glasses of composition (100−x)(58SiO2–23CaO–5Al2O3–4MgO–10NaF in mol%)-x Tb2O3 (x=0, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 in wt%). The FTIR reflectance spectra suggested the role of dopant ions as network modifiers in the glass network. The fluorescence spectra of low Tb3+-doped glasses have revealed prominent blue and green emissions from 5D3 and 5D4 excited levels to 7Fj ground state multiplet, respectively. The glass with 2 wt% of Tb2O3 has exhibited maximum intensity of blue emission from 5D3 level, while green emission from 5D4 level has increased linearly up to 24 wt% and showed reduction in the rate of increase for higher Tb2O3 concentrations. The concentration quenching of blue emission (5D37Fj) is attributed mainly to the resonant energy transfer (RET) assisted cross-relaxation (CR) among the excited and nearest neighbour unexcited Tb3+ ions in the glass matrix. The decline in rate of increase of green emission (5D47Fj) at higher concentrations has been explained due to a possible occurrence of cooperative energy transfers leading to 4f8→4f75d transition interactions. The blue and green emission decay kinetics have been recorded to compute the excited level (5D3 and 5D4) lifetimes, which confirmed the Tb3+ concentration quenching of the blue emission in these glasses.  相似文献

The absolute branching fraction for the decay D+μ+ν has been directly measured based on a data sample of about 33 pb−1 collected around with the BES-II detector at the BEPC collider. A total of 5321±149±160 D mesons are reconstructed in nine hadronic decay modes. In the system recoiling against these singly tagged D mesons, 2.67±1.74 purely leptonic decay events of D+μ+νμ are observed. Those yield the branching fraction of , and a corresponding value of the pseudoscalar decay constant .  相似文献

A large CP-violating phase uncovered recently by CDF and DØ Collaborations in the time-dependent CP asymmetry (CPA) of the BsJ/Ψ decay clearly indicates that a non-Cabibbo–Kobayashi–Maskawa (CKM) phase has to be brought into the bs transition. We find that the model with SU(2)L singlet exotic quarks cannot only provide the new phase induced from the Z-mediated flavor changing neutral current (FCNC) at tree level, but also strongly relate the Bs mixing, BqVq+ (Vd[s]=K*[]) and Bsμ+μ together. In particular, we show that the new CP phase can be unambiguously exposed by the large statistical significances of T violating observables in BqVq+, while the branching ratio of Bsμ+μ can be enhanced to be O(10−8).  相似文献

Eu3+-doped gadolinium orthophosphate (GdPO4) (Eu3+ at%=0, 2, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30) nanoparticles have been prepared by ethylene glycol route and subsequently heated at 500 and 900 °C. The crystallite size increases with increasing heat-treatment temperature. Luminescence study shows that magnetic dipole transition (5D07F1) is prominent over the electric dipole transition (5D07F2), which has been attributed to occupancy of inversion symmetry site by more Eu3+ ions in Eu3+-doped GdPO4. The luminescence intensity is enhanced as heat-treatment temperature increases from 500 to 900 °C due to the improved crystallinity. Optimum luminescence is observed for 5–7 at% Eu3+ in GdPO4 nanoparticles. Above this concentration, luminescence intensity decreases due to concentration quenching effect. This is supported by lifetime study.  相似文献

Eu(DBM)32H2O and Eu2(DDBM)3H2O were synthesized by reactions between EuCl3 and chelating regents of β-diketone (dibenzoylmethane, HDBM) and bis(β-diketone) (1,3-bis(3-phenyl-3-oxopropanoyl)benzene, H2DDBM), respectively, and their luminescence properties were investigated by the fluorescence spectra and metastable state decay spectra. It was found that the relative intensity ratio of 5D07F2 to 5D07F1transition and the radiative lifetime shows a little change attributing to the different symmetry of europium ions, which Ω2 of Eu complexes with β-diketone and bis(β-diketone) are 13.08 and 12.24, respectively. Moreover, it was also found that the metastable state lifetime of Eu2(DDBM)3H2O is much longer than that of Eu(DBM)32H2O, due to smaller water quenching and lower triplet level of ligands. The Commission Internacionale d’Éclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates calculated from emission spectrum are x=0.637 and y=0.343 for Eu2(DDBM)3H2O, which presents high red color purity near 100%.  相似文献

The adiabatic potential energy, the spectroscopic constants and the transition dipole moments of the lowest electronic states of the LiK+ molecule, dissociating into Li(2s, 2p, 3s, 3p, 3d, 4s, and 4p) + K+ and Li+ + K(4s, 4p, 5s, 3d, 5p, 4d, and 6s), have been investigated. We have used an ab initio approach involving a non-empirical pseudopotential for the Li (1s2) and K (1s22s22p63s23p6) cores and core valence correlation correction. A very good agreement has been obtained for the ground state for the spectroscopic constants with the available theoretical works. The transition dipole moment from X2Σ, 22Σ, 32Σ, and 42Σ states to higher excited states have been determined. Numerous avoided crossing between electronic states of 2Σ and 2Π symmetries, have been localised and analysed. Their existences are related to the charge transfer process between the two ionic systems Li+K and LiK+.  相似文献

Tunable dye lasers have been used to excite several known transitions in LaF. Resolved fluorescence spectra obtained after excitation of B1Π-X1Σ+ and C1Π-X1Σ+ bands showed transitions to both X1Σ+ and a3Δ states. Analysis of the spectra shows that the state is 1432 cm−1 above X1Σ+, is at 1808 cm−1, and there is an Ω = 2 state (probably 1Δ) at 5478 cm−1. A new 0+-X1Σ+ (v = 0) band has been observed in the vicinity of the B1Π-X1Σ+ 1-0 band. High resolution excitation spectra of both bands have been obtained, term energies and rotational constants calculated, and the Λ-doubling in B1Π, v = 1 has been studied. The principal constants (in cm−1) obtained from the analyses wereThe assignments of the low lying states are discussed in terms of their electron configurations and are shown to be in accord with predictions of Ligand Field Theory.  相似文献

Near-infrared and visible spectra of the A2Π–X2Σ+, C2Π1/2A2Π1/2, C2Π1/2B2Σ+, and C2Π1/2X2Σ+ band systems of the BaI molecule were recorded by using Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS). The spectra were produced from the chemiluminescent reaction Ba + I2 and also by using laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) technique in which the laser sources were a Ti:sapphire single-mode laser, a dye single-mode laser, and a Kr+ multimode ion laser. Resolved rotational data, originating from 19 vibrational levels (0 ≤ v ≤ 5 and 7 ≤ v ≤ 19) of the A2Π state, 24 vibrational levels (0 ≤ v ≤ 18 and 20 ≤ v ≤ 24) of the X2Σ+ state, and 8 vibrational levels (1 ≤ v ≤ 2 and 9 ≤ v ≤ 14) of the C2Π state, were used in the final analysis. Previously recorded data for the B2Σ+X2Σ+ and C2Π–X2Σ+ systems, taken from R. F. Gutterres, J. Vergès, and C. Amiot, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 196, 29–44 (1999) and from C. A. Leach, A. A. Tsekouras, and R. N. Zare, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 153, 59–72 (1992), were added to the present work data field. Accurate and improved molecular constants, for the X2Σ+, B2Σ+, A2Π, and C2Π states, were derived from a simultaneous treatment of the whole data set.  相似文献

Using Doppler-free polarization spectroscopy, the hyperfine structure of the B-X system of 79Br2 was measured for the levels B3Π0+u, v′ = 16–28, and X1Σg+, v″ = 1, 2. Besides the nuclear electric quadrupole coupling, the magnetic spin-rotation interaction was analyzed, which varies strongly with the vibrational energy of the electronically excited state. This behavior originates from a perturbing repulsive state Ω = 1u, the potential of which can be estimated in this way.  相似文献

Data on at rest show two resonant processes: (a) f0(1370)η,f0(1370)→σσ and ρρ, (b) η(1440)σ, η(1440)→ηπ+π. The branching ratio BR[f0(1370)→ρρ]/BR[f0(1370)→σσ]=0.98±0.25 in the mass range available here. Using data on , the ratio Γ5 for f0(1370). The effects of the strongly s-dependent width of f0(1370) are discussed in some detail.The η(1440) is observed decaying to ησ and a0(980)π, with strong destructive interference between them. In its decay to a0(980)π, a narrow peak appears in the ηπ mass spectrum, but 30–50 MeV above that usually attributed to a0(980) and significantly above the KK threshold. This effect is explained naturally by a two-step process: η(1440)→K*(890)K followed by rescattering of the two kaons through a0(980) to ηπ above the KK threshold.  相似文献
