We report a combined experimental and computational study of new rhenium tricarbonyl complexes based on the bidentate heterocyclic N-N ligands 2-(4-methylpyridin-2-yl)benzo[d]-X-azole (X = N-CH3, O, or S) and 2-(benzo[d]-X-azol-2-yl)-4-methylquinoline (X = N-CH3, O, or S). Two sets of complexes are reported. Chloro complexes, described by the general formula Re(CO)3[2-(4-methylpyridin-2-yl)benzo[d]-X-azole]Cl (X = N-CH3, 1; X = O, 2; X = S, 3) and Re(CO)3[2-(benzo[d]-X-azol-2-yl)-4-methylquinoline]Cl (X = N-CH3, 4; X = O, 5; X = S, 6) were synthesized heating at reflux Re(CO)5Cl with the appropriate N-N ligand in toluene. The corresponding pyridine set {Re(CO)3[2-(4-methylpyridin-2-yl)benzo-X-azole]py}PF6 (X = N-CH3, 7; X = O, 8; X = S, 9) and {Re(CO)3[2-(benzo[d]-X-azol-2-yl)-4-methylquinoline]py}PF6 (X = N-CH3, 10; X = O, 11; X = S, 12) was synthesized by halide abstraction with silver nitrate of 1-6 followed by heating in pyridine and isolated as their hexafluorophosphate salts. All complexes have been fully characterized by IR, NMR, electrochemical techniques and luminescence. The crystal structures of 1 and 7 were obtained by X-ray diffraction. DFT and time-dependent (TD) DFT calculations were carried out for investigating the effect of the organic ligand on the optical properties and electronic structure of the reported complexes.  相似文献

The ligands (HL1, HL2 and HL3) have been prepared and their reaction with fac-[ReX(CO)3(CH3CN)2] (X = Br, Cl) in chloroform gave the adducts [ReX(CO)3(HL)] (1a X = Cl, R = H; 1a′ X = Br, R = H; 1b X = Cl, R = CH3; 1b′ X = Br, R = CH3; 1c X = Cl, R = Ph; 1c′ X = Br, R = Ph) in good yield. All the compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry (FAB), IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic methods, and the structures of the ligands have been elucidated by X-ray diffraction. In the case of HL1, we have tried the reaction with [ReX(CO)5] (X = Br, Cl) in toluene and we proved the formation of the adduct also by this way by the isolation of single crystals of 1a′ · ½C7H8.  相似文献

The platinum(II) complex [PtMe2(bpy)] (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) reacted with a large excess of dihaloalkanes X(CH2)nX (n = 1, X = Cl; n = 4, X = Br) to form the platinum(IV) complexes [PtMe2X{(CH2)nX}(bpy)] (n = 1, X = Cl, 1a; n = 4, X = Br, 1b). The reaction of complexes 1a and 1b with SnBr2 resulted in insertion of SnBr2 into Pt–X (X = Cl, Br) bond to afford the trihalostannyl complexes [PtMe2(SnBr2X){(CH2)nX}(bpy)] (n = 1, X = Cl, 2a; n = 4, X = Br, 2b). The synthesis of such trihalostannylplatinum(IV) complexes is reported for the first time. The complex 2a was decomposed in CH2Cl2 solution and single crystals of [PtBr2(bpy)] (3a) were obtained. The X-ray structure determination of 3a revealed a new polymorphic form of [PtBr2(bpy)]. The molecules undergo a remarkable stacking along the b-axis to form a zigzag Pt?Pt?Pt chain containing both short (3.799 Å) and long (5.175 Å) Pt?Pt separations through the crystal. The crystal structure is compared to that of the yellow modification of [PtBr2(bpy)].  相似文献

The reaction of Ni(OAc)2, NiX2 (X = Cl, Br) or CoCl2 with the proligand 2-amino-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol (ampdH2) affords a new family of tetranuclear complexes. The syntheses of [Ni4(OAc)4(ampdH)4] (1) and [M4X4(ampdH)4] (M = Ni, X = Cl, 2; M = Ni, X = Br, 3; M = Co, X = Cl, 4) are reported, together with the single crystal X-ray structures of 1, 2 and 4 and the magnetochemical characterization of 1, 3 and 4. Each member of this family of complexes displays a low symmetry structure that incorporates a {M4O4} core unit based on a distorted cubane. Magnetic measurements reveal ferromagnetic exchange interactions for 1, 3 and 4. These give rise to S = 4 ground state spins for the tetranuclear Ni complexes and an anisotropic effective S′ = 2 ground state for the Co complex.  相似文献

A series of five gold(I) halide complexes with the two isomeric methoxy-substituted triarylphosphines, tris(2-methoxyphenyl)phosphine [P(oanis)3], [AuP(oanis)3X] [for X = Cl, (1); X = Br, (2) and X = I, (3)] and tris(4-methoxyphenyl)phosphine [P(panis)3], [AuP(panis)3X] [for X = Br (4) and X = I (5)] have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and solution 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy. The structure determinations confirm the expected presence of linear two-coordination about the gold centres in all five complexes with bond distance and angle data typical of this type of compound [Au–P, 2.239(2)–2.259(3) Å; Au–Cl, 2.294(2) Å; Au–Br, 2.385(2)–2.402(2) Å; Au–I, 2.546(1)–2.554(1) Å; P–Au–X; 175.3(1)–180°]. All analogues except the iodo complex 5 crystallize with one complex molecule in the crystallographic asymmetric unit. The bromo and iodo complexes 2 and 3 constitute a trigonal isomorphous set while the bromo complex 4 is also isomorphous with the previously determined chloro complex [AuP(panis)3Cl]. The 2-methoxy analogues are stabilized by significant methoxy-O?Au interactions.  相似文献

N-thioamide thiosemicarbazone derived from 4-(methylthio)benzaldehyde (R = H, HL1; R = Me, HL2 and R = Ph, HL3) have been prepared and their reaction with fac-[ReX(CO)3(CH3CN)2] (X = Br, Cl) in methanol gave the adducts [ReX(CO)3(HLn)] (1a X = Cl, n = 1; 1a′ X = Br, n = 1; 1b X = Cl, n = 2; 1b′ X = Br, n = 2; 1c X = Cl, n = 3; 1c′ X = Br, n = 3) in good yield.All the compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry (ESI), IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic methods. Moreover, the structures of HL2, HL3, HL3·(CH3)2SO and 1b′·H2O were also elucidated by X-ray diffraction. In 1b′, the rhenium atom is coordinated by the sulphur and the azomethine nitrogen atoms (κS,N3) forming a five-membered chelate ring, as well as three carbonyl and bromide ligands. The resulting coordination polyhedron can be described as a distorted octahedron.The structure of the dimers is based on rhenium(I) thiosemicarbazonates [Re2(L1)2(CO)6] (2a), [Re2(L2)2(CO)6] (2b) and [Re2(L3)2(CO)6] (2c) as determined by X-ray studies. Methods of synthesis were optimized to obtain amounts of these thiosemicarbazonate complexes. In these compounds the dimer structures are achieved by Re-S-Re bridges, where S is the thiolate sulphur from a κS,N3-bidentate thiosemicarbazonate ligand.Some single crystals isolated in the synthesis of 2b contain [Re(L4)(L2)(CO)3] (3b) where L4 (=2-methylamine-5-(para-methylsulfanephenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole) is originated in a cyclization process of the thiosemicarbazone. Furthermore, the rhenium atom is coordinate by the sulphur and the thioamidic nitrogen of the thiosemicarbazonate (κS,N2) affording a four-membered chelate ring.  相似文献

Three new π-conjugated pyridine ligands with redox-active tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) derivatives, L1-L3, have been synthesized and characterized. The Diels-Alder reaction is the key step for this multistep synthetic strategy. The crystal structures of L1 and L3 have been studied. The electrochemical and spectroscopic properties of these new ligands, as well as the corresponding tricarbonyl rhenium(I) complexes (ReL1(CO)3X, X = Cl, 5; X = Br, 6) have also been investigated.  相似文献

TeX4 (X = Cl, Br) react in HCl/HBr with [Ph(CH3)2Te]X (X = Cl, Br) to give [PhTe(CH3)2]2[TeCl6] (1) and [PhTe(CH3)2]2[TeBr6] (2). The reaction of PhTeX3 (X = Cl, Br, I) in cooled methanol with [(Ph)3Te]X (X = Cl, Br, I) leads to [Ph3Te][PhTeCl4] (3), [Ph3Te][PhTeBr4] (4) and [Ph3Te][PhTeI4] (5). In the lattices of the telluronium tellurolate salts 1 and 2, octahedral TeCl6 and TeBr6 dianions are linked by telluronium cations through Te?Cl and Te?Br secondary bonds, attaining bidimensional (1) and three-dimensional (2) assemblies. The complexes 3, 4 and 5 show two kinds of Te?halogen secondary interactions: the anion-anion interactions, which form centrosymmetric dimers, and two identical sets of three telluronium-tellurolate interactions, which accomplish the centrosymmetric fundamental moiety of the supramolecular arrays of the three compounds, with the tellurium atoms attaining distorted octahedral geometries. Also phenyl C-H?halogen secondary interactions are structure forming forces in the crystalline structures of compounds 3, 4 and 5.  相似文献

The triple ligand transfer reaction between planar-chiral cyclopentadienyl-ruthenium complexes [Cp′Ru(NCMe)3][PF6] (1) (Cp′ = 1-(COOR2)-2-Me-4-R1C5H2; R1 = Me, Ph, t-Bu) and iron complexes CpFe(CO)(L)X (2) (L = PMe3, PMe2Ph, PMePh2, PPh3; X = I, Br) resulted in the formation of metal-centered chiral ruthenium complexes Cp′Ru(CO)(L)X (3) in moderate yields with diastereoselectivities of up to 68% de. The configurations of some major diastereomers were determined to be by X-ray crystallography. The diastereoselectivity of 3 was under kinetic control and not affected by the steric effect of the substituents on the Cp′ ring of 1 and the phosphine of 2. Although the double ligand transfer reaction between [Cp′Ru{P(OMe)3}(NCMe)2][PF6] (7) and CpFe(CO)2X (8) produced Cp′Ru{P(OMe)3}(CO)X (9), the selectivity at the ruthenium center was low.  相似文献

The heteroditopic, P-N-chelating ligand diphenylphosphino(phenyl pyridin-2-yl methylene)amine (1) has been synthesised via a simple ‘one-pot’ procedure and its donor characteristics assessed. The neutral [MX(Y)(12-P-N)] (3, M = Rh, X = Cl, Y = CO; 4, M = Pd, X = Y = Cl; 5, M = Pd, X = Cl, Y = Me; 6, M = Pt, X = Y = Cl; 7, M = Pt, X = Cl, Y = Me; 8, M = Pt, X = Y = Me) and cationic [Pd(Me)(MeCN)(12-P-N)][Z] (9, Z = B{3,5-(CF3)2-C6H3}4; 10, Z = PF6) complexes of 1 have been prepared and characterised. The solid-state structures of complexes 3, 4, 6 and 7 have been established by X-ray crystallography. Reactions of [PdCl(Me)(12-P-N)] towards CO and tBuNC have been investigated, affording the corresponding η1-acyl (12) and -iminoacyl (14) complexes, respectively. Similar insertion chemistry is observed for the cationic derivative 9. Treatment of the acyl complex 12 with ethene at elevated pressure establishes an equilibrium between the starting material and the product resulting from insertion, 13. Under catalytic conditions, combination of palladium(II) with 1 in MeOH affords a selective initiator for the formation of 4-oxo-hexanoic acid methyl ester (15) from CO/ethene (38 bar, 90 °C).  相似文献

Reactions of bis(pyridin-2-yl)ketone with tin tetrahalides, SnX4 (X = Cl or Br), or organotin trichlorides, RSnCl3 (R = Ph, Bu or CH2CH2CO2Me), in ROH (R = Me or Et) readily produces RObis(pyridin-2-yl)methanolato)tin complexes, [5: RO(py)2C(OSnX3)] (5: R,X = Me,Cl; Et,Cl; Et,Br) or [6: MeO(py)2C(OSnCl2R)] (R = Ph, Bu, CH2CH2CO2Me). In addition, halide exchange reaction between SnI4 and (5: R,X = Me,Cl) occurred to give (5: R,X = Me,I). The crystal structures of six tin(IV) derivatives indicated, in all cases, a monoanionic tridentate ligand, [RO(py)2C(O)-N,O,N], arranged in a fac manner about a distorted octahedral tin atom. The Sn–O and Sn–N bonds lengths do not show much variation amongst the six complexes despite the differences in the other ligands at tin.  相似文献

Copper(I) complexes of short-bite aminobis(phosphonite), PhN{P(–OC10H6(μ-S)C10H6O–)}2 (1) have been synthesized. Reactions of 1 with an excess of CuX (X = Cl, Br, and I) afforded the ligand-bridged binuclear complexes, [PhN(PR-κP)2{Cu(μ-X)(MeCN)}2] (2, X = Cl; 3, X = Br; 4, X = I; R = –OC10H6(μ-S)C10H6O–), whereas treatment with 0.5 equiv. of [Cu(MeCN)4]PF6 produces the mononuclear bischelated cationic complex, [{PhN(PR-κP)2}2Cu](PF6) (5). Single crystal X-ray structures of complexes 3 and 4 are reported. Complex 3 shows strong π–π stacking interactions between the naphthyl moieties, whereas complex 4 shows ligand-supported Cu?Cu metallophilic interactions.  相似文献

The synthesis of 1,3-diarylimidazolidin-2-ylidene (NHC) precursor, 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazolinium chloride, (3b) has been extended to the electronically and sterically modified NHC precursors 3a (X = H), 3c (X = Br) and 3e (X = Cl) in order to investigate the electronic effect of a p-substituent (X) on cross-coupling catalysts. Complexes of the type PdCl2(NHC)2 (5), PdCl2(NHC)(PPh3) (6) and [RhCl(NHC)(cod)] (7) were prepared from 3 or 4d (1,3-bis(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-trichloromethylimidazolidin). Initial decomposition temperatures of the complexes 5 and 6 were determined by TGA. In situ formed complexes from Pd(OAc)2 and 3 as well as the preformed complexes 5 and 6 have been tested as catalysts in coupling of phenylboronic acid with 4-haloacetophenones. The electron donating ability of NHCs derived from 3 was assessed by measuring C-O frequencies in the respective [RhCl(NHC)(CO)2] complex 8 which was prepared by replacement of cod ligand of 7 with CO. An interesting correlation between the electron-donating nature of the aryl substituent and catalytic activity and also initial decomposition temperature of the complexes 5 and 6 was observed.  相似文献

Monometallic and bimetallic diimine complexes of rhenium(I) and osmium(II), [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)](PF6) I, [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)2II, [Cl(bpy)2Os(4,4′-bpy)](PF6) III and [Cl(bpy)2Os(4,4′-bpy)Os(bpy)2Cl](PF6)2IV, and a new heterobimetallic complex of rhenium(I) and osmium(II) [(CO)3(bpy)Re(4,4′-bpy)Os(bpy)Cl](PF6)2V (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine; 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by various spectral techniques. The photophysical properties of all the complexes have been studied and a comparison is made between the heterobimetallic and corresponding monometallic and homobimetallic complexes. Emission and transient absorption spectral studies reveal that excited state energy transfer from the rhenium(I) chromophore (∗Re) to osmium(II) takes place. The energy transfer rate constant is found to be 8.7 × 107 s−1.  相似文献

The reaction of mercury(II) halides with 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane monoxide (dppeO) in 1:1 molar ratio yielded P,O-coordinated polymers having the empirical formula [HgX2(dppeO)]n [X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (3)]. In contrast, the reaction between the same reactants in a 1:2 molar ratio yielded the P, P-coordinated monomeric complexes, HgX2(dppeO)2[X = Cl (4), Br (5), I (6)]. The structures of 2, 3, 4 and 5 have been characterized crystallographically. The results indicate that the geometry around the mercury atom in each of these molecules is tetrahedral with considerable distortion. The 31P NMR spectra of the 1:1 complexes indicate the dissociation of the Hg–O bond in solution.  相似文献

A mononuclear ruthenium complex [Ru(bpy)2(bpp)](PF6) (1) and its halogenated and nitro derivatives [Ru(bpy)2(Xbpp)](PF6) (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine; bpp = 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazole; X = Cl, 2; X = Br, 3; X = I, 4; X = NO2, 5) have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS, elemental analysis. Complexes 25 have been further confirmed by X-ray diffraction. Their UV–Vis and emission spectroscopies, electrochemical measurements and acid–base properties are described. The results presented here reveal that the introduction of Cl, Br, I and NO2 groups to the coordinated bpp ligand makes the absorption and emission maxima of the parent complex 1 blue-shifted, the oxidation potential of the RuII/RuIII couple increased and the pKa value decreased obviously. In addition, significant quenching of the emission by these groups is also observed.  相似文献

Diacetylplatinum(II) complexes [Pt(COMe)2()] ( = bpy, 3a; 4,4′-t-Bu2-bpy, 3b), obtained by the reaction of [Pt(COMe)2X(H)()] with NaOH in CH2Cl2/H2O, were found to undergo oxidative addition reactions with halogens (Br2, I2) yielding the platinum(IV) complexes (trans, OC-6-13)/(cis, OC-6-32) [Pt(COMe)2X2()] ( = bpy, X = Br, 4a/4b; I, 4c/4d;  = 4,4′-t-Bu2-bpy, X = Br, 4e/4f; I, 4g/4h). The diastereoselectivity of the reactions proved to be strongly dependent on the solvent. The oxidative addition of (SCN)2 resulted in the formation of (OC-6-13)-[Pt(COMe)2(SCN)2()] ( = bpy, 4i; 4,4′-t-Bu2-bpy, 4j). In a reaction the reverse of their formation, the diacetylplatinum(II) complexes 3 underwent oxidative addition with anhydrous HX (X = Cl, Br, I), prepared in situ from Me3SiX/H2O, yielding diacetyl(hydrido)platinum(IV) complexes [Pt(COMe)2X(H)()] ( = bpy, X = Cl, 5a; Br, 5b; I, 5c;  = 4,4′-t-Bu2-bpy, X = Cl, 5d; Br, 5e; I, 5f). Furthermore, diacetyldihaloplatinum complexes 4 were found to undergo reductive elimination reactions in boiling methanol yielding acetylplatinum(II) complexes [Pt(COMe)X()] ( = bpy, X = Br, 6b; I, 6c;  = 4,4′-t-Bu2-bpy, X = Br, 6e; I, 6f). All complexes were characterized by microanalysis, IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Additionally, the bis(thiocyanato) complex 4j was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

The first gold(I) trithiophosphite complexes were synthesised and fully characterised. Reaction of (tht)AuX (X = Cl, C6F5; tht = tetrahydrothiophene) with trithiophosphites (RS)3P (R = Me, Ph) and the bicyclic [(SCH2CH2S)PSCH2]2 (2L) afforded the corresponding molecular complexes (RS)3PAuX [R = Me, X = Cl (1); R = Me, X = C6F5 (2); R = Ph, X = Cl (3); R = Ph, X = C6F5 (4)], and 2L(AuX)2 [X = Cl (5), X = C6F5 (6)]. Reacting (tht)AuCl consecutively with two mole equivalents of (MeS)3P and then AgOTf, gave the ionic compound {[(MeS)3P]2Au}OTf (7). The compounds were characterised by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, IR measurements and mass spectrometry, and the crystal and molecular structures of 1, 3, 6, two polymorphs of 2 as well as the known (MeO)3PAuCl (8) were determined by X-ray diffraction. The halide complexes 1 and 8 are isostructural and exhibit infinite chains of “crossed-sword”-type aurophilic interactions with Au?Au contact distances of 3.2942(3) and 3.1635(4) Å, respectively. Complex 6 exhibits a long Au?Au contact of 3.4671(9) Å. Au?S interactions between 3.3455(7) and 3.520(2) Å are present in the structures of 1 and one polymorph of 2.  相似文献
