The behavior of the Kirillov-Schilling-Shimozono bijection is examined under the similarity map on Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals. It enables us to define this bijection over \(\mathbb {Q}\). Conjectures on the extension to \(\mathbb {R}\) are also presented.  相似文献

Gioan showed that the number of cycle reversing classes of totally cyclic orientations of a given graph can be calculated as an evaluation of the corresponding Tutte polynomial. We note that the concept of cycle reversing classes of orientations coincides with that of Eulerian-equivalence classes considered by Chen and Stanley, and Kochol. Based on this coincidence, we give a bijective proof of Gioan’s result. Precisely, the main result of the paper is an algorithmic bijection between the set of Eulerian-equivalence classes of totally cyclic orientations and the set of spanning trees without internally active edges.   相似文献

A connected subset of ${\mathbb{R}}^2$ consisting of unit squares with integral vertices is called a convex polyomino or is simply said to be xy-convex if it intersects any horizontal or vertical line exactly in one closed interval. In this paper, a geometric representation for xy-convex sets is described, allowing us to obtain, by elementary combinatorial methods, known formulas for the number of convex polyominoes contained in a rectangle of given size.  相似文献

It is known that resonant multisoliton solutions depend on higher times and a set of parameters (integrals of motion). We show that soliton tau functions of the Toda lattice (and of the multicomponent Toda lattice) are tau functions of a dual hierarchy, where the higher times and the parameters (integrals of motion) exchange roles. The multisoliton solutions turn out to be rational solutions of the dual hierarchy, and the infinite-soliton tau functions turn out to be hypergeometric-type tau functions of the dual hierarchy. The variables in the dual hierarchies exchange roles. Soliton momenta are related to the Frobenius coordinates of partitions in the decomposition of rational solutions with respect to Schur functions. In this paper we study relations between the weighted energy class Ecmathcal{E}_{chi} introduced by S. Benelkourchi, V. Guedj and A. Zeriahi recently with Cegrell’s classes Emathcal{E} and Nmathcal{N}. Next we establish a generalized comparison principle for the operator M χ . In this paper we introduce a new bijection from the set of Dyck paths to itself. This bijection has the property that it maps statistics that appeared recently in the study of patternavoiding permutations into classical statistics on Dyck paths, whose distribution is easy to obtain. This work starts with the introduction of a family of differential energy operators. Energy operators $({\varPsi}_{R}^{+}, {\varPsi}_{R}^{-})$ were defined together with a method to decompose the wave equation in a previous work. Here the energy operators are defined following the order of their derivatives $(\varPsi^{-}_{k}, \varPsi^{+}_{k}, k=\{0,\pm 1,\pm 2,\ldots\})$ . The main part of the work demonstrates for any smooth real-valued function f in the Schwartz space $(\mathbf{S}^{-}(\mathbb{R}))$ , the successive derivatives of the n-th power of f ( $n \in \mathbb{Z}$ and n≠0) can be decomposed using only $\varPsi^{+}_{k}$ (Lemma); or if f in a subset of $\mathbf{S}^{-}(\mathbb{R})$ , called $\mathbf{s}^{-}(\mathbb{R})$ , $\varPsi^{+}_{k}$ and $\varPsi^{-}_{k}$ ( $k\in \mathbb{Z}$ ) decompose in a unique way the successive derivatives of the n-th power of f (Theorem). Some properties of the Kernel and the Image of the energy operators are given along with the development. Finally, the paper ends with the application to the energy function.  相似文献

Let D be any division ring with an involution,Hn (D) be the space of all n × n hermitian matrices over D. Two hermitian matrices A and B are said to be adjacent if rank(A - B) = 1. It is proved that if φ is a bijective map from Hn(D)(n ≥ 2) to itself such that φ preserves the adjacency, then φ^-1 also preserves the adjacency. Moreover, if Hn(D) ≠J3(F2), then φ preserves the arithmetic distance. Thus, an open problem posed by Wan Zhe-Xian is answered for geometry of symmetric and hermitian matrices.  相似文献

Necessary and sufficient conditions on f are determined which makes it possible to endow A with a binary operation ? such that (A,?) is a cyclic group and f∈Aut(A). This result is extended to all abelian groups in case |A| = p2, p a prime. In this paper we propose a hybrid genetic algorithm for minimizing molecular potential energy functions. Experimental evidence shows that the global minimum of the potential energy of a molecule corresponds to its most stable conformation, which dictates its properties. The search for the global minimum of a potential energy function is very difficult since the number of local minima grows exponentially with molecule size. The proposed approach was successfully applied to two cases: (i) a simplified version of more general molecular potential energy functions in problems with up to 100 degrees of freedom, and (ii) a realistic potential energy function modeling two different molecules.  相似文献

We introduce an abstract setting that allows to discuss wave equations with time-dependent boundary conditions by means of operator matrices. We show that such problems are well-posed if and only if certain perturbations of the same problems with homogeneous, time-independent boundary conditions are well-posed. As applications we discuss two wave equations in Lp(0, 1) and in L2(Ω) equipped with dynamical and acoustic-like boundary conditions, respectively.  相似文献
