对290 AMeV 12C诱发乳胶核反应末态粒子间的多重数关联进行了研究。实验结果表明:黑径迹粒子、灰径迹粒子、重电离粒子多重数之间存在较强的关联,而且黑径迹粒子和重电离粒子多重数有饱和的趋势,这些特征与高能区实验结果一致;簇射粒子与其他粒子间的关联性较弱,这一特征与高能区实验结果不同,主要归因于弹核能量较低、簇射粒子产额较小;黑径迹粒子、灰径迹粒子在前后半球的平均多重数随靶核的增大而增加;实验结果可用基于碰撞几何的旁观体-反应体模型及级联蒸发模型来解释。We have investigated the multiplicity correlation of particles produced in 12C-emulsion interactions at 290 AMeV. It is found that there is a strong correlation between black track particle, grey track particle and heavily ionized track particle, and finally black track particles and heavily ionized track particles tend to saturation, which is the same as the experimental results observed at high energies. The multiplicity correlation between shower particle and other particles is weaker, which is different from the experimental results observed at high energies. This discriminating character can be explained by the lower energy of projectile. The productivity of shower particle is lower at intermediate energies compared to that at high energies. The forward-backward averaged multiplicity of black track particle and grey track particle increases with the increasing target size.  相似文献

The Wulff construction yields the equilibrium shape of a particle of fixed volume embedded in a single phase at constant temperature. When the particle attaches to an interface (boundary) between two distinct phases or grains of the same phase, the Wulff construction must be modified to account for the abutment of Wulff shapes at the boundary as well as the boundary energy that is replaced by the particle. If the boundary is non-deformable, a portion of the particle interface is constrained to replace the image (i.e. the exact position) of the boundary that is removed, and the Winterbottom construction yields the equilibrium particle shape. If the boundary can deform, the particle is not constrained to replace the image of removed boundary, and the particle shape is determined by a more general modification of the Wulff construction. In two dimensions, the particle attaches to an initially flat boundary and creates two disjoint segments that remain flat at equilibrium. In three dimensions, the boundary surrounding the particle is contiguous, and numerical calculations show that such a boundary is not necessarily flat but maintains a constant mean curvature of zero at equilibrium.  相似文献

We study the long time behavior of a non-equilibrium infinite particle system in one dimension. First, we show that the velocity of a particle increases at most linearly in time. Then we discuss at a heuristic level the displacement of a particle when the mutual interaction is singular. Finally we study the motion of a fast particle interacting with a background of slow particles and we prove that the velocity of the fast particle remains almost unchanged for a long time (at least proportional to the velocity itself).  相似文献

An algorithm for particle identification in PTV, which is classified in the category?particle mask correlation method, is presented and tested. A typical brightness pattern of a particle image is referred to as a particle mask. The particle mask is centered on a pixel in the image plane and the cross correlation between the particle mask and a region of the image plane centered on the given pixel is calculated. The particle mask is scanned over the entire image plane and the cross correlation coefficient is calculated at each pixel location. Small subareas with high correlation coefficients indicate central areas of particle images.  相似文献

A circular particle settling in a confined vertical channel with static fluid is investigated by lattice Boltzmann method, the effect of density ratio on the particle motion and flow pattern is discussed. It shows that the particle starting from an initial position off-center displays various moving modes accompanied by different flow patterns for 1.003 ≤ γ ≤ 5.0: when γ < 1.1, the particle is finally in a stable equilibrium near the centerline and settles uniformly with a symmetrical flow, but there are different modes before reaching the centerline at different density ratios, a monotonic approach appears at γ ≤ 1.005 and an transient overshoot appears at 1.005 < γ < 1.1; When γ = 1.1, a weak oscillation appears in the particle moving but the flow is almost symmetrical, it is in a critical state of the particle moving from stable equilibrium with a transient overshoot to oscillation; When 1.1 < γ ≤ 3.0, the particle oscillates regularly around the centerline with the uniform amplitude and frequency, and it turns into irregularity for γ > 3.0. Meanwhile the rotation of the particle depends on the distance from a wall; it rolls up the closer wall and stops at centerline.  相似文献

数值模拟气体流过孤立碳颗粒聚团的燃烧反应过程。计算表明穿过颗粒聚团的气体流量主要与颗粒聚团空隙率有关。当颗粒聚团空隙率小于0.8时,穿过颗粒聚团的气体流量可忽略不计。碳颗粒聚团内温度呈现迎来流面低、背流面高,两侧低中间高; CO和CO2含量呈现迎来流面低、背流面高,两侧低中间高的变化趋势;而O2含量迎来流面高、背流面低,两侧高中间低。颗粒聚团内不同位置的颗粒消耗的碳量不同。颗粒的相互团聚将降低碳的消耗量,同时也抑制碳颗粒燃烧过程NO和N2O的生成。  相似文献

To take the local thermal nonequilibrium between particles and the nonuniformity of temperature within a single particle into account, a concept of multi-scale modeling of radiative transfer is presented. Particles are considered to interact with thermal radiation on both micro-scale of a single particle and meso-scale of a particle cell to produce radiative source term at the local or meso-scale level of a particle cell for the modeling of radiative transfer at macro-scale of overall particle system. The accurate modeling of radiative transfer in particle polydispersions are related to the modeling of radiative transfer in following three different scales: macro-scale of the overall particle system, meso-scale of particle cell, and micro-scale of single particle. Two examples are taken to show the necessity of multi-scale modeling for radiative transfer in particle polydispersions. The results show that omitting local thermal nonequilibrium and nonuniformity will result in errors for the solution of radiative heat transfer to some extent, and the multi-scale modeling is necessary for the radiative transfer in particle system with large local thermal nonequilibrium and nonuniformity.  相似文献

A scattered light photometer which monitors the particle number concentration of aerosols is described. The photometer measures the scattered light from illuminated submicron particle clouds with known material properties at certain scattering angles. Intensity ratios in combination with the degree of polarization are used to determine the mean particle diameter and the geometric standard deviation of an assumed log-normal particle size distribution. The determination of the particle size distribution is based on an algorithm which compares the measured and calculated (Mie theory) relative intensity quantities described. Furthermore, the particle number concentration is monitored from a single absolute intensity measurement at one scattering angle. In order to obtain quantitative results a spherical particle shape is required.  相似文献

光滑粒子动力学(SPH)作为一种拉格朗日型无网格粒子方法,已经成功地应用于包括含多相流动界面以及移动边界的可压缩和不可压缩流体运动的研究中.通过对Poiseuille流动的深入研究,探索了SPH方法中粒子分布对计算精度的影响,揭示了一种因为粒子不规则分布而导致的数值不稳定现象.研究显示,这种数值不稳定性起源于SPH方法粒子近似过程中的不连续性.使用了一种新的粒子近似格式以确保SPH方法中粒子近似的连续性.计算结果表明,这种新的粒子近似格式对于规则和不规则的粒子分布都能得到稳定精度的结果.  相似文献

The stress distribution around a single particle coated with an elastic interphase embedded within an elastic–plastic polymer matrix under multiaxial load was considered. The specimen has a curved (necked) geometry, which causes multiaxial local stresses in the neighbourhood of the particle. The motivation for the calculations is to determine the maximum radial stress (debonding strength) at the particle surface as a function of applied load. The effect of the particle size on failure initiation is considered. Assuming that the normal stress at the interface is responsible for debonding, the adhesion strength can be determined from the critical load at debonding initiation. Because of the matrix yielding, the relation between the applied load and the maximum radial stress at the particle/interphase interface is a non-linear one. Using this relation, the determination of interfacial strength will be possible by a tensile test.  相似文献

通过对水力旋流器内液固多相流动的固体颗粒运动进行理论分析、数值模拟和实验测试,探讨了进口颗粒浓度对采用水力旋流器进行高炉污泥颗粒分级的影响。液固多相流动的数值模拟证实,固体颗粒在水力旋流器内的径向沉降速度近似与颗粒粒径的平方成正比。实验给出了不同进口浓度的颗粒分级效率曲线。本文的实验结果、数值模拟结果以及颗粒离心沉降的理论分析都表明,进口浓度对水力旋流器内高炉污泥的颗粒分级影响不大,该结果诠释了在高炉污泥脱锌操作所考虑的颗粒浓度范围内为什么低浓度下水力旋流器颗粒分级的数值模拟结果与较高浓度下的实验结果基本一致。  相似文献

Transport of a Brownian particle moving along the axis of a three-dimensional (313) symmetric and periodic tube is investigated in the presence of asymmetric unbiased forces. It is found that in the presence of entropic barrier, the asymmetry of the unbiased forces is a way of inducing a net particle current. The particle current is a peaked function of temperature, which indicates that the thermal noise may facilitate the transport even in the presence of entropic barrier. There exists an optimized radius at the bottleneck at which the particle current takes its maximum value. The current can be influenced by the slope of tube walls and there exists an optimized slope for which the particle current takes its maximum value.  相似文献

Oscillations and stability of planar symmetric dust clusters shaped as a regular polygon and a regular polygon with a particle at the center in the presence of an external uniform magnetic field are analyzed. The structure stability against small perturbations is considered. To this end, the equation of motion was linearized with respect to small coordinate variations. As a result, a dispersion relation (quartic algebraic equation) was derived and numerically studied for particular types of interactions between particles. A comparison of stability regions for a quadrangle and a triangle with a particle at the center, as well as a pentagon and a quadrangle with a particle at the center shows that there are ranges of parameters, where configurations without particle at the center are stable and configurations with a particle at the center are unstable, and vice versa.  相似文献

The interaction of a charged particle with a nanosphere is studied based on the dielectric response theory. We obtain the analytical expressions of the induced potential and stopping power, as the charged particle moving outside the nanosphere with a constant velocity. From our results, since the spherical shape limitation, the well-known V-shaped wake effect tracing the particle cannot be observed clearly no matter at the nanosphere surface or in the bulk. Besides, we also find that the particle can even gain energy from the electron polarization as the particle moves to the nanosphere at relatively low velocity.  相似文献

Laser-induced incandescence (LII) of nanoparticles at low pressures has received some attention in recent years as a particle sizing technique or a technique for inferring the mean value of the absorption function of the particle material. In this paper, we are concerned with some fundamental issues in the theory of LII with particular attention paid to those encountered at very low pressures. The commonly adopted Rayleigh approximation for particle laser energy absorption and subsequent thermal emission is critically evaluated against the Mie solution in the range of size parameter relevant to LII. The Rayleigh approximation can cause significant error in particle laser energy absorption rate, especially when shorter wavelengths are used, and potentially in the particle temperature inferred from the two-color LII. We also demonstrate that claims that low-pressure LII can be used for particle sizing are flawed, due to the use of an incorrect expression for radiation heat loss rate from the particles in this regime, and unjustified neglect of particle sublimation heat loss. Using the currently best available carbon sublimation rate expression and physical parameters, the relative importance of heat conduction, thermal radiation, and sublimation heat loss from an isolated carbon particle was investigated for different ambient pressures, particle temperatures and particle diameters. To ensure particle radiation heat loss is dominant over conduction and sublimation the ambient pressure and the particle temperature should be kept respectively lower than 10-4 atm and below about 2800 K. Under these conditions the effective temperature of a particle ensemble containing non-aggregated polydisperse primary particles to the power of -4 is proportional to the mean value of the particle absorption function, provided the particles are in the Rayleigh regime in the near infrared. The influence of finite system size on the free energy of a spherical particle floating at the surface of a sessile droplet is studied both analytically and numerically. In the special case that the contact angle at the substrate equals p \pi/2 , a capillary analogue of the method of images is applied in order to calculate small deformations of the droplet shape if an external force is applied to the particle. The type of boundary conditions for the droplet shape at the substrate determines the sign of the capillary monopole associated with the image particle. Therefore, the free energy of the particle, which is proportional to the interaction energy of the original particle with its image, can be of either sign, too. The analytic solutions, given by the Green's function of the capillary equation, are constructed such that the condition of the forces acting on the droplet being balanced and of the volume constraint are fulfilled. Besides the known phenomena of attraction of a particle to a free contact line and repulsion from a pinned one, we observe a local free-energy minimum for the particle being located at the drop apex or at an intermediate angle, respectively. This peculiarity can be traced back to a non-monotonic behavior of the Green's function, which reflects the interplay between the deformations of the droplet shape and the volume constraint.  相似文献

A two-color LII technique for in situ measurements of particle size distributions is described. The technique is based on the simultaneous detection of time-resolved LII signals at two different wavelengths with one-dimensional spatial resolution using a newly developed experimental setup. The ratio of both LII signals yields particle temperatures as a function of time and location. Measured particle temperature decays are numerically simulated based on a detailed cooling model for particle ensembles. Particle size distributions are obtained by fitting simulated particle temperature decays to measured ones using multi-dimensional non-linear regression. The two-color LII technique for particle sizing can be applied to a wide range of materials because it is independent of the optical properties of the particle material. Exemplarily, the measuring technique is applied to investigate the synthesis of nanoscaled metal oxide particle in a laser vaporization reactor.  相似文献

This study extends previous work on exit jet particle velocity in the in vivo canine model of phonation by measuring air particle velocity at multiple locations in the midline of the glottis and across multiple levels of recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) and superior laryngeal nerve (SLN) stimulation. In a second experiment, exit jet particle velocity was measured at midline and offmidline positions with constant levels of RLN and SLN stimulation. In this study, peak particle velocity was higher at the anterior commissure than at the posterior commissure in the midline of the glottis, and peak particle velocity was higher at the midline than at offmidline positions. In addition, increasing levels of RLN stimulation resulted in increasing peak particle velocity; however, increasing levels of SLN stimulation failed to produce a uniform effect on peak particle velocity.  相似文献
