A 2D close-packed array of thermosensitive microgel beads was prepared by the double-template polymerization method. First, a 2D colloidal crystal of silica beads with 10 microm diameter was obtained by the solvent evaporation method. This monolayer of colloidal crystals can serve as the first template for the preparation of macroporous polystyrene. The macroporous polystyrene trapping the crystalline order can be used as a negative template for fabricating gel beads arrays. A functional surface using thermosensitive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gel beads array was fabricated by the double-template polymerization method. 相似文献
Summary: Supported catalyst system for the slurry phase polymerization of styrene in toluene was prepared by the immobilization of 2-methylindenyltrichlorotitanium(2-MeIndTiCl3) on silica and activation of this catalyst was performed by methylaluminoxane(MAO) in polymerization media. Homogeneous polymerization of styrene with 2-methylindenyltrichlorotitanium activated by MAO was performed in toluene. The morphology of obtained syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) via heterogeneous and homhgeneous catalyst system was compared. Polymerization of styrene by homogeneous catalyst lead to formation of gel and resultant polymers presented a compact and dense texture while the global gelation do not occur with silica supported catalyst at different Ti/SiO2 mol ratios and sPS was obtained as separated particles. Unlike to the homogeneous catalyst, obtained polymers showed a porous texture. Highly porous texture of sPS was obtained with Ti/SiO2 = 0.5% mol ratio. 相似文献
Summary: Three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous (3DOM) syndiotactic polystyrenes with pore size in the range of 71–286 nm were fabricated by means of silica templates using (dbm)2Ti(OPh)2/MAO catalytic system. The resulting materials were characterized by NMR, SEM, powder X‐ray diffraction, GPC and DSC. The results indicated that the 3DOM syndiotactic polystyrenes were highly syndiotactic, and the pore contraction increased when the average pore diameter decreased. Compared with bulk syndiotactic polystyrenes, 3DOM syndiotactic polystyrene possessed lower molecular weight, narrower molecular weight distribution, and lower crystallinity and melting temperature.

Three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous (3DOM) syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) and poly(p‐methyl styrene) (sPPMS) are synthesized using silica colloidal crystal templates with varied diameters in the range of 548–214 nm, and the effect of polymerization space on the conformation of the resulting 3DOM polymers is investigated by spectroscopy and thermal analysis. In‐situ polymerizations of styrene and p‐methyl styrene within the silica templates induce the resulting 3DOM polymers with different conformations and packing of chains, which are different from those of bulk polymers prepared in the absence of templates. Polymerizations in restricted silica templates result in un‐helixication of 3DOM sPS chains and helixication of 3DOM sPPMS chains.
A novel metallocene catalyst was prepared from the reaction of (η3‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)dimethylaluminum (Cp*AlMe2) and titanium(IV) n‐butoxide Ti(OBu)4. The resulting titanocene Cp*Ti(OBu)3 was combined with methylaluminoxane (MAO)/tri‐iso‐butylaluminum (TIBA) to carry out the syndiotactic polymerization of styrene. The resulting syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) possesses high syndiotacticity according to 13C NMR. Catalytic activity and the molecular weight of the resulting sPSs were discussed in terms of reaction temperature, concentration of MAO, amounts of scavenger TIBA added, and the hydrogen pressure applied during polymerization. 相似文献
Ag nanowires within the channels of mesoporous silica have been successfully synthesized via a double solvent technique, in which n-hexane is used as a hydrophobic solvent to disperse mesoporous silica and an AgNO(3) aqueous solution is used as a hydrophilic solvent to fill mesochannels. The morphology of the obtained Ag (nanowires, nanoparticles or nanorods) can be controlled by adjusting the concentration of AgNO(3) solution and the template pore size. HRTEM images demonstrate extensive Ag nanowires with several to tens of hundreds nanometers in length are deposited along the long axis of mesochannels when the atomic AgNO(3)/Si ratio is 0.090. When the atomic AgNO(3)/Si ratio is 0.068 or 0.11, there is a combination of Ag nanoparticles and nanowires; nanoparticles are mainly formed when the atomic AgNO(3)/Si ratio is higher than 0.14. Further, the catalytic results of the oxidation of styrene show that styrene oxide and benzaldehyde are the main products of the reaction, and the morphology and diversity of Ag in Ag/mesoporous silica composites have an effect on the conversion of styrene and selectivity of styrene oxide. 相似文献

It happens inside: highly active nanoreactors are prepared by encapsulating dendritic Pt nanoparticles (NPs) grown on a polystyrene template inside hollow porous silica capsules. The catalytic activity of these Pt NPs is preserved after encapsulation and template removal. Different metals, such as Ni, can thus be reduced inside the capsules, thereby leading to the formation of composites with tunable magnetic properties. 相似文献
